Bronwyn and Theo went to Valinor with Arondir to live together forever as a family.

Maybe Galadriel interceded for them with Gil-Galad, maybe they simply built a boat, sailed and no one had the courage to stop them. I don't care.

This is not an headcanon. This is the Truth™ and I am not gonna hear any disagreement on this. They lived happily in Valinor, planted the Aldrin seeds, and had two more children. Centuries later, they became great friends with Legolas and Gimli.

I just love this little family so much!

Theo in RoP

My main argument for why Halbrand was NOT going to be Sauron was because RoP needed a really flawed, human man character to foil the elves, make messy decisions, and ultimately sell the South back to Sauron for perceived protection. Lots of people thought Halbrand was the King of the Dead or a Nazgûl because of this.

But if RoP did anything well it was misdirection because we were looking so hard for certain tropes. And I think it will be THEO who is either the King of the Dead or a Nazgûl. First of all, because his mom increasingly became a plot device for the further development of Theo’s story. Second, he has already had a brush with dark power and knows how hard it was to give it up. And third, he started the “Strength to the Southlands” chant AND in his discussion with Galadriel, he is very clearly internalizing the loss of his lands.

So if the show is going to be 5 seasons or so, Theo is the right age (younger than Isildur) to fill that role. He has the backstory, the motive, everything. Especially if Halbrand never comes back to be their king.

Anyway. No one has said that so I return to Tumblr after two years to share my thoughts.
