Do you guys sometimes while in the middle of doing something randomly remember tlat? Like James and Lily's thoughts about August or when you look at the card jack of diamonds
Do you like create scenarios of how they got together, we know they start dating in December but how does James realize that Lily reciprocates his feelings and how does Lily find out James still has feelings for her? Did James ever tell her what snaps really means?
How did things with Marlene and Adam play out ? Donna and Lathe? Are they even a couple by the end? Mary and Reg? I mean, these thoughts suddenly pop up when I listen to songs or while reading some other fanfiction.
The hole that tlat left can't be filled with anything else. I have to quote Taylor's illicit affairs song that Jules 'Showed me colors you know I can't see with anyone else'.
I mean, it is a masterpiece. The story set up has swallowed us, and we have become one with it.

it’s still early NYE for me but wishing everyone a happy new year!!
this has been one of the most stressful and roughest years for me, especially during these last few months, not only from external life goings on, financial and health issues, and the first full year without my grandparents, but also my mental health being at the lowest point it’s ever been, if I’m honest. I haven’t been sure if I’d actually make it and it’s still a really hard time right now, but even if I’m crawling into 2024, that’s enough.
I’m so eternally grateful for the friends in my life. I’ve loved bonding over books, music, shows, and video games, sharing all the creativity among each other, talking to new people, getting to know and growing closer to others, and continuing to have both the deepest and silliest of connections and spend time with ones who mean so much more to me than I can ever express. I feel so seen and loved even in the darkest times - it’s what keeps me going through them, and I hope I’ve been able to reciprocate that care and love over the year, too.
here’s to the new year and that it brings happiness, comfort, and peace for all of us <3

"That Snape would have disarmed you." For a moment, the two sixth years stood in reluctant ceasefire; James allowed the words to sink in, and Lily struggled for something to say. "He would have disarmed you and decided once and for all against you, and to tell the truth, Evans, I don't think you could handle it."
Lily exhaled. "And that's why you knocked down Mulciber, is it?" she demanded. "To save me from some unbearable truth?"

What’s that james and lily story you mentioned?
Oh, its the life and times, a jily fanfiction which was published like 14 years back and last updated 10 years back. This fanfiction is one of the best written fanfictions out there.
The story is not just about James and lily but also includes plotlines about whole other set of characters who are OCs but after reading that fanfiction I have trouble accepting the fact that they are not canon.
It has the best world build out of any marauder fanfictions, the characterization of James especially is amazing and well written. It adds such good depth to each of the marauder era characters.
It is incomplete, but if you want to enter into a world of teenage angst and drama, I would recommend it.
I mean, I can talk about this fanfiction forever, but I cannot provide justice to this amazing piece of fiction with the limited amount of words that I use to explain.
