-Mostly comes out when he’s not thinking about it at all, like if you surprise him or something

-He’s a little embarrassed by it the first few times until you reassure him

-He likes being called anything, honestly! Just the fact that you have terms if endearment for him is amazing

-He does have a soft spot for sweetheart and the more sweet terms like pumpkin tho

-It makes him feel so fuzzy inside

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

-In public? Doll, sugar, sweetheart, hot stuff... typical tough guy pet names

-In private? Honey, sweetie, babe, less stereotypical and more fuzzy names

-You swear you heard him say bunny once. He denies it

-He warms up to pet names pretty quickly. He’ll probably call you the tough guy pet names before you’re even together as a tease

-The more intimate ones take a bit longer, and the first time he does it he is hyper aware of it and watching your reaction

-He doesn’t use them too often, mostly in public, honestly. He likes your name

-He likes being called love, dearest, angel (be careful w this one tho), anything that reminds him of just how much you love him

Hajime:

He wasn't really happy to go back to the hell he calls school but he sucks it up because of you. He gets to your house, wakes you up, and then gives you something he picked up at the store for you so you can eat before leaving.

He does get bullied so he was a bit nervous about going back because he thought it would happen again. But you beat the bullies asses so he doesn't have to worry ☺️

Fuyuhiko:

Bros like "what the fuck is school again? Of yeah, hell.😡" So you KNOW he isn't happy about it. It's YOU who has to get him up to go to school.

You, Peko, and Fuyuhiko walk to a store and get some food for the way and for lunch or something. (I have a feeling that he's done that thing where you like balance your chair on it's back legs and then has fell doing it)

Teruteru:

Bro brings a whole ass feast to your house for breakfast. His food wakes you up and then y'all are full while his sweet mother drives you guys to school.

When it's the end of the day, his mother drops you off at your house before leaving, but not before making sure you get into the house and the door is closed. Isn't she a sweetie 😊

you were initially a bit reluctant to ask teruteru for help when it came to cooking

you worried he'd either take the cooking too serious and scold you whenever you did something wrong or he wouldn't take it seriously at all and instead flirt with you all the time

but when you approached him and explained your situation to him – that you wanted to prepare something for your mother's birthday – he agreed to help you out, without making any flirty comments

and even when the two of you started cooking, he remained pleasant to be around, neither scolding you nor flirting with you

you quickly started to feel bad for expecting the worst from him right away and after the two of you were done cooking you not only thanked him, but also let it slip that you were surprised how calm he seemed today

when ibuki suggests to use your talent to talk to byakuya’s spirit, teruteru would almost lose his cool and release his accent (he thankfully didn’t)

and also thankfully, monokuma banned you from using your talent since it’d make the trial boring if they all just relied on you

and then post killing game i feel like he’d ask you to help him talk to his dead mom since im pretty sure its hinted that shes dead

also also omg youre his personal taste tester and i swear to shuichis baseball cap that it’s all food wars clothes-removing inducing kind of good like *chef kiss*

♡ There on that stage, there in the practice room, there in your own room, you felt so very wonderful as you danced.

♡ You felt free, truly free, as you danced. Light, delicate, untouchable as you spun and unwound your limbs, almost like a stray ribbon.

♡ Dainty…

♡ Daintiness would fade once the studio mirrors hit, once the lifting exercises came.

♡ You weren’t totally insecure, but sometimes you had days or moments where your self-image completely shattered.

♡ You’d be completely fine, dancing your heart out, allowing the flow to come to you, when you’d suddenly take a deep look around and feel…odd.

Since Teruteru is a very short 3 inches tall, it's hard for him to get to places without some help, so you installed all the platforms for Teruteru to use.

"Y/n darlin'!" Teruteru says as you walk through the door, waving his hands so you see him on the table.

"Hey Teru baby~" You smile at him and scoop him into your hands, holding him close to your face. Your hands are warm and soft like a pillow, which makes Teruteru melt instantly. "How were you while I was gone?" You ask.

But this time there a target and if you kill someone other than the target the kill won't count and you will be Executor immediately. And the target is s/o. Monokuma's Motive - DR2 Cast x Reader

When Monokuma called everyone to Jabberwock Park, everyone knew it wasn't anything good. It had been a bit since the last murder, thanks to you, and Monokuma hadn't been bothering anyone, so everything seemed to be going well.

Until he summoned the entire class to the park out of nowhere.

No one was willing to disobey him, so you all made your way there, where the bear was waiting.

"Gooood morning, my beautiful students! Now, let's get down to business! You know how this game's been going so far; you're usually allowed to kill whoever you want, however you want to do it, right? Well, I have something different planned."

You didn't like the way he said that. You exchange an anxious look with your significant other before turning back to Monokuma.

"This time, the motive I selected has a teeny-tiny bit of a twist. This time, there's a target!"

This had everyone on edge. The target could have been anyone. You and your significant other tightly take hold of each other's hands, waiting for Monokuma to reveal the target.

"And that target... is (Name)!" He shouted, pointing his left paw at you.

All color drained from your face, and your blood turned to ice. The air was filled with an agonizing silence as all heads turned to you. The others gave you looks of sympathy, and looks of fear. Your significant other was horrified.

"(Name) is the target of this brand new motive! They are the only person you are allowed to kill. If you kill anyone else, you will be immediately executed, and there won't be a class trial."

Hajime Hinata

"What?! You can't! You can't make them the target!"

"Sure can, lover boy! It's non-negotiable!"

Hajime was absolutely horrified

Why would he choose you?

Just because you were trying to keep the peace didn't mean you had to die!

But apparently, Monokuma thought otherwise

There is no way Hajime will allow this

He will never let anybody touch you ever again

He becomes a bit more aggressive towards the others and way more protective over you

He doesn't even want you to go near them

It's kind of irritating honestly

But you know that he's doing it out of love, so you suppose you can put up with it for a while

Nagito Komaeda

"Wh-What? Why (Name)? They don't deserve to die..."

Unfortunately, Monokuma didn't think so

You were the one preventing the kills, so he had to get rid of you

Instead of being hyper-focused on keeping you away from the others like Hajime, Nagito is more focused on comforting you

Being the chosen target must be terrifying, of course

So when you're out together, he holds your hand and keeps you close

When you're alone, he holds you close to his chest while he whispers gentle words into your ear

He wants you to feel safe

He feels anxious about you being around the others, but he'll let you hang out with them as long as he's with you

But he watches them like a hawk

Nagito hates seeing you scared, and he'll do whatever it takes to prevent you from dying

Kazuichi Soda

"What?! That's crazy!! Why them?!"

He's more anxious then you are, honestly

The thought of losing you has him near the edge

But he'll pull himself together and try to act strong for you

You're the one being targeted, after all

He acts like a big manly bodyguard and walks all serious and stiff while he follows you around

He's not very threatening, but it did make you laugh

Not exactly what he was going for, but he's glad that he at least helped you take your mind off the situation

Real talk though, if anyone got too close to you, he'll probably throw a wrench at their head

He doesn't want anyone to come near you

There will be some nights where he'll need you to comfort him

He hates living every day in fear of you getting killed

And he'll be there for you to lean on him too

Just be prepared for a very clingy Kazuichi

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

"What the hell?! You bastard! You can't do that!!"

Very VERY pissed

How dare that damn bear target you?!

But he breathes in and forces himself to calm down

This is about you, not him

He and Peko both follow you everywhere, giving anyone who looks at you a hard glare

He will never leave you by yourself again

One of them will always be with you

He will not hesitate to threaten someone with a gun when they approach you

Maybe it's not entirely necessary, but there is no changing his mind

Underneath all this though, Fuyuhiko is scared shitless

He hates the thought of you dying

He doesn't want to show it, since again, this is about you, not him

But he'll have to spill his guts eventually, and he'll begrudgingly accept comfort from you once he does

It actually helps him quite a bit

But for the most part, all his focus is on you

Gundham Tanaka

"You fiend! How dare you appoint my beloved companion as the next target of your twisted game?!"

Stressed out and angry at the same time

Whenever you roam around the island, he brings a bear with him

He'll do the most to keep you safe

Like Nagito, he will comfort you when you need it when you're alone

And when you're out?

BEAR.

And the Dark Devas of Destruction hiss at anyone who comes too close

And Gundham will threaten to curse them

Like Kazuichi, he will need some comforting sometimes

From the overall stress of the situation

But he and his bears will protect you, no matter what

"Hey now, this is just complete nonsense! Why would you pick (Name) as your next target?!"

Another one who is very stressed and might need some comforting

If you have to go out, he'll stick to you like glue

But most of the time, he'll want the two of you to stay in either of your cottages

He doesn't have any fighting skills, so he just wants to keep you away from everyone as best as he can

He really doesn't want you to leave, but he can't force you

Once again, he'll need some comforting

Even if he doesn't have any fighting skills, he'll go to hell and back for you

Nekomaru Nidai

"WHAT?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?! I HATE YOU!"

He's loud and passionate on the outside, but on the inside, he's terrified

He hates the idea of losing you

He's around you 24/7, inside or outside

When you're outside, he sticks close to you like a bodyguard

And when you're not outside, he's cuddling with you while you're in one of your cottages

He's not a violent person, but if anyone had any idea of hurting you, he'll bash their skull in

Nekomaru will do anything for you

Even stand between you and Monokuma while he's attacking you

But that's only a worst case scenario

The Impostor

"Absolutely despicable. How dare you choose (Name) as your target? Truly disgusting."

Underneath his snobby, salty exterior, he is incredibly anxious

But he won't let it show

Instead, he'll act as your bodyguard and protect you

He ends up hardening himself and becoming more distant because of the sheer anxiety he's feeling

Soon, he'll break down and spill his feelings

He doesn't feel strong enough to protect you

But a gentle handholding followed by a hug is enough to make these thoughts dissolve

He's still never letting you out of his sight though

The others can eat shit and die, but you're not allowed to leave him

Your leader commands it

Izuru Kamakura

"You disgust me."

His expression darkens and he glares daggers into Monokuma

Honestly, you were more worried about him than you were about your situation

After that, he's quickly dragging you to your cottage

At first, he sort of stands in front of the door, not doing or saying anything

Then he sits down on the bed and pulls you into his lap without saying a word

His silence speaks volumes, though

The way he holds you close to him tells you that he will slaughter anyone who gets too close

He has the talents, and he will get it done

Ain't no way he's letting you out of his sight

If you ask to leave, he'll stand in front of your door and stare you down with no expression

But eventually, he'll begrudgingly let you leave as long as he's with you

He holds your hand and glares at anyone who's nearby as he does so, though

He detests Junko for this, and he'll take care of her once he gets the chance

Chiaki Nanami

"What? Why?"

She's a little shocked

Imagine the surprised pikachu face here

She has no idea what she can do

She expected for Monokuma to choose her as the target, not you

She doesn't have any fighting skills whatsoever, so all she can do is cling onto you while you walk outside together

But whenever she can, she stays in with you and plays video games with you

Another one who will need some comforting

Sometimes she'll cling onto your arm and bury her face into your shoulder, lightly shaking

And you'll pull her into your side and hug her while she grips your shirt

Another thing she worries about is the secret about who she was

It feels like a knot in her stomach

She knows she has to tell you eventually

"Wh-What?! Why?! (Name) d-doesn't d-d-deserve to d-die!!"

She starts bawling right there on the spot

You'll have to lead her back to your cottage and calm her down

After calming her down, she'll start following you everywhere, glaring at anyone who looks at you the wrong way

If anyone dares to approach you, she'll punch their lights out

You'll have to calm her down a lot, and pull her away from a lot of fights

She has an even shorter fuse this time around, and she's more than ready to throw hands

As aggressive as she is, she really is worried about you

And she really doesn't want anything to happen to you

She'll also comfort you when you need it

Alongside glaring at anyone nearby, she holds your hand while she walks with you

Give it a squeeze, and she quickly calms down once she gets angry

She may also enlist Nekomaru's help in keeping you safe, but for the most part, she wants to do the job on her own

The only ones she can truly trust are you and herself

Hiyoko Saionji

"Hey! You jerk! You can't make them the target! You just can't!!"

Then she starts angry-bawling right there on the spot

From then on, she has to be by your side 24/7

She'll cling to you and she'll never let you go

Sometimes she'll make you pick her up and carry her around

She spouts insults at your other classmates, and you have to leave before she says something that might get you killed for real

Under the surface, she's terrified, and will also need to be comforted sometimes

But she'll do the same for you

She never really knows what to say to comfort you, but she shares her candy with you while she clutches onto you, hoping that's enough

Inside or out, she's stuck to you

She's horrified at the thought of losing you

Mahiru Koizumi

"What the hell?! Why would you make them the target?!"

She goes off on Monokuma, but quickly realizes that yelling will get her nowhere

She wants to spend most of her time inside with you, and will try and convince you to stay inside with her

It's safer for you, after all

But when you're out, she holds your hand and gives a dirty look to anyone who might be a threat

Which is pretty much everyone, particularly the guys

She gives comfort to you as well, and it's the only thing she really knows how to do

You can catch her looking down at the ground, sweating a little bit

She is very anxious

Give her hand a squeeze and she'll give you a small smile and calm down a bit

It helps, but she has no idea what she's gonna do about the situation

In the end, however, she'll do whatever she can to keep you safe

Ibuki Mioda

"Huh?! That's bonkers! You can't just go and randomly pick (Name)!"

Oh, it wasn't random

Monokuma deliberately wanted you gone

Her bright and energetic demeanor changes, and she tends to be much quieter and more distant

She tries to keep up her energy for you, but it feels way too forced

She mostly tries to distract herself from the situation, and comes up with fun things for you to do together

She also clings onto you while you're out together, and even more when you're inside

She really doesn't want you to leave the inside, and she clings onto you like a koala while trying to convince you to stay

"Don't go, (Name)! We can have fun here!"

But if you need to get some fresh air or stretch your legs, she'll let you leave as long as she can join you

She's terrified of the future, but she tries not to think about it too much

Sonia Nevermind

"What?! Why (Name)?! Oh... God damn you, bear!"

She's angry at first, but it doesn't last long

Her anger is replaced by complete and utter fear

When you go back to your cottage, she jumps on you and hugs you

She starts having a panic attack right there

You calm her down and assure her you'll be all right

Then you lead her inside the cottage and cuddle with her

Now whenever you go outside together, she'll link arms with you and keep an eye on anyone nearby

Kazuichi's probably gonna be the one to kill you-

She is very anxious about the situation, and she dreads what might happen in the future

She doesn't want to doubt her friends, but she may not have a choice

"Truly despicable. How dare you paint a target on my young master's back?"

She's angry and anxious, but she doesn't want to show it

She wants to be strong for you

Any time you guys are out, she keeps one hand on her sword

She is fully prepared to slice someone's head open

She prefers to stay inside your cottage with you though

Whenever you need some support, she'll give you some cuddles

And she might need some too

She doesn't want to appear weak, so she doesn't talk about her worries at first

But once she does, she'll accept comfort from you

...What? What? No. Not you. Anyone but you. He can’t believe he let this happen. There must’ve been something he could’ve done. Maybe he should’ve spent more time with you. Listened more closely to what you said. He could’ve prevented this. He’s lost for days. It takes someone else snapping at him for him to even begin to come out of his desolate haze. He finds himself angrier than he’s ever been when he finally does snap out of it. He may still blame himself, but the real reason you died was because of this game. He’ll put an end to it. For you.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu

Guilt ridden. He immediately and irreversibly blames himself, even if it’s obvious that it wasn’t. There was obviously something he could’ve done to save you, some sort of sign of what you were about to do, and he didn’t see it. He doesn’t care if you did it to save others, Fuyuhiko is incredibly selfish when it comes to people he cares about, and he’s convinced that this was not the best option. He becomes even more angry than he was before, but he’s somehow also softer than before. He’s not as explosive, not as ready to fight with others. He’s closed off and distant, and anyone who tries to get close will only get empty threats. Anyone who tries to comfort him will regret ever talking to him. He’ll never forgive himself.

Gundham Tanaka

He thinks everyone is lying to him when he first hears. He has to actually see your body in order to realize the severity of the situation, and even then he still expects you to pop up and laugh at how shocked he looks. He struggles to keep his tears back as he realizes that you’re actually gone. He keeps up a frail facade to everyone else, but it’s obvious how broken he is. His eyebags get darker and darker, he loses more of his unique mannerisms and keeps to himself even more. He deludes himself into thinking that someone else killed you, and will lash out at everyone until it’s finally confirmed that you killed yourself, where he finally breaks down in open sobs. He’ll keep to himself more, but soon others will see he has a newfound energy to avenge your memory by stopping this cursed games.

Kazuichi Souda

Completely and utterly broken. He just can’t understand why you did this. Even after hearing why, or reading a note you may have left, having others explain it to him, he just can’t grasp it. He has a hard time coming to terms with it. He’s slightly convinced that you’ll just wake up and tell him you’re joking. He blames himself heavily. Maybe if he had spent more time with you, you would’ve felt like you could trust him enough to talk about this. You two could’ve figured out another option, he’s convinced. He’s lost all energy he’s had in himself, and others have to drag him out of his room in order to get him to go anywhere. The only way he’ll gain any type of energy back is if someone convinces him you would want him to keep on living. Even still, he’s quieter and more distant, even if his light hearted personality stays in place.

Nagito Komaeda

Nagito is... lost. You were his one ray of light in this place, and you’re gone. How is he supposed to keep going? He’s convinced that it’s his fault. He rambles for too long to anybody who will listen. Talking about how he shouldn’t have gotten close to you, how he knew this would happen, how selfish he is for allowing himself to grasp at happiness when he knew what happens when he allows himself that. And now you’re gone. You let him feel hopeful about living again. He can’t sleep. He doesn’t eat. Others will see him as more irritable and more prone to lashing out during trials; he doesn’t try to keep up his cheerful shtick for as long as he usually does. He throws himself full throttle into manipulating the trials and everyone around him. If there was anything you would’ve wanted, it would be for hope to perspire, right? Right?

Nekomaru Nidai

He won’t hide his his surface level grief. He’ll openly shed tears when he finds out about your death, and even more when he finds out how. He still keeps strong for the sake of others, only fully breaking down in private, but he’s not shy to grieving for you in front of people. He needs time before he’ll be able to comfort others. He’ll grow distant for a while, and to others it’ll just seem like he’s deep in thought. He wonders if he could’ve saved you if he had done something different, but it’ll take a lot to get that confession out of him. He bottles up a lot of those guilty thoughts, but he still tries to find motivation in your death to keep going. He knows it’s what you would’ve wanted. He’s broken. You were such a sweet and comforting soul, and you... chose this? He can’t help but feel angry after it really sets in. You left him. You left him in this goddamn trials and you knew that you were one of the only people he really trusted. He’s not really angry at you, he could never be, but he doesn’t know how else to handle his grief. His flaunting facade is poor after your death, the others can clearly see just how badly he’s taking this. He only really talks if someone talks to him first, and even then it takes him a second to zone back into reality. He’s an easy target, and, unfortunately, probably will be meeting you again quite soon. Whether it be by someone else’s hand or his own.

Byakuya Twogami

The most he’ll show in front of others is a tear rolling down his cheek, and he struggles to keep his composure. He’ll hastily wipe it away and snap back into his persona. He can’t find it in himself to insult you or belittle your death as some may expect Togami to, but no one pays much mind to it. In private, he’s a mess. He can’t keep his sobs from ripping through, but the only indicator of this is that his eyebags are growing darker. He’ll be quieter and more solemn for a while, but if asked, he won’t admit any grief. He may let it slip to Hajime that he feels responsible, but that’s as far as it’ll go. He’ll never forget you, and never forgive Monokuma for what he’s forced you to do.

✯ His attraction towards you physically comes from you're openness when it comes from things like gender and the such. He considers that form of openness to be desirable in somebody, as he himself is not afraid to indulge in things considered feminine. Whatever you want to do: whichever way you combine femininity and masculinity to create something neutral, he would be more than willing to go along with it and partake.

For a time he was so lost in concentration as to forget the sleepiness in his eyes. He had noted with his professional thought process that the pancakes are rising later than they usual do, which is something that doesn't matter, it's literally just an observation to keep his mind going.

Now, as he flips them with that same dramatic flare (no one is even looking), he had no time to hear you entering the kitchen from behind him.

"Smells good," you said aloud, yawning. "Thank you."

His words were picked up even though they were quiet. "Good morning, sleeping beauty."

When you say good morning back, he looks at you right as you glance his way. You notice the blush forming on his face that wasn't there before and it makes you laugh. All you said was good morning.

✯ He be cooking you breakfast everyday like there's no way he isn't waking up early just to send you off with the first meal of the day.

✯ Omg the two of you can do skincare routines together. Pink facemasks and him painting your nails.

✯ He knows a lot about being feminine from his sister, who is like peak femininity. Growing up being an older figure to her meant learning how to braid hair and to add at least 3 coats of polish to make sure the coloring doesn't flake off easy.

✯ He does your laundry sometimes and it's always fun to see what clothes you have. He likes doing laundry for this main reason.

✯ When he introduces you as his boyfriend / partner all his friends are like yep that makes sense.

Gundham Tanaka

✯ He does things for the sake of aesthetic rather than for the sake of gender. His love for painting his nails (and the smeared remnants on his thighs and palm) comes from the rockers he saw on the big screen. His earrings are from his mother's side, and his eyeliner is from the drug store. Everything he has he has worked for, and now that the two of you are living together, he can steal a bunch of your shit and use it as his own. Excellent.

A section of the jacket, right on the inside where the side of his thigh is, has embroidery of your name. His shoes have your signature on them as well, and it was then that he realized the feelings he feels towards you is love. There seems no possibility of anything else, especially considering the fact that it's an unrecognizable feeling; something new [and nowhere near something bad] He woke up Tuesday morning to feed the animals, leaving you in the bed (your feet were hanging out from the blanket so he covered them before he left). He shushes the dogs and makes sure the clanking of the many hooves isn't loud enough to carry to the bedroom. "What would you do?" He asks the goat as he scratches under its chin. Your voice comes from behind him. "About what?" "Nothing..." "I just thought," you smile, "you mentioned something about love." He grunts, but to you it sounds more like a hum. Did he really say those things out loud?

✯ He loves opening his trench coat as you hug him and just swallowing you inside of it.

✯ He's gonna completely fluster himself through calling you things like "my lord" or "my treasure", "my mystique".

✯ If you have spare necklaces or bracelets then he'll wear those (ah and imagine him with kandi on... PLUR on, brother).

✯ He also loves being able to say boyfriend. That shit makes him all flustered. "That's my boyfriend." giggling and twirling his hair between his fingers.

Kazuichi Souda

✯ He used mixed gender norms as a means of getting more popular. Introducing the fact that he has a boyfriend now (meaning accepting no hoes) he can visibly enjoy his appearance and the ways he's constructed it. He'll dye his hair whatever color you want, he'll let you braid strands of it and keep them that way for however long they last. His appearance is way more flexible than it was before and this is mainly because he sees how fluid you are. He also just generally wants to match with you but.

Bothering him while he works is so easy, and it's so fun. You like sitting on the edge of the car after he lifts the lid. You give him a sympathetic smile as you brush his hair from his face, his mess of pink hair everywhere after he takes off his beanies. "You look so good today." His grumbles come from a place of shyness rather than a place of annoyance. He hates (loves) it when you touch him. "Yeah, yeah, don't you have work to do?" You chuckle at him, lifting your shirt to wipe your face, him staring at your chest while grinding his teeth. You meet his eyes when you pull it back down. "I'll come see you after I finish. I know you'll miss me."

✯ The two of you are like pencil liner vs. liquid liner.

✯ He steals your fashion sense.

✯ His way of flirting is slinging his jacket around your shoulders and refusing to let you give it back. It's yours now until no it's not (now, how long does it take before he wants it back?).

✯ Whenever he talks to you it'll be hard to make eye-contact because he'll just be examining your outfit. It's something he does subconsciously.

✯ When he goes in for a hug he wraps his arm around your chest and holds his head against your sternum. It makes him come off as vulnerable (because he is).

He was super vocal about his excitement twords your ultimate. Knowing that you both have different methods, you both train Akane and she loves you both sm. After Nekomaru got hit my monokuma's and was sent to the hospital, you both made sure he was happy and comfortable even though it was booming like he normally was. And in the fun house it was you who comforted Akane. After the simulation you both became closer until his time was up.
