In Trigun, we all know that plants don't grow up at the same speed than humans, as Vash and Knives are as developed as 10 years old children at one year old. However, y'all have miss something. In Trigun Maximum, it is told that Vash lost his arm around 80 years ago, and the Fall was around 150 years ago. However, in the flashback about the accident, Vash and Knives seem to be teenagers. Which would mean that plants don't grow faster than human, they go through early childhood faster, but stay teenagers for decades, than don't age once they reach adulthood (around 25 as Vash is described has looking 24).
Yeah, no shit Knives is genocidal, he's a teenager with no adult support. (*My Chemical Romance is playing in the background*)

Being a teenager is so hard and nobody tells you how to do it. Yesterday in class, two girls at my table were talking about musicians they liked. I didn’t know any of them but I wanted to join the conversation in order to expand my taste in music and possibly make some friends. I failed horribly, here’s how it went:
Person 1:
talking to person 2 “Yeah so this is what I’ve been listing to recently, I love this song!”
Person 2: “Oh yeah! I’m pretty sure you introduced me to that artist!”
Me:
interjects randomly
“I don’t know who [aforementioned artist] is.”
I pause and they look at me
“I wish I listened to popular artists like you guys.”
They give each other a weird look, and I realize what I have just said
“I-I mean I do listen to popular artists just they make a different type of music”
desperately trying to save any little respect they might still have for me I continue
“Um, isn’t it crazy that we can all listen to really popular music and artists without ever knowing the artist or song the other person is listening to because we listen to such different types of music?”
