Finally! Long-awaited guide that tells and shows all basic rules for creating a canon slime that (if approved by Silentia and/or mods) will be living on the moon! Last spring Muffin1304 made their first fan character. After that, other subscribers also joined the process, their creativity (and poor color scheme knowledge) helped to clarify and supplement the rules of the universe. In this guide, we tried to formulate them briefly and clearly and put them together for general convenience.

I don't post Slime Rancher on main that often but after binge reading The Last Teleport by @silentiaray, I fell in love with their au worldbuilding and designed a fan hybrid for fun! She's a Puddle in origin so she's naturally shy and on the less viscous side. It was fun coming up with the design, the au is really creative ^^

When Gortash speaks to Durge about the Temple of Bhaal, he says he does not know where it is located. However, the Temple of Bhaal is basically right next to the same boat which takes the player & party to the Morphic Pool of the Elder Brain.

Does Gortash teleport to the Morphic Pool of the Elder Brain? Are there multiple entrances from which he can access it? Because if not & he takes the same old boat Tav/Durge take to reach it —

How did he miss the Temple of Bhaal?? It is literally next door???

Alright gang I have been doing math and I’m calling it

We’re gonna end season 1 of the anime on chapter 50 which is great for spoilers below the cut

50’s the golden door, and our first changeling episode, so it’s a reeeeeally good spot to end season 1

51 picks up with the gargoyles just inside the door, so it’s a good place to begin again, and since we’re already on schedule to get to 50 with 2 chapters/episode

(Episode 9 of the anime was chapters 19 and 20 because of those two 3-chapter eps)

This is a good thing too cuz with 24 eps we’d otherwise have finished at chapter 48… which is Senshi getting kidnapped by the griffin, and then his backstory would start season 2, and nobody wants that

I am heartbroken about this because FUCKING CHAPTER 52. IT’S THE GODDAMN CANARIES.

We’ll see them for like 5 minutes in episode 22 and I am INCONSOLABLE

I want my sad wet cat :(

And my illegal furry and drugged up animorph

Plus side: we’re gonna have the answers to all of our voice acting questions this season 👀

And end on the changeling circles, so I love that for us

I’d actually put money on that being why we got those slightly more smushed episodes, just so we got to 50 for the finale

Updated Chiel, which is significantly better since I didn't draw her at 2 AM XD

Big thanks to @silentiaray for helping me develop her! They have pretty art and a great au comic with fun worldbuilding that you should check out if you're a fan of Slime Rancher ^^ Here's her bio under the cut

Chiel is a timid but aspiring slime. While she's never been the best at small talk, she's been making a commitment to step outside of her comfort zone and be more social with others. Being a puddle slime at heart certainly makes it a challenge, but for what it's worth, she's doing better than she used to! Her shyness can be measured by how close to the ground she is, as she tends to sink to it the stronger the emotion is. At full confidence (which is more likely during the nighttime), or whenever she needs to, she picks herself off the floor and rises to her true height. Being shy is what Chiel is known for, but she's also analytical, visionary, and above all, empathetic.

Chiel's dream is to become a botanist and geologist, studying the biochemical properties of plants and the intricacies of the moon itself. But she has a long way to go before she can make that happen, so for now, she remains an assistant in an unrelated scientific field.
