For my OC - Nicolas B
Where to start... honestly I didn't jump on Cyberpunk until a year after it's release, and it wasn't until my 3rd run that I actually invested time into my character's design and backstory. I won't be sharing pictures of those previous two, but just to give you a taste of my humor, they were gag characters; Corpo Bill Nye the Cyber Guy, and then Streetkid Avril LaV.
Nicolas, my Nomad baby, is my first true OC in Night City. I gave him the alias/last name "B" mainly because it was the closest sounding letter to "V". However it also tied in well in being ex-Bakker. He's based off of no one in particular and grew naturally as a character the longer I played and interacted with the fandom. (OC QnA mainly) Back then, I was way too nervous to try mods and only stuck to vanilla PM, taking shots at every turn I could in the story without any ReShader or High Res programs. Below is one of my favorites from back then.
During the development of his lore, I wrote his story to specifically revolve around 2023 and planned for him to die in the bombing while helping Johnny. However, due to some people who didn't like this idea, and from my desire to have my OC hang out with other OC's/V's, I chose to design a much older version. Nicolas '77
From there, I finally got into using mods etc, and changed my story around where I would have 3 Nicky designs in total. Streetkid teenager Nicky for 2013, a city Nomad Nick for 2023, and a Dark Corpo styled Nicolas for 2077. I didn't plan for all version to utilize each lifepath, but it did. I will point out though that Nicolas is more Nomad than anything.
It wasn't until a year later that I finally started to settle on his canon story. Through RP and continuously detailing him out, a dark horse came along and Silver B was born. He is more AU specific than actual canon, but I still want to include him in this post. In this AU, he loses and arm to an assassination attempt and ends up getting a chrome left arm. I also used it as an excuse to play with more mods ^w^
Now it's 2 years later (coming up on 3) and I've continued my VP journey. Ranging from memes, photoshoots, abstract and comic panels. I also still do Digital 2D Fanart, but it's more spaced out in comparison. The one below is my only fanart to myself of Nicky, aiming for the body form I truly see him in along with the cleaned up hairstyle.
So wrapping it all up, this is his canon summarized.
Arrived in NC in 2012
Became a Roadie for Samurai before they signed on with a label
Worked as a Techie Merc/Thief until 2023
Designed and built the bomb for Johnny's Arasaka Tower Raid
Disappeared off-grid for 50 years due to the loss he (believed) he caused
Returned to the surface when he hears whispers of Silverhand and the Relic, along with news of Kerry's attempted suicide.
Reconciles with Johnny and the rest of the band members before choosing to go off with Alt in cyberspace.
In other OC's universes, I've also given Nick an "NPC" role. He randomly spawns in various bars and alleyways in NC, offering to craft you items based on the scrap you provide him. In the event that you are low on scrap, you can buy weapons and tech outright, but he would charge additional along with taking more than just a day to get it done. I've played around with the idea of making him his own romance route, but I've yet to flesh that out.
Anyways, if you read until the end, thank you so much for taking the time. I don't often have the chance to talk about Nicky in detail, but it was a lot a fun revisiting how far I've come with him and my VP.

Guardians of the Galaxy × SAMS crossover au ((based off a rp I did with a friend))
The guardians find Lunar fully repaired in Monty's space station and decide to take him under their wing for a while. Due to Lunar needing to get back to Earth the team try getting him there in their ship. Rocket slowly gains a fondness towards Lunar over the 5 weeks the bot is with the guardians; this being slightly caused by Lunar trying to gain a friendship with the crew.
Soon they arrive near the pizzaplex and take Lunar home; unfortunately he's grown too attached to them and tries to convince Sun and Moon to allow him to join the guardians. Earth being the smart lady she is admits it would be best if Lunar makes a life outside of being in the daycare and has him agree to at the very least try visit once in a while.
Soon enough the Guardians Of The Galaxy have Lunar as a new recruit, specialising in tech support and combat specifically.

=The Far Future AU=
This is if I were to write Devil's Eye with a more sci-fi bent, leaning closer to influences from my favorite science fiction media as opposed to historical/period/pirate, and is intended for RP with futuristic muses and blogs.
The Legend of the Devil's Eye still applies as it would in the Main Story and the Modern AU, but taken further; in the far distant future, all of that is… well, just that. Legend. Pirate stories to tell your children as they are tucked in at night, and nothing more. What is not known, however, is that the Devil of the Sea not only still walks without his missing Eye, but the world has passed enough hands enough where searching for it has become fruitless… especially as sources of power in humanity's souls are starting to reach for the stars.
As such, the Devil has abandoned his search, opting to have… different sources of storing his power as it continues to grow. And these sources… well. The centuries haven't been kind to them or their humanity. The worst of mankind has taken a toll on what were once his last minions, but rather than allow them to go to waste, their essences are repurposed to be personal extensions of him… and how they are used is up to however he wants to at the time.
No matter the form the one once called "Master", he will always wear a necklace of seven pearls of seven different colors. In order for whatever power he has to be complete, he must keep all seven on his person at all times.
The Master, however, still requires to find the Devil's Eye--his original lost Eye--to be wholly defeated. But that would require returning to Earth and rediscovering the Legend that tells of how the Devil lost his Eye to begin with.
OOC, the focus muse of RP in the Far Distant AU is the Master, usually donning his Dr. Delmar Agdeppa disguise. However, this disguise is one of many, but with his power waxing and waning like the tides, and said power having to be divided up and store in seven different places instead of just two, he must be extra careful in how he uses that power. He will, then, continue to seek out souls, either to devour or enthrall.
As for La Demonia Roja and the Crew, that is up to the partner muse. One of the following sub-verses can used:
Variant A: The history of Earth has destroyed the humanity in the Seven so thoroughly, their bodies and souls can barely hold on any longer. However, rather than simply turn them into his Locker, the Master just repurposed them with what is left of their souls as they are wholly reduced to their Sins. Destroying a specific pearl on the necklace will release that soul into the Devil's Locker all while chipping away a bit of the Master's power. This is automatically this Verse's Doomned Ending, as the Sins are reduced to their vices and have lost their humanities altogether.
Variant B: Well, duh, humans can't handle the vaccuum of space, so the Master just kind of…. hid his thralls in pearls. Taking a pearl and breaking it will release that Sin, though it'll take a while for them to regain their bearings. They'll still be soulbound to the Master, however. Finding a way to free them will require the standard Voyage of the Devil's Eye storyline, just with whatever tech is available in this verse.
As for what kind of sci-fi I'm riding on, it's mostly the soft kind. It's also left underdeveloped so I can adjust to the Verse of the partner muse. Hence, I can easily fit it into Alien, Metroid, F-Zero, Treasure Planet, DOOM, Starcraft, any science fiction verse where an Earth may have existed once upon a time. Just don't ask how 'souls' are defined by that verse, lmao. That's too much a headache.

And you said that you’re also a fan of Glitch Techs and There Is No Game, and I sort of have a Glitch Techs/TADC crossover and a potential Anon thingy for User!

if i understand correctly, you have played at least imperial agent and one of the sith stories with Eight (since you have screenshots of him with a blade and tech classes can't use those) but i don't recall you posting about any original character expect Eight and Nosta
have you played any other swtor class stories? if you have, did none of them just interest you as much as agent did?
Ok so! The explanation is a lot different from what you might expect: yes, it is true that I'm just more attached to my agents than the other class story characters, but the reality is that I used to do group-rp with OCs from the other classes (sith warrior, jedi knight, trooper/bounty hunter) and once that group stopped playing, I couldn't use those OCs anymore even though I still adored them. They were too tied to the stories of other OCs (who I couldn't use in a more independent setting since they belonged to my other partners), so I had to orphan them.
That's how Eight came about, actually. He used to be my Nine, but changing his story from the ground up and exploring him in a different direction outside of RP resulted in an entirely new character. Nosta's a special case: she was never attached to any particular RP story, so it was easy to retain and port her character over especially since she's always important to my agent's backstory.
I have posted one or two screens of my Warrior (oc: midi) and Bounty Hunter/Trooper (forgot her tag, her name is L'roya), but none of my Jedi Knight-- but these are the four classes I played and enjoyed! I do miss my old OCs from time to time, it's just the issue of being unable to divorce them from their old setting and my general unwillingness to re-adapt them like Eight, which would probably require second playthroughs and a lot of thinking. I still haven't finished my Bounty Hunter.
TLDR; admin's just lazy and doesn't have much space in their head for a full cast revamp, but yeah, I guess you could say Agent is the easiest for me to hyperfixate on. XD

Okay hello and greetings!
About me: I'm Blue, 20+ he/him, I have ten and some odd number years of experience writing and roleplaying, I can do anything from lit to three-liners but I do normally prefer around 1-3 paragraphs as a middle ground just to keep it rolling and keep it interesting!
What I'm looking for! So because I'm deranged and love making languages and species and planets, I have several different alien ocs I'd like to use! You can pick one, or we can have multiple rps or whatever you want! Your oc can be human or an alien of your choice that you've created, I'm okay with any bug-like characters, fur, tentacles, whatever you want to throw at me! I will take any combination of pairings and even polyamorous romances!
My Characters:
*note-- none of my characters will have a gender or genitalia preference, use whatever oc you please! They are also all humanoid-ish with some non-humanoid aspects to them*
Onii'kvi: Oni is 23, headstrong and terminally ill. He has a rare blood disease that he's getting treatments for while also being an employed and active pilot in the Galactic Defense Corp (GDC). He's goofy and smart but tends to act rash and quickly, most often seen with Sai'urn, Onyx, Kavik, and Eq'aix. He's intersex (both parts), and a vers/switch. Any pairing goes well with him!
Sai'urn Ne'ka'c: Sai'urn is... well, a Prince of Holarus, the most diverse and technologicall advanced planet in the galaxy. He's 30, and also captain on the GDC and a scientist, leading research organizations on his home planet when he's not on assignment in the vastness of space. Most often seen with Onii'kvi, T'ik'a, K'iian, Onyx and Eq'aix. He's also intersex, although with the bonus of 2 d*s, and about 80/20 top/bottom ratio.
K'iian: K'iian is an engineer, he works on anything from pilot spacecraft to scientific machines and transportation tech. He's 25, transmasc aligned and a complete and total whore bottom. Most often seen with T'ik'a and Sai'urn.
T'ik'a: "Tick" is first and foremost, a freelanced hacker. She's 28 now, but was scouted by the GDC at seventeen for hacking into their databases and getting her brother's record scrubbed. She went to CAAE space academy, as did everyone else at their own times, and went on after graduation to work for the GDC for years. Most often seen with Kavik, Onyx, K'iian, and Sai'urn. Whilst under them she created EN3Y, her fully conscious robotic best friend. Tick is butch femme presenting, and a total power switch (aka whatever position, she's in charge)
Kavik: Kavik is a beginner-ranking medical officer on Holarus, but also travels onto the GDC's ships to bring aid and supplies where possible, sometimes joining for relief missions on other planets. He's 24, with a great personality although it looks like he could kill you with a single glance. He's most often seen with Onyx, T'ik'a and Onii'kvi. Kavik is intersex also with two d*s and is more of a power bottom but will top quite often, more of a 50/50 split.
Eq'aix: Eq'aix, or "Nox", is a pilot alongside Onii'kvi for the GDC. He's 23, goofy, and there's a bit of a language barrier for him due to his species and home planet being the farthest removed from advanced civilizations like Holarus. He's most often seen with Onii'kvi and Sai'urn. Nox is intersex, transmasc presenting, and an 80/20 top/bottom ratio.
Onyx: Onyx is Sai'urn's cousin, and a high-ranking medical officer on Holarus in their hospitals. He is 28 and prides himself in his works in curing diseases and researching others to find the best treatments. He's often seen helping Onii'kvi with his tests, as well as Kavik, Sai'urn, and T'ick'a. He's amab presenting and holds two D*s. He's also a vers/switch!
A tad bit more is I do enjoy making playlists, pinterest boards, talking ooc and making friends along with writing. I enjoy a good smut to plot ratio but that being said I love a good smut centric rp, don't be afraid to hmu if that's what you'd like or if you'd like more plot with your smut I'm good with that too! (But I do plan on writing smut regardless). WE CAN DISCUSS MORE LATERRRR

Glossary of Terms often used on the Blog:
The Skylanders: Much like before in their original homeworld, the Skylanders are the champions of righteous justice on Earth and Akerah. Although their numbers are vastly much less than they were 1000 years ago, when Spyro was their leader. But when they needed him most, he was gone. The Skylanders were hunted down one by one at the hands of the wicked Power-Fist, until only 20 were left. The Skylanders now are led by Cynder, while still being opposed by Power-Fist and his space armada. They possess powerful and unique abilities over the elements, each Skylander being a different one. Currently, the Skylanders are kept in check by the Mabu Defense Force, who keeps a ever-watchful on them, lest they go rogue and cause trouble. Spyro the Dragon and Cynder are most popular among the Skylanders seen in the Mythical Multiverse, they are pretty famous among the general public and very much much well-liked. The Skylanders are bold enough to take on threats than even the Avengers and other heroes can't handle by themselves.
Arkeyans and Their Technology: Relics of the begone Arkeyan Empire that was defeated 10,000 long years ago by the original Skylanders, the Giants. Who were the Arkeyans, you ask? An evil empire of sentient robots. Too bad much of their history has been lost to the sands of time. The influences of this civilization continues to be felt throughout the universe to this day, and many of their inventions continue to be discovered by archeologists many centuries after their reign ended. As an ancient civilization and empire, nobody knows the true origins of the Arkeyans, but it is known they were once peaceful beings. It was the Arkeyans who created the modern day tech that humans and aliens use. With their marvelous technology, they created immensely powerful war machines, to which they used to wage war upon the universe as a superior lifeform. Soon enough though, the great Arkeyans dominated Skylands and the rest of the known cosmos. They were absolutely brilliant in their vast intellect, during their reign all of Skylands had been enslaved by them. Led by the ruthless King Arkus, they were the most powerful civilization in the universe. Until their downfall by the Giants, they were practically unbeatable. The Iron Fist was later locked away in the Skylanders Museum.
Portal Masters: They were once considered the wisest and most powerful beings in Skylands and the universe. But they have since faded from relevancy in favor of superheroes, and are now considered a myth by others. Only quite a few in written history have been born with ability to manipulate portals and command legendary heroes, such as Master Eon and more currently, Portal Mistress Sophia. Portal Masters were the protectors of Skylands alongside their chosen champions, their mission to defend the realm from The Darkness and all those under it's influence, such as Kaos and Malefor. While the Portal Masters were once in the defends of the universe, they like the Skylanders are now next to non-existent. After Power-Fist arrived in Skylands, their future looked bleak, but however, a new Portal Master hailing from Earth is now on the scene. And she's doing everything in her power to drive back the forces of evil once more after Spyro's return in the Mythical Multiverse.
The Titans: These guys are the original the Skylanders for the most part, but other members of the species exist as well. They are titanic and monstrous in size, and are recognized for immense power. Alone a Titan can single-handily level a large city within an hour, but together they can take on even the gods themselves. Most Titans wish to be left alone at their tropical resort, some are legendary heroes, and others are absolutely malevolent and seek to bring harm unto others. Much as Manos the Destroyer of Worlds for example. The Titans are considered dangerous on so many levels by mortals, and are rightfully considered the original gods before others showed up, such as the Greek, Norse, and Celtic pantheons. Yet when all goes wrong, even the mightiest of heroes will take on a Titan that is on a rampage.
Divine Powers: There are millions of gods and goddesses scattered through the Mythical Multiverse. The first and oldest pantheon in existence is the Draconic one, followed by the Elven pantheon, and then others. On Earth there are Greek, Norse, Celtic, Hindu, Egyptian, Polynesian, Chinese, Japanese and more that exist. Some of them appear humanoid in the case of Zeus and Thor, while others are more monstrous in the case of Sobek. Even the Lovecraftian gods exist within the Mythical Multiverse in the case of Ephi, The Darkness and Azathoth, these powers are the Outer Gods and they are among the most powerful beings in the infinite multiverse.
The Elements: There are ten known elements seen within the Mythical Multiverse, with the possibility of even more out there existing. They are the essence of everything found in the Mythical Multiverse. Everyone has access to an element, but one only. Though every element is different from one another, they are all equally important to each other. The known elements are as follows, Air, Earth, Water, Fire, Tech, Magic, Life, Undead, Light, and Dark. Together they all make up the building blocks of the Prime Matrerial Plane in the Mythical Multiverse.

Raskol is an incredibly old Traveller, one who claims to have been around since the early days; they have lived more lifetimes than they care to count.
Taciturn and a bit socially stunted, it was until very recently that Raskol largely kept to themself. They dip their hands into many different projects and fields, but their work begins and ends with, well, the beginning and end of the universe.
Known for being particularly grumpy, Raskol is finally learning how to relax and be a bit more... well, fun. It's probably the Nipnip.

A much younger Traveller, Onfim met the early legs of their journey with unbounded enthusiasm and optimism. They were reckless and feared little.
Onfim loved to dig for information, to pull things apart and study them, but trouble only followed when they dug too far and found only c̵͚͖̝̈́r̸͚̀̇i̵̗͐̒m̷̨̧͑s̴͈͚͗̿o̴̬̜̅n̶͖̓͐̈́ and g̷̩͂̀l̴̡̠͊̔͝a̵̭̲̻͗ś̴̢̄s̵̗̱̀̇.
They're back now, though, feeling more stable and yet incredibly discordant. The more social of the Twin-Iterations, Onfim is eager to meet with others and constantly be in a crowd.

Batch twins HORIZON!AU: trivia
Together with @heksahela - guilty in my Horizon brainrot. Tagging @zaana for this trivia! :D
Main RP narrative:
After the explosion of Starkiller Base, the balance of the Force and the space-time continuum were disturbed. Ilum and Starkiller Base have become an anomalous timeless zone that can change unstably and unrecognizably at any time. Anyone from any time period can fall into this anomaly, but it is impossible to return back and fly out of Ilum's orbit.
Crosshair and Tech got to this base a few months ago: Tech - at the moment of falling into the abyss on Eriadu, Crosshair - after another torture on Mount Tantiss. They are the only members of the 99 who have been on the anomalous Starkiller and already understand and accept the rules and anomalies of this reality.
Current anomalies and events:
The anomaly reappears. This time, Ilum has changed beyond recognition: instead of snowy wastelands and ice caves, green lush jungles and endless oceans with sandy beaches, green plains and endlessly high mountains thrive on the surface of the planet. The lifeless ice planet has turned into a tropical resort... However, along with the change of climate, a new, anomalous reality appears, which is discovered by Tech and Crosshair.
Tech discovers a strange hole in the base's hull, into which a raging river flows, and shows his find to Crosshair. Without thinking twice, they change into diving suits and simply jump into this abyss without armor, without equipment, except for flashlights, knives and one harpoon, and swim deep into the abyss to explore... Something. They don't even know what they are researching. The flooded base module turns out not to be part of Starkiller, but literally another part of some mechanized facility that appeared on Ilum due to an anomaly - just like all the inhabitants of the base from different timelines appeared. They find a strange data module and dive deeper, later bumping into a patrol of machine droids they don't know - they turn out to be Burrowers. They realize they have found an anomaly within an anomaly.
With varying success, making their way past the patrol of maschines, they find themselves in a huge flooded hall, in the center of which they see a literally glowing chest with legendary loot (we wrote a comedy professionally mocking the game narrative). But this box was guarded by a huge multi-meter multi-ton machine (Tideripper), which these two dumbass twins of course decide to destroy, having neither armor nor weapons with them. They drain the water from the hall and find the weapon together: Tech finds the Tripcaster and Blast Sling, and while he distracts the Tideripper, Crosshair finds the Sharpshot Bow and climbs onto the ceiling beam, shooting at the maschine while hanging upside down. They destroy it together and search the chest in the center of the hall.
In the chest, they find data modules that Tech will decipher later, a pendant with an unknown green planet with huge oceans, and... Two Hawaiian shirts with a goose pattern. Yup, that sketch was about this episode. Nope, I'm not kidding.
So... They have a huge and very long adventure ahead of them, in which they will learn more about the reality that appeared on Ilum due to an anomaly, understand the value of life and be able to learn to fully trust each other again, as they trusted before Order 66 - like friends and like brothers. The concepts drawn are materials for our further planned episodes, which we will get to later. Perhaps new sketches for this AU are ahead! :)

All her senses felt more acute. Her sight for one was far more pinpoint than before. The colors of the world were way more intense when she lifted the glasses. An orange tinted reality is fine by her if it’ll keep her from going insane.
“What did we eat recently? Yew didn’t put any weird bugs in yer mouth didja?” Vash’s voice with her manner of speaking made him sound more intimidating than normal. He’s sitting more on what most people may think Vash the Stampede sounds like.
“Cause I didn’t.”

ME!AU RAPID FIRE:
*abarahm resident over powered biotic. vanguard. heavy reliance on barrier+charge plus has done some incredibly illegal mods to his service shotgun. concussion rounds+experimental incendiary that blows you open and burns you out from the inside. you're better off getting slammed. the van brunts are also like, the closest thing to royalty the alliance has which means he's even more arrogant and egoistical than regular canon because he has never, at any point, had to deal with the fallout of anything he's ever done.
*i cannot stress to you enough this man's response to ichabod saying "abraham we can't do that, it's a war crime" is "only if there's batarians left alive to tell anyone". he doesn't even have a good reason to dislike batarians outside of alliance propaganda and like. blatant racism, if i'm honest. man is not remotely empathetic enough to actually CARE what any of them have done he just Craves Violence.
*and speaking of, ichabod. infiltrator, squishy as fuck counterpart for abe's tank but it's fine because he's in, done with the mission, and out before anyone knows. (if he's....yknow. not with abraham. that is.) he's also, for some reason, basically the only person that can stand to be around abraham for any length of time, likely because they ended up in basic together and just kinda clicked despite differing personalities.
cutting bc there's a lot, rapid fire or not-
*one of the things i put a lot of effort into back when this was a thing i did on the RP blog was making abraham and shepard's stories mirror each other, if not entirely, in a lot of ways. abraham was the original poster boy, and he was actually the first line draft pick for human spectre.
*it doesn't come to pass when a mission goes tits up, and he nearly dies. family name and money catches the attention of cerberus, who slide in with promises they can fix him, like, totally, we prommy. he does get fixed, he gets top of the line cybernetic implants and in the end it's nothing some PT can't fix.
*except oops! mommy and daddy van brunt stupidly trusted the known terrorist organization because they were more interested in making sure The Family Legacy went the way it was supposed to! and now their already OP son is infested with fucking reaper tech no one knows about!
*the injuries abe sustains when he almost dies includes a TBI. the TBI has the fun little side effect of actually interfering with the indoctrination from the reaper tech. lots of notes in abe's recovery with him commenting about buzzing/humming noises no one else seems to hear and "i swear to god my teeth itch".
*abe's first mission once cleared for duty ALSO goes tits up because harbinger tries to awaken what's supposed to be the best little sleeper agent Its ever Had only to find out the fucking sleeper agent is defective. it begins an ongoing battle where harbinger is constantly trying to outright control abraham entirely, but it doesn't always work.
*he officially gets listed as MIA--POSSIBLY AWOL
*ichabod and abraham's plots revolve around everyone lamenting that the alliance golden boy just cracked under the pressure and couldn't cut it, with ichabod sincerely believing that's not the whole story. "abraham is an arrogant ass, he's not an unhinged coward" is repeated quite a lot.
*abe and harbinger's back and forth for control means sometimes he loses. sometimes harbinger is able to make the indoctrination work and operate him like a fucking meat puppet from dark space, and that fun little TBI that causes the back and forth also means he's completely aware the whole time it's happening.
*eventually he notices a pattern in that getting his shit rocked (ie more brain trauma) tends to shake harbinger loose, which results in one encounter with ichabod and abe where he tells ichabod 'the next time you find me trying to kill you, aim for my head'
*basically a lot of it is the concept of like. Worst Guy You've Ever Known Finally Faces Consequences except. it's also one of those stories where at a certain point you're no longer thrilled by these turn of events, you're kind of uncomfortable. it seems less like comeuppance and more like watching someone slowly get fed into a meat grinder for no reason.
*which. remember the early concepts for saren and tim where the reaper tech was slowly eroding any organic parts of them? yeah. yeah he's not having a good time.
*abe also ends up targeting cerberus when he's controlling his own mind, particularly when he finds out they were only able to save shepard because of what they did to him. feels a lot like being the test run.
*which leads me back to shepard and abe having mirroring stories. in the end the reaper war ends and they're both dead, but only one of them is remembered.
*abe's death takes place during me3. i never got as far as plotting the details but it was always meant to be a last ditch "fuck you/ i'm not what you made me" type thing. there's also a smidge of suicide by sacrifice to it, because again, he was already dying because of the reaper tech and just. was so goddamn tired. it's shades of vega as well in like, what he does is very big and very good and saves a lot of lives (ichabod's included) but it's. just that shepard was already elsewhere, doing bigger things.
*after ichabod gets cleared after abe dies, he basically gets a "tyfys here's your next posting" and asks what about abraham which is met with "what about him?"
*ichabod then starts demanding abe's status get changed from MIA--POSSIBLY AWOL to killed in the line of duty along with a posthumous commendation of valor. i'm thinking he gets a call from hackett about joining the crucible project and agrees, but on one condition, mostly because the idea of ichabod yelling hackett down is kinda BDE if i'm honest.
*also of importance: abraham being a whole ass home of sexual whose also big brained enough to be like "actually asari aren't women so yes i can fuck them despite being gay"
*and finally if he ever found out aria t'loak fucked mordin and not him he'd blow up afterlife and everyone in it

Few random headcanons I put into my RPs:
Rocket doesn't drink alcohol *that* much, he's actually more of a coffee addict, he prefers it black, and his favorite is Kona.
He drinks very strong drinks due to his small stomach volume, so he seems like a lightweight but if he is drinking beer, he really won't feel much.
He has internet access on Knowhere and he has a cellphone. Right now he just has a basic qwerty 'dumb' phone but may get a smart phone later when he feels so inclined. The internet access he has is integrated into his own computer system and it is set up in computer emulators using an outdated windows OS he jerry-rigged himself. Sometimes certain things don't work quite right due to compatibility, but it gets the general job done.
Rocket hates Earth's 'planned obsolescence' for tech so he realizes older technology on Earth tends to be higher quality despite more limiting functionality which frustrates him to no end. He gets most of his earth tech from Junkers in space, since him having Earth money isn't consistent.
His favorite show on Earth so far is Star Trek: The Next Generation
Rocket's favorite musicians are: Muse, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Guns and Roses and The Cranberries
Rocket has never had a birthday celebration and doesn't really know how old he is anyway.
Rocket is numb in some areas of his body due to his creation process. He's mostly numb in areas around his scars/implants due to damage to his nerves, so the areas with less alteration have more sensitivity. He can't feel anything but pressure on his upper back and upper chest.
He has very deft hands, they're steady as a surgeon and incredibly dexterous. They're also pretty calloused from all the work he does. (He probably needs a hand cream, ngl)
Rocket does keep records akin to keeping a Journal. He does not share that with anyone, and most people don't even know about it. He usually writes right before going to bed if he feels like he 'has anything to say'.
Rocket's multi-lingual and natively speaks English, Orbose along with a few other Earth and space languages. He can rely on his translator implant for others, but he was created with these languages hard rote into him.
Rocket has no religious affiliation. Even after his afterlife affirming experience and allusion to there being a higher power, he took the meaning to be something more abstract, akin to fate. He knows there are Gods (such as Thor) but he does see them as just ordinary people with unordinary powers. Despite this, he is generally respectful of people's beliefs as he sees it as part of their culture and understand how important that is to people. However this does not apply to cult like religions like the Universal Church of Truth.
Rocket hates bugs, there may be a bit of a squeamish fear within him too. Like he'd scream if a fly buzzed in his ear or if he found a cockroach. He had some issues with bugs getting into his cage when he was little and he just thinks they're gross. He doesn't need to explain it to you. Groot and Scott are the only ones he actually explained this to, but everyone else kinda knows. There's only so many times you can overreact about a bug being on the ship before your friends piece things together.

Vriska is a no items/Final Destination girl, and Tavros’s ‘escapes’ probably feel like getting killed by a janky stage hazard. People aren’t allowed to win against her - even if, by her standards, it doesn’t count as a real win.
Given what we now know about her home life, any kind of loss probably sets off alarm bells in her head.
That’s actually a good point. We haven’t really talked about gender on Alternia - I’ve been saving it for later on, when we have more cultural context - but all of what I’d call the most dangerous trolls are girls.
The only exception - sort of - is Sollux. But his destructive abilities seem to be a outlier - and the only time he’s used them is when Aradia’s own machinations required it. He doesn’t seem all that dangerous by nature.
Or even my sprite.
I’m picturing the tech-flavored Midnight Crew sitting in Gamer Chairs on Derse, scanning everything on my land for vulnerabilities. Jack hates it - it’s such an indirect way to attack someone, that he cringes when someone even calls it an attack.
What if you just straight-up prototyped an AI? It would be interesting to see how the kernel’s ‘intelligence-boosting’ effect which we saw with Jaspers would work on an artificial mind.
My intuition is that even the best contemporary AI models would result in an inert sprite, but I do wonder if this could turn something that’s almost an AGI into the real thing.
Maybe the fireflies are actually related to Sollux’s computing bees, and they also interface with technology in some way.
I like the idea that they could act as data relays, blinking to each other in binary code to transmit data wirelessly. It’d be a good ‘biotech’ answer to short-range communication technologies, like Bluetooth.

He would be so mad if he had to dance the Carmelldansen.
He would do it. Not all the time, and not just for anyone, but he’d absolutely do it if one of his friends caught him in the right mood. You’d never know in advance how he was going to react, but if the stars aligned and you asked him to join in, he’d just stand up and start, albeit complaining the whole time. His dance choreography is perfect.
Love it. That’s how I approach complex story ideas like this - just throw out all the ideas you have, and see how they gel with the evidence!

Nepeta is interesting to me, because, moreso than any other troll we’ve seen, she really acts like an early 2000s internet archetype. The fact that she actively roleplays suggests one of two things.
Alternia, despite the massive cultural differences between itself and Earth, has an online RP scene roughly analogous to ours. Do you think they roleplay as lusi?
Alternatively, Nepeta invented roleplay.
Could be either, could be both. The fact that a non-corpse kernelsprite is rare suggests that something is actively preventing it from happening, but I guess that could just be good old-fashioned predestination at work.
Maybe the Harlequin's mischievousness is just how the ‘usually a corpse’ rule was enforced in this case, and other sprites were discouraged from breaking it in other ways.
One Homestuck fanfic (in Russian) called "metatime" what you call "Pebble Theory". Traveling though time is predestined by metatime, but some entities with super powerful control over time can theoretically change the metatime itself, from a hypothetical previous iterations of events. [] - RM
‘Metatime’ is a good framework to understanding a lot of time-travel plots, I think. It’s a good example of how a simple change in perspective really can drastically aid your understanding of a concept.

Lovin’ it! One thing I am looking forward to is, when I’m finished the comic, looking back on the original reactions and theories when the comic was posted live. It’ll be fun to compare my interpretations to other people’s.
It’s another one I’m kind of happy I didn’t guess. It’s fun to be thrown for a loop in this comic, especially when it’s with a twist that makes total sense in hindsight!
I dunno, it just feels right to me? Maybe it’s my accent, or something, but I’m definitely parsing it as though there’s a ‘h’ in there. I’m notoriously kind of bad at pronouncing things, but I’ve arbitrarily decided that I’m going to die on this hill.
