What's weird is that Lily somehow views bloodbending as a peaceful solution. I'm not making this up.
Seriously?
That's soooo... stupid.
But also on brand for her.
I mean, in TSR Aliana violated people's free will and personal boundaries every day, and it was framed as the "perfectest solution to all problems that have ever existed."
So a bending style that let you physically hurt and violate other people and their free will, being portrayed as the "correct and peaceful solution" fits right in with everything else she's ever produced.
Unrelated, anyone else find that incredibly concerning?

Continuing form this post.
2) Lily's clear bias for SWTOR and KOTOR II as "the only Star Wars media that matters" shows when she uses SWTOR and KOTOR II's method decoupling the light and dark side of the force from good and evil respectively as an example of "making Star Wars more interesting".
But Lily keeps forgetting a few little things:
Even in her beloved SWTOR AND KOTOR II the Sith are still portrayed as power-hungry fascists bent on committing galaxy-wide genocide against the Jedi. This is clearly seen in KOTOR II'S Kreia: a manipulative fascist and secret Sith Lord (as well as the game's primary villain) who constantly deceives the player character for her own ends!
The Sith code was NEVER meant to be this uplifting, altruistic "code of honor" but an absolute vow of the might-makes-right ideology! After all, it was inspired by Mein Kampf. Don't believe me? Ask David Gider, one of the lead writers/co-creator of the original KOTOR:
Tumblr media
Yes, the Sith Code was literally modelled after Nazi rhetoric.
What's this? "Palpatine wasn't evil because he was Sith, he was evil because he was a career-politician."
.....
.....
.....
No, Lily! Just no! Palpatine was Sith because he was evil! He embraced the dark side because he was evil! Don't you get it? On second thoughts, no you don't since in your mind: The films (except III, II and VII) and spin-offs (animated and live-action) don't count, all because they're not your precious edgelord, kill-'em-all power fantasies.
Whenever I see videos like this or fanfics like The Sith Resurgence, I don't see the work of someone who loves Star Wars but the work of someone who hates Star Wars.

The Sith Resurgence - Darth Plagueis the Fool
Darth Amorosa stepped into the chamber and looked out at her acolytes. The first batch of Sith acolytes in over a thousand years. Twelve girls between sixteen and twenty wearing plain black robes. They had been training at the Sith Enclave for a year, learning the basics of the Force and the Sith Code.
Learning the ways of the Sith after so long, a way of the Sith completely new to the galaxy but ancient to Amorosa herself, would be a long, arduous process.
Today's lesson would be their most important.
"Good morning, girls," Amorosa said softly as she stood before them.
"Dark Lady," they said in unison, inclining their heads.
Amorosa waved for them to sit down, taking a seat herself. "We're going to start today's lesson with a story. The tale of Darth Plagueis the Fool."
There was a murmur of excitement around the room. The Dark Lady had a knack for insightful stories, and they had quickly become the girls' favourite kinds of lessons.
"Darth Plagueis was a Baanite Sith. A moronic fool wearing the title of Sith as a cruel mockery of dead culture," Amorosa explained. "Throughout his life, Plagueis searched for one thing above all else. Immortality. Plagueis plunged the depths of the Dark Side and discovered secrets that would turn your stomach."
The girls leaned forward in anticipation.
"Plagueis had a unique power. He could influence the midi-chlorians in the blood to create life," Amorosa explained. "He could raise the dead, and keep the ones he cared about from dying."
There was a shimmer of intrique in a few of the girls' eyes, which prompted a frown from the Dark Lady. Some of them were seeming to take the wrong lesson. No matter...
"Plagueis sought to make himself and his apprentice immortal," Amorosa continued. "A common goal for more foolhardy Sith. He worked so hard, and experimented with the midi-chlorians so much, that he didn't notice the knife coming for his back. His apprentice murdered him in his sleep."
A few of the girls seemed to deflate upon hearing that. Good, Amorosa thought.
"Plagueis sought to claim immortality. Tried to defeat death. He came closer to it than any Sith ever had," she continued. "And in the end... Death claimed him anyway. So... what lesson do we take from this?"
There was a murmur around the room, with many of the girls seeming confused. Until one girl, a Devaronian youth, raised her hand.
"Yes, Lusen."
"Death can't be overcome?" she asked.
"Almost," Amorosa said before standing up. "Sith have wasted their entire lives searching to defeat death. Trying to live forever. And in their foolishness left nothing to the galaxy. Darth Plagueis is remembered only for his foolishness. For his pride. But there is one Sith who did defeat death. Who did become immortal."
The girls tilted their heads like squirrels.
"Darth Valee was a Sith of the Brotherhood of Darkness," she explained. "She was the unknown survivor of Darth Bane's genocide. She saw Bane and his Thought Bomb for what they were. A trap. She fled Rusaan and survived. Her actions have echoed through history, and she lives on to this day."
"Where is she, Dark Lady?" Lusen asked.
Amorosa laid a hand on her own chest and smiled. "Right here."
There was a still silence as she let her words sink in for her students.
"...You're a thousand years old?!" Lusen asked.
It took all of Amorosa's fortitude not to roll her eyes.
"I'm her descendent," Amorosa explained. "It's through her family the Sith survived Bane's genocide, outlasted his Order, and saw their resurgence. The Sith people, the Sith culture, wouldn't exist today without her. She will never, CAN never be forgotten. So long as Sith still walk the galaxy, she will forever be immortal."
There was a murmur of understanding around the girls.
"So... to seek immortality, one must leave her mark on the galaxy?" Lusen asked.
"Precisely," Amorosa smiled. "Any fool can destroy a planet. Build something. Create something that lasts and you will never truly die. Plagueis sought to live forever, and soon the last whispers of his name will fade and be forgotten."

Lily slander//
Ok can i just talk about how badly written Darth Amorosa was? She's a slavery apologist even tho she's canonically black and the slavery in SW is not the same racially motivated kind like irl, was a constant asshole to everyone yet had the nerve to lecture the jedi on their failings, force lightnings an elderly lady over a throwaway comment (said lady is freaking Princess Leia btw) and kills random people on the assumption that they're slave owners without any real proof.
When she wasn't trying to outdo Palpatine in being the worst person in the galaxy, she gets coddled by Rey, a white woman. Rey ends up being her savior and that's her entire arc. Rey isn't even allowed to be mad when she finds out her love interest's mama was a slaver. Even her sith name is only really a show of her role of being a love interest for Rey and despite being the antithesis of Kylo Ren she pretty much acts like him.
Like the idea of a sith questioning their ideology & realizing true balance of the force is a cool concept, but it's wasted on narrative that refuses to challenge the MC and allow growth.

What did you mean by “her list” in your Lily-being-a-homeroom teacher reblog? . . . . . . . .She didn’t ACTUALLY make a fucking list of things that she would teach to children if she was a teacher did she?? The same woman who runs a failing Youtube channel, lies about being indigenous, and molested her own fucking sister DIDN’T ACTUALLY MAKE A FUCKING LIST OF THINGS SHE’D TRY TO FUCKING TEACH CHILDREN IF SHE WAS ALLOWED TO BE FUCKING NEAR THEM DID SHE???!!!!!!!
Yes and no. She made a list of 100 writing tips, which, when I "graded" them it broke down very cleanly into grades. To preface the coming statements, she has a very narrow scope of media consumption and her current body of work is primarily of so-so fanfiction at absolute best, therefore i have rated her tips in relation to the only group she has any authority to speak to, first time writers and actual children. Unfortunately, She likes to speak as an authority even though she has none, and most of the tips fall outside her purview. As the running total sits, she can't be assed to take her own advice damn near a third of the time, resulting in an American D+ grade, the final grade in tips that are actionable by totally new writers and actually useful sits at a 8%...
So, while not a list for teaching children, a list for teaching she made. It was taken down in only a day due to the biblical amount of backlash. I will always do my part in making sure nobody forgets what she did, as I will stand firmly beside the objective fact that none of her work is good enough to turn a blind eye to all of the terrible things she has done.
You can find the Google docs where I separated it into good, bad, and irrelevant in these coming links, and I will also include a video from the fine folk at We Are Not Alive who are a far greater authority than myself absolutely ripping her to shreds.

TERF feels like a strong word to throw around, especially considering Lily's a trans woman herself. where does she cross the line between being generally judgmental and an actual TERF? like i actually just wanna know
as a former fan i remember she always says that any identity or pronoun is valid and not your place to judge
The Sith Resurgence is full of TERF rhetoric, down to AFABs only being allowed to be part of the Sith religion/ruling government of Aliana's world iirc.
There are more examples but these are the most mask-off and blatant of them, which makes sense as Aliana is her vehicle for bigotry she can't get away with otherwise.

Working on sketch prototypes for Allie's wedding dress and hair. Might do Rey in a suit if I'm feeling so bold. Although I'm seriously considering switching the pallette for something more vibrant after seeing so many fanarts of Aliana with more warm colors and spring stuff. Maybe a gradient? Let me know.
I also kinda meh on the robe, I wanted to go for the Anakin look but it kinda looks like a giant vest. I'll work on that...

Y’all wanna know something really interesting?
When I started writing the original version of “The Crow’s Calling” I was massively inspired by Lily and Mikaila Orchard’s “The Sith Resurgence” because I liked the ideas it was putting down. At first I thought Aliana was a compelling character and her philosophy about the Force and the Sith was interesting. So I wanted to do something similar but with the prequels.
However, after examining “The Sith Resurgence” and seeing how many issues there are with the characters and the writing and the main character always having to be right, I realised that this story isn’t all that good. Ignoring the stuff about Aliana being a coloniser, her mother being a slave trader (which Rey should have been able to be mad about, not just for angst but for the sake of character development), it’s just not very well executed.
So after I started to severely dislike Lily Orchard and realise how much she sucks as a person, I wanted to do something different with “The Crow’s Calling”. The premises are the same, ie. a Sith who is on the run meets a canon cast of characters and falls in love with one of them while also challenging the characters’ worldviews about the darkside and the Sith themselves.
However, unlike Aliana, Savi is not always correct. Savi is a character who learns. Savi had no faith in democracy at first because the Republic had failed them and their family, they disliked Jedi regardless of who they were, and they were committed to being alone and away from anyone, at first content to let the Republic fall to war. But over the course of the story, Savi learns that there are those in the Republic who want to fight for others, they learn that there is value in trusting others again, and they rock the boat by just being a sibling-like figure to Anakin.
What Savi wants is to just collect their family’s holocrons and then fuck off. But what they need is to be a boat rocker, they need to step outside of their comfort zone and allow themselves to love again while coping with grief.
Aliana on the other hand... she wants the Sith to be recognised and she eventually wants to establish a new Sith Empire. She wants to get into Rey’s pants. But what does she actually need? It’s implied that she too needs to open up and allow herself to meet others within the narrative but then the narrative itself shoots that down. Leia and Luke within TSR are treated poorly and mischaracterised, Aliana is never allowed to be wrong. She Force lightnings an old woman because the old woman made a snippy comment.
What are Aliana’s flaws? Besides surface level stuff, I don’t see her changing much in her story. She gets a girlfriend but her disdain for the Republic and the Jedi hasn’t changed. She doesn’t get challenged at all as a character. And that feels boring to me.
TL;DR: I think I am writing a better Star Wars fanfic than my former idol.

Personally I love this interpretation of the Sith Empire. It really fits with how fundamentally sinister and manipulative Aliana is as a person and makes perfect sense as her mode of conquest, gussying it up as 'just wanting to share her culture' while insidiously taking over the galaxy. (At a very accelerated rate, too-- 45% of the GALAXY in less than 500 years? The Dark Side truly is seductive.) Aliana is such a fantastic villain. Too bad Lily thinks she's a hero.
I KNOW!
It's honestly such a waste of an amazing villain in the making.

Behold some of the worst Star Wars takes you've ever seen. "I love Star Wars!" No you don't, Lily. Just like certain reactionary hacks, you hate Star Wars for the most idiotic reasons ever. Case in point: 1) Lily decides to rewrite the sequel trilogy into angst-fest that over-worships the Sith as a misunderstood, persacuted race of people, turns classic characters like Luke and Leia into "old racist white folk" and of course, has her "heroic" character straight-up murder unarmed rich people!
Plus, as someone who adores The Last Jedi as one of the best Star Wars films since The Empire Strikes Back, Lily completely missed the point of the film! It doesn't need to be "fixed" as it's already a compelling deconstruction of Star Wars that challenges the notion of destiny and fixed traditions by having the characters grow through their mistakes: Like Rey learning she doesn't need to be related to someone special know where she belongs; Poe learning to stop and listen to other people's ideas; Finn learning about how other people are effected by the war; Luke learning not to give up on himself.
I get the feeling Lily's bitter because it didn't line up with her own bloated "SWTOR-and-KOTOR-II-are-the-only-SW-media-that-matters-and-the-Sith-are-the-real-good-guys" headcannon.
That and the real reason Lily hates Rose Tico is because she wasn't a sexy traumatized black lesbian with a high body-count. Because, let's face it, Lily didn't create Darth Amorosa because she wanted "diversity" and "representation". No, it was simply because she wanted a black woman to fetishize.
