House of the Dragon: 1x01

Incredible first episode! It felt so good to be back in Westeros. It was everything you wished for: violent, bloody, manipulation, sex and beyond.

The actors who play Viserys and Daemon are truly amazing in their role.

Now I’m very convinced that Otto played the part to prevent Daemon to access to the throne, and consequently marry Rhaenyra which was the logical way to do since Aegon conquest, the Targaryens way. Sir Otto is definitively the new vilain of the story, wiling to send his own daughter to an older man. He knew that if Daemon would be on the throne no one would be able to control him, not even Otto.

Daemon is truly a lady’s man, and yes, it’s confirmed I love maiden (especially with silver hair). I’m pretty sure something already went on with Alicent, and Rhaenyra (the way they are looking at each other, the way he puts the necklace on her).

Finally, Daenerys has been avenged. She is the hero that was promised: “And if the world of men is to survive a Targaryen must be seated on the Iron Throne. A king or queen. Strong enough to unite the realm against the cold and the dark. Aegon called his dream “The Song of Ice and Fire”.” It, also, means that it’s normal for Targaryens to wed each other, their blood must be the purest.

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say to the episode, beside that it was too short and I already want more. It was even better than GOT 1x01.

ps: I wish that every week the episode can leak for those living outside the US, because I cannot stay until 4am waiting for the episode to come online.
