Do you have any headcanon concerning Max?
*cracks knuckles* Oh boy, do I?
Well, first things first, let us start with his personal habits. The show didn't expand much on this but considering that Max is a basically a product of the mad-scientist archetype (diluted), I headcanon that he gets too caught up in his projects to take care of himself. He often needs to have his mom or his sister (Phoebe) remind him to eat and drink (and even sleep)!
Despite all this, he's a pretty hygenic person who take care of his appearance. He does tend to forget to shower if he gets caught up in a project but as soon as he finishes a creating binge, the first thing Max does is take a shower. Then he considering eating or sleeping (depends on his sleepy or hungry he is).
With this we move onto the next headcanon: his eating habits. Max isn't really a foodie. He'd eat anything and everything really. He's not very picky and often fails to notice when his food has gone bad. He can, and will, eat spoiled food without realizing if he's not stopped.
Max is also a perfectionist. A perfectionist to the highest extent in fact. He'd absolutely fail something if it doesn't fit the blueprints in his head. He doesn't settle for good enough. He doesn't say, eh I'll fix it later. If it doesn't work as exactly intended then it's a failure and he needs to scrape it and start from scratch.
(Not sure if this counts as a headcanon but oh well) Max is very ambitious, often working too hard to achieve his goals. Nothing he does is unmotivated by the need to obtain what he wants. His every waking moment is dedicated to that one thing. This is shown a lot in the show but it isn't actively told.
His sleeping pattern is up in the air. Max doesn't sleep a lot because he always, always, feels a need to work. He's not an insomniac, he doesn't have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. He just doesn't like to sleep. He feels like it's a waste of time, so it's not very often that he falls asleep deeply.
He's also a very light sleeper who'd wake up from the slightest bit of noise. If someone so much as breathed a little bit loudly in his vicinity, Max would wake up in moments. If the room isn't dead quiet and the light as dim as it can possibly be without the room being pitch black then he probably wouldn't stay asleep for long.
These are my headcanons for his personal habits. I'll talk about his relationship with his family (the way I see it disregarding the Thundermans show) and how I feel he'd function in the superhero society without being a villain in later posts! Just don't forget to remind me because it'll probably slip my mind!

Billy Thunderman Relationship/General Head Cannons
Authors note: Hi! This is my first post. I’ve never done headcannons before, so I’m sorry if this is bad. I am taking requests. I will do my best to answer them. Please do not steal content.
- He fiddles with your fingers when nervous or just as a stim
- He gets self conscious about his “slowness”(dumb) so sometimes he needs reassurance
- He would go anywhere to get you anything you want
- He’s a golden retriever boy
- He’s a simp. He’s just happy to be there with you and that you love him
- He really likes hips/hip dips/love handles. He doesn’t care what his partner looks like (but I think he likes chubbier girls) but he loves all body types
- He takes almost everything literally so you have to be patient and ready to explain
- I think he would like to give you piggy back rides and go fast with you. Doesn’t matter how much you weigh he’ll find a way
- He always makes sure you’re comfortable with everything./in a situation. If you’re not he’ll find a way to get you out of there as quick as possible
- You have to help with studies and school and it actually kinda helps bring his grades up(just a little) cause he’s thinking about you and that makes him like remember the moment you were teaching something
- Speaking of, when you’re studying he’ll get bored and start teasing you. He’ll kiss your neck and whisper in your ear. Maybe throw you onto his bed, or pull you into his lap.
- Barb and Hank like you because let’s be honest they worry about him because he’s “dumb” so they’re happy there’s someone to take care of him.
- You and Nora have to be friends, because family means a lot to him and Nora is his best friend, but don’t worry she loves you. You guys do manicures and pedicures and all that jazz together
- He likes when you scratch his head/ laying his head in your lap
- He likes to cuddle with his arms around your waist and his legs tangled in yours.
- He really likes kitties and puppies so one of your dates might consist of just hanging out with furry friends.
- He just loves animals in general.
- I know he’s “dumb” but I feel like he’s really good at coding and like video game glitches and loopholes
- He doesn’t care what y’all do or where you go for dates he’s just happy to be with you.
- He hypes up everything you do no matter what
- I feel like he probably gets bullied for being slow so he appreciates it when you stand up for him(even if he doesn’t realize he’s being bullied)
- He’d definitely stand up for you if you were ever bullied. Like no questions asked.
- He’d also probably do anything you asked him to do.(with in reason)
- I feel like he probably flusters you a lot without even realizing it.

He’s bisexual 💖💜💙
Trans 🏳️⚧️ (ftm)
AuADHD
Favourite colour is black (is constantly told by Phoebe that it’s a shade not a colour)
Has a sweet tooth
Listens to all genres of music except classical and jazz
His swoosh is literally his bed hair
He takes longer than Phoebe in the bathroom
He uses his freeze breath on Phoebe when she goes on one of her boring rants/lectures
He can swim really well
Colosso is basically his emotional support animal for anxiety and/or autism
He’s super smart but just doesn’t try in school cause it bores him
His favourite subject is science
He pranks all his siblings but Chloe
Has a crush on Oyster
Has glued Phoebe to a chair on multiple occasions
Tried to get Billy to speed run backwards to see if it would turn back time
Never turns in his homework but always completes it
Yells “rainbow!” And points excitedly
Points at all the animals he sees and imitates them on car rides and/or road trips
Owns at least 3 guitars and has named them
Has nightmares about taking his family’s powers and joining Dark Mayhem
Doesn’t tell anyone when he’s sick yet his family still finds out (Colosso tells them)
His parents use to tell him that the sweets they were eating were “too spicy and that he wouldn’t like it” but young Max loved spicy foods
Max became a ‘villain’ to get some form of attention
He’s a mommas boy
Chloe is his favourite sibling
He likes to keep things clean and in an organised manner
He could’ve gone professional at baseball but chose not to
He skates
He always tries his best but feels like it still isn’t good enough
He was actually super close to taking over the world he just didn’t want to
His paintings were always the best but were never put on the fridge
He’s the class clown but secretly insecure stereotype
His jokes are actually hilarious and most people find him funny
He can play violin quite well he just prefers guitar
Wore eyeliner and smokey eyeshadow to one of the band’s performances
Loves when Chloe paints his nails
Him and Phoebe have 3am talks about their childhood and the funny moments as well as talk trash about their parents
He pats every stray cat and dog that allows him
He believes that no dog breed is aggressive it’s the owners that make them that way
He has broken quite a few bones and has gotten a couple stitches
When he was young he got chicken pox and found it unfair that Phoebe wasn’t suffering with him so he gave them to her on purpose
Young Max used to sleep with Phoebe after a bad nightmare instead of his parents
Max used to have a pet rat but Barb made him get rid of it
He lets Norah put bows in his hair when he gets really bored
Whenever Billy yells “race ya!” Max gets Chloe to teleport him (it freaks Billy out until someone tells him Max ‘cheated’)
His top 5 artists are Twenty one pilots, NF, Nirvana, Nickelback and My chemical romance
Can also play the drums
His password is ‘Thunderman1scool’ because no one would guess it
He called his parents by their first names as a way to ‘distance’ himself from them for when he did become a villain
He watches Horror movies for fun
He laughs when people die in movies and it freaks everyone out
He loves Mother Mother

Headcanon Question: If Max would be super focus on his invention, do you think he might have OCD due to being completely concentrated on his invention?
No. He's just supremely obsessive with his work and wants it to be at its best. Single-minded you might say.
He has this sort of tunnel vision that makes him hyperfocused on his inventing but that doesn't necessarily make him OCD. His obsessiveness doesn't extend to his daily activities and even then it doesn't fit the category required for him to be classified as someone with OCD :-)
(I also don't know much about OCD as a disorder and I can't, in good conscience, apply it to a character without having interacted with and done research on it myself)

Kinda wish there were more thundermans blogs on here that actually talked about the show. Because all I see is negativity about Hank and Barb, some variation of 'Max Thunderman is a poor little meowmeow" and recently also a really great incorrect quotes blog (@maximus-octavius-thunderman - definitely check it out, best thundermans blog imo), but that's it. Where are my funny headcanons? And sad headcanons? Where are people talking about their favorite (or least favorite) moments of the show? Where is the fandom?
