As an avid reader of dark romance I have to say that your pacing and the flow of your writing is amazing. The character development is wonderful and the entire story as a whole is better than many of the published books I have read. I think if you changed a few names so as not to get dinged with copyright issues you could publish this as a dark mafia romance with the stalking and forced proximity and so many dark romance readers would be chomping at the bit to read it. Have you heard of kindle vella? Maybe in the future if you are into it that could be something you might be interested in. Is writing your chosen path because it sure seems like it.

I've heard of Kindle Vella. Thank you for the suggestion. I remember when Amazon was pushing it hard when it first came out. Do you like it/read it/write with it? I actually indie publish a series of vampire hunter novels, so I'm vaguely familiar with the ins and outs of such things.
In writing this, the fuel on the fire is definitely our love of the character John Wick (and Keanu let's be honest, haaa) and I don't know if that would translate into a standalone work with names and some circumstances changed. I'm not opposed to trying it out someday, I really appreciate the suggestion, I know some works that started as fic have really made it big, but for now I have to say the reward of the fandom and readers here has been better than any royalty check I've ever received from Amazon. I cherish you guys, truly, you're the best!!

Oh!!! I know two games I've played with a friend that have good vibes called "Beacon Pines" and "A Short Hike". The Henry Stickmin Collection is worth its price for the comedy and what story is present, and Tinykin has really endearing designs, and Secret Third Thing that comes into focus if you're aware of surroundings. Tinykin and A Short Hike have the most active input and timing for exploring 3d spaces. Have fun with your journey across games as a whole!! :D

omg the new bittersweet chapter 😭 reader is so much stronger than me, i would’ve folded as soon as he said “I’ll be your slave”. you write John so so beautifully. I know he’s a dark!John, but he still feels like John, if that makes sense. I feel like that’s probably quite difficult to do. You’re so talented, i can’t wait to see where this story goes!
