Mtmte Djd and the Empyrian suite Headcannon:

The Empyrian suite is a classical piece, one the Djd notoriously claimed as their theme song when killing people. They use it so much they hardly notice it's playing when they do.

It's a post-war piece that starts slow and solemn in the first movement, symbolic of the beginning of the uprisings and discourse. Then in the second movement builds to a stronger, more violent but still somber tone, with more dramatics, resembling the act of war. And at the end, its peak of intensity and power is the sounds of victory and the end of a horrible time.

I imagine it sounds like Vocalise by Rachmaninov (I believe?) In the beginning, moving more to Mars by Gustav Holst but mixed slightly with Vocalise still, and ending like Jupiter from Gustav Holst. Id love to write this piece fr.

Anyway, the djd abuse the hell out of this song. A song resembling the victory of a war won by the Autobots and the end of a painful era for the whole race is used by them to absolutely demolish people. Taking their freedom to a war-free life and putting them through hell in their final moments, reminding them that they should've never allowed their loss to feel like a burden was lifted.

I imagine they kill them to match the movements of the song. Maybe they start slow, drawing out the fear and tension (SPOILERS FOR MTMTE: Much like the 'sunset' threat)

Then they start the brutality and painful shit. I don't need to elaborate.

And at last in the third movement, when the victim is horribly mangled, yet still functional enough to escape, they offer them a path to freedom. Do xyz, repent for your actions, follow these commands, ect, and you can be free. They do them and feel a glimmer of hope, a slight empowerment. The inkling of victory brewing inside them.

But obviously that wasn't enough. And they play the most victorious, joyous part of the song as they finish them off, almost like mockery. "This is what could've been yours, had you been a good decepticon." A horrible feeling to hear something resembling a path to a long life of freedom and peace, all as you're being fed your own brain module.

I know, though, that that would mean the song was incredibly long. Like, 2+ hours long. But I don't know. Some classical pieces last 20 minutes or more, which still isn't enough but hey. Plus maybe with tarns sort of outlier ability he could maybe make the victim feel like they're hearing it timed to their demise and whatnot.

Lemme know your thoughts!!! I think about this song a lot and would love to write it someday, as I am a huge classical music fan and want to encapsulate the essence of a post war society.

(203) The Decepticon Justice Division is hot on the trail of a Megatron impersonator who has lately attracted a certain amount of fame for his pornographic holovids.

He's been bumped up to the top of The List because his fame is owed in part to dramatic fake overloads that are really quite obscene and make a terrible mockery of Megatron and, through him, the whole Decepticon cause.

And this reasoning is a transparent rationalisation that the wider team is letting Tarn get away with because they ALL want to see what happens when they catch up to Pegatronus and his massive tool.
