Oh to be an extraterrestrial being of immense power, summoned from your home on a whim to unlock a door for 3 random witches on some midnight excursion 😌
I hope Marisha and Laura know that despite the fact that Laudna and Imogen are so so very in love, they haven't failed at showing a solid platonic female friendship. Especially this campaign, with how close the witches all are; Fearne, Imogen and Launda are all such close and wonderful friends. In past campaigns we've also had Vex, Keyleth and Pike; also Veth, Jester, Beau and Yasha. Critical Role is not lacking in solid female friendships.
Some of those characters in those lists having romantic feelings for each other either in end game or fleetingly does not erase their friendships at all.
its so great that the witches have each mastered one of the three main charisma skills--imogen's deception, laudna's intimidation, and fearne's persuasion
ashley johnson the depth and breadth you bring to this faun should be studied—brokenhearted fearne with no words to describe her broken heart—she’s the fey of all time
Fic idea: the witches decide to get ashrym together since they aren’t doing it themselves, and use magic, shenanigans, and thinly veiled suggestions to stick them in cliche romcom situations.
Bonus points if Ashton is aromantic and it still works out well (this is always bonus points actually)
It’s been twelve hours and I cannot stop thinking about Imogen’s new These Witches Be (Bad) Bitches outfit.
The leather bodysuit. The sheer gown overlay that exists purely for The Drama of it all. The best friends corset. The cropped, cross-wrapped leather moto jacket.
fearne burning some incense and crushing up some blue lotus and lavender, sprinkling it around laudna, and imogen letting laudna lay in her lap (bonus: imogen offering “do you want to suck out some of my soul?” which is so godsdamn gay)
