Ignota's Top Surgery Fund Commissions!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello! I am Ignota. I am a 25-year-old non-binary artist, known mostly for my pixel animations, my comics, the Godot games/interactives I've made/am making for the SCP Wiki, and TikTok videos. I recently FINALLY got my insurance to cover top surgery(I live in California, but my insurance is out of Florida)
I just found out my insurance kinda lied about my doctor being in-network. My insurance agreed to cover the top surgery itself but does not cover the surgical center I need to get it done at. I've been quoted at $2140, not including additional medical workup, prescriptions, travel, and temporary living expenses.
Tumblr media
I am trying to reach out to my insurance to see if it'll be covered, but I am about to age out of my current insurance and I am not in a position to afford new insurance. There is still a chance I can convince my insurance to cover it, but this is time-sensitive and I want to have the ABILITY to do it regardless. So, I am doing commissions now.

These descriptions are suggestions to make it a little easier, not solid outlines of what they need to look like. Feel free to bring other ideas to the table. I have worked on background illustrations and pixel animations for indie devs making games, Dungeons and Dragons character sheets, individual character pieces, and many other things in the past.
Contact me through my Email([email protected]) or my Discord(ironshears)! Alternatively, I do have a Ko-Fi if you want to support my art.

what kind of lore is Eureka working with, gimme the rundown
Well, as mentioned in a previous post, Eureka is essentially half setting-agnostic, with the intention of being able to run anything from the present day all the way back to the mid-1800s. It could do zombie apocalypse, 1930s Noir, Wild West, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Call of Cthulhu modules, Delta Green modules, SCP Foundation, Monster of the Week modules, etc.
But the other half is where the basis for supernatural player characters comes from. This half is actually heavily based on the lore of my own horror-comedy literary work, working-titled American Vampire, which follows eventful ‘life’ of an eight-hundred-year-old vampire named Yvette as she navigates life in the 1990s and 21st century after nearly a hundred years in hibernation, and finally, finally accepts and embraces her own vampirism. The lore and tone are so similar that Eureka could almost be called an American Vampire TTRPG. (But it cant be called that, the name American Vampire has already been taken by another literary work.)
Here is the lore that Eureka and American Vampire share:
the background of this lore is a normal, everyday contemporary setting. The ‘real world’, not some other planet or completely alternate universe.
There are real supernatural creatures and people, but there is no ‘masquerade’. No worldwide global conspiracy/pact binds supernatural creatures to secrecy.
There is no secret worldwide vampire government or even a vampire community, supernatural creatures cant even usually pick each other out in a crowd.
Despite there being no worldwide agreement to keep all of this a secret, belief in vampires or ghosts or werewolves or anything of the sort is still widely considered baseless superstition. This is partially because actual supernatural creatures are so incredibly rare that 95% of people will never meet one in their lifetime, and even a supernatural person may never meet another of their kind. In American Vampire there’s canonically only, like, about one-hundred vampires in the entire United States. Also, on an individual level, the vast majority of supernatural people have a pretty serious incentive to keep their own identity a secret because they, like, eat people. If they admitted that to the world then at best they would get arrested.
The other reason the existence of supernatural monsters remains widely unknown is because people who do encounter this kind of thing tend to rationalize it and find normal explanations for it. If you saw somebody with huge fangs in real life, you’d probably assume that they got them surgically done instead of assuming they’re a real vampire. In fact, Yvette in American Vampire is “out” to the world by the mid-2010s. She does almost nothing to hide her vampirism, and is even a mid-level career streamer, all with the “gimmick” that she claims to be a real vampire. People tend to think she’s just acting, or that she’s just completely delusional. Many other supernatural creatures live similar lives, working normal jobs, wearing a hat to cover up their horns or sunglasses to hide their weird eyes, and only revealing their true nature to very close friends, if anyone at all.
Monsters are magical and rarely adhere to modern scientific understanding. And most importantly, they have magical weaknesses. The most interesting thing about a monster is usually their weaknesses, and the most interesting, challenging, and fun thing about playing a monster in Eureka is trying to work around those weaknesses while keeping one’s true nature a secret, even from the other party members and their players.
Supernatural player characters in Eureka must be hidden from everyone except for the player that is playing them and the game master. You aren’t supposed to tell anyone else at the table. There are gameplay consequences for if a monster gets discovered, even by other monsters, and it usually involves a lot of Composure damage. (Composure is like an emotional HP system in Eureka, and you lose points of composure from extreme fear and/or stress. It is NOT, however, a sanity system.)
This Composure damage also affects other monsters because, like I said above, monsters eat normal people, but 99% of a monster’s friends are also going to be normal people. You may never even consider eating your buddies, but this guy would chow down on them without a second thought, he’s got to go!
Of course, you could play Eureka without this monster character lore, especially if you wanted to use it for, say, a completely contemporary murder mystery on a train where none of the mystery solvers are secretly vampires, and Eureka works perfectly fine for that, its core gameplay is designed to be able to totally stand on its own, but we have found that the possibility of any party member being something horrible in disguise can really spice up just about any mystery.
Last minute note in case it wasn’t clear: The party members that are secretly monsters are not usually opposed to the main goals of the party, they aren’t secret villains, they’re protagonists just like everybody else, and they want to solve this mystery just as badly. They just have to do it with the added risk that somebody might notice they don’t cast a shadow.

Hello! I read through the Wicked Ones rpg and really enjoyed it. Do you have any recommendations for games where you play as the bad guys? Preferably larger books.
THEME: Bad Guys
Hello friend! From monsters to villains to just plain ol’ bad dudes, let’s see what we got. I tried to stay away from one-page RPGs, but I can’t guarantee how long some of these books will be.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SLA Industries, 2nd Edition, by Nightfall Games.
In the World of Progress, the corporation SLA Industries rules all. Employing Operatives to enforce, extend and maintain their power base, SLA controls a multitude of worlds - industrial, franchise and resource - with planet Mort at its core. As Operatives execute the company’s will, new threats emerge through the cracks of the city walls, turning Downtown into a battleground.
You, the SLA Operative, are fighting for fame and fortune against a backdrop of a crumbling reality. Operatives feed the always-on televisions with a gaudy media of wall-to-wall death and dismemberment. Operative life is all about climbing the corporate ladder and earning sponsorship deals and notoriety along the way.
In SLA Industries, you’re not exactly villains, but you’re not good people either. You work for an evil corporation, in a world of evil corporations, and you’re extending their reach for a chance to climb the corporate ladder. SLA Industries is reminiscent of trad games in terms of its complexity; character creation consists of spending points to improve abilities, and you can improve some of your character abilities by introducing flaws in other areas. Because of the roots in its game design, I’d expect a longer book to read through here.
If you want to learn more about this game, you can check out the game review for it on Cannibal Halfling Games!
Seven Deadly Sirens, by Litza Bronwyn.
In this game, you play one of seven types of mermaids and roll with seven deadly sins to power your basic and special moves in order to summon ships, lure men to you, devour their hearts, and collect their treasures. Fun, flirty, indulgent, and a little chaotic, this game is perfect for a night of raucous debauchery or an afternoon of silly adventuring.
This game is definitely on the shorter side, but I really really like the idea of using seven deadly sins as your source of power. This game is Powered by the Apocalypse, so expect something interesting to happen even with every dice roll. Unlike common PbtA games, you pick from a communal list of moves to define your character, rather than picking a playbook. The core loop of this game will involve luring men off of boats, killing them and raiding the boats for treasure.
Here, there be Monsters! By Wendi Yu.
here, there, be monsters! is a rules-lite response to monster-hunting media from the monsters' point of view. It's both a love letter and a middle finger to stuff like Hellboy (and the BPRD), the SCP Foundation, the Men in Black, the World of Darkness games and the Urban Fantasy genre in general. It is an explicitly queer, antifascist and anti-capitalist game about the monstrous and the weird, in any flavor you want, not as something to be feared, but to be cherished and protected.
Play as a diverse crew of monstrous, anomalous or just generally odd beings, fighting against those who would use, abuse or even annihilate you. Create and populate your own supernatural underworld, abnormal gang and extra-dimensional haven. Hunt monster hunters! Punch nazi occultists! Eat the rich! Protect each other! Fight back! Here, there, be monsters!
This is 164 pages of monstrous fun, in which your characters are likely treated like bad guys by the society around them, even if they’re not really villainous themselves. It gives you a chance to revel in your monstrosity, with 100 pre-made character backgrounds for you to peruse. One content warning: there is quite a bit of art revolving about bodies, in various forms (this is a monster game, after all). This isn’t meant to detract from the work - in fact, it perfectly communicates the tone of the game - but it is something you should be aware of before you buy.
Blood and Sacrilege, by Tom Clark.
In a Dark Fantasy setting based on the Early Middle Ages of England (The Dark Ages), you play as a brood of vampires bent on toppling the humans’ reign over Brackenstow. Here you'll find a country ruled by mortals, with vampires lurking in the shadows of society. It wasn’t always this way though; vampires founded Brackenstow and after a hard fought war, lost it to the mortals they once enslaved.
Nearly a century after the vampires were defeated, legal rights to the kingdom are still squabbled over by the country's self-proclaimed leaders while bishops and ministers fight for their own influential positions. The vampire threat looms on the horizon… But the power vacuum left by a leaderless kingdom has taken it's toll on the stability of the land, leading to civil unrest and the more immediate danger of war.
Now, with humans on the brink of societal collapse, the vampires peer out from the dark, and the broods that have laid in wait for so many decades start to execute their long-laid plans.
This looks like a game still in the works, but it sure looks promising. As long-defeated creatures of the night, you see a chance to take back a kingdom you once owned. Forged in the Dark games are all about projects that the group has to work consistently at in order to succeed, so expect plenty to read, especially if it’s inside such an established setting.
Villainous Fucks, by Keganexe (@keganexe)
Villainous Fucks is a tabletop roleplaying game designed for 2-6 players, about doing petty crimes as The League of Villainous Fucks, and ruining the day of Superheroes and Cops alike (and truly what's the difference). Villainous Fucks runs on Spencer Campbells incredible LUMEN System, and is inspired by the best Villains across media. LUMEN is designed for quick, tactical combat, and Villainous Fucks dials it up to 11 for the best in zany comic book style action.
If you are interested in ruining the day of do-gooders in over-the-top comic book action, and if you like your combat to be satisfying and punchy, you want Villainous Fucks. Instead of skills, LUMEN uses approaches: how your character does something is more important than what exactly they do. Is your villain Brutal, Cunning or Quick? My favourite little tidbit from Villainous Fucks is the characters’ stance on Cops. Villains believe that All Cops are Bastards, and All Superheroes are Cops. If you like revelling in doing crimes, then this is absolutely worth checking out.
Games I’ve Recommended Before
Monsterhearts 2, by Avery Alder. (Teenagers with great monstrous potential)
Spire: The City Must Fall, by Rowan Rook & Decard. (You’re sympathetic terrorists, but you’re still terrorists.)
This former request that asked about playing mind flayers and similar monsters.

Welcome to the Multiverse
The rules are simple: you want to send an ask? Its either me or some blorbo of yours. Its my Multiverse but there are so many fandoms in it. Holy Shit. If you engage in RP with me specifically rember that my entire "thing" is being The Author. I sill have to figure out of what tho (you would think the Foundation would know that. Well guess fucking what.)
To let you get started, here are some of my best posts. Remember that the Ourple ones are KINDA mandatory if you want ANY background on wtf is this blog.
List of my powers / Its the end of the world as you know it (and i did it on purpose) / an admin kicked me off the island lmao / Mental Health Time / You Absolute Buffoons / The Numeron Game / Well thats a thing that happened! / Out of touch: leap yeap / 🅱️usiness / Magnus did nothing wrong, except its steven universe / welcome to the internet, SCP edition / #HALLOLLAH# / AMERICA IS FASCIST HEAVEN BECAUSE FUNNY / Lost Childhoods / please save those poor gay americans / Free Disco Elysco / Bone to the bad / Priting Wrojects / the True Range of my abilities / the fuck's an apocalypse knight anyway? / @punkitt-is-here fucked Geronimo Stilton and i think its a good thing / Alex goes batshit insane and forces everyone to do as he says... again 🙄 / Screaming in a Pattern. / wizardposting: because powerscaling needed fuckign Zeno Dragonballsuper apparently / BEN 10 BUT LANCER? FUCK YEAH! / High Geology / fantasy settings on tumblr are really fucking cool actually / RIFLE. IS. FINE. BUT YOU FUCK UP DESIGN YOU UROD. / i technically claimed ownership of Dr. Bright and Betty from glitchtale do you seriously think im NOT gonna do that for homestuck? / XenasOuch / SCP-8000 contest, OR: WHAT THE ACTUAL FUC- / LEMMINO but like, 8 years ago / Hazbin Hotel: a necessary... something i guess. / research attempt: the wizardposting wine aunt /
Below is who i am, and also the tags you can (and should) search for
Hi, name's Alex.
Born on the first ever day of 2005 and also having aspergers, i am a guy from italy trying to make it impossible for anyone to spend a day without knowing who i am. Also i literally trascend powerscaling so hard the only things that can even put a DENT on me are... decided by me. Welcome to the multiverse i guess.
DNI: people who support genocide, people who tolerate corporate bullshit, racists, and terfs.
The following list is ALL THE TAGS USED TO NAVIGATE THIS BLOG. Seriously. This masterpost is an explaiantion for the "portal hub" i placed in the search bar
Lore Post: sometimes the lore of the multiverse, sometimes my personal life.
Welcome to the multiverse: sometimes MASSIVE textpost telling everyone "oh yeah right, this dude has autism", usually me existing. tHE MAIN TAG.
Alex's Answering Machine: literally my asks
The magical workshop: turns out the wizards of tumblr are the reason the phrase "some of y'all have gotten too comfortable saying stuff without getting punched for it" exist. And its up to my autistic, protagonism-fueled low self-esteem high self-awareness ass to... fix shit up.
Belowstory: undertale but REALLY FUCKED UP: so basically frisk falls down and is greeted by a feminine voice that calls itself chara (it becomes slightly visible after getting out of the ruins) and like the good boi undertale character he is he proceeds to save the world. This entire thing exists because one time I was like "how fucked up OP can a sans be before its My Immortal levels of wtf?" And uh yeah here we are uuuuuuh sans greets you by pointing a .44 magnum at you so thank the head of the guards (papyrus) for saving you. Everyone here is broken and just wants A Fucking Break. Also you gain levels in pacifist because LOVE is Level Of VirtuE. Fuck you lmao
Undertale.exe: so I looked at Camilla Cuevas being an awful person. Then i looked at the beautiful anime that is @jakei95's underverse... then i smushed it all toghether to basically create the perfect AU. Frisk is a pansexual fuccboi that Has Game, Chara is THICC and powerful, Betty is built like a ballerina and is 1000 years old, and Asriel is a Streemur. All of them live in this house far away from the city thats literally a larger version of sans' house. All charachters can legally drink (prepare for Drunk Chara shenanigans where its Betty Glitchtale the drunk one instead) and the only one who (probably) isnt gay is Asriel (even though frisk covets the Dreemur Dong) (one day soldier, one day...). Many chatachters from many AUs sometimes come to visit cause, you know. Its a nice place.
Curseworld: massive writing project of mine which is just "adventure time shaped mass of autism". The world is cursed and fucked over, and everything is colorful. Its also part Owl House because fuck you the magic system is FUCKED here.
Internet friends: basically internet stereotype-shaped people. We have a furry thats normal, a reddit/discord mod that just wants to work in peace, and the protagonist is Just A Guy but a-ha! He has both an xbox an...d ps5 thus fucking over any CAD reference. The last sketch i made was a mr.monopoly shaped guy who really wants youngsters to actually AFFORD shit who is married to a very obvious reference to Meru the succubus. Also i 100% intend to put a gag about mr beast living in an ATM when he isnt making videos
Im looking respectfully: look. Back then tumblr was basically Rule 34 with twitter users. Now its way better at the cost of a fraction of their value. Have fun looking at attactive women!
TOH:NEXT GENERATION: not even @moringmark's comics are safe! Enjoy the adventures of ayzee commented by me... telling everyone that shes STRONG strong. Like holy shit girl inherited will much?
Warhammer 50k: listen. This is just me looking at games workshop and fucking emperors tts and going "fuck that. Heres mine". This is a project where my "shard" assegned to this universe basically copies the imperium because, and im not joking, "the emperor is kind of a baka, but then again tzeentch is a thing so...". Also btw TTS is canon as SHIT. Like fr its all canon. Yes even the shadowsun fling, let kitten rest.
Pluripotent Impotence: an scp canon of mine thats basically "the foundation is so cold and clinical they MASSIVELY misunderstood shit". 6140, 6500, 5500 and 7000 are canon. 2718 and 5000 are in the files but they basically might as well not exist. 3812 is living tech support. 166 is in her early 20s and 239 is 19 and they fuck nasty (theyre also childhood friends. Girl Love i guess~) because fuck you clef love wins especially yuri go snort telekill dust. 2317 loves humans and thins theyre cute and squishy and when its seventh child turned out to be fucking JoyBoy? Yeah get this: he DID condemn the fortune teller that was like "dude your sevent child is one of those prophecy children that are so in vogue these days" but also messed with fate so that her death ended up being the coolest and most inspiring shit ever because he was like "considering the average Evil King story, i might as well just... let this happen! Maybe i can convince my literal offspring to spare me!" And it fucking worked. Also a bunch of shit is canon. @i-am-dado looks like a Kpop star and is somft. Dr Jack bright is my character and mine alone and also elias shaw is there i guess. My OC bangs the first one of these 2 amulet boys on a regular basis and the second one occasionally, dont ask why is there a gay polycule when im straight, there are some things that escape my mind. I have been in SCP for a long time and regardless of me making my account 6/1/2024 (LA BEFANAH) i have been here longer than you believe in. From my perspective it took a year before a 5000 contest was announced, so fcuk yoyu
Earth-ℵ₀: the best way to take care of the DC and Marvel universes is... let an autistic dude fix damages done by money-hungry idiots in hollywood. The joker is unimportant. Dr.Manhattan is Done With This Shit. I made a squad with random charachters i like. Lmao suck on uranium rods UwU
ytposting: (Funkdela Catalogue: Encounter starts playing)
Omni-shit: ben 10 is actually a good series guys, and the reboot is an interesting way of showing what would Ben 10 Classic look like if it was made Now
1% enhancement: basically i look at something and go like "hey what if the charachters were basically part me but not in a Knights of the Apocalypse way"
Tumblr italia: aò sono italiano che cos'altro vi aspettate
components: basically i use tumblr as image hosting. LoL.
Items: images turned undertale items. For reference, i have 2³¹-1 HP and my stats are ATK 100000 and DEF 65535. Yes the attack is a yugioh zexal reference. NOSTALGIA IS PTSD BUT GOOD.
Mungeon Deshi: dunmeshi is a good anime and marcille is italian
Full Nelson Analchemist: if FMA exists in my presence im going to give the 20k mg weed gummy to Truth
Evangelion 4.0: look, hideki anno has gone insane. Every time he makes evangelion as the most brain damaging version of telling someone to go touch grass people inevitably miss the point. I take it upon myself to give the @jakei95 treatment to the poor creatures (also fun fact: KAWOSHIN CANON. THEY KISS ON SCREEN. FUCK YOU AMERICA.)
The hoes are stuck: homestuck. What you thought they were safe from my grasp? 人間 you havent seen sheiße.
FeeF the BeeB: minecraft mod bullsheiße
Side effects of reading this blog can vary between true insight into the inner workings of the universe and self-defenestration from the top of the burj khalifa.
[[Nothing Is Worth The Risk]]: lets just say that sometimes, the multiverse isnt that "cool and good"
Ultimate Sonic: i have a Sonic AU where... uhm... just. If i have a post about that. Just look at it. LoL.
Anyways welcome to the multiverse
Do yourself a favour and dont go out without a loaded gun.

its time to explain my persona lol
my persona is an eldritch god that can travel through universes and draw things into existence (ik its mary sue but LET ME HAVE THIS)
okay lemme explain a little. persona (i'll just call them that bcus im lazy) was made up of the code and pixels of a secret joke boss in a video game (the boss having said powers of my persona). but they never made it into the game, but combined with raw, human emotional chaos (idk why that was there) somwhere in the universe
eventually, they mushed into my persona! me, basically. nuke (the tiger) is my familiar that i summon with my tablet pen that turns into my battle axe. if my pen runs out of battery, nuke starts fading into lower frame rates and eventually disappears (he runs out of animation frames, those frames are powered by the pen)
my persona has been spotted in many worlds( my hyperfixation's worlds), they consider the characters to be part of the story, watching them for their own interest. they usually don't help out unless they're motivated by unknown reasons (me crying bcs THAT CHARACTER DID NOT DESERVE THAT) or to make the story more interesting
they can make worlds or humans/things if they wanted to. they like to tell stories and like talking to people
right now, this is how my persona is involved with my hyperfixations:
SCP : they're an scp that the O-5 council finds troublesome. humanoid scp that gets special rights because they can end the world (did i mention they can do that?). they know a lot about everyone in the foundation (bcus i read the files) they escape whenever there's already a containment breach happening and they mostly use the time to explore the facility without restriction. so far, they've had a therapy session with Dr Glass (ended with more questions and them eating the recording tape, but went well), pissed off Dr Clef and eaten one of Dr Kondraki's butterflies. they have a lot of knowledge of classified stuff. 423 mentions them being a fun story partner.
hetalia : ITS THE REAL WORLD THEY'RE ME LIVING NORMALLY
genshin : random traveler (not THE traveler) that runs around being weird (everyone hates them) stealing shit and making the archons pissed (they're a god that survived the archon war by sleeping through it in a cave, they didn't even realise the war happened lol)
ddlc : they're a background random classmate that sleeps in the back of the literature club classroom (they never interact with anyone and monika doesn't delete them) in the ending, you can't find their character file. if you ask the other club members about them here are their responses : natsuki "Oh them? they just snooze here like a lazy bum! ...but they like manga too, which is nice." yuri "...I think I take english class with them. I didn't notice they slept here afterschool. I wonder what kinds of dreams they're having." monika "you mean the student sleeping in the back? they're not important." sayori "oh, I never noticed them before! aren't they cold? we should bring a blanket for them next time!"
Demon Slayer : they're a background slayer. apparently they didn't even join the corps. they just walked out of the final selection forest and stole a kasugai crow. their weapon is a battle axe. it's unknown if it's made from nichirin or not. a lot of the corp members think they're a demon. muzan mentions them as a pest and a hinderance (they saw the blue spider flowers and went munch munch just when muzan showed up) at the end of the final battle, you can see them chilling on a boat (presumably headed back to china????) they don't speak, and they write their name in chinese.
apothecary diaries : they're in the background of all the cases maomao solves. maomao feels like there's someone watching her, but not with malicious intent. they're not a servant and dress in more northern fashion (like from ancient beijing) and they wear shorts. their silhouette can be seen in scenes with windows. it's mentioned that they visited the lotus house and visited the three princesses (but they didn't do anything and just talked a lot the entire time while talking to the princesses) granny thought they were a weirdo, looking too young to visit a brothel, but accepted it cuz they were paying a lot.
PJO : weirdo demigod that dionysus seems to find sus. participated in all of the battles (group ones with the entire camps). the rest of the camp theorises about what they are (they don't live in any of the cabins) no one know's their name. chiron doesn't know about them. during the battle for manhattan they can be seen in the background stealing things from shops. percy notices them at every one of his schools, but they don't go to classes and no one else shows recognition of their prescence.
MASHLE : a bg character that eats cream puffs. nothing else. no mentions other than always being at the cream puff bakery
inside job : everywhere, never talks, always watching
spiderverse : a rando in the spiderverse. no one know's how they got here. they seem to be pissed at miguel for some reason. they don't have a watch. they're in the chase scene but they just slowly walk as they watch everything (while eating a miguel burger).
HAZBIN : they sleep in one of the hotel's rooms. somehow, no one has noticed. they're in every group scene, usually peeking out from behind something.
helluva : they're at the doctor in s2, ep 4. just napping on one of the chairs.
harry potter : they're sleeping in the chamber of secrets. and in the room of requirement. and at the train station in the last book where dumbledore is. and flashbacks. just sleepin.
thats around it lol

Hey! I just saw that you write for Scps, so I was wondering which ones are your favourite in terms of background and personality/character and which ones who’d like to write for/are your favourite to write
As a little confession, I've actually never officially wrote for the SCP fandom!
I'm biased for anything plague doctor related so obviously SCP-049 is my favorite! (Currently reading A Raven's Hymn and HOYL SHITtT).
This is a primarily creep blog, but I definitely wouldn't mind the break to write for SCP from time to time! :] In my AU they exist in the same realm, one way or another. I'll make a post about that soon sometime, or if I don't someone can shoot me an ask.
Fun fact: I used to play SCP: Secret Lab a shit ton last year before my mic decided to stop working for that game.
But these are my top favorites (in no order ofc)
SCP-650
SCP-049
SCP-126
SCP-999
SCP-131
SCP-939
SCP-217
SCP-105
and prolly more but i don't wanna make it too compiled
And these (would probably be) my favorites to write for!
SCP-096
Dr. Clef
SCP-049
SCP-035 (primarily their relationship/past together)
SCP-3114
SCP-2521
and a few others but i've done many research
Edit: adding onto this, I will totally write for SCPs outside of these, even if it's the most niche SCP possible. I understand the hunger and I am here to provide.

About MC’s gaze and actions
I remember reading one of your post saying that MC's gaze is unsettling to those who look directly at their eyes because they feel exposed under MC's staring (it makes them think that MC knows everything about them even their secrets) and also the feeling of beeing seen as something not 'real' (since we see through MC's perspective about SCP's universe that it is a fictional world with supernatural events and beings) and their gaze also makes you question about your own existence is also another discomfort to mention.
This leads to quite a number of SCPs/beings/humans that interact with them will feel unease maybe even hostile towards MC because MC knows too much that they shouldn't have in the first place about the others.
But that don't stop MC from wanting to talk with them and sometimes to confirm if the theories about that SCP/person is true or not, they just want answers to satisfy their own curiousity (they are thrown into their favorite horror game afterall) but with an attitude that 'oh so it is like that' like knowing the answer and being quite nonchalant by it, and they will not push the topic if it brings great discomfort to the other being (I think they will not ask if the other is a young scp) nor will they use the information to backstabbing them.
Later interactions with MC will be different, these SCPs/beings/humans don’t feel uncomfortable anymore to look directly at MC because MC somehow creates a safe bubble for them to relax by just being themselves in their calmest state. They do not feel worried/paranoid if their secrets being exposed or not because MC has a certain grasp about their character by now. It can be described as ‘so they know mostly everything about me it’s no point to hide the truth’. MC doesn’t have much reaction if they know about the other’s profile anyways (with their fear resilience has maxed out, they are numb to horrific and gruesome images at this point).
MC talks and treats other SCPs as if they are a normal human being and they are having trivia conversation with no motives, no forcing information to record for later experiments…nothing. MC doesn’t care much about their backgrounds (They have no desire to research about them since they have access to all information but also they just want this to be a normal conversation between two people). The SCPs are so used to being classified as anomalies by the Foundation, something/object to be used for experimenting/containing/researching; basically not a person with all human rights. MC’s carefree actions can make them feel weirdly unexpected but it’s not hard to accept them, with time they are densified to MC’s antics. Afterwards, they see it as an endearing trait that MC has. MC is like their personal therapy ‘their happy space’ that they are always looking forward to talking with them. MC sees through them as their real character and understand their actions, they feel like they have found someone as their mutual friend.
With other human workers like scientists, guards, D class,...ect MC also likes to interact with them (if they are friendly of course) sometimes helping them around with mundane tasks, chatting, joing Dr.Bright occasionally to wreck chaos here and there..ect. They are chaotic but they can be helpful. People can’t help but being genuine around MC due to MC’s gaze (they stare right through their soul), sure MC is an anomoly but they are not really frightening in any aspects. Also, MC in your headcanon about ‘white lord and MC’ is that they are someone who is easy to talk with so this make MC a friendly and approachable person. They treat everyone they encounter with respect and enthusiasm. Everyone loves them but also feel helpless when MC chooses to be a gremlin, it’s like having a family member who always causes you a lot of headache but you still love them.
About MC’s abilities
Even though they have Mysteria to level up their skills after clearing certain scenarios, MC still feel scared or anxious if they are put in a dangerous/threatening situation, they know their abilities can save them when dangers come too close. For example ‘teleportation’ but right now they cannot control it properly and it tires them out quickly who knows if next time they will be so lucky to teleport in time. SO mostly MC just uses their 'creative' ideas =))) (maybe their luck also) to save their ass from being killed or caught. Even in the far future when their skills are max out, they are still cautious because they know that they are just a human with helpful abilities not a god who can control the whole universe, they know how to use their abilities correctly to save energy if unexpected things happen. They are not immune to physical damage either so they will most likely avoid being hit as much as possible since no one likes to get hurt.
this is the longest tumblr ask i've ever received??? thank you???!!!??

Arachis Statuary, my entry for the SCP Wiki's latest contest, RemixCon! This is a remix of 173.
I've had an idea to redesign 173 ever since the previous call for artists when the original image was removed. My idea was such a change though and with a busy schedule, I never saw that idea through. When I saw Remixcon though, I thought it was finally time to change that.
This design is inspired by that one headcanon that 173 is just playing games, and cheating at its game makes it upset, while people who can't play - those who are blind, for example - are ignored. That always gave me a more childlike impression, and I thought that'd be a fun design angle to go with. I also have many memories of walking around roadside statuaries as a kid, and thought it would be cool to expand upon 173's background by giving it a location that it came from. I also now have it steal eyes rather than snap necks, because I thought that was more on brand for the whole game around eyes. You lose the game? You lose your eyes.

SCP-XXXX: “Ava”
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is implanted with a tracking device and is currently contained at Site 17.  SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a two (2) room cell equipped with standard privileges and accessible amenities.  Subject is permitted to have books, music, and limited access to video games for entertainment purposes.  Subject’s cell must also be equipped with items for instances of SCP-XXXX-1, including species-appropriate food, toys, beds, one 12x24 terrarium,  two 36x36 cages, pee pads, and a standard litter box.  Subject is permitted to take SCP-XXXX-1 instances for “walks” around the facility twice a week while accompanied by security personnel.
SCP-XXXX must undergo routine medical and psychological assessment once a month by on-site medical personnel, and all assessment data must be reviewed by Site 17’s medical director, Dr. Lilith Villaumbrosia.  Any data or incidents that showcase improvements in SCP-XXXX’s mobility and dexterity must be reported to Dr. Villaumbrosia immediately.
SCP-XXXX is currently permitted Class 3 (Restricted) socialization with research staff and approved site personnel.  SCP-XXXX is also permitted limited socialization with other humanoid SCPs, including SCP-105, SCP-114, and SCP-191.  All interactions must be supervised by on-site security.  Applications for interaction and interview with SCP-XXXX must be submitted to Site Director Suzanne Superion with accompanying background check, performance review, and interview by the heads of security at Site 17, Agents Shannon Masters and Mary Fredrickson.
SCP-XXXX must not come into contact with dead/dying plants or animals outside of pre-approved research settings.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid female of apparent Portuguese descent whose legal name is “Ava Silva”.  Public records regarding SCP-XXXX are scarce but indicate that the Subject was born in 2001, making her 19 at time of capture.  Subject is 1.57 meters tall and 50kg in weight.  Subject is a complete quadriplegic with no sensory capacity below the neck.  Subject is partially quadriplegic with limited sensation and motor function below the neck.  Subject is paraplegic with no sensation below the waist.  Subject is partially paraplegic with limited sensation below the waist.  Subject is partially paraplegic with full sensation and limited motor function below the waist, capable of ambulating with the help of forearm crutches.  Any data or incidents that showcase improvements in SCP-XXXX’s mobility and dexterity must be reported to Medical Director Lilith Villaumbrosia immediately.
SCP-XXXX is generally polite, friendly, and cheerful.  She enjoys interviews and other interactions with site personnel, described in staff testimonies as “eager to talk” and “always in a good mood”.  Despite minimal formal education, she is highly intelligent, showing an affinity for linguistics and a talent for quickly learning new skills after watching demonstrations.
SCP-XXXX was discovered in an orphanage in [REDACTED], Spain operated and funded by the Catholic Church.  All available records report that the Subject was in a severe motor vehicle crash at the age of 7.  Subject was left quadriplegic by multiple severe spinal injuries, and her mother perished shortly after being taken to the nearest hospital.  Testimony from the Subject herself has corroborated this.  No information on the Subject’s father or other family has been found at this time.
The Foundation became aware of SCP-XXXX following a State-sanctioned investigation of the orphanage that found significant evidence of child abuse and neglect, as well as the presence of a serial killer who had murdered an unknown number of children.  Implanted operatives from MTF Iota-10, “Damn Feds”, discovered SCP-XXXX in a Church-run morgue after eliciting a confession from the suspected killer, Sister [REDACTED].  The Subject was believed to have died from an overdose of morphine, but was discovered alive and awake in the morgue before being incapacitated and transferred by the MTF.
SCP-XXXX is capable of resuscitating/resurrecting dead organisms, primarily plants and animals, via physical touch.  To date, the Subject has successfully revived one (1) black tabby cat, one (1) male Basset hound, two (2) parakeets, three (3) female rats, and two (2) male tarantula spiders.  The Subject is also capable of reviving plant life regardless of species.  These revived organisms have been categorized as SCP-XXXX-1.  SCP-XXXX-1 instances show no anomalous characteristics, but consistently demonstrate an increased draw and affection toward SCP-XXXX.  The mechanism by which SCP-XXXX revives these organisms is currently unknown, and the Subject shows only limited control over this ability with non-macroscopic life forms.  At this time, all experimentation with human subjects is strictly forbidden by Site Director Superion.
SCP-XXXX also demonstrates an ability to resurrect herself after death, and the Ethics Committee approved a proposal to test this ability.  Data from these experiments suggests that the Subject is capable of healing fatal injuries, up to and including massive head trauma, as well as revive consistently after repeated attempts of medical euthanasia.  However, each successful revival has led to improvements in SCP-XXXX’s sensory and motor functions, and she has gradually regained feeling and mobility below her neck.  Because of this, all experiments with the Subject’s regenerative ability have been discontinued until further notice.  SCP-XXXX is unaware of the nature of these experiments and is not to be given information about them under any circumstances.  Site personnel found discussing past experiments or current research efforts outside of secured lab settings will be personally terminated by Site 17’s heads of security.
Addendum 1: SCP-XXXX demonstrates no cognitohazardous effects, and despite repeated insistence from Dr. Villaumbrosia that “the goofy idiot must be doing something to make everyone around here fall over themselves”, no evidence has been found.  Instead, the Subject appears to have a natural immunity to such effects.  Experimental interactions with SCP-114 and similar cognitohazards have yielded promising results, although there are no current proposals for research with more dangerous hazards.  SCP-XXXX is currently vulnerable to amnestics, but it has been noted by Dr. Camila Mendez that each revival has made her more resistant to their effects.
Addendum 2: SCP-XXXX has had a noteworthy effect on SCP-191.  The Subject has shown a quick and thorough grasp of 191’s state, has demonstrated patience while communicating with it, and speaks in a kind and soothing manner to it.  Following these interactions, SCP-191 has demonstrated an unprecedented improvement in mood as well as the ability to remember SCP-XXXX’s name and request to see her again.  Weekly, supervised visits have been approved by Director Superion.
Addendum 3: Interaction with SCP-073 is strictly forbidden, and any encounters between the two are to be investigated and responsible personnel reprimanded and reassigned.
Addendum 4: SCP-XXXX is aware of her containment.  She is cooperative with staff and prone to making jokes, but it is imperative that all site personnel report any suspicious comments and/or behaviors to the heads of security immediately.
_______
“So,” Director Superion says, leaning back in her chair.  “You’ve read the file.  You’re up-to-date with everything we’ve tried so far.  Our research efforts have been stymied indefinitely and new developments are few and far between.  Are you still interested in taking on this project, Dr. Young?”
Beatrice absently fingers the edge of the folder containing her copy of SCP-XXXX’s file.  She then pulls her hand back and folds both in her lap, meeting the director’s gaze with one of cool certainty.  “Yes, Director Superion, this is exactly where I want to be.”
She sees the director’s lips twitch upward ever so slightly.  “Well, that settles it then.”  She stands, beckoning Beatrice to do the same, and offers her hand to shake.  “On behalf of the Foundation, Dr. Young, I welcome you to Site 17.”

One thing that really disinterested me about SCP's verse is this issue of TOO MUCH POWER. It gets to the point where it becomes boring and very dull, and ends up being left without a background behind the anomaly. You should remove your ocs from the challenge of fadom, it has already failed.
I noticed that drawings and fanfics in this field are decreasing a lot, and fadom is getting a lot worse, including the Saudi girl from 4 chan, I understand what you want to say, but another thing I want to add and in your case it may be that you are already at the stage as an adult, that's why games, fadom don't have that same shine as before, you're an adult, you have work and such, responsibilities replace that cool fadom series that you saw my advice and if it no longer has shine for you, cut ties and accept not It's brighter than before, it's part of your growth, keep it with care, and the cycles of life, but don't take out your anger and frustrations on others who can enjoy fadons and series in a polite way. The number of men and women who do not accept that things change attack all film and series productions, making fadom unsustainable. I saw the hate in The Little Mermaid, and other films that have representation, whether LGBT or physically disabled, and if you look at the profiles of these guys, they are over 30 years old. As I said, if it doesn't bring you more shine, it's time to cut ties and move on, but don't attack those who still like it or can have fun with it.

Sometimes, when the day is quiet and there is barely anyone else around, the tugging urge to open up and be vulnerable overcomes stubbornness.
AKA: A short list of scenarios where various Recreyo members care about each other/headcanons of how they would be affectionate.
Ivan listening to the others rant as he bandages up their wounds, actually making an effort to not interrupt or irritate them when they're already physically hurt.
Christian letting the others rest in his room, giving them background music on his keyboard to help lull them into sleep.
Curt deliberately staying up as everyone else falls asleep. Before he gets into bed, he makes sure that everything is shut off, and that they're all safe as well.
Den letting the others play with her (stubbier) knives to distract them from wounds/other things.
Kristine weaving together flower crowns and leaving them around the HQ to be found. It slowly turns into a game of whoever has the most, "wins."
Kristine and Christian playing music/talking together to give Den something to listen to when the souls get too much to handle.
Curt pretending to not notice his jackets go missing when they're in a particularly cold scenario.
Den, Christian, Kristine, and Curt painting nails together.
Ivan wordlessly slipping coughdrops and medicine into pockets when he notices that they're strangely quiet during a scenario.
Affectionate touches being framed as threats/violence, like:
- Ivan slapping people’s backs,
- Christian tugging on collars like he’s gonna spit in their faces,
- Kristine biting into the hands that go near her,
- Curt using a gun to lightly tap on people and guide them in directions,
- Den using the side of a knife blade to pat and reassure people
However, when they do manage to play out normal affectionate gestures, it’s very rare and only in specific settings. Sometimes after a particularly scary scenario, they find it in themselves to lay their heads on shoulders.
During the SCP arc, Kristine begins the tradition of greeting Curt with a hug every time he shows up. The others don’t follow through with it fully (Ivan does a half-hug, Christian pulls away and says “got’cha!” before they even touch, and Den just bonks her head onto his shoulder) …but it’s the closest they’ve ever been.

do you have any recommendations for crunchy games with good magic item / crafting systems? Or anything that has a between clouds or salvage union esque home base / transport design system?
Theme: Crafting/Journey Crunch
Hello friend, I did a little bit of digging and I've got a few games that hit one or the other of your requirements, and possibly a few that do both. I hope something here tickles your fancy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SCRAPS, by Cezar Capacle.
Ayera is a hopeful world built among the ruins of a long lost ancient civilization. It is a place of harmony and symbiosis, in which unimaginable flora and fauna is to be found by anyone who leaves their settlements and travels unexplored paths. You are a Scrapper, an adventurer who devotes their life to exploring the land, finding special ingredients, bringing them back to their workshops, and crafting their wondrous personal and community projects.
Scraps is a feel-good game about sharing, about harmony with nature, about bewilderment and curiosity.
This game uses polyominoes and d6s to help design things that you’ll be crafting throughout play. The entire game loop revolves around crafting - you draft a plan, gather materials in the wilderness, and then come home and craft. The game is also non-violent: your obstacles don’t require combat to bypass. It is both solo and multi-player friendly, so if you want to play this game and don’t have a good group for it, lack of other players is not an obstacle. This was the winner of the Best Solarpunk DIY game in the Applied Hope: Solarpunk & Utopias Jam, and I can see why.
Mectors, by Chubby Crow Games.
In Mectors, players take on the role of a farmer, miner, fisher, carpenter, or some other worker in a labor intensive field. Mector Owners come from all kinds of backgrounds. Some own a Mector that’s been in their family for generations. Others came across theirs recently, through purchase or luck. And a rare few have managed to piece their own together using scraps from decommissioned Mectors, but this is even harder than it sounds. No matter how they got it, they now have a powerful tool with a long history.
This game has a few elements that might fall into what you’re looking for. First is the creation of your community. This is a fairly simple process in which you decide what kinds of guilds and political forces might affect your community, the names of specific NPCs who live there, and points of interest connected to your character playbooks. The second element is the use of Scrap, a resource that can be used to improve your community or improve your Mechs. There’s not really a lot of picklists or option sets - much of what you decide will either be determined by the pre-written setting or created wholesale by your crew.
Buried Treasures, by iotsov.
Buried Treasures takes place in a dangerous setting without modern-day tech. It contains two suggested settings: Whitewater, a town surrounded by danger, and “Let Me Out” a post-apocalypse.
At the core of this Renaissance-inspired TTRPG is its recipe system. Recipes are non-magical spells, and can be anything from combat maneuvers through invention schematics to actual cooking recipes. Players are slowly eased into creating and upgrading recipes, allowing them to design unique characters. Recipes also typically become the source of greatest power – in the unlikely event that the characters survive that far into the game.
I’m not a big fan of the Whitewater setting, and I’d recommend taking some time to write a bit of your own history and world instead, if you want something more similar to fantasy. The “Let Me Out” setting includes the idea that you have a bunker from which your characters have merged, with some questions you can answer as you create your colony. From there you will adventure into a landscape that references the SCP website for encounters.
What this game does have, however, is an interesting advancement system. All of your skills are based on “recipes”, which require research and various ingredients if you are to level up your skill. These skills can be magical or non-magical, and while they affect your character’s abilities, the in-game conceit is that these abilities are granted through crafted items. Some of the details of those items are left to the character’s imagination, but if you want a game with meticulous inventory and record-keeping required, you might want to check out Buried Treasures.
Cast Away, by Afterthought Committee.
Cast Away is the definitive tabletop survival RPG. Its Diminishing Dice mechanics reflect the ever-worsening condition of survivors in the aftermath of a disaster—without tracking Hit Points or burdensome injury tables. Death is permanent, therefore, we've created a Haunting system that keeps players engaged long after their characters pass away. Cast Away contains a modular set of guidelines and is easily adapted to any setting, environment, or circumstance.
Survival games will either necessitate travel or a home base to keep yourself safe. Cast Away contains recommendations on how to facilitate role-play in hostile environments, and also makes passing reference to building shelters. If your characters are stranded, I can imagine much of the game will revolve around how they use their resources around them to stay alive. There’s very little to no mechanics for combat here - instead you have skills related to crafting, cooking, hiking, navigation and more.
The rules themselves are very simple, but I think including a pre-generated setting may help with the sensation of discovery and danger. One such setting might be Backwoods Cartography, by Backwoods Cartographer, which includes plenty of dangerous flora and fauna - although the NPC encounters might be best left for a different style of game.
Cosmos, by Neoth Games.
As a resident of the Belt you’ve seen exploitation, you’ve seen struggle, you’ve watched those around you be slowly ground into shells of their former selves. Now you’ve had enough. Its time for someone to do something.
Your crew has set out to make a difference, to be the fly striking back at the giant corporation that has seemingly set out to single-handedly ruin life in this sector of space. Struggle will not be easy, but any difference you can make counts for something.
But just remember, Oracle is watching.
Cosmos features all you need to play a game of resistance within the corporate controlled asteroid belt. Inside are all the rules, advancements, example journeys, locations, and adversaries.
In Cosmos, you’ll have a spaceship that carries you from place to place, and if you like the idea of improving a home base, this game has options for you. You can increase available space, as well as add medicine and weapons. You’ll have to maintain the hull if it sustains damage, and running out of fuel sounds like a possible problem as well. There’s also different size ships, which don’t just play into what’s available to your crew - it also shows you what kinds of craft you could end up fighting as well.
Cosmos also has Journey rules. Each Journey has an origin, a destination, linked encounters, difficulty levels, how stressful it may be, and example obstacles or events that may occur as you travel. As rebels and renegades, travel is fraught and dangerous, and it looks like the journey rules are meant to reflect that.
