watts is THE character ever. he arrested a man with a pretzel immediately after being shot in the arm. he uses other people's backs as a surface for writing notes. a little girl tried to kill him via hot dog. he once decided to become a mennonite. he asked for a raise while his coworkers were standing in a room flooding with acid. he knows a billion languages. he has the best suits on the show. he discovered he's jewish after recognising a song. he became a detective to find his missing sister only to find her and get rejected by her. he's a philosophy nerd. he sat down when the newsomes were playing the national anthem of new south mimico. he has the worst organization system in the world. he has abandonment issues. he's gay. he's a wine connoisseur. he is murdoch's polar opposite in every way shape and form possible. he refused to break into someone's house but gave henry detailed instructions on how to do it. he faked falling off a ladder to be caught by a handsome man. his hobo name was curly. he hosted a pumpkin carving contest but he's shit at pumpkin carving. he can't focus on two things at once. he's been kidnapped twice. he got turned into a zombie and violet had to shoot him. it's llewellyn with two L's, well, four altogether. with a y.

things that have helped me make progress with irish lately:

attending a conversation group regularly where i'm forced to cobble together grammatically incorrect sentences and therefore learn how to make less incorrect ones, in real time, without spending five minutes teanglanning everything

reading books without looking up every word i don't know, using context and guesswork and breaking down words into their constituent parts to puzzle them out but otherwise not letting any single sentence delay me too long -- if i don't understand it, i charge ahead and often the next sentence clarifies it anyway, building my confidence and helping me recognise more unfamiliar sentence structures

complaining about shit in irish on my sideblog that has like 5 followers, which takes away the anxiety of "but i have to get it RIGHT" and makes me think about how to re-word a sentence if i don't know the structure i wanted, so i can use simple phrases to say more complicated things

the general theme here is: stop agonising over correctness and be willing to make mistakes; stop looking up every single thing and get creative talking around a word or grammatical construct i don't know instead; use the language instead of just studying the language

i know there's a slasher fandom equivalent of the disney princess pink void, where they treat all horror characters like they're existing in the same universe, and im not normally super into it or anything

but im so shocked that i've never seen a crossover where norman bates meets carrie white. BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT

they were both raised by abusive puritan mothers who taught them to be ashamed about sexuality

they're both awkward social outcasts desperate for connection

and they both killed their moms

happy martian monday i got free iced tea from starbucks and my piano lesson went well and i'm no longer panicking about my concert tmrw and the sun is shining and also the house got an offer so i may or may not have manifested a sale with nayq but fingers crossed that the banks are lenient with the buyer woughgh WOUGHGHGH

wahhh honestly thats hard! some are not moments we saw like soojin encouraging soyeon with dumdi dumdi, and how patient she was with shuhua when she couldnt speak korean. for yuqi i like when yuqi kept making that flamingo teddy repeat soojin pabo lmao and that one shoot she had with minnie where she was showing off some clothes and went pretty right? buy it for me? ˆˆ for miyeon i really cant recall anything specific, apart from what i think was a trip idle had and i remember watching footage of both of them walking together and though oh so pretty TT

alright im done w the sandman now :’) uhhhhhh ending thoughts, my favorite characters ended up being nuala, barbie, dream, and despair. Favorite arc was probably either a game of you or worlds end or the wake. But also everytime i got to another arc i was like ‘this ones my favorite now’ On a side note, im glad they changed stuff around for dolls house in the show bcs that was suuuper boring to read.

I think i cried the most at the part where wanda and death appear in barbie’s dream, but a close second is matthew’s speech at the wake. Jeez

Im so excited for s2 of the show just to see how they adapt the next parts. Wondering who’ll be cast for delirium destiny wanda hazel thessaly etc (im assuming we’ll get to them lol) and im really hoping we get some of the less main plot related stories there too. (Im thinking of u johanna constantine!) umm i probably have more to say but its forgotten for the moment. Pls fans of the tv show, read the comics. That was an amazing read.

i very much love the way you rp and write muses. Not to mention you understand the Tier List and powerscaling as well as I do, if not better and you don't shy away from showing how bonkers most muses really are.

That and I adore the teacher-student relationship and friendship of Mario/Luigi/Verda and I hope we can get to rp more in the future too.

After all these years I've finally started watching Buffy and I'm only a few episodes in but damn it's so fun to watch.

at this point i dont even care if i get kokomi. i just want a 5 star
