Hi! ❤️ This might be quite specific request, but don’t you know fics where Harry and Louis hook up, thinking it’s one night stand, or flirt etc and then meet in a future during very surprising circumstances (like, one of them turns out to be a professor and one of them is student or sth like that)?
Hi sugar. I could have sworn I'd made a One Night Stand fic rec, but now I can't find it so I'll do it now. I'll star the ones where they part and meet again.
this is my jam by @disgruntledkittenface (M, 5K) where are all the gay bathhouse fics? This is the first one I’ve read in this fandom and I loved it. This author beautifully captured a sense of the times, the atmosphere, and the character’s connection and humanity in under 5K, and you really should read it. (FYI-it’s a ONS that is left with a hopeful open ending…)
⭐️Night Out by @helloamhere (E, 10K) Prequel to the fic below. This one introduces the characters with lots of banter and a super sexy one night stand/semi-public sex. There's a fabulous second part where they meet again. And more: Saving Symphony Hall.
⭐️You Drive Me Round The Bend by TheCellarDoor (M, 77K) This is another I read ages ago, so I can’t recall details except that I loved rich, spoiled brat Louis and struggling musician Harry and instant chemistry followed by instant dislike and misunderstandings. Followed, of course, by ultimately falling in love.
⭐️Carried Away Like Butterflies by @dinosaursmate (E, 17K) I always enjoy this author's writing and I loved the concept of the two of them having to live together, but only one of them remembers their one night stand.
My Saddle's Waiting by crimsontheory / @ireallysawanangel (E, 6K) A sexy combo of the wrong number and one night stand tropes. Definitely worth a read!
A Red-Dusted Planet by onewasturning (E, 38K) This is one of my favorite authors. The writing is so dreamy and sexy and this is one of those fics where the the smut (especially in the final scenes) is so emotional and revealing. I just really love this fic. One night stand turns into much more.
Three Days Underwater by theteapirate (E, 10K) AU based on the film Weekend, directed by Andrew Haigh. This is really a beautifully written fic but I’m warning you, it’s got an open ending so if you can’t deal with that, don’t read it. But if you can….wow, it’s lovely.
Change My Needs by zarah5 (M, 13K) Another favorite author and this one is not only so good I didn't miss the smut, but it also made me want to fall in love all over again. One night stand gone wrong. Or, very right. Depending on how you look at it.
like an animal (i wanna feel you from the inside) by @bottomlinsons (E, 4K) Just a funny little crack fic involving a piercing and an embarrassing trip to the hospital. I love this one. Link is to a download.
another hazy may by deLILah (M, 41K) Another author who writes great fic after great fic. This one has that dreamy quality I love and there’s also something about it that, at times, reminds me of a little bit of a Raymond Chandler novel. I know that’s weird...but, yeah, it does. Anyway, I love this one. Such a good read.

Here’s some completed fics (on ao3) I’ve read that I would love to share with y’all!
- Monsters at Home by theteapirate: short read, about 40 or so pages. I really loved this one but there’s some sadness in it, so be warned!
- Unbelievers by isthatyoularry: if you consider yourself and haven’t read this; what are you doing?? also, very bold opening LMAO
- Young & Beautiful by Velvetoscar: extremely well known fic, a masterpiece, slow burn, it’s a beautiful story, features all ot5 :D no smut as well if that’s not your fancy
- Soft Hands, Fast Feet, Can’t Lose by dolce_piccante: a wonderful mix of good times, sadness, and angst, Plus, Louis’ a dancer, so there’s that.
- Escapade by dolce_piccante: if you’ve ever wondered who tf Jack McQueen is, he’s in this story :D I promise you’ll love it

Heyy, do you know any fics with Isaac/Scott as a side pairing? (preferably slow burn and rating E but whatever you can find ❤)
Okay, so all of these are Sterek featuring Scisaac, unfortunately though, there’s not a great deal of slow burn and there’s even less that are rated E. I tried I really did, but it was kind of a no go. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy these.

What I’m Reading April-June
Sorry for the long delay, I’ve really been lacking the motivation these past few months - but I am still reading fic! Here’s what I’ve been reading lately:
Re-Reads:
1. We’ll Be Seamless (dinosaursmate) - Louis spends all his spare time scrolling arty nude blogs on Tumblr but amongst them all, Green is his favourite.
2. Responsible Forever for What You Have Tamed (leighbot) - Harry runs away to escape his past and Louis has nowhere else to go to have a future.
3. Just Lay with Me (givemesumaurgravy) - Louis is the coach of Harry’s daughter’s football team and Harry likes Louis’ bum. One day there’s a parent football game and Louis, just maybe, starts hitting on Harry and, just maybe, Harry gives in.
4. For Better, Worse, and Mischief (I’m All Yours) (redorchid) - The One Direction PR management team decides that Harry needs to get married. Harry doesn't want to. Louis comes up with the perfect solution to the problem.
5. I’d Burn This City Down to Show You the Light (you_explode) - Harry’s a sheltered rich kid and Louis’ a punk with a heart of gold. They meet when Louis breaks into Harry’s house, Harry obtains an instant and all-encompassing crush, and they spend the summer falling into a whirlwind romance.
6. Hold My Breath (zarah5) - It's possible — possible — that his three-week ban from the football pitch makes Louis just a tad antsy. Surely it's not so bad that it warrants punishment in the form of his friends signing him up for a yoga class? Either way, Louis is determined to hate every second of it.He didn't count on a yoga instructor who wears flower-patterned headscarves and smiles like summer won't end.
7. In Dreams (dolce_piccante) - When Harry moves to a new city, his new flat come with a number of sweet, anonymous gifts and surprises that brighten his days. Could it be a friendly ghost? 12. Bring Out Feelings in Me I Never Show (orphan_account) - Louis accidentally hires a felon to be his fake boyfriend for Thanksgiving.
13. (Your Heartbeat) Rang True Inside My Bones (flimsy) - Harry goes as Louis' date for a weekend wedding. He ends up taking the role a bit too seriously.
14. Life at Shutter Speed (zarah5) - Having landed a job modelling for an outdoor clothing catalogue, Harry certainly wouldn’t mind doing some extracurricular work for photographer Louis Tomlinson. Say, a private photo session? Yes, please? Good thing that Harry has ten days and three beautiful locations -- Morocco, Indonesia and the Swiss Alps -- to make Louis see just how good they could be.
15. Three French Hems (100percentsassy, gloria_andrews) - In which Louis is a designer at Burberry and Harry spends December wearing Lanvin… and Lanvin… and Lanvin.

Trouble is, Louis is not out, and the law says his heirs can only be born of a woman. Louis is determined not to let that stop his pursuit of Harry. Of course, Louis can’t let that go, so he does something else, so Harry has to do something else, and then it’s a vicious cycle that continues until one of them makes a plea for a truce.
It’s like that even when they’re at home. Sometimes it’s like that especially while they’re at home, because Louis gets bored easily and Harry is just such an easy target. The point is that the kind of foolishness that Louis is known for doesn’t stop when the cameras stop rolling, so when Louis lets himself into Harry’s bedroom at 5:30 in the morning to annoy Harry into waking up before he goes for a run is completely normal and to be expected.
Except that it turns out not to be so normal.

summary: It starts when Louis decides that he wants to lose his cherry and announces that he thinks the best way to do that is by going to a gay club. Naturally, Harry can’t let him go alone, so he tags along and spends the night rating guys with Louis until someone finally catches Louis’s eye.
Harry shoves him out to dance with the guy, and he can already tell that it’s going to be a quick and dirty hook up, so he’s not surprised that Louis and the guy disappear into the bathroom ten minutes later.
It is a surprise when Louis comes out not even two minutes later, pale and clammy, grabs Harry by the hand and drags him right out the door.
Somehow Harry comes to the decision that it would be a good idea for him to be in the room with Louis while Louis gets laid.
It’s a stupid fucking decision.

Harry looks up and immediately freezes. Next to Ms. Archie stands the boy from just the other day. The boy with the leather jacket and chipped black nails, that might or might not be sketched in the very book Harry has just placed on the table in front of him. The leather jacket is missing today, probably because they aren’t allowed as part of their required uniform attire, but Harry can still see the fading black nail polish on his nails, and eyeliner around his eyes. Harry’s mouth goes a little dry. This boy is so intriguing to him.
“Ye-yes, Ms. Archie?” Harry tries to play it cool, but he’s almost positive that his cheeks are burning red, and he’s relieved neither of them can tell how fast his heart is beating in his chest.
The boy seems to also recognize Harry, because his lips curve into a knowing smirk.
“Harry is at the top of his class. He’s your best bet at getting familiar with things around here.” She explains.
Louis nods, his smirk still very prominent on his face. “Thank you Ms. Archie. I’ll be sure to take advantage of young Harold here.”
