PomengranMints just got 400 hits! To celebrate, here’s the Artemis and Apollo redesigns that won the poll! Sorry it took awhile, but I’m really happy with how they turned out! A breakdown/explanation will be down below:

I knew I wanted to deviate from the purple skin tone they had, but I didn’t know to what. I dabbled with Apollo maybe having golden skin (because sun), but I’m kinda…sick and tired of the existing golden characters design wise lol

Instead, I decided to go monochrome! Artemis is black for the moon/night sky, while Apollo is white for light/the sun. To unify them, I gave them gold accents (which also go back to Leto). They also dip into gray tones for their outfits, to break up the black/white.

Both Apollo and Artemis have an athletic fashion style, but in slightly different directions. Artemis is more toned down/simple, while Apollo is more accessorized. And alot of Apollo’s outfits I took from Supreme so take of that what you will

so a little while back i made a post discussing how i wished stranger things had leaned more into the effect religion would have had on hawkins and the supernatural events that take place there, and especially the effect it has on will as a young gay boy in a small town in middle america in the 80s. and so i decided i wanted to write something about that :-) i honestly don’t plan to publish this one for a while, possibly not until after s5 comes out so i can include whatever we learn about the upside down, but i’m thinking it’ll be a longish oneshot 15-20k, and more self indulgent than anything else. it does feature byler, because i am who i am, but it’s more will-centric and focuses on him in relation to religion and to both el and henry. but this one is sorta on the back burner and i’ve just been chipping away at it little by little

i have very little to share with you all as most of what i have written is disjointed lines and notes as opposed to polished scenes, but this one’s fun so you can have this ✨

Sometimes I think about some of the beautiful fanart I've been given and I'm just extremely grateful and appreciative like some of you guys are taking the time out of your day to draw something wonderful for something I made that you enjoy. And that's like. Amazing. You are all extremely talented no matter who you are or what you're capable of making, it always makes my day no matter what
