October has arrived and we all know that it's the spoopiest month of the year, which is why each year I make a custom doll to fit the aesthetic; a Halloween Special, so to speak. And for this year, I decided to make a custom doll of Ruby Red, a character from one of my favorite games of all time, The Path. ❤️🐺🌲

Her leg brace is made of Worbla, her boot is made of faux leather and the other shoe is made of Epoxy sculpt. I have no idea what the name of her base doll is, but judging by the cheap quality of the original face, it's safe to assume that this was simply just a brandless doll.

To me, out of all Red sisters, Ruby is the most relatable, since I was exactly like her when I was 15 years old. I too dressed in goth fashion, was bullied relentlessly for it, had quite the shitty life at school, had this pessimistic view on life, was hanging around with a guy who was no good for me and I was just angry at the world all the damn time. I can thankfully say that things are a lot different for me now (though influences of the goth fashion still remain in my fashion sense of today, haha) and I kind of hope that the same goes for Ruby at the end of the game as well.

Anyway, hope y'all enjoy the spooky season! 🎃
