Can you do an headcanon about the perfect Holiday gift for each Keanu's character,please?
Perfect Holiday gift for each Keanu Reeves' Characters Headcanon (John Wick, Ted Theodore Logan, John Constantine)
A/N: I hope I did this right, and I hope it's good for each character. I love this man so much 😩🤚
Tumblr media
John Wick: John Wick, a man who has experienced so much loss and violence, would appreciate a gift that brings him peace and helps him move on from his past. Given his love for his dogs and his bookbinding hobby, the perfect gift for John Wick would be a beautifully handcrafted leather-bound journal. This journal could be customized with his initials and feature a dog paw print as a symbol of his beloved pets. It would give him a space to reflect on his thoughts and memories, perhaps even use it as a diary to express his feelings and find solace in the written word. Inside the book, you could slip a photo of his beloved late dog, Daisy, as a reminder of his past and the love he still carries with him and a candid picture of him with his new dog.
Tumblr media
Ted Theodore Logan (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure): Ted is all about the music and has a deep appreciation for classic rock. The perfect holiday gift for Ted could be a vintage, limited-edition electric guitar, perhaps a Fender Stratocaster, in a vibrant and eye-catching color. To make it even more special, it could come with a personalized message like “be excellent to each other and party on dudes!”
Tumblr media
John Constantine (Constantine): John Constantine is known for his supernatural and occult interests. The perfect holiday gift for him would be a unique, ancient grimoire or spellbook that he hasn't encountered in his extensive travels. It could contain rare incantations, spells, and secrets from various mystical traditions. To add a personal touch, a silver amulet with protective symbols, ensuring his safety on his dangerous journeys, would be included as well.

Ted Theodore Logan x Reader
TW: Mentions of bullying towards Reader, few curse words
Tumblr media
"Oh please, Rufus!" Bill cried out, “Why can’t we use the phone booth?!”
Rufus sighed, adjusting his sunglasses as Bill and Ted continued pleading to use the phone booth for something completely pointless. “Well boys, the universe isn’t in danger and you don’t have an important test that can change the course of your futures. There’s simply no point that’s all.” He explained, staring at the two boys.
Bill stood there for a minute, unable to come up with a clear excuse why they would need the phone booth. Rufus had a good point and Bill struggled as he continued trying to present something clever to change his mind.
“Well-” However, he was interrupted.
Ted fidgeted for a second before excitedly bringing his hand up, a wide smile on his face as if he was still in school waiting for permission to speak.
Rufus sighed again before nodding towards Ted,
“Yes, Ted?”
“As you’ve said, the universe isn’t in danger! Why? Well, it was because of us!” He started, moving his hands around as he spoke as if he was giving a presentation.
Bill started to smile towards Rufus, understanding what Ted was trying to say. His friend was indeed most excellent. Rufus wouldn’t be able to shoot them down again this time.
“And as young heroes, shouldn’t we be allowed the luxury of using the phone booth one last time?” Ted finished, the smile still on his face as Rufus continued to stare at him.
Rufus thought for a second and nodded, giving a small smile. “You’re right. Alright boys, you can use the phone booth.. Make your trip worthwhile because this will be the absolute last time.”
“Sweet! Thanks, Rufus!” Bill exclaimed, elbowing his excellent friend before rushing towards the phone booth, “Come on, Ted!”
“Wait up, Bill! Thanks, Rufus!” Ted said before rushing after his friend, entering the phone booth while Bill skimmed through the yellowed pages of the phonebook. Ted leaned down, looking through the pages as well for anything that would capture his eye.
“We need somewhere we haven’t really been before. Any ideas where we should go, my excellent friend?” Bill asked, glancing at him as he turned another page.
Ted read some of the contents before pointing towards a date that captured his eye in the phonebook. “What about here, Bill? We should check out the 50s!” He replied and pointed out the number for Bill.
“Sure, bud!” Bill started typing the number while Ted closed the door to the phone booth, preparing for another journey with his best friend.
He wondered what adventure he would discover this time.
____
Another day, another failed attempt at maintaining my sanity.
You sighed as you adjusted your binder and textbooks threatening to escape from your arms, silently wishing you hadn’t forgotten your school bag at home.
Your last day as a senior was absolutely horrendous and you were thrilled you were finally free from the clutches of final exams and relentless bullying from the boys in your grade. Their obnoxious laughing and horrible demeaning jokes were irritating to your ears. Luckily, you saved enough money to get on a bus and find the biggest city you can afford an easier life in.
You paused as you managed to make it to the crosswalk without any mishaps. You were surprised those boys didn’t follow you down the street. You glanced behind you before you began hearing the distant sounds of thunder.
You blinked, looking towards the once clear-blue sky that became dark with the promise of a seemingly powerful storm. Stormy-gray clouds huddling together and mixing into a similar feeling of seafoam.
‘Shit, I better get to the station quickly.’ You thought to yourself.
Taking a second, you glanced at both sides of the street before starting to make your way safely across the blackened concrete.
Until the sudden flash of light practically blinding you and the recoil of something falling managed to knock you completely to the ground. Your books and binder that were once safely in your arms were now scattered across the pavement.
You groaned from the twinge of pain from landing on your tailbone and slight rashes from your palms scraping against the rough texture of the pavement when you tried catching yourself.
“Are you okay?” A boyish-tone asked you, making you glance towards the direction it was coming from.
There were two boys standing in front of what seemed to be a phone booth unlike anything you’ve seen around town when you used to make stops at the bank for your father. One was adorable with short curly-blonde hair in clothes that were too inappropriate to be seen around town. You’ve never seen a boy show so much stomach before. He was a little shorter than his friend standing next to him.
He was taller with disarranged black hair that ended to the base of his neck dressed in a mix of black and white paired with a colorful orange jacket. You realized it was him that asked the question. Hewas extremely cute and you found yourself blushing a little having been still sitting in the middle of the street.
Ted was equally as smitten, looking down at you as you sat there on the road dressed in attire deemed fit for the 50s. He felt extremely guilty for having his phone booth almost practically crush you. You were gorgeous and he felt himself grow a little flustered and a bit dazed.
You hesitated before replying, “Um, y-yeah.” You watched as the black-haired boy reached down and offered his hand to you which you took almost immediately. “I guess I wasn’t watching where I was going.”
Ted continued looking down at you, your hand still held in his own that he believed felt entirely right. Now, he knows how Romeo felt when he was forced to read that heinous book with Bill in English class.
“No! It’s totally our bad, dude.” Bill replied, helping with picking up your fallen books and returning them to you in your free arm. He could see the way Ted seemed to be in his own mind as he continued watching you. “I’m Bill and this is Ted.” He introduced themselves.
‘Dude?’
You were pulled from your trance and slowly removed your hand away from Ted’s with cheeks feeling warm. Your eyes drifted towards Bill while still feeling that electrifying feeling of the black-haired boy still looking at you.
“I’m Y/N.” You replied before looking at the phone booth placed in the middle of the street. “How did you guys get that here?” You asked confused, walking around them to take a closer look at the contraption.
  Ted went to reply, happy to tell you everything about the phone booth and the concepts of time travel that he understood, however Bill quickly cut him off. After their success at performing the most excellent oral report, Rufus advised them to be more cautious about telling other people about time travel, especially not in a very public setting.
“Think we can chat someplace a little more private?” Bill asked.
Ted was a little offended, shuffling as he wanted to be the one to introduce you to the fine advancements that time had to offer.  However, he knew Bill was right with making sure they were in a more private setting.
You glanced at Ted before replying, “There’s a café a little ways down the street, not very many people visit it. We could go there.”
“Excellent!” They exclaimed as they followed you down the road that you pointed towards with you in the middle.
____
You sat there, fiddling with your cup as you processed the information you were just told.
Apparently, time travel was possible and the two boys sitting across from you were originally from the eighties and have seen many important historical figures in the flesh. You were surprised you weren’t passing out yet.
“And…a phone booth was the best source of transportation?” You asked.
“I guess so.” Ted replied, “We broke it once and it’s not very spacious, most bogus indeed.”
Bill nodded in agreement.
Ted was a little anxious due to your reaction. He was hoping that you didn’t think they were insane and that you needed to get away or get the police! He really liked you and it would be totally bogus if you didn’t end up liking him back because you thought he was nuts.
However, he was surprised.
“When you return…could I possibly go with you?” You asked, continuing to fiddle with your cup rather than drinking the still warm liquid that was inside.
“You…want to go with us?” Ted asked instead, hoping he was hearing you correctly.
“Yeah..you see, I was actually on my way to the train station. I haven't had the best life here and wanted to go somewhere far away. But nothing is more far away than time itself!” You explained.
Ted felt a little bad for you, knowing that you must not have the best home life if you wanted to run away, consequences be damned. He shared a glance with Bill that only Bill seemed to understand.
Bill gave a small smile, “Sure you can!” He messed with his pocket before coming up with some change, some of which were completely outdated. “Oh…”
“I got it.” You chuckled before pulling out some of the money you were originally saving for your trip.
The three of you stood up and made your way back outside and towards the phone booth that was miraculously still there unbothered. You were a little anxious, now that you were leaving the place you once called home.
Suddenly, you felt something warm envelop your hand and you glanced down towards the source. The warm palm of Ted was holding onto yours and he gave you a warm smile when you glanced towards him.
“Everything will be fine, dude!” He said, giving your hand a small squeeze. “You’ll be fine with us!”
Your cheeks grew a little warm as you returned the squeeze, feeling your own smile return from the affectionate gesture and heart-warming words.
“I know I will” You replied as the three of you entered the phone booth.
Bill flicked through the pages before finding the correct number. “Ready?” He asked.
You glanced towards Ted and smiled more, giving his hand another squeeze.
“More than ready.”

what about ted logan with flirty!popular!reader?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(so this will basically be a mega loser!ted post)
teddy who has been in love with you since third grade but has been too scared to ever tell you. he's watched you grow older and date other people, leaving him feeling helpless and generally unworthy.
teddy who is assigned to work with you on an english oral presentation and the two of you hit it off magnificently.
teddy who consistently defends you against those who call you sleazy, or even worse, things like 'slut' and 'whore' as an insult. teddy who comes home with bruises and cuts on his face from starting a fight with some jocks at school who were talking about you in a sexual manner.
teddy who pouts while you clean said cuts and bruises, complaining that no one sees how amazing you are and how he wish they would, almost starting to rant on about how much he loves and adores you.
teddy who gladly joins you while shopping for clothes, giving real feedback (though he can't say much but "most excellent!" since you're gorgeous most of the time) and practically worshipping the ground you walk upon.
teddy who buys you flowers and gifts all the time, leaving them at the doorstep to your house because he's too embarrassed to give them to you himself.
teddy who gets extremely flustered whenever you compliment him, his music, or call him pet names like "pretty boy."
teddy, who just loves you for who you are really, whether or not you're pretty and popular <33

Ted Logan x Historic!Reader
Premise: Reader and Ted have been dating for a short while, but had met on one of Bill and Ted's many time adventures. Reader is from the past, and is going to her first Halloween party in 1992. Reader who was stuck with the expectations of women in the past who finally feels free to do as she pleases. Reader experiences 90s twenty-something culture to it's fullest with her wonderful boyfriend.
Tags/CW: Fluff, autumnal/halloween themed, boyfriend!ted, stoner!Ted + Bill, reader gets high but is a lightweight, drinking/drug mentions, anxious!reader, shy!reader, soft!ted, ted reassures reader and is the sweetest boyfriend, dancing the night away, ted tells you he loves you, ted who loves PDA.
Authors Note: tiny text just to save room, rest of post is normal. This one has surprisingly no smut, so if you've been wanting to read a cute, fluffy fic, this one is for you! I kept which part of the past reader is from vague so that you may fill that in as you like! ʚ♥︎ɞ
Tumblr media
The house is already lit up, the sounds of heavy metal blasting through the open windows, while the rustling of leaves crunch around your red heels. You look over to your boyfriend Ted with a bit of worry, trying to gauge his reaction. You haven't lived in San Dimas long, in fact, you haven't lived in 1992 for that long either. You still can't believe this loveable goof had dazzled you into his phone booth, taking you from the past and so far into the future. There are times where you wonder if it was the right move, but Ted has always assured you that he would take you right back home if you ever said the word.
And here you are, dressed as what Ted described as a "cartoon" character (which you're sort of becoming familiar with since he and Bill insist on their "Saturday morning cartoons") who supposedly solves mysteries of some sort. You think Ted looks pretty normal tonight, his shirt a particular shade a green and his pants a reddish brown. He completes the look with joint he has stashed behind his ear for later.
You pull your attention back to the big house, it seems almost abandoned, or at least well partied. Tonight, the barren trees outside sport toilet paper waving in the wind, and the orange glow from inside occasionally flashes to green or purple. The thump of Motley Crüe can be heard as you two walk up, and other twenty-somethings adorn the rickety porch their own costumes. Ted laughs as he greets someone dressed as Freddy Krueger (he made sure to get you up to date on your horror movies this month) with a chest bump before glancing down at you. He sees your worried expression and reaches to hold your hand.
"Don't worry babe, everyone's going to like, totally love you!" He smiles that earnest, puppy dog smile of his, and you feel some of the worry subside. You hold onto his hand as you enter the loud, crowded house.
Tumblr media
Vince Neil is just finishing his last 'Shout at The Devil' as you squeeze between two Ghostbusters to keep up with Ted. Everything here is so new and strange to you, you hardly understand half of the costumes, even with Bill and Ted spending extra time to keep you culturally in touch with the early 90s. The glow of the kitchen beckons Ted, and you follow.
Inside you see Bill, dressed up as in a giant brown dog suit. Ted sees him and immediately throws his arms open into a happy hug.
"Scoob!!" He yells to Bill, pretending to be in character for the moment. Bill responds with a 'Raggy!' and the two embrace with a smile.
When the two part, Bill looks over your costume approvingly.
"You make an awesome Velma!" He exclaims and throws up a hand to high five. You do so, getting better at the timing these little rituals require. You glance down at your orange sweater and short red skirt, feeling happy that you've overcome your first Halloween hurdle.
Bill and Ted begin talking, and you listen in. You've always been shy, even in your own timeline you were praised for being such a quiet and obedient child. Now, you feel happy to be around such a ray of sunshine like Ted, and he is always ready to oblige your want to listen more than talk when it comes to the social situations. He makes sure to check in, even without saying, like now, when he wraps a hand around your waist and pulls you closer with a quick kiss to the top of your head. He's never shy to give you PDA, and anyone who would feel bold enough to say something about it would be met with a happy indifference by Ted.
Eventually Bill pulls Ted, who in turn pulls you, towards the semi crowded living room. A couple is just getting up, the woman dragging her man longingly to the bathroom, so Bill let's you and Ted take their seat, Bill props himself happily up on the couches arm rest. The room is filled with smoke and laughter, and Ted gives your hand a warm squeeze and a look to make sure you're doing alright. You nod.
Even though the youth culture is so seemingly bizarre on the outside in this time, you know it's not all that much different from what you and your friends did back at home. People laugh into bottles of beer around you, and you remember the taste of the bitter liquid from your time as well. Ted pulls the joint from his ear at Bill's request, and Bill offers a helpful lighter from his jeans. They both take turns inhaling what the joint has to offer, holding it in their lungs, and releasing it to the orange streaked sky. The smoke swirls in the lights and the colors stream through it like hands through hair.
Ted passes it towards you. You pause for a moment. This substance is newer to you, but you've experimented with it with Ted before. Usually you would have a puff or two in the night, especially when Ted had gotten the next day off work from the Cheesy Pretzel. You were surprised to find you actually really enjoyed the feeling of 'being high' as Ted called it. And he was right to call it that, you quickly found.
You take the joint from Ted, giving a small puff, and trying to hold it like them, but ending up in a small coughing fit. Ted laughs a little at your lightweightness and rubs your back gently and kindly. You smile back at him when you've finally recovered, happy to be leading this young, strange, life. You pass the joint back to Bill and lean into the warmth of Ted's body.
You glance at the tiny TV before the couch, feeling your mind slowly getting more relaxed and thoughts slipping away one by one. The TV glows with the image of Laurie Strode having her own smoke session with in her friends car and you feel more connected to this time. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea after all. Even though sometimes you wonder if it was worth it to leave your whole life behind, moments like these, enclosed in your boyfriends arms, listening to his soft and happy chatter with friends, enjoying new and exciting life experiences, washed away any doubt. You can't believe how far you've come, how much expectations of your life you've lost. The hedonist in you is pleased, certainly.
You continue to quietly watch party goers until one of Ted's favorite songs comes on. He looks to you, his usual goofy smile appearing.
"Can I have this dance, m'lady?" He says with a laugh, despite not knowing if that's from your time or not. You find his humor and effort endearing, returning his smile and taking his outstretched hand.
He pulls you up gently, and moves to where others are enjoying the makeshift dancefloor. Dancing in this time is so different for you, but you laugh and try to follow Ted's movements, jumping about with him. He teaches you how to head bang to the fast song, his long hair a flurry about his fast when he does it. You copy him the best you can, but what matters most is how alive you feel right now. Whatever shell you had crawled into and begun to live in from your time was slowly cracking here, and Ted was the perfect light shining through those cracks.
You two continue to dance along to metal and rock, and you feel lighter with each jump. Soon enough, Ted pulls you in by your hips and places his forehead to yours as another song ends. Someone has to flip the tape, so the sound of the rest of the party is a blur in both your ears. He holds you close, obviously a bit worn out, but happy to be having such fun with you. You lean into his and he tilts your chin up for a kiss from his soft lips. You love when he does this, you had never been kissed before you met Ted, but now you feel as if he breathes more life into you with each one.
Ted pulls away and gazes into your eyes with a softness about him. He mouthes that he loves you, but when you miss what he said, he kisses up your neck to your ear, telling you his love with each kiss. You blush hard as he does this, shivers across your skin. You feel goosebumps under your orange sweater and have to adjust your fake glasses when he's done. He is blushing just as much as you, and you are grateful to be here with him.
The night continues and ends with laughs and fun for you and Ted, and you slowly find yourself not needing to think about the past, or future. You're here, in the present, with someone who loves you. That's all that matters.

Ted asking the reader out on a date and they r both super shy
Babe In The Records
Ted Logan x FEM!Reader
SUMMARY // You work at the record shop in the Sam Dimas mall and Ted finally finds the courage to ask you out..
TW // Fluff, Short and Sweet..
ALL GIFS FROM PINTEREST
I agree with Ted.. ya'll are the most bodacious babes ever!!
Tumblr media
Oh God.. there you were, just going through and organizing the records and tapes, and all Ted could do was stare.. He swore you were a goddess. Ted had met you when you were cleaning in the record store and he had bumped into you, quite literally.
The first time you met, Ted was literally running into the store, desperate to get a hold on the last Van Halen record before someone else did. Needless to say, he had mistook you for a buyer as you reached for the record and tackled you to the ground to reach it before you.. You were not impressed. You quickly explained to him that you were just moving it and that you worked at the record store. He felt pretty stupid after you told him that, bought the Van Halen record and quickly got out before he embarrassed himself more in front of you.
Ever since that first meeting, he's been wanting so desperately to make it up to you, and has tried to ask you out multiple times, but each time, he chickens out at the last moment.
But not today, oh no! Today is the day that he's gonna do it! (Though he tells himself this every time and never does..)
"Hey, dude! How's it hangin'!?" Ted asks cheerfully, bounding up to you like a golden retriever puppy.
You jump slightly, not expecting anyone to talk to you. You look up and see Ted, a big goofy smile on his adorably handsome face. You sigh and smile back. His cheerful self always made your day so much better..
"Today's been slow, but that's better than totally packed, I guess," you reply with a small smile, a tint of a blush running across your face, "but what about you, Ted? How're you?"
"Better now that I'm in the presence of a totally bodacious babe," Ted grins, but dies on the inside. Why did he say that's, she's gonna think he's weird, everyone does!
You laugh and blush, bashfully looking down, suddenly interested in the sneakers on your feet and smiling stupidly.
"Aww.. that's sweet Ted, but you don't have to butter me up, you know I have a soft spot for you. So, what do you need?" You ask, placing a hand on your hip, waiting for a request from him.
"W-would you like to, uh.." Ted trails off, blushing wildly, looking everywhere but at you. He shuffles a bit and takes a deep breath before speaking again.
"Would you wanna go and get a cheese pretzel with me some time..?" Ted asks shyly, his cheeks a bright red in embarrassment.
A huge smile forms on your lips, and you nod, excitement rushing through your body, your brain and heart both screaming at you to say something.
"Yeah! Yes, I'd love to Ted!" You bounce on the balls of your feet happily.
Ted's eyes light up at your response and does the biggest air guitar gesture of his entire life, so happy that you didn't reject him.
After he stops doing air guitar, he takes your hands in his, squeezing them lightly.
"Okay! Next time you're free, we'll go and get a cheese pretzel together, and we could chill at my house after and listen to some wicked tunes, yeah?" Ted says all in one breath, the doofy smile on his face never ceasing.
"That sounds awesome, Ted. I'm free on Saturday, okay?" You laugh at his enthusiasm. Not to make fun of him, but in pure unadulterated joy.
"Excellent! Meet me back here at the mall and we'll have the most excellent time, Babe!" He gives you a quick, sweet kiss on the cheek before running off back home to plan more for your totally wicked date.

Tumblr media
Poly Bill and Ted x female time traveler reader
Hello!! I prefer either of those names but thank you so much for being considerate, either or is fine <3 Yes, I do write for female readers as well, and that’s exactly what I will do for this fic. I think it’s super cool that you want to use my writing as an example of your work, that’s super influential to me!!! I tried my best with this fic and I really hope that you enjoy, best of wishes to you and your work!<3 -Ghost
“Ted, my dear friend, I think she’s dead.” That was the first thing you heard him say. It was super bright for some reason.
“Well, is she breathing?” The other one asked, for some reason, you recognized the voice.
“I don’t know Ted.” Wait a minute, Ted was here? Finally you open your eyes to see two blurry figures looking down at you.
“She’s opening her eyes.” You hazily sit up and look at them. Your lovers, except younger. It was them, you knew it had to be. They looked and sounded, even talked like them.
“Bill? Ted? What’s going on.” The two boys looked at each other and then back to you.
“You know our names?” The taller one asked. Okay, hold on, what had happened before you got here, try and remember. Oh! That’s it! Some random guy approached you and started talking about how you needed to go back in time and make sure that you met your husbands as a teenager. That’s what happened. So, what to do now?
“I-, my cousin, yeah my cousin knows you two. I think you go to high school together.”
“Ohhh, that makes sense.” The one with curly blonde hair, Bill, reached his hand out to you, helping you up.
“I’ve never seen you around before?” Quick to make up a lie, you responded.
“I’m a distant relative visiting, I don’t live around here. Anyways, my cousin has showed me yearbooks, I think I saw you two in it.”
“Most excellent, who’s your cousin?” Ted was very interested in finding out who you were, makes sense though. You did just wake up in front of them and state that you recognized them, kind of creepy.
“Her name is Y/N” The boys looked at each other and you could see the lightbulb in their heads go off.
“Yeah, we know Y/N!”
“She is a most excellent babe.”
“Are you two friends with her?” You ask, wondering if they had already knew you at this point.
“I think she’s in our history class. She offers tutoring to us sometimes, our history teacher is most heinous.”
You knew exactly what they were talking about, you had offered to help them pass multiple times, you were crushing on the boys at the time.
“You guys should hang out more, she seems to think you guys are super cool.”
The blonde looked at his taller boyfriend, “she does? Excellent!” They both air guitar at each other, an action that you would eventually learn to love seeing them do.
“Don’t tell Y/N that I ran into you two, she’ll kill me.”
The two nodded in sync.
You said goodbye to the two and parted ways, you sat down and looked at your wedding ring, knowing you had done what you needed to do, a voice comes from behind you. The guy from earlier.
“You ready to go back?”
“Totally.”
When you open your eyes again, you’re in your room, in your bed, with your boys. You smile to yourself and think back to the encounter. Ted leans further onto your shoulder lightly snoring, Bill looks up at you.
“Go back to sleep, it’s too early-“
You laugh, quietly as to not wake Ted up.
“Alright, alright. Scoot over.”
Meanwhile back in 1986*
“So, she looked a lot like Y/N.” Ted looked down at Bill.
“Maybe she was from the future, she sounded like her too. Maybe she’s our future wife.”
“That’s the smartest thing you’ve said today, Ted. She was definitely our future wife.”
The two smiled at each other and made their way to their current times Y/N, content with knowing that they’d still be together after everything.

I’m in Love With a Fairytale
I’m so excited to be writing for the Bill and Ted fandom again, and this request helped me out of my writer’s block! As always gif and characters are not mine, and I hope you all enjoy!
Description: Bill and Ted go back in time to find information for a paper on Pompeii, and Ted falls hard for the reader. However, their love takes a disastrous turn
Warnings: angst, technically reader death even though it’s not described, if I miss anything let me know
Tumblr media
Bill and Ted were renowned across San Dimas for their presentation featuring historical figures, and while they were both happy to not fail their history class and be kicked out of school, the bar would never be lowered for them again.
“Our paper is due in twenty-four hours, Ted! We can’t mess this up or our reputations will take a most heinous turn,” Bill commented as he paced the floor.
“All we have to do is convince Rufus to lend us the time machine again,” Ted added as he swiveled around in Bill’s desk chair. “We can just grab someone from Pompeii and bring them back here for an interview!”
“That’s a most excellent idea, Ted! Rufus can’t say no to us.” The two ended the conversation with synchronized air guitars before running down the stairs to call Rufus. The time traveler from the future had left his number for Bill and Ted in case they needed assistance, and what better time to call than now.
“For the last time, you two, I can’t allow you to go to Pompeii.” Rufus tried to explain to Bill and Ted. Pompeii was classified as a treacherous time zone, and that meant going there could not only destroy the time machine, but change the course of history forever. “I’m sorry, but it’s protocol.”
Bill groaned as he shook his head, the plastic house phone clutched near his ear. “Please Rufus, you said it yourself that if we fail any of our classes, our band will fall apart. One interview and then we’ll leave.”
Ted stole the phone from Bill. “Yeah! We will be in and out faster than you can say time machine!”
“Fine, but do be careful. I’m sending the time machine to you now.” Rufus sighed as he hung up on his end, leaving Bill and Ted to celebrate their success. The time machine arrived moments after, remnants of sparks gliding along the grassy front lawn of Bill’s home. The two entered the phone booth and dialed the number for Pompeii. A warning screen appeared above the dial for the phone, the warning “DO YOU WISH TO PROCEED TO TREACHEROUS TIME ZONE” spelled out in green virtual font. Ted clicked the accept button, and the time machine glided along the bumpy currents of time.
“Woah,” Bill and Ted uttered in unison as they stepped out of the time machine. Pompeii never seemed to end, and it was definitely bigger than San Dimas. The terracotta colored roofs and dark green trees that were planted near the buildings were different compared to the dry, drab environment that Bill and Ted were used to. The duo decided to head towards the center of town to find the right person to interview for their paper.
The marketplace circulated many townspeople by the second, some of them arguing about prices or stealing straight from the booths. Several people gave Bill and Ted odd looks, but they were used to suspicious glances after their previous adventures through time. “Alright Ted, keep your eyes peeled for anyone interesting. Let’s try…” Bill stopped when he noticed that Ted did not hear a single word he was saying. Ted was staring at someone in the distance, and Bill looked to see what was distracting his best friend so much. A person around their age busied themselves with restocking their booth, an array of pottery detailed with intricate designs lined the table in front of them. Before Bill could say anymore to Ted, he was already halfway to the booth.
“Did you make these?” Ted asked as the person raised their head.
“Yes, I did make all these myself. The ones at the front were finished this morning.” The person smiled as they put down the final vase onto the display. They studied the young man in front of them. “Where are your clothes from?”
“The San Dimas Mall! It is a righteous place, and they have great deals!” Ted realized that this person didn’t even know about San Dimas, and he had to recover quickly before he blew his chance. “My name’s Ted. It’s nice to meet you.” Ted offered them his hand, and after an instant of hesitation, they offered their hand as well.
“Greetings, Ted. My name is Y/N.”
“That is a most bodacious name.”
Bill approached Ted and tried to pull him away from the stall. ‘Come on, Ted! We don’t have time to flirt with babes!” Ted remained where he was as he shook Bill’s hand off his shoulder. Bill had witnessed that look in Ted’s eyes only once before. Back in seventh grade, Ted had the biggest crush on the President of the Debate Team, and he admired them from afar for years. Ted did not fall for people often, but when he did, he fell hard. “Okay, you interview them and learn about what business is like here, and I will find some others to talk to. Meet me back here before sunset.” Bill wandered off and disappeared within the masses, leaving Ted and Y/N alone.
“I need to interview someone for my history paper. Would you care to join me for a walk?” Ted waited in anticipation for Y/N’s answer. Rejection for Ted happened more times than he could count, but he still prayed that this one would work out.
“That would be lovely! Historical papers are an interest of mine.” Y/N moved through the narrow doorway positioned behind the stand, and Ted could hear them talking to someone in the room. Y/N came back outside and called out a final goodbye. “Follow me. There is a quiet garden outside of town where we can talk in peace.”
Ted eagerly followed Y/N, who seemed to pass through the crowds with the grace of a dancer. At one point, Ted almost lost sight of them, but Y/N noticed the loss of his presence immediately and stopped. Y/N grabbed Ted’s hand as they smirked. “Just a little further. I can’t lose you before I have the chance to tell you all that I am able.”
The garden was spacious and yet secluded as Y/N had said, and they let go of Ted’s hand before taking a seat under a pomegranate tree. They patted the grass beside them, and Ted clumsily fell by their side. Y/N giggled at his antics as they leaned back on their arms. “What do you wish to know about Pompeii, Ted?
Ted spent the rest of the afternoon asking Y/N questions about their life, but eventually the questions diverted from historical to personal. There was something about Y/N’s voice that sounded prettier than any love song Ted had ever heard, and he would do anything to hear more of it. Sadly, their time together was cut shorter than he wanted. “Oh no, I must head home or my father will kill me,” Y/N said as they stood up.
“Could we meet here again tomorrow? I have more questions to ask you.” Actually, Ted had plenty of information for the paper, but the question he wanted to ask the most he was too scared to say. By tomorrow he would muster up the courage to ask Y/N if they wanted to come back to San Dimas with him. Until then, Ted knew something that he could do. “Y/N, have you ever played an instrument before?”
“No, but my uncle is skilled at playing the harp. Why do you ask?” Y/N was slightly worried about the agitated words their father would say when they returned home, and yet their curiosity kept their feet anchored in place. Ever since this strange young man named Ted appeared at their stall earlier that day, Y/N felt a pull towards him. Could this be the feeling that they had heard so many tales about?
“Well see, there’s this thing that my friend Bill and I do whenever we are super stoked about something. All you have to do is pretend to play a guitar like this.” Ted demonstrated his air guitar for Y/N, who looked at him with a puzzled but intrigued expression.
“I believe I understand what you mean,” Y/N stepped closer to Ted as they attempted to mimic his actions. It was stiff and uncoordinated, but Ted could tell that Y/N tried their best. “Was that correct?”
“Not exactly, but here let me show you.” Ted closed the rest of the space between him and Y/N and took their arms in his hands. His touch was gentle as he moved Y/N’s arms to show them what a proper air guitar looked like. Despite the educational intent behind Ted’s actions, Y/N felt a warmth creeping into their cheeks, the pinkish color hidden by the darkness that slowly covered the garden. Ted backed away and allowed Y/N to give it another go. This time, they were much more successful.
“That was a most excellent air guitar, Y/N! I could not have done better myself.” Ted grinned from ear to ear, and Y/N smiled just as much. The garden’s only light came from the moon above, and the earlier worries Y/N had returned to them. “Thank you for the lesson, Ted, but I must be going now. Until tomorrow!” Y/N headed for the entrance of the garden, but they quickly turned back and left a quick kiss on Ted’s cheek before finally heading home. Ted left shortly after and arrived at the spot where Bill wanted to meet. The blonde sat on a bench with his arms crossed.
“You’re lucky that you’re my best friend, or I would be most angry with you right now.” Bill grumbled as he tried to keep up his angry expression, but a huge grin replaced his scowl as he sprung up from the stone seat. “So, did you kiss them?!”
“No, but we are meeting at the same place tomorrow!”
“Excellent! I found a spot where we can hide out until tomorrow, and we can plot the perfect game plan for you to ask Y/N out on a proper date.” That night, Ted fell asleep the moment his head hit the straw-stuffed sack that Bill found in the barn they were staying in, and he dreamed of the delightful conversations that he would have with Y/N.
The next day came, and Ted ran out of the barn as soon as the sun reached its peak in the sky. Bill stayed behind to catch up on reading about Pompeii in the school textbook. Not only that, but he also did not want to ruin Ted’s date with Y/N. When Ted entered the garden, he noticed that Y/N arranged a picnic for the two of them under the pomegranate tree. “I brought what I could, and while it is no feast, surely it will do.” Y/N said as Ted assembled his own plate of food.
Once they had finished eating, Ted swallowed his nerves as he tried to ask the big question. “Y/N, how would you-”
“Ted! Ted I’ve gotta tell you something!” Bill stormed into the garden, startling both Ted and Y/N.
“Can’t this wait, Bill? I was just about to ask Y/N something.” Ted felt annoyed, but the fear on Bill’s face meant that something had to be wrong. “Excuse me, Y/N. I’ll be right back.” Ted followed Bill to the edge of the garden where they could talk in private. Y/N remained under the tree, staring up at the leaves happily. “This had better be good Bill, or you owe me one.”
“Do you remember why our teacher wanted us to write about Pompeii,” Bill asked as he flipped to that section of the history textbook.
“No, did it have something to do with the beauty of this city?” Ted answered as he looked over at Y/N.
“Not exactly, Ted. Pompeii was destroyed by a volcanic eruption on August 24th, 79 A.D. That’s today! Rufus warned us that this was a treacherous time zone, and now we know why! We have to leave right now before we turn into literal toast!”
“Just let me say goodbye to Y/N. If I tell them what’s about to happen, they’ll want to come with us.” Ted ran back over to Y/N and pulled them up from their blanket. “Y/N, I know this is sudden, but you have to come back to San Dimas with Bill and I. Something terrible is about to happen, and I can’t leave you behind.”
Y/N’s mouth hung open as they tried to process what was going on. “What do you mean? I can not leave my father alone. We have a business to run, and there is nothing to fear in this city. My place is here in Pompeii, Ted.”
“I love you, Y/N. And if you feel the same, then you have to come with me.” Ted reached for Y/N’s arm, but they jerked their limb back. Y/N’s eyes brimmed with tears as they took another step away.
“And I love you as well, Ted, but leaving now is not possible. I do not know your reason for wanting to leave, but no matter where you are going, it will have to be without me. Nevertheless, take this with you to remember me by.” Y/N removed the necklace they were wearing and placed it in Ted’s hand, closing his fingers and holding his palm closed. “My mother gave this to me, and she told me that when the time was right I would be able to give it to the one I love. Who would be more deserving than the stranger who stole my heart.”
Tears rolled down Y/N’s cheeks, and Ted brushed them away with his free hand. Ted pressed his lips to Y/N’s, a few tears escaping his own eyes as they shared the only passionate exchange they would ever have. The kiss ended, and the two simply gazed at each other for the last time. “I will never forget you, Y/N.”
“And I will never forget you, Ted.”
“Ted, it's time to go!” Bill shouted as Ted reluctantly followed his call. Y/N was sobbing now, but even in sadness their smile never faltered. They showed off their new air guitar skills to Ted, and he sent the best air guitar of his life in return. Ted walked away from the love of his life, and just like Orpheus leaving the underworld, he could not turn around for fear that his Euridice would pull him to his death.
Bill and Ted stepped into the time machine, and Bill dialed the number as the ground beneath them shook from a volcanic rumble. Ted rested his back against the glass wall, his coffee-colored eyes focused solely on the floor. “Ted, are you crying,” Bill questioned as the time machine traveled on and left Pompeii behind.
“Shut up, Bill! I’m not crying.” The glimmering trails of despair told Bill otherwise, and he understood that his friend needed some time to recover. Months passed, and while Bill and Ted aced their paper on Pompeii, an amazing grade wasn’t enough to mend Ted’s heart. Bill found Ted one afternoon hunched over his desk, scribbling rhythms and words onto a scrap piece of paper.
“What’s that for, Ted?”
“It’s a ballad about Y/N. I wish I told them how I felt the first night we met, and maybe they would be with me now.” Ted could feel the prick of tears blurring his vision, so he put more focus onto the song to keep from crying more than he already had the past few months.
“I know that this will be a most righteous song, and Y/N would love it.” Bill was right about the song becoming a hit. In fact, it became the most popular song that Bill and Ted’s band ever created. While Ted could not be with the one he loved, at least he had a melody to remind him of the wonderful stories he heard from Y/N, who to him was the only beautiful person in all of Pompeii.

Whoa...Triplets?! (Bill & Ted Imagine)
This was requested.
Summary: Bill & Ted are going to be dads, but the biggest surprise is yet to come.
This is pretty short, but I hope you all enjoy it!
Tumblr media
It was no secret that Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan were the best of friends. You could even almost say they were like brothers. They did almost everything together. That even included proposing to their girlfriends at the same time and having a double wedding, which was pretty interesting. Joanna and Elizabeth didn’t seem to mind at all. In fact, they were all for it. They were a tight-knit group after all.
After Bill and Ted married the princesses, they started focusing even more on their music and it wasn’t long till they were finally at a level of success that they’d only dreamed of reaching. Wyld Stallyns found themselves playing sold out stadiums, which was a far cry from when they were playing in Bill’s garage.
Once Bill and Ted had achieved such a feat, they each decided it was time for them to do something else to make their lives even more excellent...start a family of their own. The two men really didn’t plan this one out amongst each other. Bill just knew he was ready to start a family and Ted just so happened to know the same.
It really shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise when Joanna and Elizabeth became pregnant around the same time. However, it did come as a shock to Bill and Ted.
“Whoa, dude, I didn’t know you were going to start a family!” Ted had exclaimed when Bill had given him the news. “You never told me!”
“You never told me you were going to start a family either, dude,” Bill had retorted. “This is most...bizarre.”
If Bill thought that that was bizarre then he was really in for a treat when the news came that Joanna was having not one, but three babies. That’s right...triplets, but that wasn’t even the bizarre part. That would come later.
“Dude, you will never believe what I just found out!” Bill exclaimed as he came running into the music studio one day.
Ted was already there, strumming away on his guitar, which he had obviously become much better at through time. He was finally a very talented musician just like his idol, Eddie Van Halen.
“What’s up?” Ted asked as he stopped playing his guitar to give his full attention to his best friend.
“Me and Joanna just found out that she’s having triplets!” Bill yelled out in excitement. “That means three babies, Ted!”
“Whoa...triplets?!” Ted asked, feeling shocked at the news. His best friend was about to be a father to three babies. “Dude, you’re going to be a dad to three kids...I’m going to be an uncle to three kids. This is most excellent!”
Bill started to do their signature air guitar move while Ted used his actual guitar because it was right there after all.
It wasn’t long after that that Ted found out some exciting news himself. This is where it really gets bizarre. He honestly didn’t know if he was more shocked or excited, however. He knew just the person to tell the news to first.
“Bill, dude, you will never believe this,” Ted said on the phone with his best friend.
“Ted, we literally went time traveling in a phone booth and our wives come from the Iron Maiden days and I’m not talking the band! I think I can believe a lot more than you think.”
“That’s a good point,” Ted commented. “Anyways, me and Elizabeth just came back from her ultrasound and it turns out that we’re having triplets too!”
“Seriously, dude?!” Bill exclaimed. Okay, maybe this was a bit hard to believe. How was it that the both of them would be having triplets and at the same time? “No way! We’re both going to be dads to triplets?!”
“Yeah!” Ted yelled. “Dude, do you realize that we’re having like a whole band?!”
“Whoa! I didn’t even think about it like that, Ted. This is most excellent! Maybe they can all start their own band when they’re old enough. Might even be better than us!”
“I don’t know if I should be excited or worried about that,” Ted commented as he pulled a confused face. “Well, I gotta go. Elizabeth is hungry and if I don’t get her a pizza ordered soon then she might literally bite my head off.”
“Ah, pregnancy cravings,” Bill replied, understanding that completely since he was in the same boat with Joanna. “I’ll talk to you later, dude.”
“Later, Bill,” Ted said and hung up the phone then immediately called in a pizza for his wife.
Bill and Ted definitely seemed to do everything together, but they both had not expected this. However, they thought it was most excellent and couldn’t be more happy. Besides, they were more than excited to jam out with their kids and to start another band when they were old enough to learn how to play. They were sure their kids would be fans of rock music. Their fathers were rock stars after all.

-Love Deidra
Tumblr media
Deidra Goldberg smiled and rolled her eyes as she watched her best friends and band mates Bill S. Preston Esquire and Ted “Theodore” Logan jam out on their guitars after introducing themselves as the ‘Wild Staylions”; just like they always did at every band practice.
It was after school on a Thursday afternoon and Deidra and the guys were holding their weekly band practice in Bill’s garage.
Deidra was the third and only girl, member in the band playing the drums and Bill and Ted always teased her that she was going to be the next Karen Carpenter, especially after watching her play as well as she did.
On this day, Deidra was glad Bill’s dad and stepmom Missy were out of town for the week because if they had been home, Bill’s dad would already be downstairs complaining about the noise.
The house always vibrated and shook when Bill and Ted played their guitars and Deidra could have sworn that she heard several things break from inside the house.
She couldn’t even tell if what she felt was just the house vibrating or her phone in her jeans pocket.
Pulling out her phone, Deidra saw a text from her best girlfriend Emily asking what she was doing. With a grin and a shake of her head, Deidra texted back:
‘Watching as Bill and Ted cause an earthquake. What about you?”
A few moments later Emily texted back: “Lol Working on history homework 🤮”
Deidra texted back: “You poor soul. Practice will be over in another half hour. You want me to come over and help you?”
“Yes plz!” Emily texted back. “You’re a lifesaver!”
Deidra grinned and texted back a kiss emoji, telling Emily she’d see her then.
She was just about to put her phone back in her pocket when she noticed the guitars and vibrating had stopped.
“Who’re you talking to?” Bill asked Deidra, a grin on his face with Ted looking as well with his own signature cute, goofy grin.
Deidra almost jumped a mile at the sound of her friend’s voice, a blush creeping up on her face as she put her phone away.
“Emily”, she replied as she stood up, walking over to her drum set she kept in Bill’s garage and sitting down on the small, wooden stool.
She took her drumsticks in her hands before playing a small drum riff. “She wanted to see what I was up to.”
Ted noticed the soft blush on his best friend’s cheeks and gave him a teasing grin.
“Did she ask about Bill?” he asked Deidra in a teasing voice.
“Shut, up Ted”, Bill said through clenched teeth, his face getting redder as he put his guitar strap back on.
Ted smiled at Deidra and she smiled back, laughing a little.
They both knew Bill had a big crush on Emily only he was too shy to say much of anything to her.
Whenever the trio were at school and Emily came over to talk to Deidra, Bill would almost immediately start blushing and sweating while fumbling on his words as Emily said hi to him.
As a result, Bill would wave goodbye before running off.
~~~
“Bill”, Deidra said after practice had ended for the day.
The trio were now sitting outside Bill’s open garage having a snack of barbecue chips and Coke, Metallica’s Enter Sandman playing quietly on the large stereo inside the garage.
“Why don’t you just talk to Emily?” she smiled softly and took a small sip of her drink, a thought crossing her mind. “What do you think she’s gonna do?” Deidra teased. “Bite you?”
“No!” Bill replied, circling his finger around the rim of his Coke can nervously as he thought about Emily. “It’s just that…well, s-she’s just…so-so pretty.”
A small smile crossed his features as he pictured Emily’s long blonde hair and beautiful smile as she walked down the hall in between classes.
He thought about the way her blue eyes shined and in Bill’s opinion, her eyes put the stars in San Dimas to shame at night.
“Really…. really pretty”, Bill added dreamily as he found himself drifting off into space.
“Well, Deidra’s pretty!” Ted spoke up, causing Deidra’s heart to skip a beat, her own face growing hot. “And you can talk to her just fine, Dude!”
Deidra felt herself sweating as she rubbed the back of her neck nervously, her heart beating faster.
When it came to crushes, Deidra knew exactly what Bill was feeling.
She herself harvested a secret crush on Ted that she had been keeping to herself ever since the trio had started at San Dimas High a couple years ago.
The trio have known each other since first grade and became the best of friends ever since, but it wasn’t until their freshman year of high school that Deidra began to think of Ted as more than just a best friend.
At times all she wanted to do was tell Ted how she felt: how cute she thought he looked when his long, dark hair fell in his face, how his chocolate brown eyes lit up whenever he was excited about something, and how he was so kind, so loving…so…so-
Deidra was brought out of her thoughts at the sound of the volume of Metallica’s hit song intensifying.
Bill and Ted were now in the pathway of the garage, Ted’s hand on the volume dial.
“Here comes my favorite part!” Ted cried as he made eye contact with Bill who had an equally excited smile on his face.
“Excellent!” the boys cried out in perfect unison before doing their signature air guitar move.
 (A/N: I recommended listening to 2:42-3:57 as you read the next bit 🥰 )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxRxd8aNd6I
Deidra watched with a smile as Bill and Ted ran back out to the front of the garage, Coke cans in hand as the ground beneath them began to vibrate due to the heavy bass of Metallica’s guitar and drum riffs.
The boys mimicked the guitar’s long instrumental break, sliding on the pavement as if they were preforming an actual concert.
Deidra smiled and slightly shook her head.
They were dorks all right, but they were her dorks and she wouldn’t trade her friendship with them for anything in the world.
When the guitar break ended,  being replaced by the sound of drums, Bill and Ted jumped back on their feet, striking dramatic poses as well as serious, dark expressions as the drums in the song increased and the guitar riffs grew darker, Ted tapping his foot to the beat as his and Bill’s heads hung low.
“Now I lay me down to sleep”, Ted recited, matching James Hetfield’s tone of voice perfectly, using his Coke can as a microphone.
“Now I lay me down to sleep”, Bill repeated in his normal voice, doing the same with his can.
“I pray the Lord my soul to keep”, Ted continued, slowly making eye contact with his best friend though each passing line of the prayer.
“I pray the Lord my soul to keep”, Bill echoed.
“If I die before I wake…”
“If I die before I wake…”
“I pray the Lord my soul to take.”
“I pray the Lord my soul to take.”
“Hush little baby don’t say a word!” Ted sang after striking another quick pose.
He whipped his head to match the two beats in between, his dark hair flying before landing in his face, making him look mysterious and his eyes shining didn’t help matters much.
Deidra gulped and wiped her forehead with the back of her hand.
Sure, it was hot out here…but when did it suddenly get hotter?
“And never mind that noise you heard!”
Ted whipped his head a couple more times before Bill took the next line, striking another pose as well. “It’s just the beasts under your bed!” he sang before moving closer to Ted so they could share the same Coke can.
“In your closet in your head!” the boys belted out in perfect unison before downing their drinks and tossing them into the open trashcan, the cans landing inside with ease.
Bill and Ted threw their heads back as the song’s chorus played on before looking at each other and busting out laughing, returning to their fold-out chairs.
“You guys are crazy”, Deidra laughed with a smile before finishing her soda.
“Oh, yeah?” Bill asked giving her a teasing smirk before tackling her in a headlock, causing Deidra to laugh even harder.
“You’re the crazy one for hanging out with a couple crazies like us, Dudette.”
“Dog pile!” Ted cried happily as he tackled his friends.
Ted quickly scrambled beside Bill and started giving Deidra a noogie.
Now, you might be thinking to yourself: what girl would allow herself to wrestle around with her two best guy friends as if she were one of the boys?
A girl who has an older twin brother and a younger brother, that’s who.
Yup, Deidra was a middle child between her older twin brother Barry, older sister Erica, and little brother Adam so she was pretty used to rolling around in the dirt or wrestling with her friends.
She watched her brothers do it all the time.
Ted pulled Deidra a bit closer against him in order to give her a harder noogie and it was then that Deidra had to stop for a moment and notice the strong, wonderful scent of Ted’s cologne that was lingering off his clothes.
God, he smelled so good!
‘We’re off the Never-Neverland’ came the song from inside the garage, and as if on cue, the trio started laughing harder as they fell backwards, losing their balances as the song came to an end.
“Oh, man!” Deidra laughed as she struggled to catch her breath, her head under Bill and Ted’s chins. “Y-You guys are a couple of nut-jobs!”
“That’s us!” Ted agreed with a goofy smile, Bill nodding in agreement.
“Yup!” Bill added. “That’s us, nut-jobs!”
He gave Ted a high-five.
As they all tried to catch their breaths, Deidra blushed at the sound of Ted’s fast-paced heartbeat in her ears.
Oh, how she wanted so badly to kiss his neck and lovingly caress his chest…to tell him she loved him.
She could have laid right there forever.
To her, the sound of Ted’s heart beating was like a beautiful, romantic harp song that only she could understand.
“Hey, Dee”, Ted spoke up, his voice tearing into her thoughts. She was noticing his heart rate slowing back to normal. “Weren’t you supposed to help Emily with something?”
Deidra’s eyes popped open, her fantasies vanishing like a puff of smoke as the beautiful harp song scratched to a stop.
“Shit!” she cried. “You’re right!”
Hurrying to her feet, Deidra noticed that the afternoon sun was starting to set.
Quickly pulling out her phone, she saw that it was 6:26 p.m. which means that Emily had called her three hours ago!
“Oh, man!” Deidra cried. “Emily’s never gonna let me hear the end of this!”
“Tell her I said hey!” Ted called good-naturally as Deidra started running down Bill’s driveway.
“Oh, sure!” Deidra called back as she came to a halt. “If she lets me get a word in anyhow!”
Bill gave Deidra a smile.
“Are you and Emily coming to my party tomorrow night?” he called.
Ever since Bill got word that his dad and Missy were going out of town, only one thought came to his mind: throwing the best party San Dimas has ever seen!
The teen had been planning this party since the end of the trio’s last year of junior high and now that it was finally going to become a reality, Bill was totally prepared and ready for anything.
The party was all Bill talked about ever since his dad and Missy shut the front door last Saturday afternoon.
‘I don’t have time for this, Bill!’ Deidra thought to herself.
“I’ll double check with Emily and she if wants to come!” Deidra called, “but I know I’ll be there for sure! See you guys in school tomorrow! Stay excellent, guys!”
And with that she was off.
As she ran off to her best friend’s house, Deidra smiled as she thought about Bill and Ted and how fun they were to be around.
She wouldn’t trade their friendship for anything in the world and she was confident nothing could ever ruin that, but at the funny feeling in her stomach as she thought about Ted, Deidra wasn’t so sure.
‘Oh, c’mon now!” Deidra told herself. “You guys have been friends for so long, nothing can break that.”
She smiled as she turned a corner, closer to Emily’s street and for the first time since she developed feelings for Ted, Deidra was feeling pretty good about the bond she had with Bill and Ted.
They have seen each other through all kinds of fights as well as good times and bad.
It felt as if they had been through everything together and when you’ve been through what you feel like are the hardest times in your life with your closest friends by your side, nothing’s impossible.
Well, that’s exactly what Deidra was feeling and thinking as she knocked on Emily’s front door.
However, if those feelings would remain the same in the next 24-hours’ time, Deidra was about to find out.
Hey! Could you do a headcanon for Keanu Reeves' characters, where the (female) reader is like Nimona, in terms of powers and personality?
If not that's ok!
Thanks!
Headcanon for Keanu Reeves' Characters with a Nimona-like (Shapeshifting powers and a bit of a playful personality) Reader: A/N: Ended up doing some homework for this one, lol. I really liked Nimona's character so this was really cute. I did my best and I hope you enjoy :)
Tumblr media
John Wick: John Wick couldn't believe his eyes the first time he witnessed your shapeshifting abilities. It was during a mission where he found himself in a tight spot, and that's when you showed up in your badass glory. He had heard whispers about someone who could change their form at will, but nothing prepared him for the sight of you seamlessly transforming from a black cat to a wolf and then into a hawk in a matter of seconds. To John, your personality was a perfect match for your powers. You had that same unyielding determination that John had, but you added a touch of whimsy and playfulness to his stoic demeanor. You loved to mess with your targets by taking on absurd or terrifying forms, keeping them on their toes. John couldn't help but be amused by your antics, even in the direst situations. Together, you formed a formidable duo, combining his legendary gun-fu skills with your shape-shifting prowess. Your teamwork was unmatched, and the criminal underworld learned to fear both John Wick and the enigmatic shape-shifting partner who toyed with their expectations.
Ted "Theodore" Logan: Bill and Ted were used to strange things happening, but when they met you, it was a whole new level of weird. With your shapeshifting abilities, you could turn into any historical figure or famous musician at the drop of a hat. You were always up for crazy adventures and loved to jam with Bill and Ted on their wild time-traveling journeys. With your remarkable shapeshifting talents, you seamlessly became a substitute for Ted whe he wasn’t confident about a crucial history test. Your mimicry of Ted's mannerisms and speech was so uncanny that even Bill couldn't tell the difference so taking the test would be no problem. Ted couldn’t thank you enough for helping him like that.  Your free-spirited, playful nature meshed perfectly with Ted's outlook on life. Together, you created a most excellent, time-traveling band, bringing music and laughter to every era you visited.
John Constantine: John Constantine's expertise in dealing with demons and the occult made him a formidable force. His life was filled with danger and darkness until he encountered you. Constantine was no stranger to the supernatural, but your abilities were a new kind of magic that intrigued and perplexed him. Meeting you on one of his occult investigations, he couldn't help but be impressed by your capacity to turn into different creatures. With your ability to shapeshift at will, became a mysterious and unpredictable ally in John's battle against the forces of darkness. Your transformations often surprised him, but he quickly learned to appreciate the unique advantages you brought to your dangerous encounters. Your playful personality was a refreshing contrast to Constantine's brooding demeanor. You'd change into various forms to distract John when he was particularly stress, getting a much needed laugh out of him. Over time, John Constantine found himself drawn to your free spirit, even though he'd never admit it. Your ability to bring a little chaos into his world made him question the constant darkness that had shrouded his life. Together, you faced the horrors of the supernatural realm, and your shapeshifting powers and fearless nature added a touch of whimsy to your relentless fight against the unknown.
Poly!Bill and Ted With Nerdy!Reader HCs
TW: few curse words
Tumblr media
You all met when the teacher assigned you as their partner during a project because you were doing well in the class and they were...not.
Spending time with them, you all quickly realized how much you all had in common with each other.
Bill and Ted were instantly in love, confiding in each other about their feelings and realizing that they both wanted to date you.
Which wasn't a problem, they were the first boys that liked the same things you did and it isn't hard to fall for them with their adorable nature.
It was only a few months before you all actually went on a date.
While they may not be nerds, Bill and Ted are complete dorks. You would fit right in with this relationship with them.
If you're a nerd that enjoys science-fiction based media, Star Wars for example, that's extra brownie points in their book.
Bill and Ted love Star Wars, so if you loved it as well, they would be so happy and you'll would watch it together at least three times.
Yes, that means you will also be quoting scenes all the time.
In the relationship, you're the one that is more academically attuned. That's the difference between you and your boyfriends.
Be prepared to be their designated tutor when they have assignments, projects, and exams.
Don't worry if they're not trying to study, they appreciate your help and take your tutoring to heart. They try so hard in tests to shoe that they have been listening and your tutoring has been helping.
Whenever they do great on a test, they are extremely proud and tell you all about it, shoving the papers in your face and saying they couldn't have done it without their babe.
If you wear glasses, they find it so damn adorable.
If your glasses were slipping down your face while you're studying, Ted will quietly push your glasses up for you and give you a big smile when you thank him.
If you're prone to breaking your glasses, Bill will always carry around a spare for you.
One time he broke them though and you had to be blind for a day until you could get new ones.
You explained how annoying it is for your glasses to always get dirty and one day Bill and Ted thought of getting you a gift to take care of that issue.
They thought it was a good idea to give you a damn Windex bottle.
You: Uh…Windex?
Bill: Yeah babe, it's supposed to be the most bodacious glass cleaner! :)
Ted: So, we thought we would get you some! You like it? :D
You: Guys…this is for shit like windows. They’ll fuck up my glasses.
Bill and Ted: :0
If you have a subject or source of media that you are obsessed with and have substantial knowledge on it, they are very supportive and would love to know everything that you know.
Literally, could sit for hours while listening to you gush about your favorite subjects that entertain you.
If they’re video games and board games, they would love to play with you.
They always play arcade games whenever they wanted to let off some steam but now they can try out yours.
Especially if it’s Dungeons & Dragons, it becomes their obsession and want to play with you after band practice.
thinking about ted logan with studious!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
teddy who loves to quietly spend time with you while you study. it could be that he lies on your floor with his walkman, jamming out to his favorite bands (megadeth, slayer, exodus). or maybe he'll sit next to your desk chair with his head in your lap, one of your hands taking notes while the other plays with his hair absent-mindedly.
teddy who pretends to be your student while you try to explain academic concepts to him to help you study, but most of the time he is way too distracted by your beauty.
teddy who comes to every single event you take part in, whatever it is: mathletes, debate, decathlon, etc. he goes to your competitions and cheers you on (perhaps a little too loudly - many have to tell him to pipe down when you get something correct - "'i'm dating them!!! they're with me!!!"). he'll even intend your meetings, if he can manage to sneak in unnoticed. sometimes he fails ("mr. logan, last i recall you were not taking ap calculus. i suggest you take the door out of the classroom instead of the window.")
teddy who gives you kisses and cuddles when you proudly display the large red a on your exams, showering you with affection and complimenting you on how smart you are.
he just loves his smart girl :(
walk to the park - bill s preston esquire x ted theodore logan
notes: evil bill and ted are also in this fic and are unbearably gay for the first like 2 minutes but this fic mainly revolves around human bill and ted, bill and ted have a swanky little therapy session while the robots have sex
warnings: mentions of "not wanting to live" and internalized homophobia, implied sex
desc: With no way to contact Station nor the good robot Bill and Teds due to the battle of the bands being over and them leaving, the Wyld Stallyns leads are now stuck with their evil robot counterparts, whom they thought they killed, as their roommates. That, of course, is bad enough, but it gets about 10x worse when the robots start dating. Bill and Ted, now face to face with the fact that they might not actually be as straight as they seem, talk a walk to the park to figure everything out.
"Well, maybe, next time you kill two totally evil robots, make sure they're actually, y'know, dead," Evil Bill stated, a wide, mocking grin on his face as he sat tangled up with Evil Ted on the couch, his right leg hanging off the edge.
"Dweebus," Evil Ted added, also grinning, holding Evil Bill so he wouldn't fall off the couch.
"Jesus, your heads flew off, I figured that was enough to prove that you were gone for good," Bill argued. "Sorry I don't know the signs of a robot being dead. Would you rather we had really killed you?"
"Our heads reattach, dumbass." Evil Bill rolled his eyes, kicking his foot back and forth lightly.
"Listen, dudes, we just want you to be respectful. This is our apartment, after all," Ted said calmly. "So could you... not trash it?"
Evil Ted groaned. "It's already a shithole, anyways, what difference is it gonna make?" he said with a smile.
"Dudes, you threw all our dishes while we were dead and now theres broken glass everywhere. It's a damn hazard just to walk around without shoes," Bill said, trying his best to remain as calm as possible.
Evil Bill rolled his head back, groaning impatiently. "Fine, whatever, we'll clean the stupid dishes, but we're not buying you new ones. Can we move on now? ET and I have got an announcement to make." He smiled, clearly anxious to make whatever announcement he was going to make.
Ted shrugged. "Alright, what's the announcement, duder?"
The evil robots exchanged glances, both grinning ear to ear, before Evil Bill exclaimed, "Me and Evil Ted are totally dating, dudes!"
Bill and Ted stood, both shocked at the news they'd just heard. "You're... what?"
"Dating, dweebus, did you not hear him?" Evil Ted asked as Evil Bill adjusted himself.
"I'm sorry, you called us a homophobic slur and now you're dating?" Ted asked, looking back and forth between Bill and the robots, as if making sure what he was hearing was real.
Evil Bill shrugged. "Yeah, sorry about the whole slur thing. Evil programming or whatever."
"You mind telling us what happened in between then and now that changed your point of view on dating dudes?" Bill asked, his face scrunched in thought and confusion.
Evil Ted shrugged. "We were bored, we made out, now we're dating. End of story."
"Wh- end of- y- what the hell?" Bill stammered, unable to put his thoughts and questions into words.
Ted stood, completely silent. Then, quietly, "I'm gonna... take a walk." He went to grab his coat, which was lying messily on the couch, then turned to walk out the door.
Bill shifted on his feet, suddenly slightly uncomfortable. "Yeah, me, too." He grabbed the nearest sweatshirt, one of Ted's, labelled with the name of their high school, threw it on, then walked to the door. "Wait for me, dude!" he called.
"Don't come back for a while," Evil Ted called out with a grin, before Bill heard the thump of both the robots' bodies landing on the couch.
"Gross," Bill muttered, before closing the door without turning around for even a second.
He ran after Ted quickly, who was already in the parking lot of the apartment complex. He turned his head as he heard the thumping of Bill's shoes against the pavement. "Oh, hey, Bill."
Bill smiled. "Hey. Where are we going?"
Ted was quiet for a moment. "I don't know. Nowhere, really, I guess. I was sorta just gonna clear my mind after- that."
Bill laughed. "Yeah." He paused. "Uh- 'clear your mind'? Like, in what way?"
Ted went quiet again. "I don't know." He laughed, trying to shrug off the awkwardness of the whole situation. "Try and get the image of the robots making out out of my head, I guess."
"Oh. Yeah." Bill tried to focus on his feet instead of the obvious tension between him and Ted as they walked. He tried to make conversation about anything that wasn't that. "Nice night," he stated awkwardly, mentally kicking himself over how stupid he sounded.
Ted nodded. It was quiet, the only sounds being crickets chirping, the sounds of their feet hitting the pavement, and the occasional car passing by. Streetlights and the moon were the only things illuminating their path. Ted looked at Bill as they passed under a streetlight, then laughed, startling Bill. "Dude, is that my hoodie?"
Bill laughed, too. "It was the closest coat I could find. Besides, it's comfortable." He shrugged, grinning jokingly as he showed off the oversized hoodie. It grew silent again, but the silence was more comfortable this time, then Bill spoke again. "You wanna go to the park?"
"The park?"
"Dude, come on, it's night, so it's not like anyone'll be there, except maybe, like, graffiti artists or something. Besides, we'd get a totally excellent view from the top of that big play-thingy."
Ted laughed, staring at the park as it came into view. "Alright, I'll race you there," he said with a grin, before bolting off towards the playground.
"Wh- hey, no fair, you didn't even give me any time!" Bill called out, smiling widely as he chased after Ted.
The two panted heavily as they made it to the park, leaning against the fence. "Dude, why do you run so fast?" Bill asked in between heavy breaths.
"You've just got short legs," Ted joked, also panting. The two giggled, clutching their stomachs. After they had basically fully recovered from the run, Ted pointed to the plastic playground. "Come on, let's go sit up there."
The two walked up the stairs, to the very top of the playground, the part just before the roof, and sat down by 2 large slides. They remained silent for a few moments.
Both of them knew what they had to address. Neither of them wanted to address it.
Finally, Ted spoke up. He tried to talk about it in a joking manner, which didn't exactly work. "Pretty crazy how they can go from homophobic to making out on our couch that fast, huh?" he said awkwardly.
"Oh. Uh, yeah. Crazy."
Shit. Back to awkward. Ted sighed. "Dude, you know we can't just pretend like it's not happening. I mean-" He paused, his voice quieting. "They're basically exact copies of us, Bill. And they're dating, and they seem- y'know, happy with themselves. Doesn't it make you think? Just a little bit?"
"They're not exact copies of us, Ted, they're totally evil."
"It's not evil to be gay, Bill."
"I know, that's not what I'm-" Bill sighed. "What the hell are you trying to get at, anyways?" he asked, looking at Ted now.
Ted was quiet. He couldn't avoid it now, he had to say what he was thinking. "Would it be so bad to- to, y'know... date? Like, each other?" he asked quietly, fidgeting with his jacket zipper nervously.
Bill fell silent. "Ted, what-" he started quietly before being interrupted.
"I just- I'm sorry, Bill, I can't just not tell you, I- dude, I've had a crush on you since we were kids, and- I mean, I don't want to ruin our friendship or anything, but- with- with the robots, do you think it could be possible? You and me?" Ted stammered quickly, hiding his face. The fidgeting of his zipper grew faster as he waited anxiously for an answer.
"I- I don't know, dude," Bill answered quietly.
Shit. Ted fidgeted more, hoping they could change the subject and forget about it all. "Th-that's fine, dude, you-"
"How did you find out? About how you feel about me, I mean."
Ted paused. Bill didn't seem at all negative towards Ted's feelings about him. Just curious. "Uh- I don't know, I guess I just sorta-" He paused. "I think I've sorta always known, I guess. I mean- when we were in middle school, my dad gave me that totally bogus talk about dudes liking other dudes and how it's 'wrong' or whatever, and ever since then, I-" He trailed off.
Bill reached out and touched Ted's shoulder. "You what, Ted?" he asked.
"I- uh- anytime I saw, like, a cute rocker dude or- y'know, you, and I got that woozy feeling in my stomach, I-" He swallowed, letting himself cry as Bill wrapped his arms around Ted, pulling him into a hug. "I hated myself for it. Jesus, I wished I was dead, and it's all because of my dickweed dad." He cried into Bill's shoulder, wrapping his arms around him as he did so.
Bill closed his eyes. He didn't know what to say, but he knew he had to say something. "I-" He paused, thinking hard about the right thing to say. "I'm sorry, Ted. Maybe Rufus'll let us burrow the booth and we can, like- go back and tell young you it's cool to like dudes? I don't- I don't know. That's a stupid idea."
Ted laughed, sniffing. "I don't think 14 year old me would take anything we say seriously, Bill."
Bill laughed, too. "Yeah, probably not. But, like- look on the bright side." He seperated from the hug slightly to look at Ted better. "You don't have to see your dickweed dad, like, ever anymore."
Ted smiled, wiping still-falling tears from his face. "Yeah, I guess that is pretty good." He paused. "I didn't, uh, fully accept my feelings until I moved out with you, y'know."
Bill nodded. "So- how are you supposed to know when you're in love with someone?"
Ted thought. "I don't know. You just sorta... know, I guess."
Bill sighed. "That's the problem, Ted, I don't know. I've never really been in love with anyone before. I mean, the princesses- they're hot babes, and that's what I'm supposed to like, y'know? But- it just doesn't feel... right." He shrugged.
Ted nodded. "Yeah, I get what you mean." He thought for a moment. "Maybe we could ask the robots about it?"
Bill shook his head. "Dude, they're evil robots who made out with each other to find out if they were gay. I don't think they'd give the best dating advice." Ted laughed. Bill scrunched up his face in thought. "I think- I don't know how to explain it, but- this, just- sitting here with you, doing nothing- it just seems... right? I don't know."
"Like everything we'd ever done before has led up to this moment."
"Yeah. That whole fate thing or whatever."
Bill looked at Ted again, his face illuminated by the moonlight. Gently, slowly, he set his hand on Ted's cheek, feeling it warm slightly. Smiling, he kissed Ted's lips gently. This felt good. This felt right. This felt better than any experience with girls he'd ever had, and he knew that what he had always felt when he was with Ted since they were kids had been love.
The two stayed sitting like that, Bill on Ted's lap, his legs dangling through the bars behind Ted. Their faces were only inches apart. "Do you wanna go back home?" Ted murmured, staring at Bill, then his lips, then Bill again, then his lips again, over and over and over.
"No. Let's stay here until the sun comes up."
Ted laughed. "Dude, that's not for, like, a million hours."
Bill smiled. "So? Sunrises are pretty and romantic."
Ted giggled. "Fine. Can we at least get snacks?"
Bill planted another kiss on Ted's lips. "Deal."
