Things I’d like to point out about the ancient hero

Spoilers ahead for TOTk and botw

So it’s accepted that this is the hero depicted in the calamity/imprisoning war tapestry in kakriko(apologies for misspelling) village . He obviously hold the master sword which means that Fi must have chosen him to be worthy . I’d also like to point out that he has no horns, smaller ears , and red hair. The lack of horns could just be that he’s young and zonai must not get horns until they’re of age , but still. The smaller ears mean that he has some sort of Hylian blood in him . I’d also like to point out that ganon says that Mineru and Rauru are the last of their kind, even though the ancient hero exists . Maybe ganon doesn’t consider anyone with Hylian blood to be zonai , which is why he was so judgmental of rauru marrying a Hylian . (Ok ganon we get it youre racist). this is just me drabbling my thoughts . Please add anything if I missed soemthing

Just a little au I might be trying to work on (still in development I just wanted to share this sketch of my version of Wild) Lol I kinda love his grandma sweater idk if I’ll keep it but I think it’s cute.

Notes on sketch + others I didn’t put on the sketch:

Trying his best (he can see ghosts)

Just works at the library now, he WAS a knight before he ——

Has a weird aura that the other towns people try to ignore

Very paranoid has his blinds/curtains drawn at all times in his house, if your with him you can see shadows walk across the window or see shadows staring into his house if the blinds/curtains are open

More about shadows, his shadow changes from normal to something unnatural and gangly…The chain will try to figure out what their seeing when this happens.

Usually has all of his limbs fully covered except his face, he will sometimes wear a headscarf if he’s going into one of the other Links towns

“Is something in the tree line?”

Doesn’t like looking in mirrors, always covers them up or just gets rid of them (there are no mirrors in his house)

Loves cats and cats like gathering around him

Whenever he enters the woods there’s a chance they’ll go completely silent until he leaves them again

The fairy’s tend to be wary around him, something is telling them he needs help but they…don’t see anything wrong with him physically.

“Deer don’t normally just stare at people do they?”

Loves to bake more then he does cooking but he can do both very well.

Will eat anything but he eats indescribably quickly. He can have a full plate with food piled on it and the others could look away for just a literal second and it’ll all be gone

He always seems to know what’s happening around him when if his eyes around closed…”I think we’re being watched.” and he’s turned away from the others even if he’s so much further ahead of the others he just knows…somehow.

Link being genderqueer has always been somewhat validated by nintendo themselves, with them designing him to be an androgynous pretty boy in Ocarina and then putting a mandatory crossdressing mission in BOTW, one of their most recent zelda games

Meanwhile nintendo has never done anything to imply Samus might be trans, but it doesn't matter because we all know

There’s something comedically horrifying about Link. Especially in Tears of the Kingdom. I got blown up off a ledge by a Moblin, saved myself by gliding back just underneath it, and then crawled up through the floor to grab a second bomb it was running towards. If I was the Moblin I’d run because nobody should have to deal with that.
