I don't endorse my art being reuploaded on pinterest without my awareness and consent, but the unfortunate reality is that there's very little I can do to stop people from doing that. I know a lot of artists have a similar sort of antagonistic relationship with the site purely because it's so full of stolen, unsourced and uncredited art. I could spend my days going through pinterest and reporting my pieces for removal, and it wouldn't be enough and I'd never have time to do anything else. It's kind of a pick your fights situation and I know I can't win that one.

man it's really frustrating watching in real time as googling things about something like a new video game gets harder and harder. i've looked up a couple things about ac6, and the results you get have steadily slipped these last few years from barely helpful articles written to maximise SEO, to blatantly machine generated paragraphs of bullshit. just entire websites of completely incorrect information all stated with that same stilted confident enthusiasm, peppered with hyperlinks to the rest of their nonsense articles

I have finally conceded that gremlins have eaten my kindle voyage and I do, in fact, need to replace it. It's been more than year of waiting for it to "turn up" interspersed with frantic episodes of looking. It's not happening! It's in the negaverse now.

Ended up down kindof a chain of articles (like this) (and this one) that confirm how I've already been feeling —ie that the NPCs are not only actively hostile to 'me' as a character, but me as a player, as well, in many ways.

What I've seen and read of the characters and world-concept from a distanced perspective (through the lens of an audience, and not Experiencing The Story As Joker) has been cool and interesting and the music fucks, obviously, but idk, I'm just tired of this shit, today. Maybe this just Isn't The Game For Me and this is just another factor of that to add to the list, maybe it's just not the right time to be playing it and I'll do another 8 hours in another 5 months, or get super into it next week, I dunno.
