Jacksepticeye Ego's Explained (1/2)

Welcome my dear viewers to this explanation of the egos and their stories, this is for all theorists new and old who want to relearn or learn more about the egos! To get lost in Jack's world of storytelling.

Let us start with the people behind the making of the ego lore!

First and most obvious is Jacksepticeye, he plays and makes up the egos through a series of videos, comic books, games, and podcasts to come! (Note the game and podcasts have not come out yet)

Secondly will be TurquoiseMagpie, they are a freelance artist whom Jack reached out to a while ago to help story plan the egos, they tend to tease little hints of lore when we approach new videos including all of the egos.

Third would be Jacksepticeye's editors, which includes Alice Robin (BitofAlice) who has recently retired from working for Jack! Alice Robin started editing for Jack around 2016 and was the first person to help bring egos to life! She spent endless hours editing every single ego to the best of her ability which helped create this world that is not like any other.

Then Trey (Tr8ss) who is a new editor within the group, he has helped bring projects such as IRIS to life! Trey typically edits most of Jack’s stuff now from ego lore to everyday videos when he is given the chance!

We also have Diceroll who is a common editor for Jack who tends to appear at random, he has helped tease the egos a few times alongside just being part of the ride!

Hyper RPG is a company that helps creators create interactive livestreams, virtual production, etc. The company had a part in the production and creation of IRIS and the IRIS interactive live stream.

BadEgg Publishing is a company that helps bring the ideas of comic books to life, recently it has been revealed that BadEgg had a part in the production of the comic books “Void Silver” and “The Somewhat Incredible Jackieboy Man!” or better known as the “ALTRVERSE”

Kyle Horwood is an Indie game developer who has created games such as “Security Booth” which is a game that Jack decided to play one day and absolutely fell in love with. Jack since then has reached out to Kyle about developing an IRIS-themed video game! The game is still a work in progress and has no release date!

The Magic Circle is a UK-based company that surrounds itself based on the idea of magic and show business, The company has been mentioned within the description of Marvin’s lore within the comic books!

Arin Hanson, or better known as “egoraptor” and one of the faces of Game Grumps! Arin plays as Dr. Hanson (Fanon name) in IRIS, he accepted Jack’s request to be part of the universe and quickly made a bit of time in his schedule to help out!

Now we have some of the artists and editors of the ALTRverse comics!

First is Suzi Blake who is one of the artists for ALTRverse, she has teased a few photos here and there about Marvin’s story and the scenes she is working on!

Secondly is Laurz Drawz who is a comic book artist and illustrator, they created the cover for Marvin’s comic “Void Silver #1” and has expressed their gratitude to work with the team and bring something beautiful to the community!

Thirdly is Skylar Patridge, she is a comic book artist, illustrator, and sometimes writer for the comics she works on! They helped create the cover for Jackieboy’s comic “The Somewhat Incredible Jackieboy Man #1” and had a bit of help from the next artist!

Next is Megan Huang, they are a comic book artist who had part in the cover for Jackieboy’s comic “The Somewhat Incredible Jackieboy Man #1” as they created the background for it!

Lastly is Michele Abounader, she is the publishing associate of Badegg, editor, and writer for comic books! She helped bring light to some of the artist who has taken part in ALTRverse!

Now onto the Directors, Writers and Color Artist!

First is Robert Meyers who is the Director of Publishing within Badegg, he has met with Jack multiple times and helped decide which egos should get comic books! He has had a hand in both stories but mainly Void Silver!

Secondly is Alejandro Arbona who is a writer and editor for the series, he is the writer for Void Silver so he makes sure everything makes sense and flows well!

Third is Andrew Dalhouse who is another artist within the series who does the coloring, he is one of the many artist working on Void Silver, he helped with the little preview we saw of young Marvin and his cat!

Now we are going to dwell into the egos themselves and who they are as an individual all the way to how they interact with each other

The first ego to ever appear is Jackieboy Man, he is an ordinary male who has an obsession with the idea of being a superhero from comic books and video games. As far as we know Jackieboy Man has a few powers! His first and only canon video appearance is “JACKIEBOY MAN RETURNS | Welcome To The Game #2” (This may no longer be canon, we are unsure)

Viewers please be advised Welcome To The Game is a very unsettling game about the dark web, there is disturbing imagery and information that is displaced within this game!

Next is Marvin the Magnificent, he is an iconoclastic person who is known to be a bit short-tempered and sarcastic! He is a known magician who has been having trouble within the Magic Circle for breaking the rules, as far as we know with his appearances Marvin is a rather powerful person who has the ability to see within the multiverse. His first canon appearance is “The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Marvin's Magic” Then he has another appearance which we will discuss later on. (We are unaware if this is canon or not)

Next is Henrik Von Schneeplestein, he is a German doctor who has been given the name “Doctor of Death” by Jack himself. Known to be described as an eccentric and smart individual he has been shown theorizing the concept of Time Travel, where he has managed to come up with the equation of time travel itself. His first appearance is “The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Dr. Schneeplestein” (This is no longer fully canon according to Jack himself!)

Next is Anti, typically known as the “villain” of the story Anti is the glitch entity (we aren’t entirely sure what Anti is yet) who has been going after the egos one by one, specifically Chase Brody. His personality can be described as mysterious and short-tempered! There isn’t much known about Anti but he seems to have this reason to go after each of the egos! His first appearance is “THE START OF THE NIGHTMARE | Five Nights At Freddy's Sister Location #1” Then he has a series of important appearances which we will discuss later on.

Next is Chase Brody, the main protagonist so far Chase is an ex-husband/ex-father of a family whom he used to know. His ex-wife Stacy got divorced from Chase and proceeded to take their only child away from them, which influenced Chase’s addiction to alcohol. Usually in videos he is seen drinking away his sorrows until he tends to black out from what we know, Chase also suffers from hallucinations due to Anti’s behavior. Recently Chase’s life has been going downhill which we will touch upon in the discussion later. His first appearance is “Chase Brody - The Jacksepticeye Power Hour” Then he has a series of important appearances which we will discuss later on.

Lastly is Jameson Jackson, a man out of time itself Jameson is an old-timey ego who seemingly was pulled from the days of black and white television! Jameson is a mute ego which means he cannot talk, while animated in his gestures and stories he can typically be seen “talking” through words that appear on screen. We don’t know exactly who Jameson is besides the fact his first appearance allowed Anti to manipulate and puppet him against his will. His first appearance is “The Jacksepticeye Power Hour - Jameson Jackson” and a few other appearances which we will discuss later on.

There is one character to mention and that is Echo, Echo is a new character within the ALTRverse who has absolutely no information other than they have the ability to speak through Telepathy, the first video they were mentioned in they were speaking with Chase. We don’t know if this is an ego or not, their first appearance was in “ANOMALY FOUND - CHASE BRODY”

Superhero AU

So. Yeah. :I I have some superhero/villain OCs, and they’ve made me want to do something like this for a long time, I was just refraining from it because I wasn’t sure anyone would be interested. But you know what? I’mma doing it anyway because I want to design costumes so damn badly! XD

Thank you, HCAnon, for encouraging this because yes! I’m excited! :D

I’ll be removing some of the Ipliers for this one and adding some of the non-canon Septics; just depends on who can fit into the AU! If they’re striked out, that means they won’t be making an appearance

Septics

Angus the Survival Hunter: Alias: Bloodhound | Real Name: Angus Hunter Alignment: Neutral Can track anyone and anything. Works alongside Shawn; they’ll side with whoever can offer them the most in-the-moment. Be it money, or survival. Works a hunting and tackle shop for his everyday life.

Antisepticeye: Alias: The Glitch | Real Name: Unknown Alignment: Villain Unknown where he came from or what/who he is. Can teleport, possess others for short periods of time, and control nearby technology. Aims to cause chaos, and doesn’t seem to have any goals like other villains aside from creating havoc.

Chase Brody: Alias: Bro Average Alignment: Hero Has no powers, but light on his feet and has incredible aim with a variety of weapons. Very social and typically works with at least one other. Jackieboy is his main partner, and Jameson often works with them. Movie stuntman for everyday life.

Dr. Henrik von Schneeplestein: Alias: Medic Alignment: Neutral Tries to help anyone he can alongside his partner, Edward. When tending to heroes/villains, they go strictly by their aliases. Do their best to keep patients separated. Can tell exactly what’s wrong with the patient through physical contact with them. Paraplegic after a bad accident; Bing built him robotic leg attachments so he can be up and about during his side-job. Everyday life, he works in a pharmacy and uses a wheelchair.

Jackieboy Man: Real Name: Jackie Manning Alignment: Hero Somewhat new to the whole hero thing and pretty reckless. Partners to Chase. Can fly and has a sonic screech. Also has extreme agility from doing gymnastics for many years, and good at hacking. Freelance web designer for his everyday life.

Jacques Septique: Alias: The Artist Alignment: Villain They work side-by-side with the Glitch. Better at behind-the-scenes work, but can bring paintings to life to defend themself. Artist and art critic for their everyday life.

Jameson Jackson: Alias: Stopwatch Alignment: Hero Able to stop time and phases through things rather than being able to interact with them when time is stopped. When working with other heroes, he’ll stop time to scout ahead for danger, or to figure out how to get groups out of dangerous situations most safely. Playwrite in his everyday life.

Marvin the Magnificent: Real Name: Marvin McLoughlin | Alias: Magnificent Alignment: Hero Has probably been in the hero business longer than most of them. Has actual magic; inherited. Very distrusting, as he’s been stabbed in the back by “partners” more than once in the past. Everyday lifestyle unknown.

Shawn Flynn: Alias: Toymaker Alignment: Neutral Can summon and control ink; can put it in the form of dolls when fighting with it. Works alongside Angus; they’ll side with whoever can offer them the most in-the-moment. Be it money, or survival. Owns a toy shop in his everyday life.

Ipliers

Bim Trimmer

Bingiplier: Real Name: Benjamin “Ben” Iplier | Alias: Bing Alignment: Hero Creates tech for use by himself and other heroes. Has ties with nearly every hero in the city to the point he could probably blackmail them if he wanted to. Can create things that seem beyond modern technology. Typically works behind-the-scenes, but uses high-tech guns when he’s needed on a scene. Scientist in everyday life.

Darkiplier: Real Name: Damien/Celine Fischbach | Alias: Dark Alignment: Villain Former siblings fused together by a portal created by Warfstache. He can take on either sibling’s original appearance at will. Can control the shadows around her. Seeks power, and will do anything to get it. Everyday lifestyle unknown.

Ed Edgar

Dr. Edward Iplier: Alias: Healer Alignment: Neutral Tries to help anyone he can alongside his partner, Henrik. When tending to heroes/villains, they go strictly by their aliases. Do their best to keep patients separated. Light healing abilities and can tell when someone will either fully recover or die from their injury/illness. Surgeon in his everyday life.

Eric Derrickson: Alias: Runner Alignment: Hero Has super speed, but lost his legs in a fight very early into his career. Now works with Bing in his bunker. Everyday life, he works in a library.

Googleplier: Real Name: Blu Warring / Alias: Google (Blue/Red/Yellow/Green) | Alignment: Villain Former colleague of Bing’s. Captured Jim and ran tests so he could copy Jim’s ability of creating copies of himself. Google is able to make three other copies, but has been unable to increase that number as Jim can. Occasionally works with the Glitch and Artist, as all three are only interested in chaos. Used to work as a scientist, now everyday lifestyle is unknown.

The Host: Real Name: Isaac Arthur Alignment: Neutral More interested in watching what the supers of his city are up to. Blind, but can See as things happen nearby in his mind. May occasionally help one side or the other if their goal interests him, but typically keeps to himself. Writes newspaper articles detailing interactions between the city’s supers.

The Jim Twins: Alias: Lookalike | Real Name: James “Jim” Jonas Alignment: Hero Can “divide” to create identical clones of himself to overwhelm or distract. Usually works with Jameson, or in the bunker with Eric and Bing. Everyday life, he’s a reporter. Currently missing.

King of the Squirrels

Silver Shepherd: Real Name: Shepherd Marks Alignment: Hero Can fly and has super strength. Helps other heroes whenever he can, and is typically the one to fly injured heroes to Healer and Medic. Everyday life, he works in an animal shelter.

Wilford Warfstache: Unknown if that’s real name or alias Alignment: Unknown Reality warper. It’s unknown what he is or where he came from; only that he’s extremely dangerous and doesn’t seem to understand his own power.

JackieBoy-Man: Protecting [Y/N]

{The sequel to "Anti Dealing with Troublesome Y/N}

The first thing Jackie noticed when he opened the door to the house was a plethora of noises which didn’t seem to mesh quite right. The first sound was gentle snoring, unmistakably Anti’s, with the wheeze of air through the neck wound and distortion of his voice; the second was a tiny, muffled, terrified screaming; and the third was an uncomfortably noisy gurgling stomach. This miasma of noise stabbed suspicion right into Jackie’s heart and he crept closer to the source: Anti, sleeping peacefully on the couch with an uncharacteristically swollen and lumpy abdomen. Near enough to understand what he was seeing, he realized that he was hearing [Y/N]’s voice coming from inside Anti. They were screaming for help and squirming hard to escape.

His eyes widened as he paled and gasped softly, “[Y/N]!”

“Hlmph mm! Plmnv!”

“I-it’ll be okay bud, I’ll find a way to getcha outta there! Ju-just hold on!” He whispered, racking his brain for a solution.

What should he do? If he punched Anti to make him throw them up, he’d likely wind up hurting them, too. If he shoved his finger down the glitch’s throat, there was a good chance he’d end up getting cut. Or worse, end up in the same scenario as [Y/N]. How did Anti even get them in there?! Did Henrik have any ipecac left after the last poisoning incident? No, there wasn’t enough time to go looking! Who knew how long they’d been in there.

Anti began to stir and all thoughts flew from Jackie’s mind. His chest tightened and his breath hitched in his throat, so he did the only thing he could think of. He cocked his right arm back, summoned his flame aura to his fist, and socked Anti in the gut.

Oh God why did I do that?! I hope I missed them!!

Anti was flung into a sitting position with his jet black eyes bugged out. He yelled something incoherent before he groaned and doubled over, leaned to the side, heaved, and threw up. Out popped [Y/N], who fell to the carpet with a small-sounding scream. They were so tiny! Barely six inches tall if Jackie’s guess was right. Anti began to sway, so Jackie grabbed them and took off for the nearest bathroom. He held them tight to his chest as he sprinted down the hall, took a left, took another left, and slammed the door behind him with his foot. Anti would be livid after this. Jackie needed to find a way to protect them, but first he had to get them clean!

He locked the door and leaned his back against it, panting hard and sweating. Not from exertion, mind, he was a professional hero after all. No, he was trembling in his boots and swallowing hard on a dry mouth. He hadn’t even peeked to make sure [Y/N] was okay yet. He had to check, though, even though he was afraid of what he might see… what he might have done when he punched Anti.

He gulped and shook his head, steeling his nerves, “Are you alright, buddy?”

A tiny voice piped up from against his chest, “I-I think– I think so… Thank you, Jackie.”

Finally, he dared peek at the miniaturized friend in his hands. They seemed mostly unharmed, if soaked in saliva and bile in their destroyed pajamas. Dark bags sagged below their eyes, which might’ve been bloodshot but were so small he couldn’t tell. They were pale, which made sense considering where they’d just been. He stepped up to the sink and ran some warm water.

“Let’s getcha cleaned up,” he murmured, “Ya look like ye’ve been through the wringer.”

“Feels like it, too,” they nodded, edging off his palm and onto the sink.

Jackie stopped the drain and his ears perked to the approaching sound of stomping feet. Anti was coming and Jackie still didn’t know how to protect his friend! He turned the water off to hopefully throw the demon off their trail, but he knew better. Anti was clever, it wouldn’t work.

He glanced at the door and whispered to [Y/N], “Hurry, wash up and I’ll getcha outta the house.”

Anti was pounding on the door already, demanding that Jackie ‘get his ass out here with that little menace so he can eat them again’. How about no? [Y/N] hurriedly splashed around in the sink before Jackie felt them tugging at his sleeve. He looked down so fast his neck popped. They were soaking wet and had both hands up, grasping at the air and bouncing on the balls of their feet in the childlike signal for ‘up’.

“Jackie, eat me!” they begged.

“What?!”

“I just spent the last two hours in Anti’s stomach, I’ll be fine in yours!”

He felt the blood drain from his face as he glanced at his watch. Two hours? Did that mean Anti got them while they were sleeping? Just like him to prey on someone when they can’t fight– the door rattled on its hinges as the glitch-demon outside grew impatient and began cursing at Jackieboy. But to swallow [Y/N] so soon after freeing them from that very situation was wrong! How could he do that to his friend? He couldn’t!

“There’s no time! He’s going to break that door down and I’d rather be in your stomach than his!”

“[Y/N], I…” he gulped hard on nothing and turned to them, “I couldn’t possibly do that to ya!”

“Do we have another option?! Hurry!”

The door rattled harder with a heavy ‘thunk!’ that sounded like Anti was throwing his body at it. He fidgeted in place, but jumped when the door began to crack.

He set his hand on the sink with an open palm, “Okay, okay. I don’t like this, but fine! C’mere.”

The now-tiny [Y/N] jumped onto his palm and hugged his thumb as they kneeled. He brought them up to his face and hesitated. This felt so wrong, but he couldn’t come up with any other solution. Anti hit the door once more and Jackie was showered with splinters. He gasped and opened his mouth, then tilted his head back a little ways. They practically threw themself into his maw and he choked somewhat, then tried not to gag. They tasted like watered down bile.

Something whizzed past his ear and he gulped. He felt their head and arms pop into his throat as the thing that missed him by centimetres embedded itself in the tile wall in front of him. Anti’s knife. He needed to do this quickly. Another swallow and their legs were in his mouth. The door crashed open and he closed his mouth as he turned to see Anti panting and glitching in rage.

“G̷ive.̷ t̡ha͢t.̀ l͢i̧t͡tle͡.͡ ́shìt͢. b̸ack̕!”

“Nm-mn,” Jackie shook his head and [Y/N] squirmed, trying to worm their way down his throat. His stomach churned and greasy feeling started at the base of his tongue. He wanted to throw up.

“T̡hey̷'͘ŕe ̨m̕i͡n̴e̷!”

He finally swallowed hard one last time and grimaced as he felt their descent. Anti snarled as Jackie gagged, then burped and wiped his mouth. The knife reappeared in the glitch’s hand and he leveled it at Jackie’s abdomen as it swelled ever-so-slightly. He never broke eye contact.

“Fi̵nę. ͞Bu͟t ͏you’d ̢b͡ett͜e͝r ḱe͢e̷p͜ t̷he̡ḿ d́ow̛n, ơr̛ ̧y͠ou'͟ŕę ͞n͞ext.͟”

“I’m not lettin’ ya hurt ‘em.” He flexed his abs, the slight distention disappearing behind muscle, “I’ll protect ‘em, whatever it takes.”

Anti growled, stabbed his knife into the wooden door frame, and stomped off back to the living room. “Wat͜c̴h y̴o̸ur̀ ba͡c͞k̛, h́e̶r͞o.”

Jackie waited until the knife disappeared in a small puff of staticy black smoke to relax and let [Y/N]’s bulge return to his belly, then put his hand over them. There was a good chance that he was about to throw up even if he didn’t force it. They’d shifted around inside his stomach in such a way that made him incredibly queasy. Even though they seemed to be sitting still, he could feel their every subtle movement, from breathing to hugging their knees. God, this was all wrong!

His breaths were shaky as he traced their outline with his fingertips and stared at the door across the hallway. Oh God, he’d just swallowed his friend and now they were inside his stomach! How had it come to this? He couldn’t bring himself to move. He just stood rigidly, disgusted with himself but unable to truly bring himself to vomit. It was true that Anti couldn’t get them now, and they’d lasted two hours in the glitch’s stomach, but how long would they last in his? He had to go see Henrik and get them out, then find another way to protect and get them back to their original size. Marvin needed to know that Anti had done this, so did Seán. Especially Seán.

“Jackie? Hey! Jackie!” [Y/N] piped up, their voice seeming to come from inside his head, “HEY! Are you okay out there?!”

He didn’t respond at first, couldn’t bring his mouth to work.

A small collision rippled through his gut, “JACKIE!”

“Wha-?” He shook himself, snapping back to reality.

“Are you alright?”

That was ironic, they were worried about his well being.

He chuckled haltingly, “I-I’m alright, but what about you? This is the second time today ye’ve been swallowed!”

“I’ll be fine, don’t worry. And thank you.”

“Fer what?” He furrowed his brow but never stopped rubbing their outline.

“Saving me. Protecting me. Getting me out of Anti’s stomach.”

“But I putcha back in the same situation!”

He felt them place a hand against the lining of his stomach, “Not really. I mean, I asked you to. You’re protecting me, not… whatever it was he wanted to do to me.”

Jackie legs finally collapsed from beneath him and he fell to the ground, landing hard on his ass, as he put a hand to his head. What had Anti wanted to do to them? Probably digest them, if he guessed right. Oh god! Digest them! Adrenaline tipped into his system and he jumped back to his feet.

“I’ve gotta see the Doc and getcha outta me! Then we’ll see Marvin about fixing this!”

He resisted gulping on a dry mouth again and shakily made his way out of the bathroom, taking a roundabout route to Henrik’s office. If he wanted to fix this, the Doc would be the best person to see. He needed to hurry, but his feet felt so sluggish and unresponsive and the short trip down the hallways of the big house felt like an eternity. Anti would need to answer for this, but first [Y/N] needed to be safe.

He covered their outline with his hand, “Like I’ve said before: I promise I’m gonna keep ya safe, [Y/N]. No matter what it takes.”
