Some call them surfers but I just call them locals, being from California lmao. This one looked really weird in the usual black and white sketch style so I colored it :> They deserve some fun in the sun.

Long form post *well kinda long mostly cause it's a mini announcement*
I'm going on an un numbered hiatus, I don't know how long or how short, whether it's for 24 hours or 24 days, I'm just going on hiatus, turning all my notifications off (except @'s just in case you need to contact Mr through here), I'm open to dm's still. It's not because of poor health or mental state, rather the opposite, I'm feeling great, and I kinda just wanna pull myself away from online and go reset myself back down to true factory settings of my brain.
Before I leave, hoping I actually don't walk off the face of the planet, I just wanna say you are all very kind hearted and nice people, every one of you, I enjoy my time spent with all of you and your interactions as well. You guys helped me through my worst year of my life by far, encouraged me to seek help and now I feel great, and I owe a lot to you guys, ya'll have a special place in my heart

The best thing about college is that people actually know what Gorillaz is and don't bully you or passively aggressively remind you how "no one is into them."
Like the year after high school I was giving a tour to a potential student and she happened to be a big fan and I practically flipped my lid. I was disappointed that she didn't want to exchange phone numbers (though tbf instantly asking for someone's number after just meeting someone can be a red flag at least in my experience).
Thankfully I have plenty of friends online and irl who are into them and their lore too. Not quite to the levels that I am but..

It's the resistant to a lot of pain meds anon, with some admittedly unsolicited but well-meaning recovery advice. Protip: if your surgery recovery involves alternating pain killers, call the doc if you are in vastly more pain on one than the other.
Don't be a dingus like me and just let it feel your whole pulse in the surgery area for several days for no real reason. π«
Oof, yeah no thanks π£ itβs hard to tell because the area essentially became open wounds again very early last night/yesterday morning & I know thatβs contributing, but having multiple painkillers in me was definitely helping the most π Iβve started writing down when Iβm taking things thanks to my momβs smarts so thatβs something to be paying attention to for sure π€ like if there are times it gets worseβ¦ oh too late friend, ya girl is always a dingus ππ

Do they treat injuries to other people differently than they treat their own wounds?
Nailah is more gentle with other's injuries, even if her gruff demeanor makes it hard to tell at times. She'll subtly change the spells she's using to suit her patient's comfort, as her default healing spell is bitterly cold, and will mumble encouragement or comforting words if she needs to.
When treating herself, it's all about efficiency and what gets her back in the fight fastest. She dislikes the attention being wounded brings her and has a bad habit of hiding just how badly she's hurt, only to slip away and treat her wounds in private.
