So so so sorry I only exist half the time. I am working on Gaz's western chapter and already have soaps scripted in a rough draft.

Got a kidney infection and beginning to find a balance between work, my other hobby, and writing. Going to do my best to get every first post done within the next three weeks before I start to pack up for moving.

Very soft. And when I say soft I mean lofty.

I mean- look at him! How can one ever resist? Especially when he gives you that look.

As much as I would love to be someone who constantly is able to create a lot of cosplay content, my exec. Dysfunction makes it impossible- but it’s also why I feel so accomplished when I am able to finish a full costume !! But on the other hand, it’s why I’m constantly improving and adding little bits to them. Bc when I do have the energy and I’m able to tackle a small amount of creation I’m able to see it all come together, albeit slowly. It’s always frustrating to trust the process but it is always worth it in the end, even if what I work on during a time of energy and focus doesn’t end up going well.

I have to remind myself of this a lot, because my internal monologue can be rather rude at times, and it most certainly does not want to trust the process and wishes it could be up to what it deems “par”. But I think reminding myself of this also reminds me of why I got into and enjoy cosplay in the first place. I like to be able to create and represent characters I love. Even when it’s a garment I haven’t sewn, it’s still something very much about the genuine love of the character that I have. It helps prevent me from becoming caught in some kind of loop, or being kept from what I believe is the most important part about it all- which may be cheesy- but it really is about having a good time, and showing love for the character.

I hope everyone can remember that about their costuming and cosplay endeavors as well, and that this also applies to any kind of creation, in a sense. Please don’t forget why you wanted to do it in the first place. Your feelings and dedication will always shine through, no matter how big or small.
