something something cody and frankie growing up with the rescue bots who used to be slightly more mature but by the time the kids are 14 they’re the same maturity

something something them growing up and graduating high school and then college and the rescue bots are still excited for story night and cant watch horror movies without crying and gag at kissing and fight over who’s the faster rescuer

something something cece was so small to the rescue bots when she was born but in just a decade she’s almost their age mentally

something something the townspeople having the rescue bots babysit their kids and then their grandkids and they’ve barely changed

something something when chief burns eventually dies the rescue bots can barely grasp he’s actually gone because to them he had hardly lived

something something they’re so long lived as a species but so young personally that when they finally grow up everyone they grew up around will be long, long gone

do you ever think about how dean isn’t even that old?? like yeah he’s old for a hunter, and by all accounts he would have and even has died young but… he’s conceivably only halfway through his life. he’s got maybe even more than forty more years left with cas. holy shit. one day he’s gonna have more years of his life spent with cas than without him. they’ve got the rest of their time on earth in front of them and it’s gonna be done together

Btw I’m actually a little behind on the pjo series so I’m only on like. Episode 5. But I’m getting to the end of it and I just wanna say I love Annabeth so much I love her and I love Leah Sava Jeffries they’re both incredible

beard and ted are life partners. and that isn’t necessarily in a romantic sense, either. they’re just a package deal, regardless of whomever ted is with or whomever beard is with. they’re always going to be together. bird by bird…

i already said it but the reunion choked me up, the death choked me up, but the thing that made me start producing actual tears was when they panned over the ship. and i thought to myself, i miss buttons, i wish we got him a little more, but then i noticed: frenchie is the first mate now. he was calling shots. he was sounding more sure of himself. and i realized, buttons wanted to go be a bird. he was happy. it was okay for things to change. it’s okay to move on. because now look, frenchie gets to try to be first mate under better circumstances, and he’s not gonna be perfect at first but he’s going to do fine. it’s okay to change. to be changed. to grow.

imagine having an author of much beloved works, who turned said works into successful pieces of media, here on tumblr/social media and all people can think of is send their threats against said person worded in a funny way to mask their entitlement…

.. you’ve loved their work for years, so have faith in them - they will deliver! we know they will.. they already have in the past, the fact that there’s a bit of pain and angst along the way as the characters grow in order to end up where we want them to doesn’t entitle you to sending unhinged messages to said author/creator

the fact that said person is kind enough to engage with you isn’t an invitation to do more of it in the future

Throwing it back a wee bit as I’ve read a post regarding this today and made me wonder.

Who do you think ended Charles & charlottes relationship and more so why? I thought they were heading for marriage kids etc especially with one of his best friends having a baby.

I have to admit he didn’t seem happy in many of their photos compared to fan ones.

Do you think he will whore about or settle down again soon.

i don’t and won’t speculate. it’s not my place, our frankly any of our places as to why their relationship ended.

fans need to learn boundaries, these are their private lives and it’s not our place to speculate, create drama, chase people off the internet because fans think they’re entitled to know everything about their relationships, we’re not entitled to shit. it’s not our place.

also “not looking happy in photos” ? if my job was constantly in front of a camera, i wouldn’t enjoy taking photos in my personal life either. that doesn’t mean he wasn’t happy?! i’ve heard this so many times and shows how little people use their critical thinking skills.

social media is such a small portion of our lives, posting or not posting. stop speculating on someone else’s relationship. especially one that ended where they explicitly asked to respect the privacy of people involved.

It’s so important to me that the basis of Eurydice’s and Dorian’s relationship, the core of it, is that they recognized each as abuse children. Eurydice not understanding Dorian’s speech or coping mechanisms until she met his father in the tavern and knew intimately—though maybe not consciously—what this was because she had known it. She knew a father that did not love his child as they were, did not understand them, did not want them, violently tried to change them to fit his preferred mold. That all he wanted was an object, no a son. And she marveled at Dorian’s ability to acknowledge it and refuse to play into any longer.

Brave. When Eurydice meant Dorian was brave, she meant in a specific way and he knew it. That’s why he paused—because Dorian is smart and perceive in a way she isn’t and he doesn’t need that many clues to know how they were bonded.

and yet for all that Eurydice curled around him like a protective older sibling, offered him the elven name of ‘brother’ and stood vigilant over him.

and later that night when they were drunk and Eurydice spoke the things her father had done to her and then begging Dorian not to say it, not to make it real because she would not—could not— hear that her father did not love her (that she wasn’t ready), he let her have it.

I made a mistake including Roger and Rouge in this fic bc I got attached and I want them to live SO badly but I can’t bc this fic is canon-compliant and they’re both dead decades before the story even starts but god DAMMIT
