Okay, so, I wasn't going to scream into the uncaring void of the internet about this but I gotta. A lot of people have been dunking on Dr. Seward about the August 19th entry, and especially about the phrase, "These infantesimal distinctions between man and man are too paltry for an Omnipotent Being. How these madmen give themselves away! The real God taketh heed lest a sparrow fall. But the God created from human vanity sees no difference between an eagle and a sparrow. Oh, if men only knew!" But when I was first reading the book, this was one of my favorite quotes, and frankly it's not as about Seward as everyone is making it. It's a reference to Matthew 10:29, which says "are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's knowledge." (NIV) It is right in the middle of a passage about Jesus appointing his disciples and giving them both encouragement and instruction for the persecution they will face when they follow him, and you won't believe what is written only a few verses before in 24-26: "The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for students to be like their teachers, and servants like their masters. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household! So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. "
So here we have Jesus telling his disciples not to fear the servants of Beezlebul, or the devil, because they are no greater than the devil himself, and really the devil's not such a big gun compared to God himself, who the disciples follow.
In 'Dracula,' we have Renfield serving his master who is Dracula, in similar authority structure to the devil, but he is also not to be feared in comparison to the power of the forces of good, and the verses after that even discuss the fate of evil which (spoilers) forshadows the end of the book and the character Dracula himself. If you ask me, using a scripture passage to foreshadow your entire book in such a subtle way is honestly just BRILLIANT and I love it.
Moreover, the particular verse he chose to actually reference helps to highlight the differences between Dracula (an embodiment of men's evil) and God. Seward is not bragging that he is in charge, or miffed that Renfield does not treat him as such, he is noticing a change in behavior, as Renfield often WOULD defer to him as a higher authority in the past. Seward is not illogical to think this is because Renfield has come to believe there is an even higher authority to appeal to, and is not wrong when he says that a human higher authority makes no distinction between men. Dracula does not care if someone is a lunatic, a beloved lady, or a lawyer, they are all prey to him, and he will use them to his own ends. Similarly men whose ultimate goal is to benefit themselves and make a "god" of thier own interests stop seeing others as individuals, but as means to an end. This is in direct contrast to the God who sees every sparrow that falls, and who seeks a personal relationship and to foster personal relationships between those who follow him. This is a trait shared by the crew of light in the book. They have a father in Van Helsing, brothers and sisters, and husband and wife in each other, and all love each other so deeply and tenderly, just as God cares for the sparrows, and so much more for his own people. Meanwhile Dracula has slaves he must bend to his will. He has the brides, who obviously don't even like him much. Dracula, in choosing to selfishly disregard the feelings of those he considers prey has made himself thoroughly and completely alone, and that is what makes evil so weak.
Maybe it is just Seward being arrogant, but in my understanding of the allusion, it's an expert highlight of the difference between good and evil, light and dark, selfishness and love, distance and relationship, the contrast of which is a central theme of the whole book. For let us not forget that Dracula was once a man, a man who has been twisted into the opposite of everything humanity was supposed to be, and that is what makes him so very horrific.
(Also just read Matthew 10. The whole thing lines up very well and it's super cool. Way to go Mr. Stoker.)

Levi to Mikasa - Rivamika though the seasons in Mikasa’s POV
This post is completely focused on Mikasa’s character. Some details will be ignored because they aren’t related to her.
When we say that Rivamika has the biggest relationship development, we’re not wrong. They both changed their opinions about each other during the story, especially Mikasa. Today, we’ll see how she went from hating Levi to asking for his help, with the all phases between.
| First stage: “I hate you” | Season 1 |
Probably you guys already know how their relationship started: exactly, not in a good way. They first meet in the trial when Eren was on trial; after our Titan Boy started to shout at everyone there, Levi beated him really well poor Eren. Obviously Mikasa wasn’t happy of her brother getting clobbered by a shorty and she was ready to intervene. Fortunately, Armin was there to stop her, so she just settled for staring him angrily.
Notice that: EMA met Levi before the trial two times: When Levi saved them from the titan who was about to eat them, and in Levi’s introducing chapter, where he did his first apparition as “Humanity’s strongest soldier”. There is a panel which shows EMA admiring Levi from afar, and their expressions are completely amazed. The man Mikasa considered an hero, beated roughly her brother. She must have felt really disappointed, and maybe also betrayed: the man who saved her friends and her from death, showed himself to be an asshole (sorry for my language ) This gave another meaning to Mikasa’s grudge against him, which is closer to her as a character than the one everybody knows (since it’s related to Eren)
This stage of hate continue until the Battle against the Female Titan (chap. 30), where Mikasa and Levi team up to rescue Eren from Annie. Mikasa loses her mind but fortunately, Levi is ready to intervene. Mikasa isn’t really friendly, instead she blames Levi for what happened to her brother. He recognizes her and address her as “Eren’s friend” lol. Now, take a look to this panel.

Mikasa’s face, it seems like she felt uncomfortable after Levi’s stare, or maybe, she’s wondering what Levi’s glare means. Honestly, I’m still wondering the meaning of the zoom in Mikasa’s eyes. Personally, this is the best among their interactions; their faces, their reactions on what the other says, hits hard, really hard. It makes me sad to know that many ignored this moment. This fandom really lacks attention with details.
Anyway, Levi gives Mikasa instructions on how to proceed, and in the beginning she seems to agree, but then she decides to do things her own way so she attacks Annie. Unfortunately, her reckless move makes her risk her own life. Here Levi saves her for the first time, and he end up breaking his ankle. When they recover Eren, Levi makes her understand that her actions have consequences, and they aren’t pleasing. This is the first time Mikasa develops thanks to Levi: she understands how much selfish she was and she acknowledged her error.
| Second stage: “I respect you” | Season 2 |
Their next, and only, interaction in season 2 is when Levi tells her to protect Eren and to not be reckless. This is the first time Mikasa addresses him as “captain”, showing that she respects him as a superior.
Another thing here very important for Mikasa’s character development is when she accepted that it was her fault for Levi’s injury and she takes responsibility for her reckless actions. She understood that what she did was wrong, indipendentally from her grudge against Levi.
Plus Levi’s cute and jealous scene.
| Third stage: “We’re a team” | Season 3 |
Season 3 is Rivamika season: from the introduction of the Ackerman Clan, to their interactions, to everything. In the first part, we see them team up and fight to rescue Eren again and Historia. They work perfectly together; there’s a lot of chemistry between them and they seem to be connected with thier body and thoughts, so much that Mikasa becomes Levi’s right hand; she’s always next to him, here to help him. One of our precious interactions is when Mikasa says sorry to him in her own way, asking him “How’s your leg?”. It’s a big development in their relationship; Mikasa doesn’t feels resentment against Levi anymore, she feels guilty for his injury, and it’s the first time that she says sorry to someone ;) I think 
Notice that: Mikasa changes when she’s with Levi: she’s more independent, freer than how she’s with Eren. That’s why I think that Levi is perfect for her, because with him we see the real Mikasa. What Eren tells to her in 138, to be free, is what Mikasa was in S3 with Levi.
When they talked under the moonlight my romantic heart about the Ackerman Clan, after they discovered Kenny’s surname, Mikasa shared her past with Levi, telling him how their parents felt in love and got married (WOWE PARTICULAR SHE SAID IT TO LEVI, REALLY STRANGE AND QUESTIONABLE-), but they had to hide in the mountains because of the Ackerman persecutions. In Rivamika relationship, Ackertalk is the symbol of their deep trust, Mikasa spontaneously shared her past with Levi, and similarity, when they acknowledge that they share an important moment in their life, the awakening of their Ackerpower.
I think that Levi has already understood how many things they share. Probably Mikasa not, but it’s not too late ;) I think that now that she has the possibility to spend more time with Levi, she’ll understand their similarities.
Now, the fire of their relationship: Ackerbowl. Many says that it has destroyed their relationship development, but I don’t think so. Levi had to choose between his best friend, Erwin, someone very important to him, and Armin, someone very important to Mikasa and Eren. If Levi would have won, saving Erwin, Mikasa would have lost. They both didn’t enjoy to fight against each other, but there’s a moment in your life when you have to define your priorities. Mikasa asked to Levi to give her the serum “politely”, she said “Please give it to me”, which means that hurting Levi wasn’t part of her plans. She respected and trusted that shorty, and things haven’t changed.
| Fourth stage: ??? | Season 4 |
I don’t know if it’s due the lack of interactions or everything, but I really can’t define what they are right now. They seem to have passed the 3th stage, but they haven’t reached the 4th stage yet. Hmm... what I can say about this season is that Mikasa seems to feel comfortable with Levi to start a physical contact (Never happened), and to ask for his help. There were a lot of foreshadows during the chapter 138 so let’s hope the best for the next one.
I hope you guys like this post, it took me a bit of time but I’m happy of the results. Now I’ll start to answer to all the asks I got during these few days.

Tangled Salt Marathon - You're Kidding Me

So we’ve finally come to the last of season two’s filler episodes. Let’s see if we can knock this one out real quick. 
Summary: The front door of the mysterious seashell estate vanishes, trapping the group. They try to find another way out but find a spinning top whose magic regresses Cassandra and Lance into toddlers and Shorty into a baby.  They’ve only have an hour to find the top and reverse the effects or the changes become permanent. Unfortunately neither of Rapunzel’s or Eugene’s parenting methods keep their now childish friends on task. 
So Why Did No One Stand Watch Last Night?

They were all sleeping right next to the entrance, and after the run in with the mirror monsters, you would think that they would have taken turns standing watch.

But nope, the front door vanishes when no one was looking cause they don't have any foresight. 
A Low Budget Doesn’t Excuse Filler

Like most of season two, this is yet another episode that adds very little to the overall story. It’s slightly better than the Return of Quaid or Curses, but not by much. I put it on the same level as The Forest of No Return, as I do like the mains’ development, but there’s really no reason why such episodes exist to begin with. 
The meta reason for staying in certain places for three episodes, instead of only one or two, is because of budgetary reasons. The crew have to build new sets and models for every new location or person the cast comes across. This costs money to make, so the higher ups wanted to reuse assets. Which is understandable, but not an excuse for utilizing them poorly.  
If you need to stay in one area or have characters reappear, then you need to give story reasons for that. Ones that tie back to the overall narrative and/or the mains’ character arcs. 
The shell house and Matthews should be more important than what they are as they both have connections to the ultimate big bad of the series.Adria shouldn’t be wasted for a whole episode when she’s the only one driving the plot in season two and has limited appearances. Vardaros and its people shouldn’t be a one and done thing if you’re going to spend so much time setting them up. And there’s still one off episodes, locations, and characters who aren’t brought back and add nothing 
Not only does this make for a weaker story, it also undermines the cost saving measures that you tried to implement to begin with.

She’s totally gay, but like not really, cause this can also be interpreted as a dominatrix joke, and there’s no other real indication of her orientation outside her like smiling at her best friend/crush/sister sometimes and keeping that rose her creepy ex-boyfriend gave her.

And don't give me any bullshit excuses about Disney not letting the crew make Cassandra canonly gay/bi. 
The Owl House aired just this year, the same year as Tangled’s final season. Also Globby and Carl from Big Hero Six were both confirmed to be a couple on screen a month after this episode came out. Both shows would have been in development at the same time as Tangled was. Both would have been subject to the same regulations and restrictions while writing their stories. 
It isn’t “Disney” that stopped the storyboard artists from having Cass be a confirmed lesbian, it’s Chris and Ben, the head writers themselves, who failed to write it into the story properly, if at all. 
Chris is the one who made Raps and Cass “sisters”. Chris is the one who wouldn’t tell the crew about his ‘twists’. Chris is the one who had Cass crush on Andrew, even after he tried to kill her. Chris is the one who made Cassandra ‘straight’ and has since used gay baiting to keep her fanbase in his pocket. 
Like I am really damn sick and tired of Casspunzel stans defending Chris on twitter, when he’s the very one who sunk thier ship to begin with. I’m also really fed up with certain fans trying to bully others for not accepting their “Cass is a lesbian” headcanons as fact because what the storyboarders say on twitter after the show is over with isn’t gospel and isn’t real rep. 
I don’t care if you ship Cass with Raps or headcanon her as being gay. Ships and headcanons are great and can be a lot of fun. But fuck you if you ever try to shame people for not sharing your ships/headcanons. Not only is it biophobic and acephobic to insist that there’s only ever a binary option when it comes to orientation and shipping, but it also reinforces harmful stereotypes and tropes about people in the queer community. 
Like, yes, I personally may be an introverted angry bitch who’s an LBGTQA member and activist, but that doesn’t mean that every introverted bitchy woman in media is a lesbian. What kind of message does that send people when that’s the only character archetype that’s given representation or is loudly proclaimed as ‘gay’ by the wider audience? Fuck that noise! 
I Know Humor is Subjective but...WHY?

Why did we give the baby a beard? How does that logically work? Did anyone outside of the crew actually find this funny? 
TTS has like this one out of touch dude throwing out jokes that don’t really land with the target audience. Fans have called it ‘boomer humor’ but it’s actually ‘Gen-X’ humor. Not only because Chris and Ben are Gen Xers but because this is the type of crap my older brother would find hilarious. 
Gen Xers are between Boomers and Millennials and so their humor is this weird blend of gross out shock humor, ironic nihilism, and out of date stereotypes that are only mildly better than those of the previous generation before them. They’re the generation who gave us Beavis and Butthead, South Park, and Clerks. 
That’s not a criticism of Gen X as a generation, but rather just an acknowledgment that they’re worlds away from the neo-dada absurdism, more socially conscious, and globalized humor of Gen Z.    
So Why Is the Bad Guy Telling the Heroes How to Foil His Plans?

Like he not only tells them how to fix their problem and how long they got in order to do so, but he also informs them how it happened in the first place. This goes directly against his plans. Had he simply said nothing and stayed out sight, then Raps and Eugene would have been lost for the full hour and most likely not have saved everyone on time. 
I like to headcanon that Mathews is just “that asshole” that loves to taunt and tease but in a that manner that gives him plausible deniability. He also may just be bored, since he’s a ghost trapped in one place all the time. Yet that still doesn’t change the fact that he shot himself in the foot here. 
Raps and Young Cass’s Relationship Is the Same as Raps and Adult Cass’s, and That Is a Problem.

Condescending, manipulative, hypocritical, and bossy is the way Rapunzel treats everyone. She doesn’t understand the actual difference between a child and an adult. She only understands who she who she can and can’t boss  around. And those people that she can’t place under her thumb are labeled antagonists by the show. 
Nor does she actually care about what either kid Lance or kid Cass has to say. She’s just being proformative, and young Cass can see through that BS, which why her methods do not work. It’s not because she’s not ‘strict’ enough; it’s because she’s not being honest.

Meanwhile Child Cassandra is just as combative, rude, bullying, and entitled as Adult Cassandra. In season three she regresses even further and becomes more violent than before.
Unlike Rapunzel, Cassandra wasn’t trapped in a tower for 18 years with zero human contact outside of her abuser. She escaped that fate and was raised in a loving home. That doesn’t mean that there won't be scars, but I still expect her to be more mature than her seven year old self. Just because she’s whining about not being special enough at 24 instead of screaming about the floor being lava doesn’t mean that she’s still not throwing a temper tantrum.

Like I should not be seeing a replay/foreshadowing of their main conflict here. They aren’t children. They’re dynamic isn’t that of a mother and child. It’s not even a big sister looking out for a little sister type relationship. Its two immature women dragging innocent victims into their bitchy cat fight for dominance over the other.  
If you want me to take their issues seriously then give them real stakes to disagree over, mature behavior that I can root for, and a resolvement that doesn’t reverse any potential development that they could have had.    
Matthews Plan Makes Zero Sense

For starters, half the group being kids isn’t enough of a reason for Rapunzel to stay at the shell house. Even if the effects of the time top became permanent, then Raps and Eugene could just leave and take the kids with them. Either to finish the road trip, or go straight back to Corona. Not that there’s any real reason to get the Dark Kingdom anyways, nor is there a ticking clock stopping Raps from trying again later if she chose to. 
Rapunzel also is not obligated to become anyone’s mother. If she took them back to Corona than Cap would undoubtedly raise Cassandra all over again, and Lance and Shorty could be adopted by someone else. Any of the pub thugs might take them or even perhaps the King and Queen since they missed out on raising their actual daughter. Though for my money I’d get Monty or Xavier to take them in. They seem the most mature and both are shown to be good with kids. 
Then again Rapunzel has been shown twice now to not give a damn about abandoning orphans, so even the ‘dump them at an orphanage’ or ‘leave them alone in the woods to fend for themselves’ isn’t entirely off the table either. I wish I was joking, but I’m not. Sadly, only Eugene’s love for Lance might be the one thing to stop her from doing just so, and even that’s iffy. 
As for the missing door from earlier, if that was all that was stopping them from leaving then the time top shenanigans were fully unnecessary altogether. 
I Actually Like Eugene and Rapunzel’s Conflict Here; I Just Wish It Was In a Better Episode.

Each of their viewpoints stem from their upbringing. 
Rapunzel is unique in that she was simultaneously emotionally abused and neglected while being physically spoiled. Especially once she found out that she was princess, where she was then handed nearly anything and everything she wanted. She doesn’t recognize that getting your every possible whim come true can be damaging. Nor does she have any comprehension of what living in poverty is like and how this many toys is wasteful to someone like Eugene who had so very little and stole to survive. 
She does however associate limits, boundaries, and orders with abusive behavior because she’s been denied autonomy and respect her whole life. She’s never seen what healthy parenting looks like and how rules can be applied correctly.     
To Rapunzel no orders is ‘freeing’ and ‘validation’ is all that is needed to get a child to listen to you. Which doesn’t work for her because she doesn’t understand that real communication is more than just giving a compliment now and then. 
Meanwhile Eugene lacked any sort of anchor at all. He was left to his own devices at a young age and had no one to rely on for emotional needs and, after leaving the orphanage, no one to provide physical needs either. 
It’s telling that he and Lance latched onto Quaid as the only authority figure in their life, despite Quaid never out right adopting them. He was the only sense of stability that they had who they could trust wouldn’t hurt them, despite being strict with them. 
And now that Eugene has gotten older and is reformed, he can probably understand why Quaid was so harsh on him and Lance. Quaid probably did more to try and help them turn from a life crime than even Rapunzel did. Like meeting Rapunzel was the inciting incident that inspired Eugene to make that leap, but the groundwork was already laid out for him to do so elsewhere. Things like his good communication skills, respect and empathy of others, and understanding of boundaries had to be learned from somewhere, and if not from the Sheriff of Vardaros than who? 
What I’m getting at is that, while Rapunzel rejects her parents methods but then fails to break her learned habits from them anyways, Eugene is the reverse. He’s come to embrace his mentor’s teachings, but he fails to implement them correctly because he’s not Quaid. Being authoritative isn’t his strong suit. It goes against his usual nature as the easy going person that he is and so any attempts to come across as forceful fail as they’re hollow. 
Kids know authenticity and genuineness when they see it. The children reject Rapunzel because she’s not being real with them, yet they also reject Eugene cause he’s not being honest with himself.

It’s a complex and mature conflict. Neither person is fully right nor wrong, and only by learning from each other and adopting both methods can they achieve their goal. 
TTS can be deep when it wants to be. There’s a good foundation here for mature themes and complex characterization. It’s just the series doesn’t ever commit to it. 
Whatever personal drama going on here about two young adults trying to cope with their past traumas and how that affects their current life and future goals is completely lost in the magical goofy antics and low stakes situation. Even the stuff about Eugene and his relationship with Quaid is reduced to nothing but a one off joke rather than being genuinely explored as a point of development.  
Imagine how much more powerful things would have been if Angry and Red were brought along on the trip. If this argument was over them and whether or not they should adopt the two girls themselves or consider other options. That would be something with real weight. Something with a choice that had actual consequences attached to it. Something that would permanently affect all involved parties. Something that wouldn’t make the two leads look like outright dicks for abandoning two children for a second damn time in a row.    
You Have 70 Feet of Magical, Indestructible Hair! Why Are You Afraid of a Bunch of Dogs!?

You’ve fought off giant monsters, killer robots, and supernatural beings with magical powers. What do you mean you can’t hold off a pack of guard dogs while busting down a stuck door? Why is Eugene the shield for everyone and not the actual unbreakable hair that you use as a shield all the damn time? And Why did we have to rely on Shorty again to be the deus ex machina of the episode?

At this point the writers should have just made him Demantius instead of the monkey.   
What Happened To This New Dream? Where Did It Go In Season Three?

Most fans who do enjoy season two happen to be big New Dream fans as this is by far and away the best season for them. I’ll admit that the series, up to this point, had me actively liking them together, despite being originally lukewarm to the pairing in the movie. 
Their conflicts were for the the most part mature and real. They learned from one another equally and had open communication when it didn't involve ‘marriage is a trap’ BS. Things, like compromising on differentiating future goals, honesty and communication, and making time for one another and extending effort into a relationship while being true to yourself are all relatable issues. 
Even today's episode featured the topic of having kids and parenting. Which is a discussion you absolutely need to have with your prospective spouse before entering into any long term commitments and signing any legal contracts. For real, I’ve seen marriages fall apart because they didn’t agree on whether or not they wanted children. 
I don’t know what went down between writing season two and season three, but things quickly took a sharp turn away from this dynamic and nosedived into a pit of uncomfortable bullying and gross sexist implications here after. 
Matthews Plan Goes Against Zhan Tiri’s Plan

Yeah so Matthews is one of Zhan Tiri’s disciples, but he apparently doesn’t know of her goals/plans, cause she needs Rapunzel and company to reach the moonstone, not stay stuck here. 
The meta reason for this that the Zhan Tiri’s story was altered at the last minute and the writers failed to make sure there was any sort of consistency between what they already set up and where they actually wound to actually taking the plot.  
The in universe reason is that Zhan Tiri is an impotent moron, but that’s not what the writers were going for so it’s a fail. 
Conclusion  
I like the New Dream stuff, and Matthews is at least entertaining despite being incompetent. Everything else about the episode is ‘meh’ tho.

The Lightning Thief last show
I had the luck to get tickets to see The Lightning Thief’s last performance on Broadway. Here were some highlights. Spoiler warning.
We had the highest balcony in partially obscured view, but we could see everything, including the band.
Before the show there was seagulls and wave crashing and storms playing in the background.
THE THUNDER OH MY GODS. (Hehe pun)
I knew that it came but it never failed to surprise me.
When each chapter came out for their little solo in Prologue everyone cheered.
The YANK the curtain away and Chris nyooms our and sits like a French babe. The audience goes. BALLASTIC.
He sits there and looked around.
Holy shit was that guy Percy Jackson.
He sits there for around two minutes, meanwhile the audience is still cheering wildly.
He’s almost laughing when he goes “Look...........I didn’t wanna be a half-blood.
Kristen (Annabeth) I think was Nancy Bobofit, I’m not sure, but she and James (Luke) were cuddling the ENTIRE show.
Ryan Knowles Chiron was SO GOOD.
“Their father Kronos-“ “KROOOOONOOOOS!” “Ah. Thank you... Mrs. Dodd’s.”
“He tricked Kronos-“ “KROOONOOOS!” “...into eating a rock. So what did Kronos do?” Mrs. Doods gets real close to his face. “Anyone?...Any student?”
Grover baas. Amazing. Incredible. Inspiring.
Percy sounds so heartbroken when he gets kicked out. Like I’m 6 minutes into the show and I almost start crying. It’s insane.
James as Gabe was amazing.
“Hey Percy how was school?”
“Oh it was great, I went on a field trip, fought a monster, got expelled-Ooh lunch was pretty good.”
Percy throughout the entire show plays with the end of his sweatshirt
(He’s drinking blue Gatorade)
Strong was so pretty. Jayleen was amazing.
Percy cries in the Minotaur were heartbreaking.
“Percy was that a fury?!” “YOURE THE FURRY!”
Poseidon. That’s all.
Annabeth gets wheeled in.
“You drool when you sleep.”
“Augh what happened?” (I don’t remember exactly what she says but it’s something like this:) “you passed out and your friend Grover carried you back to camp and I gave you nectar and ambrosia , but not to much or else you’ll die.” She says that very fast.
You can tell thatLuke is poisoning percys mind from the beginning.
Grover runs on in the middle of Thier Sign half sobbing going “Percy I’m so sorry I’m so sorry”
“Are you ever gonna wear pants again?” “Nope.”
“Heyyyy I’m the smartest girl you know.” Annabeth is play fighting with Luke. “You’re also the toughest girl I know.” “You think I’m tough?”
“Sexist much?” “No, I love girls-.......uh within reason.”
“Wow she’s intense.” “You think she’s intese?” “AAAAAAAAAUGH!” Clairrise bolts on stage.
Toilet paper as the toilet water.
“My dad is Poseidon?...SWEEEEEEEEEEET!”
“Luke. Hermes kids are fast-“ “actually that’s a stereotype... flibergate got it.”
The battle sequences are amazing.
“THAT SOUNDS LIKE A LINE FROM A CLOSING BROADWAY MUSICAL!”
“Not... turning him into a dolphin!”
The Campfire Song is really sweet they’re all just playing around like friends.
The Oracle is AMAZING.
Annabeth sounds so angry when Percy gets a quest.
GoodKid HOLY SHIT. He sounded so angry and sad and malcontented. It was incredible.
More Luke poison.
Killer quest was so upbeat.
She says “Six long years stuck at camp!” Instead of five because that’s how long she’s been playing Annabeth and 😭
“I’ve got mad battle strategy, my mom’ll be impressed. I’m comin on your killer QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEST!!!”
Out of context they’re speeding down the freeway getting attacked by fury’s and then BOOSH!! Red confetti rains down. I was too high up to get any.
Annabeth goddamn loses it at the nuts joke i don’t even know if it was on purpose.
Katie Garder plays The SquirrelTM.
Medusa was so cool.
“What Interesting eyes you have dear... would you mind if I took your picture?”
Annabeth fixes her hair in her knife
Meanwhile Grover keeps poking Uncle Ferdinand.
The staues hold maracas
“Well Athens got mad at Medusa so she tsudncnwkkwlslrkk.” (She starts drinking from her water bottle)
The little scene before my grand plan is so sweet.
“Since you hate me-“ “I...don’t hate you?” “Well...” Percy turned away stubbornly. “You seem to criticize me a lot.”
“Here hold it this way.” “I don’t need a new way to-oh no this is much better.”
MY GRAND PLAN OH SWEET CEREAL IT WAS AMAZING. AND YES I WILL SPEAK IN ALL CAPS TO EMPHASIZE HOW AMAZING IT WAS. HER VOCALS WERE AMAZING. GOLDEN LIGHT GLITTERS DOWN ON HER AND THE ENTIRE AUDIENCE F L I P P E D. THERE WAS APPLAUSE FOR AROUND FIVE MINUTES. IT PUT THE SHOW ON PAUSE.

Drive was nice.
Bianca diAngalo’s little cameo was awesome.
The voice in The Weirdest dream reprise was so goddamn incredible.

The Tree On The Hill was so SO heartbreaking. Jorrel Javier was sobbing.
Luke, Thalia, and Annabeth Re-enacted the battle, and Luke and Annabeth had to pull each other back and then Annabethstarted crying in Luke’s shoulder.
“You know, I dabble in music myself. You wanna hear a demo?” “Not really” “No” “Not at all-“ “IM SORRY I CANT HEAR YOU OVER MY SWEET ASS RIFFS”
And holy shit were her riffs sweet ass.
They controlled them like puppets it was amazing.

When she says “You ain’t never gonna be remembered” Annabeth shouts “no!”
HADES HAD ON A GLITTER JACKET.

Now normally Son of Posiden is my least favorite song but this was really uplifting.

“Oooookay.”
“That’s my dad?”
“That’s your dad!”
“Here mom something for your first sculpture!” She begins to open the box-“Ooohhh you see its uh, Medusa’s head.”
During The Last Day of Summer like sounds so ANGRY and it’s so sad.
Annabeth really did trick luke. (Sorry man no spoilers here)
Percy gets s t a b b e d, no scorpion just plain ol stabbed.
He wakes up
“Wise Girl?...” “Seaweed brain.” I think she cried and hugs him but from my point on view it looked like they kissed.
They were all sobbing in Bring on the Monsters, especially Jorrel Javier.
Like seriously he was going “DRivE jUst DriIiiIiVE”
Rob Rokicki came out oh my god I was crying it was amazing.
I met a good half of the cast, Kristen signed my playbill twice, oops.

Paging Mr. Werewolf
We were robbed of the Wayward spinoff, but s15 of Supernatural seems to be connecting the underpinning themes back into the main narrative. Rewatching 13.10 right now, and even from the opening scene, I can’t help but see Chuck’s hands all over the Wayward story and characters, and on s15 in some of the exact same ways. Like Chuck borrowed from an abandoned show, or in-narrative terms, an abandoned universe. The Bad Place. And I can’t help thinking of that world now as one of his abandoned drafts. The connection to that world was Kaia, and Chuck couldn’t quite figure out how to send Darth!Kaia back to her own world, or reunite her with her “dead” half.
But Claire and Kaia both are being mirrored in Eileen in s15, sometimes quite literally and directly. It breaks my heart that Eileen’s salvation has yet another casualty tied to it, in Kaia’s death and stranding in an “underworld” from which it seems there’s no hope of saving her now.
15.05, however, directly connects Wayward to Chuck’s “process” through the otherwise seemingly irrelevant-to-the-larger-narrative cold open to 13.10.
Claire shows up to rescue a kidnapped child from a pair of werewolf brothers (or at least they certainly seem like brothers) in a dilapidated and isolated cabin. The two werewolves bicker like brothers (one “playing with his food” by frightening the girl, the other chastising him for it while seemingly attending to more practical matters).
In 15.05, we know they’re werewolf brothers Chuck used as specifically as “foreshadowing” to show Sam and Dean a parable about themselves, and how Chuck intends their “story” to end. One werewolf brother kills the other. Those werewolves also lived in an isolated cabin together, but it was warm and homey, and they’d isolated themselves intentionally. They didn’t want to eat humans-- or at least one of them didn’t. The other had been humoring his brother, but then confessed that he had no intention to stop feeding on human hearts. And his brother killed him for it, and then killed himself. Because it became clear after both brothers were dead that THEY weren’t the point of this hunt, it was the supposedly innocent victim the brothers had kidnapped that was the actual danger to them.
In 13.10, Claire nearly missed the third werewolf while she was distracted untying their innocent victim, but she had just enough warning by the girl’s reaction that there was another danger in that cabin, and she easily pulls out her hidden gun and kills the third werewolf.
In 15.05, Sam and Dean never saw the true danger coming, Chuck’s “mole” in the story, that thier innocent victim was neither, and was actually Lilith acting directly and without artifice as Chuck’s Plot Device. Her goal was to destroy the one weapon they had against Chuck, and torturing them like a cat playing with a couple of mice was just gravy.
Nobody ever said Chuck was a subtle author.
In this way, though, Eileen is being paralleled to Claire. Claire wanted to hunt alone, to prove herself, to do what she could to save people and hunt things. That’s very much what Eileen had always done before becoming wrapped up in the BMoL nonsense that brought about her original death. Her communication came too late for Sam and Dean to have helped her (they only received her letter asking for sanctuary after she was killed). She’s also paralleled to Claire through Patience and her vision of the future.
Patience gave up everything-- her education, her relationship with her father, her entire life as she knew it-- to go to Jody and warn her about the vision she had of Claire’s death. Patience... is paralleled to Sam in 15.06-15.08, and his “agreement” with Eileen.
CLAIRE: If this is about me hunting alone, I know I should’ve called more, but I’m fine. I’m good! I’m safe. JODY: No, you’re not! Patience had a vision, that’s why she’s here. PATIENCE: I… I saw you die. [We see a flashback of PATIENCE’S vision. It is set in THE BAD PLACE, we see forest, a gigantic claw, a spear piercing a body and an unconscious CLAIRE in JODY’S arms.] JODY: Claire, she’s the real deal. CLAIRE: So every vision you have, it always comes true? PATIENCE: I don’t know. I’m still figuring all this out. CLAIRE: So you might be wrong. JODY: Claire this is serious, I’m trying to protect you! CLAIRE: Jody, that’s always your excuse. Every time we’d go out on a hunt together you’d take care of the monster while I’d just wait in the car. JODY: That happened one time! CLAIRE: It happened every time, Jody! You, you’ve never even seen what I can do. JODY: Claire, if I put the brakes on you it’s because you can’t go dive bombing into every fight… CLAIRE: Yes I can! That’s how you save people. Sitting back and making the perfect plan, losing time, that’s how people end up dead. JODY: And if you end up dead? [Both of them are now standing. JODY is visibly upset.] CLAIRE: I won’t. JODY: Claire, you can’t just run away from this. CLAIRE: Watch me.
Sorry for the length of this snippet, but it’s all there. Well, all except for this bit:
PATIENCE: Those monsters? They’re coming, lots of them. KAIA: They’re after me. CLAIRE: Then we should stay and fight. PATIENCE: There’s too many, they’ll kill us. CLAIRE: Maybe, maybe not. PATIENCE: Look, I gave up a lot to come here. To do what was right, to save you. You want to brush that off? You want to think I’m a fake, fine. But I’m telling you right now we’re all in danger. KAIA: Claire…
Because this is EXACTLY how I have seen Sam’s “visions” in s15. And exactly how I’ve seen his resurrection of Eileen, too. Just as Patience saw her own visions, and accounted for her own actions toward Claire. She gave up a lot to try and save Claire, and Claire... was just... dismissing that sacrifice. By the end of the episode, though, they had “reached an agreement.” Exactly like the agreement Sam and Eileen seem to have reached. Sam wasn’t being “overprotective” of Eileen, he was being reasonably protective based on everything he’d sacrificed to bring her back, and what saving her has become a symbol of to him as a result.
Eileen’s salvation isn’t his descent to the underworld, it was-- like saving Claire was for Patience-- The Illusion of Success. Claire was never the one in danger. It was Kaia all along, but Patience had an “incomplete vision,” that led her to believe that it was Claire in danger. Like Sam’s visions in s15, that seem incomplete, that only show confusing repetition of the theme of him and Dean killing each other over and over in different alternate scenarios of reality. Like Patience did in 13.10, Sam still lacks the complete picture to understand the context of what he’s seeing.
I’m looking forward to Sam’s talk with Chuck in 15.09, where he will finally understand the full context of what they’re actually up against in “Chuck’s story.”
Going back for a moment to The Illusion of Success, I’ve been thinking a lot about the meta @flyingfish1 wrote a while back (I believe the last update was during s12, actually) about The Heroine’s Journey. Because I believe with the re-incorporation of a lot of the Wayward themes into s15 that this is a structure that Supernatural has folded back into the narratives of TFW with a vengeance. Tell me this isn’t the journey all of TFW in s15, and honestly Chuck’s journey as well? And considering Chuck DIRECTLY painted crosshairs on Jody and Donna in 15.08 (apologies for the formatting, but the official transcript still isn’t posted so I’m working from my personal unfinished version, but this is the relevant bit of dialogue):
DONATELLO/CHUCK: Oh, Donatello's not here any longer. Hey, guys. It's Chuck. Prophets speak the word of God, sometimes indirectly. Sometimes they're my bluetooth. So, here's the thing. Usually, I really love our little... process. I toss something at you guys, and you slam it right back. It's fun, like tennis. With monsters. But this... Let this one go.
Or what?
CHUCK: Or I go all-powerful. Maybe not on you. Not right away. But, let's see, there's... Jody, Donna, Eileen. Pretty much everybody on your speed dial. So drop it. 'Kay?

The descent to the underworld of The Bad Place, and the descent to the underworld of Purgatory are beginning to look horrifyingly similar, yes?
Hell, and the Cage specifically with Michael’s return from the underworld, is Sam’s trial.
Purgatory and everything it represents from s8 is Dean’s trial.
Which leaves Cas... to confront his own trial, versus the Empty.
We’re going deeper and deeper through the layers here. TFW stood together in Hell, and failed. Dean and Cas will have to stand together in Purgatory (and I suspect they will fail on some level), and then Cas... I’m not going to speculate further outside of gesticulating wildly at what the logical progression of his personal arc must bring him to face.
The main thing I think it’s important to remember is that Chuck has deluded himself into thinking his story is a Hero’s Journey-- fighting the monster and returning victorious, but typically combined with a tragic loss. He’s entirely unaware of the fact that we’re not telling that story-- and HAVEN’T been telling that story-- since Amara was freed from her wrongful imprisonment. The Divine Feminine has returned to the universe to restore the balance, and this is now Her story to tell. If only Chuck will stop meddling in it and trying to make it all about him.
The goal of a Heroine’s Journey is, after all, the reintegration of the masculine and feminine, resulting in Union. The Heroine (male or female) must then fulfill the story by helping others find this balance themselves. And from the linked post about “Using the Heroine’s Journey,” the final step gives me hope that this is where Supernatural will find its ending:
“If it fits your story, this is also the time to discard your duality altogether. The heroine could reveal that it is false, arbitrary, or destructive.”
This seems to be where the narrative is pointing right now, at any rate. I wish I had enough time to address this more fully-- including Billie’s place in the story, as well as Mary’s, Rowena’s, and Amara’s. There’s just so much.

The Bold Type 3x02 "Plus It Up"
Hello friends, and welcome to the second episode of the current season of The Bold Type. While last week fell a bit flat, I’m happy to say that this episode hit every mark. It was funny, heartwarming, meaningful, and as always, well acted.
Employee of the Month
Now, Sutton’s portion of this episode was the least gripping, but heartwarming nonetheless. Oliver has some uncharacteristic absences from work, both worrying Sutton and causing her to put in more time for the magazine. Oliver isn’t sharing what has him missing work and snapping at Sutton, which worries her.
To complicate things, she’s also struggling with sharing these things with Richard. On one hand, he’s her boyfriend, so of course she wants to discuss what’s happening at work and why she’s having to stay late. On the other, she can’t forget that Richard is also part of HR. She can’t exactly vent about Oliver without revealing he’s been missing work, so she’s forced into silence.
While handling this crisis at work, Sutton also has her new move to deal with. The change from her apartment with Jane to Richard’s penthouse is pretty stark. Living in a super nice New York City penthouse isn’t what makes her uncomfortable, it’s the “perks” that come with it. Richard has a housekeeper that does his laundry (really), which is something Sutton isn’t here for.
Sutton is super relatable when discussing this uncomfortable situation with Kat and Jane. While Kat also grew up with a housekeeper and Jane admits that having one herself is something she would want if she’s successful enough, Sutton quips that not only has she never had one, but she almost WAS one herself.
(She also reveals she didn’t get the job because she failed the drug test. Never change, Sutton)
I have to admit, I’m team Sutton here. I don’t care what other people choose to do, but I would never be comfortable having a housekeeper, ESPECIALLY one that does my laundry. My mom cleaned houses when I was a kid, and I did the same for a little bit in college. I really can’t imagine hiring one myself.
Essentially, Sutton is doing two jobs at once while having exactly no time to do her laundry. Honestly, who among us. (Later on Richard ends up doing Sutton’s laundry for her, bragging that even though he had a maid as a kid he still knows how. Congrats I guess?)
Sutton does find out that the reason for Oliver’s absence is actually really heartwarming. Apparently, Oliver’s ex-boyfriend had something of a drug problem before they were together and has relapsed after thier break up. The issue is that this ex has a daughter, to whom Oliver was essentially a step-dad, and she’s now in danger of being sent to a group home since there is no one to take her. Oliver is in the midst of applying to be her legal guardian to prevent this from happening.
Not only is this super sweet, it’s an important conversation to have. As Oliver mentioned, it’s not exactly easy for a gay Black man to adopt a child. As someone who happens to work for a group home, I’m really happy that The Bold Type is approaching this subject. Here’s to hoping that they go into depth with this and don’t just leave it as a side story.
Write it Out
This episode we see Jane begin her fertility treatments, the first step in the process of freezing her eggs. The whole thing is pretty daunting: she needs to inject her medicine every day at the exact same time, visit the doctor every other day, and stay away from alcohol, carbs, and sex for 10 days.
The irony is that none of those things bother Jane too much, especially when compared to her anxiety about sharing this process with Pinstripe. After all, she tried the same thing with Ben in season two: introducing the added stress of the egg freezing process (and Ben’s not at all helpful response) is essentially what drove them apart. She’s more than happy to do all these things on her own, but our new resident Terrible Dude ruins her plan.
Patrick, said Terrible Dude, decides that it would be a great idea for Jane and Pinstripe to write an article on the process together. They’re both writers, they’re dating, and they can offer two unique views on the process. Great idea, right?
Jane definitely doesn't think so. Throughout the episode we see her anxiety at not wanting to share this process with Pinstripe, worried that this will disrupt the happiness that they’ve settled into in thier relationship. She doesn’t want to make things “heavy.” Pinstripe interprets this as Jane not wanting to open up to him, so the disruption that Jane predicted becomes a reality.
Because this is The Bold Type, the negativity doesn't stay for long. Jane realizes that Pinstripe isn’t Ben, and his willingness to support her outweighs her worry.
However, I’m afraid that they’re glossing over a pretty problematic point (say that ten times fast) of Jane’s arc this episode, which is Patrick’s complete disregard for Jane’s feelings and privacy. As a man, Patrick has no idea of the physical, emotional, and mental stress that Jane is dealing with. He completely ignores her when she’s clear about not wanting to write the article with Pinstripe. Jane’s right to discuss her own body and her own medical journey isn’t a thought. Sure, she was willing to write an article on her own, but doing so ensures that she writes it on her own terms. The article and her relationship with Pinstripe worked out in the end, but Patrick’s disregard for Jane the person at the expense of Jane the writer wasn’t lost on me.
We saw the same behavior from Patrick last week as well - he all but forced Kat to use her Blackness and her Queerness to lift up Scarlet. Now, Kat doing that is not the issue, but her choice of when and how to do so was taken away.
Patrick is also pretty rude to Jacqueline this episode - he’s insulted when he realizes that both he and Jacqueline are gunning to interview Cardi B, claiming that he needs to “up his game” since he feels that he is more on top of things than Jacqueline is. He also talks down to her later, over explaining what Rupaul’s Drag Race is with the assumption that Jacqueline is a little too out of touch to be familiar.
We do see Jacqueline put Patrick in his place later on by bringing Sasha Valor of Rupaul fame to Kat’s Queer Prom, revealing that her and Sasha are great friends and that she’s been her long time supporter. Melora Hardin deserves an Oscar for the look she gives him when he realizes that he’s underestimated her.
Raising Some Hell  
Before I start, I need to mention how good Kat (Aisha Dee) looks in this episode. Her dress? Her hair? She’s a gift.
Kat’s journey this episode is by far my favorite. She’s back to being proactive and ballsy, throwing everything she has at a Queer Prom fundraiser for a local Lesbian bar that’s in danger of shutting down. She also discovers the reason for the shutdown; the neighborhood is looking to gentrify, and that means pushing out businesses like the aforementioned Lesbian bar. Apparently there were some fines that were brought up from many years ago that the bar wasn’t aware of, and combined with late fees they need to pay over $42,000 or close.  
Here’s a definition for gentrification, just to put this into perspective:
“The process of repairing and rebuilding homes and businesses in a deteriorating area (such as an urban neighborhood) accompanied by an influx of middle-class or affluent people and that often results in the displacement of earlier, usually poorer residents.”
It’s the displacement aspect that we’re paying attention to here. The bottom line is that the influx of wealthy white people would rather live next to a Lululemon than a Lesbian bar, and by design gentrification seeks to clear neighborhoods of People of Color, Queer folks, and anyone who happens to be poor. I suggest reading a bit about this, so you should check out articles like Examining the Negative Impacts of Gentrification and 7 Reasons Why Gentrification Hurts Communities of Color.
Also, just a fun reminder that neighborhoods can and should be improved FOR the people that currently live there.
Before Kat thought of throwing a Queer Prom, she met with the local councilman to discuss options. She discovers that he’s written the bar off as a lost cause, telling Kat that unfortunately there is no way to get around paying the fine. He would love more than anything to save the bar for his constituents, but it’s just not possible.
Turns out, that councilman doesn’t actually care about the bar or his constituents. Shocker, I know. He shows up to the Queer Prom for some photos, and while talking to Kat he lets slip that the new condos they’re putting in when the bar closes wouldn’t be so bad afterall. She calls him out for attending the event and using it as a photo op to prop up the illusion that he actually cares about his neighborhood, which was amazingly satisfying to watch. During the end of the episode we see Kat searching up and coming female candidates for office, in what I hope is a bit of foreshadowing.
I’m super happy with this episode. It was uplifting, entertaining, and well executed. I can’t wait for next week!

Beautiful Crime by @icantwritegood​ (ao3) - (52,242 words) “Five years after the life-changing road trip. Things have simultaneously changed yet remained the same.”
Part two in the Road Trip series, this story is absolutely amazing. Things have gotten darker and more intense, and it’s amazing. This series has quickly risen to be one of my all time favorites and I cannot recommend it enough. The characters are incredibly vivid, the mood clearly comes through, the writing is interesting and detailed, and the plot is downright fantastic. Something about the story makes me want to create something in response to it, so as with the first part of this series, I made a playlist which I will be explaining here.

All that being said, if you haven’t read it (go do it now) DON’T READ ANY FURTHER AS EVERYTHING BELOW CONTAINS SPOILERS.
All I can say is wow. This is such an amazing follow up packed with so much amazing content and character development and I love it so much. I have agonized over how this playlist works, and I’m still not sure if it’s perfect, but I’m content with it, and I hope it feels right to everyone else. Just a heads up, the pacing is everywhere so there’s some places with some blank space and some with five songs for a smaller portion. I leave out a lot of important events and include a lot that maybe didn’t need included.
I love listening to the songs/watching the clips you link to for inspiration for your writing, and I can’t help but take note that a lot of what you listen to is of a different genre than what I typically go for. So, as a challenge for myself, I tried to include mostly softer stuff like Jaymes Young and leave out artists like Bring Me The Horizon. I really enjoyed it, but you can be the judge of how well I did. I think I am a very bad judge of what qualifies as softer stuff. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.  
1. “City In A Garden” by Fall Out Boy
This whole ep is about Chicago and how much the band loves the city, and I chose this song because a couple of the lyrics stuck out to me in relation to the story. Honestly though, my main reason for choosing this song was for the setting of the story. I live in the midwest, but I’ve never really seen the appeal of Chicago honestly. Regardless, both Shane and Fall Out Boy seem to really love the city so here we go. 
“Feel the sorrow, hit the bottle Feel the rush of having no tomorrow, yeah She said, ‘You gotta find yourself something worth holding onto’”
These lyrics capture Shane’s leftover feelings from the previous installment and how even though they haven’t seen each other in a few years, he’s still holding onto Ryan. 
“You charged me up, charged, charged me up I was something they forgot to label ‘fragile’ Now I'm stuck And you know too much, know, know too much You're the one true thing You're the one”
This pre-chorus bit changes a couple times throughout the song, and the next one is also applicable, but I chose this one because it holds a little foreshadowing. The whole “i’m stuck” and “you know too much” are all little things that could be used to hint at some conflict later in the story. The bit about being something they forgot to label “fragile” is in reference to the ending of the last fic and how it’s shaped him into who he is now.
2. “Sugar Burn” by Jaymes Young 
This song is for when they first meet up again and how they both have pretty strong feelings and also what comes next. It captures a lot of their (chaotic) relationship and how they’re both sort of unsure of what to do now that they actively have access to each other. The word “still” is used a lot in the song which I think can be used to refer to how they have this history and can’t help but reflect. 
“I tried so hard to escape you But I found out there's nowhere to run It's too easy to love and to hate you Oh my healing has only begun”
While they didn’t actively try to escape each other, Shane did leave Ryan there in an attempt to save both of them only to end up in a similar situation again. The lyric “it’s too easy to love and to hate you” is a pretty good summary for their entire relationship honestly. They both have very strong feelings for each other, but there are some definite swings in there. 
“Every night you trick me into your arms But you never stay, when I awake, no Every time I feel your false alarm And it's such a shame you were gone so long”
The bridge sums up a lot of their situation from the point they meet, but also their thoughts throughout the rest of the fic. The lyric “but you never stay” is in reference to how Shane keeps leaving in the night. “And it’s such a shame you were gone so long” sums up how they feel once they meet up again.
3. “Oceans” by Seafret 
Seafret is another one of my all time favorite artists and I’m really happy that I was able to fit one of their songs in here. This song captures a lot of the unspoken doubts that creep in as they work on rebuilding thier relationship. The whole “we don’t talk about work or anything that really matters” comes through in this song. 
“It feels like there's oceans Between me and you once again We hide our emotions Under the surface and try to pretend But it feels like there's oceans Between you and me”
Did I take the entire chorus? Yes. But does it apply? Also yes. A recurring theme throughout the entire story is how they tend to be downplaying how deep their feelings for each other are which is reflected in the lyrics “We hide our emotions / under the surface and try to pretend.” Another thing that’s affecting their relationship is the distance created by both of them being unwilling to tell the other one what they’re doing for “work” and why they’re in Chicago. 
“I want you And I always will I wish I was worth But I know you deserve You know I'd rather drown Than to go on without you But you're pulling me down”
This one is more for Shane than Ryan. Shane feels that he shouldn’t, can’t, be dragging Ryan down to where he is. He doesn’t want Ryan to end up like him, and he doesn’t want Ryan to ruin his life for him. He thinks that Ryan deserves better than him, but he can’t let him go. To be fair, that part, at least, goes both ways. 
4. “Parachute” by Jaymes Young
They’re both really frustrated with the lack of information they’re getting from each other. This same tension and doubt is carried for a while and could fit a lot of places. A big part of the reason it took me so long to finish this is because I couldn’t decide where this song, the Paramore song, and the As It Is song should go in relation to each other. I’m still not sure if they are in the best place, but I think it’s alright. 
“I see your skin turn red When you lie If you don't want to tell me nothing Then you can go straight to hell Now I'm gonna tell you something: You fucked this up yourself”
Personally, I think this best fits with the moment Ryan decides that the next time Shane leaves, he’s following. He is so fed up with all of the communication issues between them, and just really wants to know what’s going on. The last line is in there because he’s adament that Shane just needs to stop and (somewhat fairly) blames his manipulation and hiding things for everything going down. I could pull out more lyrics, but they all support the same point.
5. “Playing God” by Paramore 
This is one I threw in relatively late and struggled a lot to decide where it belongs. This song brings in a lot of the doubts and how they definitely need to be voiced, and how perhaps voicing them in such a straightforward way is necessary but not great. I mainly chose this song to fit with the scene where Ryan sneaks out after Shane to see what he’s doing. 
“Well, maybe you should tie me up So I don't go where you don't want me”
In reference to how Ryan literally goes where Shane doesn’t want him. I’m pretty sure he at some point mentions that if Shane really doesn’t want him to check things out for himself, he’ll have to tie him up. However, I may be wrong about that and I’ve just thought about it a lot, I can’t quite remember. 
“This is the last second chance I'm half as good as it gets I'm on both sides of the fence Without a hint of regret I'll hold you to it”
How they’re both so. angry. at each other, but despite it all really don’t want to break everything. These are mostly from Ryan in my opinion. The whole “this is the last second chance” is in reference to how Ryan is so frustrated with the choices that Shane is making. The rest could go for both and how they both don’t want to be each other's weakness, but also don’t want to leave the other. 
6. “Silence (Pretending’s So Comfortable)” by As It Is 
It’s confrontation time. This song gives a much more calm feel than any confrontation that every occurs between the two of them, but it fits with the way they’ve been dealing with stuff. 
“I breathe nervous and slow Well you're desperate for air My eyes sink to the floor Yours go bounce down the stair In my tears you know I meant all I said As every elegant word I said sinks in again [Chorus] The silence tells us all we need to know (need to know) Pretending's so comfortable But I have to go for the last time”
This is a hefty chunk of the song, but it all goes to prove the same point. In this song, Shane is “I” and Ryan is the person he’s talking to. Shane can’t stop killing, Ryan can’t let him get away with it. Ryan wants him to stop if only for the sake of what they have, in order to keep what they have Shane has to keep doing it. Quite the stalemate. The whole mood of the song fits pretty well as well. They both want to address it, but it’s not exactly easy to confront the issue so there’s a lot of silence and building and making everything worse. 
“We won't just talk at all, we'll just wonder would we still swallow glass for each other“
Have they majorly fucked things up? Yes. But are the feelings still there? Well they really wish they weren’t, but guess what buddy. It’s not that easy. Things are really rough right now and things would be much easier if they could figure out how to just talk it out. 
“As I stand to the moment Your four walls full of fear”
(bonus lyric! how fun!) They’re going to fuck shit up for each other. Shane will do anything to literally murder Ryan. Ryan will do anything to put Shane behind bars for the rest of his life/get him sentenced to the death penalty. Things are not great. They need to go to couples counselling. 
7. “Far Too Young to Die” by Panic! At The Disco 
This song is for the scene(s) with the press release and what happens after. They are both so fixated on each other that they can barely think of anything else which is reflected well in this song. I mostly chose it for the mood and sound of it, but lyrically it’s pretty nice too. Now that I’m actually looking at the analysis, it doesn't fit quite as well as I had originally thought, but the theme is there.
“I've never so adored you I'm twisting allegories now I want to complicate you Don't let me do this to myself I'm chasing roller coasters I've got to have you closer now Endless romantic stories You never could control me”
This relates to how they are both really struggling to hold onto this enmity because they’re both. so. enamoured. with. each. other. It also comes into play in the conversation between the two of them at the courthouse where Ryan is pretty much falling apart because it’s too much. However, if you look at it like the song is from Shane’s point of view (which was my original intent, but it works for both), “you never could control me” is in reference to how everyone, especially the media and Horsley, like to point out to Ryan every time he has failed at controlling Shane. 
“Well, I never really thought that you'd come tonight While the crown hangs heavy on either side Give me one last kiss while we're far too young to die”
This bit refers how neither of them were really sure if they could go through with everything, and then here they are. The middle line is a reference to a Shakespeare play (Henry VI) but twisted a little and is meant to represent how the two people must choose the direction to take with their relationship which I think is pretty applicable here. 
Sidenote: I literally never bring up how Shane blows up the courthouse???? Not sure how that happens, but like I said, pacing is nonexistent here. I feel like that’s a big enough event it should have been included though lmao. Also, the scene you linked to in the fic for inspiration on that was amazing and I 100% see why you chose that.
8. “Blockades” by Muse 
This song is meant to represent the scene where Shane comes in to kill Horsley and everything that follows with the two of them. Things are pretty high tension.
“The truth is that when I am killing in order to survive I have never felt so alive I am always seeking to live and die on the edge Life is a broken simulation, I'm unable to feel I'm searching for something that's real I am always seeking to see what's behind the veil”
This is the first part of the song, but also the part that I think fits best out of the whole song. The first two lines especially capture Shane’s outlook on life for the past couple years. He feels he must keep killing because at this point there is no other option for him.
“I never sleep or rest But I'm still running out of time I have sacrificed all of my life The time has come to To prove to you what I'm worth”
Shane’s feelings on why he has to kill Horsley. He desperately hopes that this enough to show Ryan that he loves him and he has quite literally sacrificed any chance he had at a new life for him. However, he also needs to prove to Horsley that he will always have the last laugh.
9. “Infinity” by Jaymes Young 
This song is for when Ryan actually kills Horsley, when he calls Shane, and when Shane comes to help ft. maybe a lot of the feelings attached. However, also a little for the lines “He could've pulled that trigger, and his list would be wiped. But he hadn't. Because he was still in love with Ryan, and deep down, Ryan knew full well that he was in love with him too.” In
“Baby this love, I'll never let it die Can't be touched by no one, I'd like to see him try I'm a mad man for your touch Girl, I've lost control I'm gonna make this last forever Don't tell me it's impossible”
I take this for the moments before Ryan pulls the trigger, even though we don’t actually see much of it in the fic itself. Horsley tries so hard to “discreetly” manipulate him into getting on her side and going against Shane, but Ryan can easily see through it now and he’s not going to let anyone take Shane from him now. I can Ryan (or Shane, for that matter, but at a different time) actually saying those last two lines in the moments before he pulls the trigger. He’s in so deep and I don’t think Horsley even understood until the very end. 
“Meet me at the bottom of the ocean Where the time is frozen Where all the universe is open Love isn't random, we are chosen And we could wear the same crown Keep slowing your heart down We are the gods now”
This is a portion that you have to listen to in order to get. I chose it not so much for the lyric portion, and mostly for the overall feel of the bridge. It has the same sort of shocked, intimate, mildly comforting, and almost liminal space kind of vibe that I get from when Shane arives through the ride back to his place. 
11. “Overtime” by Seafret 
“‘Marriage, kids, all of it.’ He turned his head to look at the other man, feeling choked up already. ‘I think I would've done that with you.’” Aka, where I started crying.
“Time moved on, but nothing changed Different roads when we stayed the same Found a light that never fades You gave me hope on the darkest days How you came out of nowhere”
They were apart, they still had feelings. Things are really emotional right now and I want to give them a big hug and maybe need one myself after reading this scene. This song itself is actually pretty self explanatory in how the lyrics apply to this scene. Fun fact, I actually had the song “Overtime” (also by Seafret) and only changed it as I was typing this up, but it also applies. I felt like this one was a little softer.
“And I just can't turn away, feelings don't hesitate I'll be crushed under the waves, if that's the price I'll pay I'd offer all the more, love holds an open door Inside the world's on pause, what are we waiting for?”
They’re in love and I’m crying.
12. “Blackout” by Muse 
This is the sort of calm before the storm song. Emotions are high and things are sad, and I am sad, and I cried through the entire rest of the story, and it’s just. Things are really rough for everyone in this moment. I chose this song almost totally for the overall vibe and there are only 12 lines total, but some of them apply. Especially for these lines: 
"No, no, you don't-" Ryan ducked under the barrier, ignoring the yells of the closest cop as he skidded to a halt against Shane, arms around him, face pressed into his chest. He felt the taller man's cuffed hands go over him, felt the chin resting on top of his head. "Don't leave me again."
Shane bit his lip hard, closing his watery eyes. "I have to."
“Don't kid yourself And don't fool yourself This love's too good to last And I'm too old to dream”
There’s no other option at this point. Things have gone to far. They always knew that things could never truly work between them given their situation, and up until now they could still hope but by now it’s too late. Everyone’s crying at this point, including a couple reporters because it turns out heartbreak is painful for everyone involved, including those experiencing it second hand.
13. “All I Wanted” by Paramore 
I’d originally had this at the beginning, but after getting to this part I immediately moved it. Paramore once again has created a song that fits perfectly and I am once again crying. This song is from Ryan’s point of view after Shane is taken. The entire month he’s at his parents house. Everything from the time Shane gets taken up until the call. This one’s a lot. Every lyric fits.
“And when the world treats you way too fairly”
This is just one little line, but boy oh boy does it fit. Things really came full circle and Shane is getting exactly what he deserves but man does it hurt.
“I could follow you to the beginning And just to relive the start And maybe then we'll remember to slow down At all of our favorite parts” 
I really wish they were living in literally any other timeline where they could actually work. I wish they could be happy.
“All I wanted was you All I wanted was you All I wanted was you All I wanted was you”
Hayley really captures all of the emotion in these lyrics and it’s amazing. There’s one time where it’s just her voice with no backing music and. it’s a lot but it fits. Everyone’s sad, especially me. 
14. “Something Human” by Muse 
This is another one I chose largely for the mood, but upon reading through the lyrics, there’s actually some pretty good ones. I almost used the song “Pressure” (also by Muse) but decided this one was better. For the phone call and everything after. For Shane. 
“My life just blew up, I'd give it all up I'll depressurize”
He’s once again restarting his life, but it’s worth it. 
“The big picture's gone Replaced with visions of you Now life can begin, I've cleansed all my sins I'm about to break through”
He’s done killing for Ryan and he’s ready to live a different life. Preferably with more Ryan. Also better and safer. The third lyric I associate with how it’s mentioned that Sara is back with him because she felt that him confessing to the crimes was honorable and the right thing. 
Bonus song! “Oh Glory” by Panic! At The Disco 
I really wanted to include this, but turns out it’s not on spotify because it’s a demo that was included on some extended edition of Vices and Virtues. Anyway, I think it kind of sums up Shane’s character and a little of his motivations. I mostly associate the first few lines (which apparently is a trend through a lot of my picks).
“I can only hope it's true enough That every little thing I do for love Redeems me from the moments I deem worthy Of the worst things that I've done”
The clarity of the first line of the song really strikes me and immediately made me think “Shane” when I was listening to this song. This is one of my all time favorite songs, and I’m glad I could include it, no matter how loosley. 
“If I wake in the morning I only need two more miracles to be a saint Everything I promised everyone I'd be Well, I just ain't”
Shane tries to be better for Ryan, but he can’t. 
I really hope you like it! Once again, sorry it’s so long. (I saved my progress in a google doc as i went and according to the word count it’s almost 4k...... i have a 500 word essay i don’t have the motivation for and yet i wrote this with no problem) I spend a lot of time listening to this playlist just to get a good feel for what I was working with and I’m still not sure if it’s perfect, but I think I like where it’s at now. I absolutely adore this series, and I hope this shows at least some of my gratitude.

My logical brain doesn't know if I should be alarmed or not
So it's 5am - I woke up about 10 minutes ago from an odd dream, one that logic and anxiety warns of foreshadowing, but part of me felt comforted?
Before a certain point, I can only remember glimpses or the feeling of being able to, not unusual for me, I usually forget 90-100% of any dreams that seem relevant within the hour, hence my typing now.
I can remember glimpses of a man with pointed features and red-ish brown hair which was either wavy or curly and wildly frizzed, reminding me of my own after cleaning, my mind has already forgotten and blurred other details that I want to remember about appearance. I say glimpses, but there was a solid section of interaction with this man who, although I don't recall him saying his own name, I can recall myself calling him Loki in dream - this is the first recognizable and recollected dream where someone is called Loki, be it by me, the individual themselves or someone else in the dream, and it hasn't been the Marvel Loki incarnation - and here is were my logical brain starts to get confused, and ironically it stops being just glimpses or fragments of dream...
I was in my bed, supposedly in my little granny flat, but the room itself appeard more like my old bedroom before I even moved interstate, and a phone I didn't recognize rang right next to me. I answered somewhat groggy and I could hear a male voice that sounded familiar at vthe time, and even had a sence of reassurance despite the fact that I could hear annoyance, or held back frustration? directed to either me or something I had done. I can't remember the conversation, but I can remember being told to go back to sleep and getting a seriously strong parental vibe and simply smiling and agreeing, maybe thanking (idk?), before the call ended and I put the phone on the pillow next to me.
I think I looked over some paperwork briefly before rolling back over into bed, bills or something, all I can remember was a dread about money when looking at the sheets of paper. My eyes were closed for what felt like a few seconds before the phone rang again, something along the lines of "what would you do if...?" came through in a slightly nervous and apologetic sounding voice, my response was a clear "Loki, What did you do?" To which there was a moment of silence before he told me "You should come here..." in a voice that sounded somewhat exasperated (is that the word I'm looking for? =/ )
So I climb out of bed, go through an unfamiliar yard and down an unfamiliar hallway - it doesn't look like any of the houses I've lived in, and the journey is oddly brief - and stand in the doorway of my mother's bedroom. There, this man I recognized as Loki is laying on his side on mum's bed, propped up by his elbow, chuckling away and talking with mum who was laying down on the opposite side. I smile at the scene but get a sense that something is off, I get thier attention and almost immediately see what was likely to be the reason for my summons; mum sits up in an almost ethereal form, her body, a duller image of herself, still laying on the bed.
I start to panic - is she dead? How?! Why?! When!?! - and Loki is quick to reassure me, "No no no no, my dear, she's just not in her body, she's....fine... she's fine, nothing to worry about, . . .yet..." (Paraphrasing because my mind isn't sure if that's what it remembers, or if imagination has taken creative license based on briefer memories of the dream)
So I somewhat calm down and start to question how to go about fixing the situation, the clearest answer I can remember getting was a "We'll find a way / We'll figure it out,"
So I start to go about the house - which seems to be a mix of at least 2 of the houses I used to live in - and do bits of cleaning and have something to eat, catching glimpses of the dawn sky outside, and see mum laughing with someone in the dining room, at first I get my hopes up that she's back in her body, but a wave of depression hits me when I realize that she looks even more ethereal than before.
A hand lands on my shoulder and I don't remember if I looked or if I didn't even need to, but I can remember the same voice I recognized as Loki telling me that even if mum lost her body entirely, he'd be there for me, and a soothing reassurance washed over me.
Other small details I can remember that were likely a 'new' dream:
Seeing mum's cousin for something like 5 seconds,
Budgies having their tails gently pulled by cats (what even?)
Being able to see the neighbors dimly lit entertainment room (in a building that, although a logically average house, was completely unfamiliar) and a figure possibly practicing dance routines to the song "Paradise" and what sounded like some Imagine Dragons (none of these songs are on my phone's playlist) in said dim lighting,
Going out into my granny flat, the only recognizable "place" in the whole dream(s) and locking every door I walked through?
Like, I don't even understand, but I know the interaction with this Loki felt reassuring and natural, despite my confusion in waking up and the wave of emotion that hit me typing up that last interaction with him.
Anyone think I should be worried or relieved? Anyone better at seeing the possible warnings or the blatantly obvious reassurances (for things other than that specific event) than me?
My tired mind can't quite wrap itself around all this...

Okay , I called this once, and I’m calling it again: Ms. HEINOUS is the MOTHER of  ECLIPSA, not the other way around, TOFFEE is Eclipsa’s half brother or something (hey, that’s what happened on ‘Dexter’, sorta)  and MINA LOVEBERRY is the MONSTER LOVE child .... I mean, look at this design one the door in ‘The Grandma room’.  I mean, actually /look/ at it!

Why, is Moon’s cheek emblem on the right side underneath Ms. Heinous’? If we’ve been getting our relations correct in claiming that Heinous is the ashamed daughter of Eclipsa and her Monster Lover-Turned Husband? Then shouldn’t Eclipsa’s spades be placed ON THE RIGHT SIDE ABOVE MOONS DIAMONDS? And shouldn’t Ms. Heinous’ clubs be the /RIGHT/ side of the door? ABOVE STAR’S? If Eclipsa is Heinous’s mother as the lazy popular theory state’s, then why is her symbol, of the clubs on Moon’s side of the door?  Shouldn’t it be on the LEFT SIDE OF THE DOOR, ABOVE STAR’S? IN  PLACE OF THE SPADE? WHICH SHOULD BE ON MOON’S SIDE OF THE DOOR, THEN? This was a very carefully placed artistic decision that was meant to be giving us another hint at the lore... Please look at the patterns on the door! It’s a meant to be a puzzle! And  If we go in the pattern that the popular theory states.... Then why are the patterns so confusing and mismatched? If you go across the distant “family connections” wouldn’t make any sense, would they? Not with the obvious parallels with Star and Eclipsa along with the parallels people have been trying to make Ms. Heinous and Moon .... (only to further support the “Ms. Heinous is Eclipsa’s daughter” theory which what?) 
However, if we look at it in THIS WAY .... Moon Butterfly /IS/ STAR’S MOM, AND MS. H. IS /ABOVE HER/ AS ECLIPSA IS STAR, (implying spades and clubs came before the newer generation, being hearts and diamonds) SO IT’S ONLY LOGICAL THAT.... LIKE....

Ms. Heinous most likely taught Eclipsa dark Magic. Not the other way around. The one most who was most tempted/consumed by Eclipsa’s dark magic was Marco. Not Star, Marco. Marco, who Ms. Heinous wants to destroy, who will probably end up being her disgrace of a daughters (ECLIPSA)  a.k.a the reason she started working for the damn school in the first place’s protege, which will only add fuel to the fire. Maco’s arm still has the monster virus,dorment , Eclipsa’s arm clearly has something. Marco is the one who notices Eclipsa’s form in the trailer, NOT STAR! Marco, Heinous’s, and Eclipsa’s story-arches are going to intertwine. AND IT’S GOING TO BE BEAUTIFUL. THINK OF THE PRINCESS DR. MARCO THERAPY SESSIONS. THINK OF ECLIPSA’S PAINTINGS.
Also, Toffee is probably Eclipsa’s adoptive/half brother from an affair that Heinous kept secret (like mother, like daughter, only H. didn’t go after an implied ancient warlord and then go public about it and ruin her marriage over it and THAT IS WHAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE, she probably saw Eclipsa’s choices as punishment for her own deeds and then went to go work for St. Olga’s eventually becoming Head Mistress, she probably raised Toffee in secret from his infancy, and Toffee is probably a product of St. O’s, himself, after all, where else would Heinous hide him if she didn’t want him to be found out? Which Eclipsa probably did). if we take into account that Toffee is probably Heinous’s illegitimate child that she traumatized and locked in St. O’s to further “civilize” and him and make him how he is in an attempt to make up for not being able to control Eclipsa, and it “worked” on him, but he doesn’t want anything to do with them (Eclipsa, or Heinous) but wants to rule Mewni for himself as the rightful heir (let’s say that Toffee was born BEFORE Eclipsa and she found out about him later) then not only does that make way more sense, makes the fact that Toffee killed the Queen of Hours, Moons Mother, all the more terrifying, some deep seeded Mother Issues in this family...... And if Toffee WAS THE REJECTED/DISOWNED FAMILY MEMBER, IT ALSO MAKES TOFFEE’S TARGETING OF LUDO MAKE MORE SENSE AND MAKES LUDOFFEE? LUDO/TOFFEE, EVEN MORE CANON, Y’ALL CAN BITE ME ....

Star’s  seemly out of nowhere “AAAHH!!! Demon!” scare in the final, when she’s never shown fear of “demons” before was some fucking foreshadowing, because how much do you wanna bet that at the end or mid movie, when everything seems like it’s gonna go back to the status quo....

...Eclipsa’s husband/Monster Love is going to appear in Star’s room exactly like this? The tone of the scene will be darker, because his presence will be much stronger, ether that, or considering who his daughter is and who Star’s idol  is, and considering how all I feel all of those personalities are going to bounce off of each other , it’ll  be way scarier than this scene it AT FIRST... but then it’ll turn hilarious really quick!  
“You’ll never get him on your side”? “In this Ancient Monster Temple”? The scene above? The shows easing into his presence already! Just like they did with Eclipsa after showing the portrait! And when he finally *appears* in the narrative flesh,  he’ll be crouched over in shadow and at first, we’ll probably only be able to catch him out of the corner of our eyes, just like they intended with Eclipsa in the crystal but oh, he’ll be there!
And his, Mina Loveberry’s, and Star’s story arches are also going to be beautifully intertwined with eachother....   
  Because Mina Loveberry is the the result of Monster Love, yes! I’m saying Mina is Eclipsa’s and the Monster’s daughter. I don’t know why y’all think Monster Love’s true heir is (canonically presented as, at least for now)  MALE and an EVIL LIZARD LAWYER but it disgusts me and i don’t have time to get into why your wrong bc I’m disabled and currently experiencing a spell of nausea but Mina Loveberry is the perfect combination of the two of them and I can tell bc she probably has pieces of her dads personality and she’s been around for a while if Star “grew up with her” I mean honestly: A scruffy Ancient Warrior Princess who has a questionable way of doing things and morals, who people call “bananas” and can make herself buff at will, with an even more Ancient Monster So Ripped He Doesn’t Need To Wear a Shirt Warlord for a dad an Ex Queen of Mewni for a mom? 
Who the fandom also seems to think has “questionable morals” (Eclipsa) because she’s one half of a narrative metaphor that’s kind of the Whole Point of the show and people still think she’s “evil” and “crazy” and “wrong” for that? 
Mina Loveberry being the daughter of Monster Love doesn’t make more sense to you than a Conventionally Attractive, Clearly Evil Lizard Man of an Entirely Different Species, who walks around in Suit, being their son?  Okay bye!
P.S “You’ll never get him on your side” was talking about Eclipsa’s husband, who probably made some sort of deal with Toffee as Eclipsa made a deal with Moon. Because this whole thing was probably a game to the lovers at this point, and the Monsters deal with Toffee probably involved him being brought back so he could be with Eclipsa in the future if Eclipsa’s Lover himself isn’t an immortal being already. But he will  be back bc the design is too good, too detailed, and they wouldn’t create a character design THAT FANTASTIC,  that complementing to each other, if they didn’t have clear plans for  characters.

 As I theorized before, why do you think the Ancient Monster Temple was brought up? It was foreshadowing. So was ”You’ll never get him on your side”. Because whatever his plans are, he’s coming back to be with his wife .... season 4 if not after the mid season 3 break, or sooner or even THE MOVIE.

FYI: I only got the screen cap of the door from a “Heinous is Eclipsa’s daughter” theory video on yt. It just frustrates me how people never noticed this detail when the actual pattern of relation is right in front of you. Like, we spend so much time over analyzing steven’s tunaverse and gravy falls (I’m hungry) but like, when a silly show us provides with the simplest of clues in such a small, but easy to find detail, we mess it up entirely to repeat the same stuff over and over that we already knew, even though they’re literally giving us an answer to our question that opens us up to theories that make a hell of a lot more sense and are far more interesting than the stuff we keep repeating....I ....I dislike this fandom. VERY MUCH.

ECLIPSA IS STILL TOTALLY GOING TO NEED HER CHAIR ONCE SHE GETS UN-CRYSTALIZED. THE WHOLE ENTIRE REASON SHE’S LIKE THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE IS BECAUSE THE TIME OUT GUY, BEING THE  JUDGEMENTAL PRICK THAT HE IS, THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS “EVIL” NOT BECAUSE SHE’S THE QUEEN OF DARKNESS, BUT BECAUSE FROM HIS POINT OF VIEW, SHE WAS “FAKING HER DISABILITY” BECAUSE HE SAW HER GET UP ON HER OWN FOR 5 SECONDS AND TOOK THAT AS AN INSULT TO LEKMET, FREEZING HER ONLY TO AVENGE THE GOATS HONOR. NATURALLY, HER LOVER TURNED SIGNIFICANT OTHER WASN’T TOO HAPPY ABOUT THIS AND CAUGHT ON TO WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED PRETTY QUICK, SO TIME OUT GUY AND LEKMET USED HER TITLE AND ALL THIER “PAST CRIMES” AS A SCAPEGOAT TO KEEP HER THERE, RATHER THAN UN-FREEZE HER AND FACE THE MUSIC.

YOU NEED TO GET YOUR DAD!” AND MARGO GET’S OUT HER DS LIKE “OKAY!” AND ONCE SHE’S OUT OF EARSHOT, ECLIPSA SAYS TO STAR IN HER PERFECT COCKNEY ACCENT LIKE “AWWHH, WOTS’A MATTA’, CAKEPOP?! YOU DON’ WONNA STAY’ ER’ AN’ WAIT WIT’ GRANNY TA’ MEET YER’ POPPOP?!
AND STAR’S ALL ANNOYED AN’ GRUMBLY LIKE “/STEP!/ POPPOP! Myevilstep-poppop...” 
And that’s when Eclipsa gets 100% serious and her tone get’s kinda sad and soft like “ So because ze stepped in and zir part demon, zir just evil and an accessory for ‘Bad Girls’? Like those Scissors?” 
And Star’s like “HOW DID YOU-” but then Margo comes back with her mom and dad following and Rafael scoops Eclipsa off the floor and she’s like “Ooooo, Angie! Your husband is so strong ... Wait’ll you meet mine!” And Angie’s like “HAHA THANKS!” *whispers to Margo* “Howdoessheknowournames?”  
Rafs all insecure like “Whoisherhusband?”
“IdontknowMomandDad...I.Dont.Know......” 
Then later, they have her settled on the couch with a warm blanket and a hot cup of tea, Margo realizes Eclipsa has a permeant disability but still doesn’t trust her (thinking she’s faking, putting on some cliche act) so she just drops the bomb of “LOOK .... I know you’re a Granny and all, but ....aren’t you a bit too YOUNG to be disabled?” 
And without missing a beat, right in front of her parents, Eclipsa just grins and goes “Aren’t you a bit too young to have lived 30 years of your life in an alternate dimension and have the mark of Heckapoo,  JENNIFER RINK? ;3 ”  and goes right back to sipping her tea.
“....30 /WHAT/?!”
“....... Mark of /WHO/???!!!”  
“OH!” *ECLIPSA PUTS DOWN HER TEA USING HER SPOON LIKE A WAND IN THE AIR* “IT’S ‘HECK-A-POO’. HECKAPOO!” 
*Raf gets sidetracked seeing her do a lil’ magic with her tea spoon when her eyes start to glow* “I’m sorry if this is invasive to ask, Mrs. Eclipsa, but ... Can you shoot lasers out of your eyes like these puppies?” 
Margo’s still horrified.  “STAR. HOW DOES SHE KNOW THESE THINGS????!!!??” 
Star’s just like “ CAUSE GRANDMA’S KNOW, JENNIFER! Grandma’s know!!!” 
Eclipsa’s like “That’s my girl.” 
“But Queen Eclips- ...GRANNY! You never answered Mr. Diaz’s question!” 
*sips tea* “The answer is that I most certainly can, Star.” 
“AAAWH YIIII-”  
*takes another sip of tea before adding* “But I only use my laser powers in the most EXTREME of emergencies.” 
“Awwh.” 
*Finally finishes tea and there’s a flash of light and Eclipsa appears to be gone before Star feels something warm and fuzzy curled up on her lap * “Unless ... Anyone would like to see what I look like as a laser kitty? :3″ 
“AAAAAAAAAWWHH!!!!” 
CONCEPT:  THE “TIE” AROUND ECLIPSA’S WASTE IS ACTUALLY A FASHIONABLE  BACK BRACE MADE TO LOOK LIKE A PART OF HER DRESS. IT HELPS HER STAND UP BETTER. 
And I WILL make a post for all the Past Queens disabilities, it’s just I came up with a cute little pun for mine and I don’t feel comfortable making Mewni style puns for other peoples disabilities... ^ ^; So when I make that post the disabilities will just be listed as they are on Earth and #STARVSTHEFORCESOFABLEISM seems like a better catch all, since the term “CPunk” was coined by somebody else and means a very specific thing... ^ ^; 
But Eclipsa’s disability is called “Celestial Purrsy” (a play on my own disability, Cerebral Palsy)  and it basically means she has all the advantages/disadvantages of a cat ... ^ ^; It’s taken as a birth defect by the Mewmans because she looks like she has DNA from   different dimension? ^ ^; Like this is gonna sound kinda morbid and dark but they suspect she’s a “changeling” and that the alternative version OF Eclipsa (like the one of Star we see in “MathMagic”)

Which she’s been made to cover up since birth in order to look more like a “normal” mewman , like think of the old wives tale of cats stealing babies breath and the dreaded dimension of Star vs. where cats  have human faces, on Mewni there’s basically this old wive tale of “Mewmans who have cat faces” and if they’re born that way it’s Bad Luck because they’re “The Cat Who Snatched The Mewmans Body” and that’s what they think happened to Eclipsa. That’s why they call her “Eclipsa” because they think “a dark shadow was cast over their baby” A “Fairy Godmothers curse” (The character of ‘Baby’ is actually described as “Star’s Fairy Godmother”in wikipedia summary. So maybe they think Eclipsa’s cursed with a cat face because the Fairy burped on her or or something AND THAT’S WHY THEY HATE HER SO MUCH OH MY GOSH. GET IT? AN OLD WIVES ABOUT BABIES BREATH? A FAIRY GODMOTHER CAT NAMED ‘BABY’? OH MY GOSH. They blame things like Eclipsa’s size and her love of food on Baby too, but that’s just another part of the stigma Eclipsa faces because her parents are arseholes. 
Eclipsa even went through Mewberty “wrong” because her Mewberty from actually looks a lot like Baby ... And other Mewmans are like “Eeew, what are you? you silly Cat/Bug/Moth thing we’re supposed to be strictly INSECT BASED!!!!” 
And instead of “BOYS” all she wanted to do was play with balls of yarn ...  She hoarded all the yarn, and then she actually CREATED the “Worlds Most Dangerous Creature” we see in ‘Inter-Dimensional Field Trip’ WITH THE YARN...

For what purpose though, her parents were concerned... 
She was basically treated as more of a prized house pet than a mewman, a Familiar meant to serve rather than the Queen she was met to be, and, like Star, she didn’t know basic magic ... As Queen of Mewni, she was a Familiar/Figure head, an “inspiration” to the kingdom more than anything and her husband at the time, a boarder-line powerless Mewman who never left his mewberty form by choice,  King Lunar (LOO-NAR) used her for her magic, she was barely allowed to use her wand and the parasol was always opened up and propped on her wheelchair behind her where she couldn’t  reach it in order to “shield her from the elements”, as Lunar put it. 
They married because he took her out to The Bloodmoon Ball on a pity date, dancing was required according to their parents, and their souls “accidentally” bonded.  Just as they intended.  
SO you all know cerebral palsy is a muscle thing, right? Well with Eclipsa, her “Celestial Purrsy” is A BIT more exaggerated like someone (Glossaryck) will sneak up on her and she’ll have a muscle spasm, even if she’s prepared for it, but if she’s not wearing her seat belt, she’ll do that kitty thing where she’ll end up clinging to the ceiling, cat noises and everything, and she has those weird ticks that I have where she’ll get a twitch through her body like ....

It’s less pleasant than Jiji’s in the context of that gif, but t that’s the  only way I know how to to describe it ... And then Glossaryck tries to get her to relax and “dip down” to try to get her off the ceiling but she just ... can’t do it... not because she’s afraid (it’s just an INVOLUNTARY REFLEX, EVERYONE CALLS HER A “SCAREDY CAT” OR APOLOGIZES AND NOBODY GETS  IT...) but because her purrsy effected muscles are so tense and she can’t unclench them cause ...her body is afraid it’ll hurt? ^ ^; So Glossaryck will have to call Lunar to help get her down and he’s part moth, so he’ll like make a big show of like, crawling up the ceiling to get her and he’ll do it extra slow just to freak her out more because he knows that she hates it when she touches her but she can’t show it cause he’s her care giver and her husband and she feels guilty for doubting his love and daring to think he makes her uncomfortable on purpose... yeah marriage problems ... ^ ^;  Sorry for creepy imagery ... ^ ^; 
Glossaryck tries to talk to Lunar about it and suggests that MAYBE she’ll be more comfortable around him if he actually lets her USE HER WAND... since she hasn’t  touched it since she was a teenager and WHO KNOWS HOW HER PERSONALITY HAS CHANGED SINCE THEN ... So Lunar’s like “FINE!!! HERE ECLIPSA!” (he can hand here the wand without effect on him since he doesn’t actually have hands to hold it with... he has feelers and mewberty goop... so everything just kinda... latches on to him all sticky ..... yeah, sorry for nightmare fuel again) Aaaaaaanndd we get our first glimpse of our Queen of Darkness then, wardrobe change and everything (the thorn crown doesn’t come in until she spends more time with Grimalkin and more specifically, when she’s evaluated by Baby and grows her apple tree later, when she’s been living with her Lover, they ask the Fairy Godmother to marry them right there), everyone is surprised by the transformation expect  for Glossaryck, who’s like  “Somebody’s been suppressing a lot of ANGER ....” *Looks over at Lunar* “Wonder what could be the cause* And then Lunar looks over at Eclipsa who looks about ready to KILL HIM an’ he snatches the wand away as quickly as she had it via his gross Mewberty goop and he’s like “SEE?! All that power is far too dangerous for someone so small look at what just happened! You just turned yourself into a monster when your supposed to be my sweet little muffin!”
 Now we get to Toffee’s relation to Eclipsa.... after the whole wand thing happened he was actually (supposed to be) her aid. Cause King Lunar become paranoid of his wife becoming “out of control” and needed someone to “control” her when he wasn’t there because                   “ (ableism) I’m too busy to be scrapping you off the ceiling every time you have one of your episodes!!!! (ableism)” So .... he tries some of the Mewman staff at  first ... But they’re all ether too condescending or just plain afraid of her and don’t even wanna touch her ... and Eclipsa knows this and plays it up to her advantage... So Lunar finally get’s this idea ... And he picks who he deems the most “intelligent” in the ... lizard prison... tells them that they’re going to “Keep an eye on the Queen”, takes them to Eclipsa’s room and Lunar’s like “Okay LIZARD I’m gonna show you what you’re working with here” And it’s just Eclipsa, alone, by herself, eating this big bowl of candy with her gloves off and pawing at the wrappers... 
And the lizards like “She looks SLIGHTLY less bored than I am...” 
“She’s hysterical ...” 
*mumbles* “ComingfromLunarTheLoon....” 
“What was that, REPTILE...?” 
“Nothing...! Yourbugeyedbenevolence...” 
“If you’re so keen on insulting someone today, just make sure you speak to HER in the slowest, weirdest voice possible!” 
“....OKIEDOKIEHOPEYOUCHOKIE!!!” 
Then the door slams and it’s perpetual “SURPRISE!!!!” voice until Eclipsa goes “Oi Lizzie! You like some tea from all that Buff- frog in ya throat?!” 
And then Liz drops the act like “Oh, I don’t eat garbage...” 
“Well, had me confused, you are what you eat...” 
“And you’re hysterical...” 
“Mm. So I’ve heard. But I’m sure the Buff-frogs don’t like hearing their fellow monsters think they’re ‘garbage’. That’s not a very nice thing to say about someone, is it? Even if it is used as an excuse not to eat them.” 
“I suppose that’s true... Are you going to strike me now?” 
“Why would I strike the hand that feeds me?” 
“On days like this, I can think of many reasons, especially if you’re hungry.”
*She edges the bowl of candy over to him* “Please. :3″ 
“...Thank you....” *Being the ... picky eater that he is, (or making certain it’s not poison) she notices him carefully searching for his favorite candy and laughs when he gathers a handful of it* 
“There you go!” 
*Mouth already full of Saltwater Toffee* “Whut ...?!”
”I think your name is Toffee! What would you say about that?” 
*he looks guilty for all the candy pieces he’s holding in his hands* I’d say that it would suit me, Queen Eclipsa, Thank you!”  
“Your very welcome, Toffee! Also, that reminds me, we need to buy you a suit, it’ll look more official when you help me boot out my bugger of a husband! *ironic ship teasing/future ex girlfriend reference bc she later falls for someone who wears no suits at all, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT* 
Toffee can’t help but find this amusing and smilies “You want me to... AIDE you in starting a rebellion against your husband?” 
*Eclipsa borrows a piece of his toffee, pops it in her mouth, and grins* “Now look who’s hysterical...” 
The very next day, Toffee returns to Eclipsa all beaten and bloodied up. His tail is missing and , he’s pretty much dying. Eclipsa is freaking out...realizing her wand is gone too, doesn’t know what’s going on but has a pretty good inkling of who’s behind it. Next thing you know Lunar comes in all like “Hm. That’s two things that don’t belong to me now, or is it three? You’ll never get your kingdom back.”
 And Eclipsa is tears “I don’t care about the kingdom! What did you do to to Toffee?!” 
And Lunar throws the tail and the and the wand back to their rightful owners and says “What I could never do to my bugger of a bride!” before slamming the door on them again. 
The second he leaves, Eclipsa drops herself out of her chair unto to the floor, crawls over to Toffee, asks him to tell her what she can do to to help him, and he tells her  weakly that he’s heard of an ancient being in the dark forest who supposed to heal monsters, Eclipsa’s like “Alright, we’ll go there. Right now.” Takes off her hat and props it under his head, then goes over to her bed to get some pillows, where her book is laying. 
Glossaryck pops out and is like “What are you doing?” 
“You heard what just went on.” 
“You’re going to The Dark Forest to seek Grimalkin.” 
“ Gesundheit.” 
“No no. Grimalkin is the name of the HEALER. Trust me, if I  sneezed, you’d know it.” 
“Get away.” 
“Eclipsa, I’m you’re teacher and YOU NEED ME.” 
“No I don’t.” 
“Fine. Be that as it may, I will accompany you on your journey.” 
“Why?” 
“SATISFACTION BROUGHT IT BACK!” 
“...Whatever. Help me pad my chair with these pillows while I lift Toffee up, and hurry.” 
“...Maybe if  you cast  ‘LEVITATO’-” 
“I KNOW!!!!” 
Toffee protests to taking Eclipsa’s chair but Eclipsa says that right now, he needs it more than she does. “Besides, I have my Gait Trainer, silly Gator!”  They secure some rope they got from Eclipsa’s curtains to the chair and Toffee’s under the impression that Eclipsa’s going to tie the other end around her waist and pull him herself, so he objects to that too. He earns some perfect shoujo laughter and a “Don’t be ridiculous, Toffee!” Before giving a sharp whistle and a small usher of rats scurry out from under the bed “I mean, I would if I had to, but there’s no need. Follow Mummy babies!” and just like that they grab a hold of Toffee’s rope and follow her out every door, with to rats stationed in front of her to help open them.
 One of the servants asks if they should do something, watching her head towards the dark forest from the window, to which Lunar responds “Nah, curiosity killed the cat.” And the rest is history. Basically because Toffee made her PROMISE to come back and visit him every day because he heard what Lunar had said to her before and was afraid for her at that point. Which Grimalkin allows because he BEGS xem and the Guardian sees how this monster cares for HER. Plus she looks too exhausted to do any real harm at the moment.  
Eclipsa promises Toffee that she’ll come back, and she’ll start working on her spells for self defense. 
When Eclipsa asks Grimalkin tells her that Toffee’s tail can’t be re-attached, and it could take a while for the other lizard monsters who to live there to teach him how to regenerate, maybe even generations but zie CAN preserve his life. Maybe even raise a new life from the old tail.
 When she hears this, and she’s letting it sink in that Toffee almost died,  Eclipsa considers making up an immortality spell so she’ll never have to worry about the scare of losing him ever again. Then Eclipsa tells the guardian about the prison and zie promise to see what can be done. Also this happen at some point, after they’re at least on a more friendly/flirty basis ...
“You’re a healer, right?” 
“You know what I am.”
”Yeah, well...How come other people don’t know I can’t be cured?” 
“Dunno.” 
“I mean I know I KNOW...and YOU KNOW, so how come THEY dunno? YA KNOW?!”
”The answer is as mysterious as my origins, Purple One.” 
“YOU’RE A PURPLE ONE! Also, your stripes are really pretty!” 
“So are your paws.” 
“May I feel your pretty stripes with my pretty paws? :3″ 
“You are MARRIED! Also, I am not purple, I am  Magenta.” 
“ And I’m Sorry I Asked! ;W;” 
Toffee is watching them like “Pfft ... FURRIES!” 
When things start getting more intense between them (Grimalkin & Eclipsa) later, Eclipsa tells Lunar over dinner that she wants to  make other living arrangements, of course, the tyrannical King laughs in her face. THIS is what leads the Lovers to make arrangements of their own behind the King of Mewni’s back, at least until they can get away, they’re hoping ...  
That’s pretty much it, sorry for going into a bit a mini fic mode, I just really wanted to sell the idea of Eclipsa... being a disabled person so that people would actually, you know... want to draw her as such. ^ ^; Since I don’t think it’ll happen at all in the show, twice, although it would be a freaking miracle if it did ... ^ ^; 
I’m also sorry for the snobby way that I think some of this post is worded? ^ ^; I’m not trying to play the oppression game with anyone here .... ^ ^; It’s just, people see a character and they think of ways to see themselves.... and anyone can draw a missing eye, limb, or cane as a cool character trait or accessory but absolutely NOBODY (as far as I know)  sees a character and thinks “I’m going to draw that “abled-bodied” character in a wheelchair, so people who maybe don’t have the physical ability to create sometimes can see themselves too”. Which is why I think starting a movement along the lines of #DRAWHERSITTINGDOWN, or more inclusively #DRAWTHEMSITTINGDOWN would be SUPER IMPORTANT. 
I mean, at least it’s better than saying “cripple the bitch”. Which in retrospect I’m surprised hasn’t been turned into some kind of revolutionary artistic  renaissance or reclamation movement made exclusively for disabled artists to draw what disabilities they’ve envisioned for the abled-bodied characters that they adore already (in a way that’s not the result of villainous violence or results in vendetta, unless of of course they’re a villain or simply have a vendetta against our abled-bodied overlords whom  oppress us so, that would be an excellent excuse to have those elements included in the explanation of how their disability effects them, like I just did with Eclipsa ).      
Because I feel bad and embarrassed because every time I want to see an “abled-bodied” character in a wheelchair, I think of the phrase “cripple the bitch” and then my internalized ablism thinks up some horrible accident they were in order to “make them that way”.  Because nobody draws an “abled bodied” character in a wheelchair just because. Unless it’s the disability sign. And we need to start.  
STAR VS. THE FORCES OF EVIL IS THE /ONLY SHOW/ WHERE I FEEL COMFORTABLE ENOUGH STARTING IT! AND I /STILL/ FEEL THE NEED TO EXPLAIN /WHY/ I NEED THIS HEADCANON RATHER THAN JUST SAY BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE ANY EVIDENCE OR CODING TO HELP ME. AND I’M AFRAID PEOPLE WILL ETHER HUMOR ME ONCE OR WON’T FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH IT BECAUSE THEY’RE ABLED BODIED. AND WHERE IS TOBY?! IS MY SON STILL IN DETENTION?! I DON’T MEAN TO DISOWN HIM BUT I DESERVE BETTER THAN AN ACTUAL HUMAN SIDE CHARACTER WHO ONLY SHOWED UP ONCE, A GOAT, A WEIRD WEREWOLF GUY, AND

I’m sorry that I feel like I’m playing the oppression olympics right now, like I’m wheeling over eggshells with every word that I type, but I know I deserve better, I really do! I deserve my Disabled Queen of Darkness, Eclipsa. And she and her wheels deserve a spot on Daron Necfy’s Diverse (and I’m not being ironic because I LOVE YOU FAERIE GOD MOM <3) wall of art, along with an actual (and still autistic)  Star on Wheels . And so do Eclipsa’s husband and their son, Toby. Like all four in the same picture; a family portrait. That Would Be AMAZING!!! Especially if “Grimalkin” was like, like both Eclipsa AND Toby up on each arm IN THIER WHEELCHAIRS like they were lifting weights like in a “strong man” pose cause they’re arms are definitely big enough to support two manual wheelchairs that weigh virtually nothing them cause they’re so strong and they just ... can. 
And Star is parked on the floor in front in her power chair ... with “The Gang” (Trans Marco, Jackie,  Tom, Janna and Starfan13) all gathered around her and they’re all just being happy an goofy and Janna’s in Star’s lap, probably. Starfan13 didn’t have enough room so she’s like, squishing Star’s face with her’s in a hug, you know that cute squishy hug face? 
Ingrid’s in the picture too, sitting in the monsters arms at Toby’s side holding his hand cause he’s a little nervous that he’ll fall. She wanted to be in the photo too and Grimalkin understood her cause they also speak German and they asked her if she could keep Toby company so he wouldn’t be scared. She said okay, but she’s not giving up her comfort item for nothin’, also it will cost The Queen her guillotine. 
Eclipsa’s over on the other arm just lookin’ as chill as ever. Cause she knows that her Lovie would never let her roll off. 
That would look PERFECT on Daron’s wall! Hopefully #DISABLEDQUEENOFDARKNESS becomes as popular as other fanon so we can make that happen! Feel to use any of the tags I’ve created to start posting!!! Maybe even said some Disabled Queen of Darkness to Daron!!! (And me of course, if I’ve convinced you that Eclipsa Is Disabled and you want to actively draw her and write her as such please send all your content to me!!! I’d love to see it!!!! <3)    
I have other thoughts on the monster themselves, their love for Eclipsa, it’s importance to the entire freaking plot of the series, and the way they’ve been treated in favor of Toffee and Eclipsa herself, like that line about treating the monster lover as an accessory was there for a reason and I’m pissed, but I’ll write up why later because YOU KNOW WHY... and I wanna go ahead and get this posted before the final airs.

I know using “if” in an apology is wrong but I don’t know how else to word this so ... I’m genuinely sorry if any other physically disabled people reading this are uncomfortable with my usage of the word in this post? ^ ^; It’s just it’s used as a catchall by other people in our community and after finding cpunk, I recently started identifying with the word to help me find other people ... ^ ^; <3 OX 
Also  people, when you reblog this, please clarify whether or not you physically disabled in the tags in order to help me find other people...  ^ ^; <3 OX I’ve never done this before, so words of encouragement and feed back would also be appreciated, and if you said something ... vaguely kind or encouraging before? ^ ^; <3 Know they still are (just now is your chance to reblog ^ ^; <3 OX)

And SPEAKING of cool criminal individuals I just want to thank Red for publishing my ask in the first place. She’s helped and inspired so many with the Trans Marco theory and she’s the one who helped me realize I had a basis for my Disabled Queen of Darkness too. Also, she’s the one who inspired the idea of Eclipsa’s husband being some weird bug thing who preferred to stay in their  Mewberty stage, “like an invading body snatcher virus took over.” Because it shows some real contrast between some monsters and the mewmans I think, rather than just being some humanoid oppressors afraid of the scary monsters because they “don’t understand”. Because they had this “mewberty” thing happen to them, where they ether “wouldn’t be back to normal”, or they made the conscious decision to stay in or out of it, good or bad, and if they understood exactly what they were doing to the other monsters and enjoyed it because they considered THEMSELVES the“ideal” of what a monster should look like. And then that bad history was erased through centuries of .... literal humanization I just think there’s a bit more to explore through that narrative then having Eclipsa’s former husband be some cliche Gaston stereotype, or even the “well meaning Nice Guy TM who lets the girl go” trope. 
And I know that making the Mewman King Eclipsa was married to a tyrant is a bit of a cliche as well, but striping Eclipsa of the powers she’s supposed have because of that, giving Eclipsa a physical disability and have her be oppressed because of that, like Star would be with the autism headcanon... It would kinda level the playing flied between Eclipsa and the Monster a bit because THEY’RE BOTH MINORITIES!!! THEY’RE BOTH OPPRESSED!!!!  The Monster a bit more than Eclipsa but still ... the thing common helps them understand each other a bit more and helps this become much more than “ I married my oppressor because I changed them and they changed me” “love” story, because c’mon, so far, the basis for these two finding a connection in these fandom has been “You’re not bad for a ______” AND WE ARE SO NOT DOING THAT WITH WHAT’S SUPPOSED TO BE AN ALLEGORY FOR AN INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIP C’MON .... 
And I wouldn’t have thought any of this if it weren’t for Red, she’s our rebel princess, she’s the best, loves the wayward sister in the purple dress, she’s given me the courage to fight, for Heckapoo On Wheels, Disabled Dark Queens and Butterfly’s ....and TOOOOOOOOOOOOBBBBBBBBBBYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! 
Okay so I hope that wasn’t too corny but like, seriously, I love you Red!! You are ROCK and are (truly) an inspiring beautiful person who’s fun to be around and I hope this isn’t embarrassing or too much because I know we only ever had contact from that ask, but I owe you so much credit for inspiring me to claim Queen Eclipsa for myself as well as the other Past Queens of Mewni for other people with disabilities because it’s amazing that you and Daron have made me feel comfortable in my own skin enough to do that! I love this show and this little niche fandom of Wayward Princesses SO MUCH and it all means so much to me you have no idea and I am SO GLAD you’re a part of it!!! I’m worried that some of this post as well as that ask was worded with some twinges of jealously ... and maybe that’s why it wasn’t originally reblogged .... because I sounded so ...impatient? But I want you to know that I mean this, un-ironically, from bottom of my heart and I’m not just saying for notes or popularity: You are important. You are loved. You have done so much for the community and so much for me and so many other great things and more than enough things for me to thank you for so you don’t need to feel pressured to reblog this, Red!
