You ever love a character so much that you wish you could legitimately kin them, but instead of accumulating any of their cool traits, you turn out to have one of the worst attributes you could have in common?

#so I always sit in the front #so I never realised I had any motion sickness #because I have a habit of just staring out the front window #But this recent trip I sat in the back to and from our destination #and for some reason the agony I felt going to our destination didn't make me finally decide to sit in the front #no #I sat in the back again and it got SO BAD that we had to pull over for like half an hour because I felt like I was going to throw up #everything #But I didn't throw up. And from the genderswap extra's that sentiment is canon for BOTH.#This was made prior to the translation of the Laios & Kabru & Shuro restaurant date comic and honestly I am just feeling vindicated.#I don't even know what to call this dynamic other than a situationship. There is so much going on between all of them.#Even on a purely platonic reading - the miscommunication and male yearning for friendship hurt so bad.#When we got the Big Hug scene in the epilogue arc I was whooping and hollering! Pure catharsis moment!#I also don't like hugs very much so I really felt it went Shuro ('hates being touched') went in for the bear hug.#Do not get me started on the agony of 'always lying' Kabru telling the truth (I just wanted to be friends)#and 'always believes' Laios thinking it's another lie and brushing him off.#I am once again supporting dungeon meshi day by posting art. saw a comment on youtube mention that jean jacket likely consumes its prey like a jelly fish, holding them inside of it to dissolve them slowly until their skin and bones are gone and they're just soft flesh that it can squeeze the blood out of and ingest, and honestly just that realization made me more sick than anything in the movie did
