I love love LOVE Fierce Dadity as a concept but I don't really seek out fics or anything for it because most of the Fierce Dadity content I come across simply doesn't mesh with my image of the Fierce Deity as a father figure.
Like they'll have him be way too vocal and emotionally open. (This isn't hate btw, it's still lovely art and fics, those people are just doing their own thing with it and I'm doing mine and that's OK. It's good, even!)
My ideal version of the Fierce Deity as a father figure:
Speaks very little or not at all
Rarely or never has a facial expression that's not a Murder Glare
Overall just makes no attempts at all to communicate his thoughts or actions, He Will Just Do Them, for better or worse
Doesn't have a body of his own, must inhabit another in order to physically interact with the world (optional for the sake of exploring certain scenarios)
The fatherly relationship when it comes to Link/Mask is one-sided for the longest time (also optional for the sake of exploring Scenarios)
As in, from Mask's perspective this is a powerful godlike spirit who occasionally takes over his body to do things outside of battle he never asked for and is Kinda Freaked Out About It, not putting together that he's doing things like:
Getting enough sleep
Eating a balanced meal
Properly treating his wounds
Moving his campsite closer to civilization so Link can more easily visit people and doesn't completely isolate himself
Getting more supplies (stealing, he has no money or any concept of currency and nobody's arguing with an eight foot cryptid glaring at you) because Three Pie Slices Are Not Enough To Last The Week, How Did This Child Survive Before Me
The Fierce Deity makes no attempt to correct Link's misunderstanding, he doesn't see the problem, he just wants the child to REST
Thus begins years of Mask being wary and scared of the Fierce Deity mask but not getting rid of it because it's the closest he can get to feeling like an adult again, while FD and his patented murder glare is just trying to stop this kid from driving himself into an early grave
Obviously this means I'm gonna have to write this version of Fierce Dadity myself but I have bigger projects I need to get started on before I do that.

„Henry, vessel of the Fierce Deity“
A bit of a continuation of the crossover art I made a while back. But for the vibe I got inspired by Fromsoftware’s Elden Ring.
Henry became the vessel of of the Fierce Deity after he saw all the dragon tears. The mask suppresses his kind nature and bolsters his physical strength and instincts. He mercilessly strikes down Bokoblins, Moblins, Lizalfos, Lynels and the fearsome gloom hands.

You're probably the first to ask him
He's a literal god
But he also loves you and is willing to try things with you
So of course he agrees to try it
He's not nervous but a little confused when you guys start out mostly because you haven't done this with him before
He likes it, though!
Fierce ends up loving pegging
He'll ask you himself if you go too long without filling him

Turns as red as possible and sputters
"What?!"
He probably needs reassurance first.
Tell him you love him no matter what
But he will absolutely try it he's just worried he'll do bad, and you'll hate him (he's wrong, of course)
He adjusts after a minute or two and decides he really likes pegging
He won't brag about it, but if he were the bragging type... well.
He definitely wants to do it again

He dosen’t feel particularly strong either way until you ask him.
The idea of YOU pegging him? Sign him the fuck up.
IF applicable He'll look into getting you a custom harness to peg him more comfortably
He adores being pegged.
He definitely asks you about incorporating this more often

He gets blushy and also probably has to ask for clarification on what pegging is
He's a little hesitant, mostly because he doesn't want to disappoint you.
But once you try it, he's Hooked. Capital H and all.
Definitely gets whiney for you

All it takes is one thrust to break his bratty attitude. It just flips him into full on subspace.

He went to Knight Academy, he definitely has a good knowledge of sex, kinks, and positions. Locker room talk took its toll.
He takes to pegging like a champ, but he gets squirmy because he just can't stay still
Sky 100% asks for this to happen again and again
IF you're okay with him bragging about you he tells people how good you are to him.

He was probably trying to figure out how to ask you to be honest
He agrees readily and is ready to try it as soon as possible.
He's so good for you, tell him he's pretty and takes you so well
He'll happily bottom for you anytime

He goes red but asks what you expect of him when you do peg him
He just wants to please
He doesn't think he'll enjoy it too much
He is WRONG
Twilight likes it more than he expected and even tells you so

He was probably going to ask you
He just wants to be taken care of
He agrees happily and asks if you'd be willing to do this more often
He's so pretty for you

He hadn't considered it really but he'll try most things once
He's anxious but most because he hasn't been pegged before

The Fierce Deity, being the blacksmith of the Gods, forged not only his great sword, Demise's Broadsword and the Goddess Sword, he also forged the Great Fairy Sword, Lokomo Sword, Koholint Sword, Magical Sword and he taught the Picori and Zauz how to forge magic imbued weapons. The Sword of the Six Sages was an attempt to replicate The Fierce Deity's work.

I’ve been playing through Skyward Sword HD and I had a thought, since Zelda is Hylia reborn and we know Ganondorf is an incarnation of Demise… what if the reason Hylia thought to become mortal was because someone else had done it before? In Majora’s Mask, we get the Fierce Deity mask which looks suspiciously like Adult Link and it acts like the transformation masks which are the remains of the dead, it’s never said why Link was Hylia’s Chosen Hero, just that he was. What if Fierce Deity went first and became the Chosen Hero and Hylia followed suit later to become the Spirit Maiden? Any thoughts?
I know absolute nothing about the Spirit Maidens, but I always figured the Fierce Deity was a god who descended to earth to fight a war or was a hero who become so powerful he became the Fierce Deity. 🤔
Either or would be really cool, but if it’s the first one that would explain Hylia’s sudden decision to make herself mortal. Someone would have done it before her. That said, I also really like the idea of the Fierce Deity being a hero who became a god because he was so powerful, especially now with the whole draconification thing that’s been revealed in TotK. Vastly different results, but overall similar outcomes.
Fierce Deity being the og hero… that’d be cool.
There was a fic I read, one where Link was looping through BotW every time he beat Ganon, and in it the Fierce Deity was described as a culmination of every Link. It exists all throughout time, because it is neither human nor god. It is an entity, one with a purpose to serve and aid in very specific points of time.
When Link went back after looping, when he woke up in the Shrine of Resurrection, the mask was there. And it was a very, “wtf” moment that was both really chilling and really cool. Link was afraid of the mask, because he could sense the power it held, and no matter how many more times he looped it would be there right by his side, waiting for the moment he used it.
I don’t remember the fic name off the top of my head; it’s probably in my archive bookmarks somewhere… but it was SOOO good.
Also.
Link turned into a very feathery dragon. Farosh was very amused. Zelda kept burning her dress in different ways every time she was freed because she wore that godawful thing for one hundred years and could not WAIT to be rid of it. My favorite one was when she tossed it into the volcano.
