Ich hab irgendwie das Gefühl, das hier kriegt nicht genug Aufmerksamkeit
Wer Leeroys Videoformate nicht kennt: Er interviewt gerne Menschen zu den unterschiedlichsten Themen. Zuletzt fiel er (mir) auf, als er eine trans Frau und einen AfD-ler in eine "Diskussion" über Trans*rechte gesteckt hat und erstaunlich schlecht moderiert und/oder Dinge (vom AfDler) eingeordnet.
In diesem Video zeigt der werte Herr Altnazi seine Erfahrung in der Wehrmacht und zum Schluss als Leibwache Hitlers zum Stauffenberg-Attentat - wahr also live dabei.
Wo ist das Problem? Naja, er ist nunmal ein Altnazi und reproduziert die Lügen, die ihnen damals eingeflößt wurden, vollkommen unreflektiert. So spricht er von einem "Angriff der Russen" (ist natürlich quatsch, die Deutschen haben angegriffen), von ausschließlicher Verteidigung und nennt Hitler immer nur "den Führer". Außerdem beschreibt er seine Faszination für Hitler, als er ihn irl getroffen hat. Widerlich, wenn mich jemand fragt. Natürlich. Klar, er ist auch als HJ-Mitglied immer indoktriniert worden. Aber er ist jetzt 100. Er hätte reflektieren können. Wenn er denn wollte.
Das schlimmste ist aber, wie Leeroy damit umgeht. Nämlich gar nicht. Er schaut zu, guckt betroffen, spricht Mitleid aus. Er tut sogar so, als würde er ihn verstehen. Was aber nicht geschieht: Eine Einordnung des Gesagten. Und da wird straight-up Nazipropaganda reproduziert. Ohne Einordnung. Weder von Leeroy direkt, noch im Nachhinein.
Und wie gut das fruchtet, sieht man in den Kommentaren und der Bewertung: 33k likes und die Top-Kommentare sind (fast) nur positiv.
Kein Wunder, dass rechtes Gedankengut in unserer gesellschaftlichen Mitte Halt findet. Schäm dich, Leeroy. Auch wenn du das hier nie sehen wirst.

Leeroy and the Shitters
Season 1, Episode 1: Humbel beginings
Finally posting on my Tumblr account after like 7+ years. I originally made this series during high school instead of doing my classwork and it's sorta taken on a life of it's own since then, spanning for 3 five-episode-long "Seasons" and a final "Season 4 Mega Episode," becoming an in-joke amongst my friends and community, and just being the first semi-big project I've ever seen through to completion (for obvious reasons but still). The comic's been finished for a good while now, but with the "YT Cut" coming out on my channel with added animation, scenes, and voice acting, I thought it'd be a good idea to finally upload the original comic somewhere other than fucking Google Slides.
Anyways, with that being said: I really hope y'all can find some enjoyment in this absolute fucking travesty of a webcomic! I'll be uploading episodes everyday, with week-long gaps between each season.
