I envy my fellow Malevolent fans who can remember all the names/key story beats/mystery elements throughout the series and connect dots conspiracy board-style. Couldn't be me. I am just along for the ride. I don't listen to this series for the detailed narrative I listen to it to hear two fucked-up idiots bicker and kill monsters and experience The Horrors. And for the sound design.

it just hit me, when we see ted's flat in the first episode and also in mom city it's. almost the exact same.

like the furniture here is the same, and even the positioning is almost exactly the same

and it's hard to see but you can see in other shots as well, his bedspread is the same with the same pillows.

like he's living here, sure, he's got his stuff on the shelves and the couch and the desk, but even after three years this is not his home. he hasn't bought anything for this place. it all came with the house. he hasn't moved the furniture. even the art on the walls is still the same black and white stock photos of landmarks. he's lived here for three years but this is not his home. this is insane.

I really, really love how, in "Absolute Power", "Evil Daniel" is without glasses. It's such a small detail, but it's so profound in the end, and it's my favorite detail about just how far away from how he usually is that he becomes.

I think my circle of followers who don't play/know tgaa is small, but I sometimes wonder what they think when I tag spoilers and it's literally just two characters standing next to each other saying "dickballs"

the way all of anders' battle dialogue in da2 sounds stressed out right to the brink of hysteria is something that can actually be so personal. it's the real healer experience. anders you're herding moths constantly trying to launch themselves at any passing bonfire with your whole chest and your whole heart and you are so valid

i can't stop thinking about how this would have been such an INCREDIBLE finale for the show if ABC didn't pick it up,, THE PARALLELS,, all of them in danger and injured at the same time!!! it's so perfect and it's going to destroy me

im sure a million people have said this but i absolutely love that none of the characters in The Last Of Us are good. Ive been playing the games recently and i adore that they completely throw the idea of good people and bad people out the window because thats just not how the world works especially in a setting like this. sure, there are people that are better than others but none of them are good or bad they are all just people trying to survive that do good things and do bad things.

It’s sooo funny to me that Mythic Quest was made by the same people as Always Sunny because they both have their different strong suits and flaws and are successful in different ways and unsuccessful in others, but I was describing the MQ backstory episodes in particular to my sister like: short film festival worthy masters of modern tragedy, pinnacle of storytelling, directing and acting, truly a perfect balance of drama with just the right amount of humour and humanity, and then I’m like from the same people who brought you:
