My opinions about “Fate the Winx Saga” season 2 (MANY SPOILERS!)

If you haven’t seen it yet and want to experience it fully by yourselves, don’t read any further!

- Without any doubt, this season is even better than the first one. Such an emotional rollercoaster with many surprises and great villains. I loved all of the old and new characters and how these episodes deepened their bonds. It took some time for me to get used to the new actors of Rosalind and Ben - the original ones will always have a special place in my heart, but they did a good job with recasting, I think.

- I have loved Abigail as Bloom since the first episode, but I’m glad she got so many opportunities to shine here.

- I didn’t especially like Skloom in the original animation, but they have stolen my heart in Fate, specifically during this season (episodes two and seven, my beloved).

- I was both anxious and excited about seeing Flora, but I was pleasantly surprised. She is a badass, fits into group so well, and I like how her and Terra got closer and kind of sorted out their disagreements.

- Everyone’s storylines and struggles were good and relatable (especially Bloom’s, Sky’s and Musa’s), but Terra’s took the first place for me for multiple reasons.

- Stella’s and Riven’s character-developments are definitely also worth mentioning.

- My emotions about Dane have been conflicted this season, but I’m happy where we left with him, that the situation with Riven and him seems to be somewhat okay now and he has a chance to real happiness.

- I love Sam as a character, feel really bad for him and want him to find happiness, but Samusa never really was “it” for me (and it’s not just because I have had a soft spot for Rivusa since my childhood).

- When it comes to Rivusa, I really enjoyed their scenes together and can’t wait to see more of them.

- Musa is still my favorite Winx altogether, even though I adore all of them.

- Aisha deserves everything beautiful and good in this world, dammit!

- I’m thrilled how much Silva-content we got this season.

- Transformations and magic in general were done great.

- A good nod to Trix, I must say.

- That ending scene got me so emotional it was almost ridiculous.

Aaand the downsides...

- Farah will always be the headmistress of Alfea to me and many, many others. The scenes we got with her, and her one last valuable lesson, were touching and I’m thankful for them, but she deserved so much more. There was an amazing build up of Golden Trio in season 1, and it was all thrown to waste. My Silrah-heart had so much hope and now it’s broken. And yes... I cried my eyes out. But when it’s all said and done... I just wanna thank Eve Best for portraying Farah so marvelously (and read loads of Silrah/Golden Trio-fanfics).

- Even though Andreas was very... questionable, I’m sad that there were so few scenes between him, Sky and Silva.

- Stellatrix belongs to my “had so much hope”-department and well ... </3

Such a great season, and a heartbreaking cliffhanger. We gotta get season 3, as soon as possible.

Maybe with time, their wings weren't the only thing they lost. Fairies are magical beings after all and they might have looked more otherworldly than just shiny eyes and wings.

Ligth fairies with skin that glowed, under any ligth, a eternal glittering complexion that went with their powers. Their image naturally flickering whith the light, like a mirage.

Earth fairies with leaves growing in their hair, flowers on their cheeks and eternal earth under their nails. A flora of their own. How they seemed to mold themselves to the woods, becoming part of the ecosystem.

Fire fairies with their hair on fire, eternally burning in the ends. Some occasional smoke coming out of their noses, indicating that their powers weren't just external, they were burning inside too. Burned footprints behind them.

Water fairies with skin that not only seemed always wet, but also that the water seemed to be eternally running. A natural river over flesh. Did you noticed how they seemed to connect themselves with the water so well they almost became part of it?

Air fairies with static hair, lightning scars all over their body and seemingly endless electrical feeling in their touch. Always in favor of the wind, their words a ever going echo.

Mind fairies are tricky tho. Humans fear them the most because they look the most like them. But do not let appearances fool you, look for the signs. The colorful eyes that seem to stare into your soul and all of your past lives, the silky mouth saying what you want to hear, the memory loss after. The way all of them always seem to be on edge. Lost stares into nothing. Their silence ( mind fairies are light on their feet, quiet, noiseless). They might look the most like a human, but they act the least like one. They know too much, hear too much, see too much, feel too much.

And of course, all of them have wings. Butterfly, dragonfly, moth, anything. Fragile and breathtaking, lightning up when they use their powers in great scales.

( they have a wildness in them too, all of them. Too magical to be anything other than free)

They done canceled Fate.

It wasn't a great show. To me, it was an alright show that had some good things: Fucking Stellatrix. Rivusa. Aisha and Grey. Terra and Kat. FUCKING FLORA.

She should have been apart of it from the beginning. Now we don't get to see her transformation or Musa's.

Brian Young and any other potential showrunner: Respect the source material. Fans of canon make up a grand portion of the viewership and criticism

It's not a fanfic and such but I imagined it and wrote it for myself, and I want to share it here!

It's a ftws story I've been working on since last year, I've been trying to draw some stuff but I'm TERRIBLE at it and good with words, it's not part of "The Golden War" (since TgW is some kind of spin-off of the main story of ftws), but if it focuses on the children of the protagonists, I explain the plot better:

The story focuses on the children of the couples:

Sky x Bloom

Stella x Beatrix

Gray x Aisha

Riven x Musa

Helia x Flora

and Kat x Terra

Basically the protagonists. The story would take place in the middle of an internal conflict of Sky and Bloom's daughter, Marion, who in desperation to try to see her mother, who has been missing since she was three years old, steals a sacred relic belonging to Stella and Beatrix's daughter, Sanya, and opens a tear in space-time towards the year 2020, when Rosalind reappears from the shadows, and takes control of Alfea.

So, afraid of what could happen to their friend, Talássa (Aisha and Grey), Cadenza (Musa and Riven), Breezy (Flora and Helia) and Magnolia (Terra and Kat) leave for the same tear that Marion opened, with the concern of what could happen to the timeline and to Marion herself.

I have half of this story ready in my head, as it takes place just before the start and in Season Two.

“Are you shitting my dick???” Terra yelled, her face bright red as Stella grimaced. “I’m sorry this is so short notice but with Aisha and Roxy out due to the flu, someone needs to fill in for Mrs. Philadelphia. And well.. you know her lines the best.”

Mostly because Roxy never learned them, Terra thought bitterly before shaking her head and sighing deeply.

“Okay fine. I’ll do it. Fuck.” Stella gave her a apologetic smile and it was only because they were such good friends that Terra didn’t lose her mind on her.

The dirty blonde haired girl took a deep breath as she left the green room, making her way into the warehouse. She sat down on one of the various chairs that was laying around, her heart pounding in her ears.

She was a technician for a reason, so she didn’t get dragged into situations like this. She was shy and not a actor in any way!

“Baby?” She heard, and she looked up to see Kat standing in the doorway, a concerned look on her face. “Hi.” Terra mumbled and Kat walked closer until she right beside her.

“Hi. I heard you’re panicking a bit.” Which okay, was true but Jesus did Stella have to send her girlfriend after her like a child wrangler?

But then again, she was sulking in the warehouse like a child because she was being asked to go onstage rather than staying in her safe spot.

“I’m not panicking.” Terra said quietly and Kat raised an eyebrow. “You are literally rubbing your knuckles together right now. You only do that when you’re panicking love.”

Why on earth, did Kat have to know her so well, Terra thought to herself.

Terra grimaced as she looked down at the ground, her cheeks heating up in embarrassment. “Okay maybe I’m panicking a bit. I’m a techie. Not an actor. I’m not a stage person. I do backstage stuff for a reason.”

Kat rolled her eyes affectionately. “You, my pretty girl,” she said, cupping Terra’s cheeks before leaning in and kissing her chastely, “are an amazing member of the running crew, a wonderful lighting technician and amazing human who is going to kick ass as an actor tonight.”

Terra sighed, her green eyes meeting Kat’s blue ones. Her girlfriend smiled at her, all soft and proud and almost immediately Terra felt like maybe she actually could do this.

“You’re going to do great sweetheart.” Kat said, kissing Terra again, this time longer. Terra pouted when they pulled apart, before blushing. “Thank you.” She murmured and Kat grinned at her.

“No problem. Besides I hear Mrs. Philadelphia has quite the sexy costume hm? Something about a corset top?” Terra gaped at Kat, her cheeks heating up again, as Kat began to laugh.

“I’m going to kill Stella-”

Just because I haven't seen anything like this yet

Fate X Pjo AU

( not really a AU, I'll just share wich cabins I think they would be in)

Bloom: Hephaestus Cabin. Not just because of her fire powers, but also because she shows a very big interest in vintage stuff, in the first episode we can even see her sort of fixing a lamp? And also because she is very smart, a very common trait between a inventor God's kids. Having the main character being a demigod of a not sooo famous God is also nice.

Sky: Zeus cabin. I considered Athena's cabin too, but I think our golden boy is more fitting in the king of gods lineage. I think that it not only fits his story as a whole, but he sometimes reminded me of Jason, so... yeah Zeus cabin for him.

Aisha: Poseidon. Another one I considered putting in the Athena one, but for me her connection with the water is more prominent than her need to be the smartest one. How she relaxes while swimming, how despite being the most level headed she's a very explosive person too. A calm sea capable of great storms.

Stella: Apollo. The girl searching for perfection being the daughter of the God most related to perfection itself? It can't get better than this. Also her ligth powers that are so connected to her story and personality. Also, I personally think she is a ray of sunshine when she allows herself to be.

Terra and Flora: Demeter. Do I need to say more? Like, where else would I put those plant loving girls? Their sweetness and empathy only make this decision more obvious. Sam is there too.

Musa: Aphrodite. It only makes sense. Her connection whith emotions are a power fitting for a love goddess daughter and it also makes sense with her story. A girl expected to never be in a fight wanting nothing but prove everyone else wrong? Very cabin 10 of her.

Riven: Hermes. I almost put him in the Ares cabin but now I feel like it would have been a mistake. This boy's intelligence is bigger than his need for a fight and I don't see him as someone who thrives in violence and war. He has a witty personality, street smarts and how can we forget he is a "proper delinquent "? Hermes cabin all over.

Beatrix: Zeus. Lightning powers? Power hunger? A very troubled mind? A Zeus kid trough and trough.

Dane: I decided that he is one of the kids who are yet to be chosen, partially because i just couldn't fit him anywhere, partially because i think it suits him.

Kat: Artemis hunter.

I liked every other couple in season 2 more than Bloom & Sky. I did not care about them at all. We went from their first kiss (after she drugged him) in Season 1 to us not seeing months of their development.

"You mean more to me than anything in the world." Uh...okay. That is teenage love though.

Had they given more episodes and just more of everything, to begin with, I probably would have cared more.

Perhaps the amount of episodes is saving them more money and allowing them to be renewed again.
