Initial thoughts on Fate: the winx saga [SPOILERS]

Things I liked:

- RIVUSA BABYYYY

- felt more like OG Winx club, can’t explain

- more friendship scenes

- more magic and lore

- sky and bloom were cute too (wildest dreams ah ah ah)

- terra gay

- Stella and Beatrix friendship (and possible romance??)

- Aisha getting an actual storyline, even if it was mostly romance based

- FLORAAA

- Sebastian VALTOR?

- possible Marion and oretel?

Things I didn’t like:

- Beatrix dying, wasted potential

- Musa rejecting her fairy magic. Don’t get me wrong, I love that she’s doing specialist training, but I hoped her storyline would be more about learning to embrace both roles

- that weird thing with riven and flora, glad it didn’t last long

- Andreas/Saul/sky storyline felt a little lazy

- edit: WHAT THE HELL WAS UP WITH TERRAS CLOTHES IN THE BANQUET EPISODE. Literally why do they always put her in the most drab lifeless clothes let our girl be sexy (Eliot salt looks amazing in all her press outfits)

A quick, sweet drabble after the events we don’t want to talk about (though I understand why they happened). I’m sure we all want a bit of comfort/normalcy. This is as much a crack fic as a comfort fic, so let it make you laugh and smile as much as it did me (I took the easy way out 😂)

Dream a Little Dream of Me

You woke suddenly, heart pounding, visions of resurrection plants and a faint purple mist still flashing behind your eyes.

Farah, you thought, panic crawling up your throat, and oh gods what if—

And then the warm body next to you shifted, stretching on her pillow as she moved closer to you, long blonde hair tickling your shoulder, and you could have wept for how real it all was.

“Darling?” Farah murmured, voice thick with sleep. “Alright? I thought I heard a noise.”

“Yeah,” you said on an exhale, and relished in how you could press a kiss to her forehead and she was warm. “Yeah, alright. Just a weird dream.”

“Mm,” she mumbled, eyes still closed. “Weird good or weird bad?”

“Weird bad.” You shook your head a little to clear the visions like cobwebs. “But it doesn’t matter. It was nonsense.”

She hummed again, and made a home for her head against your shoulder. “Well, dream of something good this time.”

Her matter of fact tone made you chuckle — how easy everything was when you were half asleep.

“You’re right,” you said, and reached for her hand to kiss the ring you’d placed there. “I was silly to dream of something bad.”

She made a little noise of agreement, barely conscious anymore, and with that you let yourself close your eyes again, banishing all thoughts except for those of Farah and sleep and love.
