ohoho anon, you don't realize the power you've given me. Also, i may have changed it a bit to make Reader more of a Warden within the seal that... kinda sucks at her job at keeping the Beasts in the seal and detering them from escaping just to spite the witches. She's still a bit of a girlboss girlfail though.

The five Beasts, five fallen heroes formerly revered now sealed away for their crimes against cookiekind. Everyone knows that Elder Faerie Cookie is the guardian of the seal, but what about the Warden?
Yes, the warden of the seal. The Cookie placed within it by the witches to be the equivalent of a squeaky toy for ensure that the beasts stay within the seal from the inside. And, to put things rather simply... you didn't like your job. In fact, you hated the fact that the witches decided that you were apparently fit for the job.
So, instead of doing your job, you got to know the beasts instead. Hell, you may have even caught feelings for one of them. And now, with all this information in mind, it brings us to now.
" Oh little warden~" You could hear the beast of deceit purr, causing you to stop yourself in your tracks to look over at the (currently) contained beast. You noticed that he'd shrunken down to be around your height, though not small enough to slip through the bars like you could. " Seems you finally decided to pay me a visit again! I was getting so bored trying to entertain myself!"
He reached through the bars of his prison, beckoning you inside. You, of course, obliged in his request. " Well, I have duties to attend to within the seal. If the Witches knew I was slacking off then they'd crumble me for sure." You said to yourself with a chuckle, as if the witches would even bother to care after basically abandoning you here all those years ago.
" Oh hush, you and I both know very well that they can't possibly know what goes on in here. You can blame it on that Foolish King if something ever happens." Shadow Milk Cookie hummed, holding your face in his hands. " Besides, who would believe a Fool King like him? Nobody, and I mean nobody, knows just what happens here, little warden."
There it is again, there's a certain lit to his voice that seemed to worm it's way into your heart to make it beat faster. You couldn't exactly tell if he was actually flirting with you or not, but there was a certain quality to it that tipped your thoughts towards the more flirty side of things.
" Still," You begin, looking away to prevent yourself from staring into his gaze. " It's the only thing I can really do here, y'know?"
Your reasoning seems to go in one of the beast's ears and our the other, even though neither of your technically have ears. " Hm... but you could be having a little bit of... fun with your favorite trickster, hm?" He suggested, and that may have been what broke your composure the slightest bit, letting the slightest hint of red creep onto your face.
You certainly didn't trust that 'fun' meant exactly what you thought, it was probably another one of his petty puppet shows and he was doing all of this to rile you up and get a reaction out of you. " And what exactly do you mean by... 'fun'?" you question him, your composure breaking further as he let out a low chuckle.
" Oh little warden... You're so cute whenever you act so clueless." He purred in this new, low voice of his. Since when could he do this? You knew he was an actor but what???? the fuck??? You could see that he was getting bigger as well, more or less of a good sign. " ... It makes me want to just gobble you up~"
hoo boy, hoo fucking boy. You could feel the back of one of his claws rest at your leg. " Starting from your toes all the way to your itty bitty silly little head~ I wonder just what you'd taste like...? I could probably just eat you up in one bite~!" He purred, you could see his tongue poke out from between his lips, licking them in a rather teasing manner that got your heart working overtime.
You couldn't tell if it was beating so fast out of fear or embarrassment because maybe this actually flustered you a lot and- by the witches he was fucking huge now. Holy fuck he could probably actually do it. He leaned down close, his wide grin inches away from your face.
" Oh you're oh so teeny tiny... i really could just eat you up in one bite~" He hummed as his hand wrapped around your body. You were pretty sure that your brain is going to short-circuit soon just from the way he's looking at you.

The Punks meet Sunflowers! 2
(Part 1)
Three Miles stood in front of the punks, Miles 1016 chuckles: Come on, boys. Your mouths are hanging a bit too low.
Gwen looks at the three Miles variant: Oh wow, you're a girl. -seeing one Miles being a woman.
Miles variant giggles: Yup, well... I'm actually trans. trangirlie! I'm still working on a name for myself, so I still go by Miles. -She smiles at the group- I'm Miles Morales from Earth 1015! -She had on a Magenta and black Spider-woman suit, wearing long braids with pink tips at the end, and have big doe like honey eyes.-
The other variant said: I'm Miles from Earth 43! I'm a transman! -The other Miles stood being the same height as Miles 42, with green eyes and thick box braids hair. His Spider-man suit is more edgy with black and blue with cargo pants, thick shoes, and black sweater over his spider-man suit.-
Gwen gawks: Wow! You guys look freakin' cool! -She saw Miles 43 wearing some space lookin' shoes-
Miles 42: I was checking those shoes out too! They look mad dope!
Miles 43 smirks: These are my anti-gravity kicks! Makes me float in the air -He jumps showing off his kicks- I made them from a special metal called Vibranium.
The group: Whoa, that's so cool!
Miles 1016 looks over at the third Miles: Hey, man. You been quiet. That's pretty weird of you.
Hobie 138b notice the third Miles, who is dressed in all black, with piercings and had a tattoo of sunflowers showing on his neck: Darling, is that a Punk Miles? -The other Punks looks over noticing the other Miles-
Miles variant scowls: Excuse you, man. I don't like labels! I am, ME!
Miles 1016: Technically.... he hates labels. So you don-

Hobie 138b being awestruck until his boyfriend nudge him in the rib getting jealous: Hobie!

Hobie 138e already looming over at Punk Miles: You know, I bashed a DICK-tator's head once... -his voice deep-
Miles 1019 smirks being interested in him: You did? Mmm, I actually blow up the NYPD!
The Punks seem to spread to their Miles, being already interested in them. Hobie 138c flock to Miles 43 and Hobie 138d went with Miles 1015. Gwen saw how bashful the Punks acted around their Miles, which is cute and funny. Seeing cool tough punkers being all shy, casually trying to flirt while their Miles are so sweet, and naive.
Hobie 138d to Miles 1015: So in your world... what do you do for fun?
Miles 1015 smiles brightly at him: I take care of my baby brother! I go skate with my best friend... um... hmmm, I really really love Pickles! I know a bit weird but it's been my favorite snack to eat while reading manga! -She saw the way he nodded, then he got close to him trying to meet his eye- What about you?
Hobie 138d blushes: Me! Oh, you know, starting Mayhem, breaking shit, fighting off CEOS and their unethical practices!
Miles 1015: Ohh sounds fun!
Miles 42 rolled his eyes: Oh brother...
Gwen laughs: This is so fun to watch.
Miles 43 talking with Hobie 138c: Hahaha, yeah. I beat up a few bad cops recently. They really hate me being around.

A Spider-woman in pastel blue and pink: Hey guys, sorry I'm late and- Whoa so many Spider-punk! -She took off her mask revealing to be woman but with Miles' features. Her long hair tied into two thick long braids-
Miles 1016: This is Mariana! She's the female version of me or I'm the male version of her...
Mariana giggles: Right! Variants is so confusing, because who's is who in the multiverses! -She saw how Spider Punks were close to their Miles- Looks like I missed the match making. Shame, I thought I was gonna get a Spider Punk -she jokes-
Miles 42: I know a Ganke that's single!
Miles 1016: You really want a variant of us dating a Ganke huh?
Miles 1015: Well there was a few Miles that were... you know multi-verses. It never ends!
Mariana nodded: Oh for sure! -then turns to Miles 42- I'm fine just teasing. I'm not into dating.
Miles 43: There's another cute punker walking around.
Hobie 138b: As long as he stay away from my Sunflower. -he pulls Miles close to him-
Miles 1016: Bae, chill. I'm not going anywhere.
Mariana giggles: So this is your famous bf! He loves you too much! -She turns to Gwen- I've seen the male variant of you. Are you a flirt like him?

Miles 42: Wait, Mariana? -Looking at Miles 1015- Why not names yourself that?

Mariana nodded: Yeah! It will come.
Gwen asked Miles 1016: So are they all like you? Like doing their own thing?
Miles 1016: Umm, not really. 43 and 1019 lost their dad from being shot by a dirty cop. Mariana's and Miles 1015's parents are alive but they lost their friend. I think Mari's was Ganke and 1015 was her Peter Parker... I think.
Gwen: Oh wow.
Miles 42: Mariana' and Miles 1015 have younger sibling too.
Miles 1016: Yeah, it's crazy how multi-verses work. -They watch the Miles and Hobies interacting. Mariana happily taking with them being so bright and bubbly. Then Miles 1016 felt a tap on his shoulder, he looks over to find Punk Miguel!- Oh hey, Miguel!
Punk Miguel, from Earth 970 and younger version of Miguel 2099. He's much nicer and mostly speak Spanish, since he grew and live in Mexico. In his world, Mexico won the American-Spanish War, so states like California didn't exist, but remain part of Mexico. USA Is a small country that leader was taken over by Mexico: Compa, qué le parece esa morra? -His Auburn red eyes on Mariana- Hmm?
Hobie 138b looks at the lad: Oi, I'm watching you.
Miles 1016 said: That's Mariana. Go talk to her.
Miguel 970 shyly didn't want to speak to her by himself: Amigo, please... help me? -having a thick Mexican accent-
Miles 1016 chuckles: Alright. -He turns to Mariana- Hey, Mari. I want you to meet someone.
Mariana head to them after excusing herself with the her variants and the Punks: What's up? -then noticed a tall big guy in front of her- Oh wow, man! You are huge! I feel so small! -she's six foot, too.-
Miguel 970 blushes being shy. Miles chuckles: He wants to meet you but he's shy.
Mariana: Oh I don't bite, unless you want me too! -she jokes and saw Miguel 970 with sharp fangs- Ohh, but I bet you bite! -She got a good look at him, dark hair, piercings and red eyes with fangs! He's like a sexy vampire!-
Miguel 970: I... I don't speak.... English too good...
Mariana: Oh, puedo hablar español! Yo soy Mariana! -she stuck her hand out.
Miguel 970's eyes lit up: Hola, Mariana! Soy Miguel. Es un placer conocerte.
Mariana giggles: So proper.
Miles 1016 laughs too: Yeah, give a Punk a Miles and they suddenly become a gentlemen. -He saw all the other Punks being super nice and well-mannered with his other variants.-
Miles 42 was eyeing Miguel 970: He's low-key fine. Why not him?
Hobie 138b: Oi, back off, mate. Sunflower is mine. I'll never let him go.
Miles 42: Ugh, fine. Whatever, man.
Gwen: I love match making. Too bad, Pav isn't here. He would've fangirl and be doing a whole love show.
Miles 1016: He really did miss out, huh? -His eyes one Miguel 970 happily talking with Mariana-
Hobie 138b: Ain't it a bit weird for a Miguel to date a version of you?
Miles: Not really. She's her own person... just because their a variant of me, doesn't mean they are me, you know?
Hobie: And that's why I love you, Sunflower. -He picks up his partner to kiss him-

Did this again, this time for Lena, Violet, Della and Magica de Spell! Information is under the Read More thing.
I feel like I should do something with these.
Lena Sabrewing
Floating above you is a duck with a luminescent white and blue costume, her eyes and the tips of her front head-feathers gleaming with magical power.
Age: 18 (mentally)
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Class/Level: Sorcerer 6 (arcane bloodline)
Ability Scores: STR 10, DEX 15, CON 14, INT 13, WIS 8, CHA 18
Once the unwilling shadowy servant of Magica de Spell, Lena Sabrewing is an accomplished sorceress and one of the most powerful allies of House McDuck. Specifically, her loyalty is to Webby Vanderquack, with whom she is practically an older sister to. She has eschewed most of the formal titles offered to her, content with having a normal life – or as normal as one’s life can be in Duckland.
Unlike the other characters I’ve discussed, Lena is not a duck – technically, she is what is known as a “fetchling”, a being crafted entirely from shadowstuff. As a fetchling, she has slight resistance to cold and electricity, and she can blend into darkness to become harder to see and hit. She can use her innate shadow magic to weave illusory disguises, though she is loathe to use these abilities, preferring to use magic unrelated to shadow.
As a sorcerer, Lena can use her magic much more often than a wizard or cleric at the cost of a much more limited spellbook. She only has a handful of spells in her repertoire, which she uses in creative and efficient ways, such as flying invisibly in the sky, unnoticed until she rains a shower of magic missiles down on her opponents. She also uses her magic to mess with people when she’s bored – causing object to levitate, turning your house keys invisible, that sort of thing.
Violet Sabrewing
This indigo-feathered warrioress points her crossbow at you from afar, her eyes cold, calculating, yet curious.
Age: 16
Alignment: Neutral
Class/Level: Ranger 3/Wizard 1
Ability Scores: STR 12, DEX 17, CON 14, INT 14, WIS 14, CHA 8
Another friend of Webby, Violet is one of the Woodchuck rangers of Duckland, tasked with protecting the natural world from monsters, magic, and all manner of unnatural creations. They eschew the divine magics employed by rangers in other parts of the world, instead relying on their weapon skills, traps, and their allies.
That, however, changed for Violet when she discovered an enchanted amulet, once wielded by the shadow witch Magica de Spell. Through that amulet, she discovered a world of untapped power, and she began fervently researching the arcane, the eldritch, and the unknown. She even discovered a talent for arcane spellcasting, studying as a novice wizard alongside training as a ranger.
Crossbows are Violet’s weapon of choice, and she has learned to use them with incredible efficiency. She can shoot, reload, and shoot a crossbow again faster than most people can blink, and she specialises in taking down the undead. Her magical focus, in fact, is the art of necromancy, which she can use to weaken her foes and control wandering undead.
Della Duck
This dishevelled duck wears a blue scarf and a pilot’s outfit, with a pair of goggles resting on her forehead. Her left leg is a metallic, roughshod contraption.

Della Duck is the twin sister of Donald, mother of the Duck triplets, and a ferociously ambitious adventurer. She was thought dead for many years after an experiment gone awry stranded her on the Astral Plane for ten years. She isn’t quite as reckless as she used to be, having learned from her mistakes, but she hasn’t lost her adventurous edge.
Della is primarily a fighter, accustomed to fighting blade to blade. She no longer fights with her magic sword Asteria, which is now in Dewey’s hands, but with a longspear built from a meteoric metal, gifted to her by a friend she met in the stars. She also has a few levels in artificer – stranded in the Astral Sea, she had to build a rocket to get back home herself, with very little help, and she picked up a few tools of the trade in the process.
Della is not afraid to leap head-first into combat. She eschews the shield in favour of two-handing her spear, using it to knock aside enemy blows and skewer her foes. Her artificer magic allows her to quickly construct magic items or enhance her gear with power, making her a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
Magica de Spell
Cackling above you, this mad witch sports a midnight black dress and has sickly green feathers. In her hands is a black sceptre, with a glowing violet gem at its tip.

Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Class/Level: Sorcerer 18 (shadow bloodline)
Ability Scores: STR 8, DEX 14, CON 14, INT 14, WIS 10, CHA 20
One of the most feared enemies of House McDuck, Magica de Spell is an accomplished and deadly sorceress whose speciality is in shadow magic. She can bring shadows to life, conjure impenetrable darkness, step into one shadow and reappear from another… her powers are almost limitless. And there is rumour that she now tries to push the limits of her magic even further, in an attempt to cheat death itself.
Like most arcane spellcasters, Magica relies heavily on her magical abilities to get through combat. She has no martial prowess to speak of, but neither does she need it – few have the opportunity to get close to her before being blasted by shadowy lightning, accosted by shadow monsters, or just simply disintegrated by her magics. Her arrogance is almost always her downfall, underestimating her enemies or lacking the foresight to come up with escape plans beyond just teleporting away.
Her retinue of servants consists primarily of shadowy undead that sap the strength from their victims. Very rarely does she enlist the help of more intelligent or powerful servants, and she never makes an alliance with a fellow sorcerer. She knows full well that, like herself, her peers rarely honour sworn oaths when limitless power is on the line.

@heartoferebor OOF okay so I technically started with PawPaw Studio’s pattern because it nails the square little face, but it doesn’t include any ventral fins and the body shaping is weird, so ... well, the pattern definitely inspired me, we’ll leave it at that. I didn’t anticipate ever wanting to replicate my own hubris so I uhhhh didn’t take notes. fortunately (?) for you I finished a lot of the details Yesterday so I have written up my mods from memory. I think what’s under the cut is everything I changed. Maybe. Good luck?
I used a super bulky chenille and an 8mm hook. Use whatever you need to get an appropriate stuffie gauge. I did everything FLO except working into the sl st stripes which I also did BLO.
Worked the mouth insert about 15-20 rounds longer, with final round being blue/white before starting increases (this is not structurally critical, make yours however deep you want)
I approximately doubled the number of rounds in the head section. Just keep adding rows of dots until you feel the head is sufficiently long.
Work two sections after the head straight w/o decreasing, then work eleven following sections with decreases. For decrease rows work [sc1 blue, dec, work to last 3 blue scs, dec, sc1], rep in white for belly. The second and sixth rounds of each section (sl st rounds not counted) are decrease rounds (dec by 8 sts total each section).
Work the fourteenth section with decrease rows on the second, fourth, and sixth rows.
Final section: Work no spots. Work two dec rows immediately after sl sts. Work two rows dec’ing every st around, then close up hole.
Sections 10-12 I worked flat (cutting yarn and restarting from right side every row to preserve in-the-round texture) and rejoined to work in round on the following sl st round; this let me install an invisible zipper so when he’s five years old and his stuffing’s gone flat he can be restuffed. This also helped make final stuffing easier.
I offset the 2×2 spots from section to section rather than lining them up. The repeat is [4 blue, 2 white], so on the next section it’d be [1 blue, 2 white, 3 blue].
Work all fins with joined rounds, NOT spiral rounds. At this scale the row offset produced by spiral rounds is almost half an inch and 100% matters.
Upper caudal fin lobe: Rounds 25-26 should be worked including spots following established pattern; work 8 additional rounds after r26 increasing as established: three solid, two spot, three solid.
Lower caudal fin lobe: Rounds 20-21 should be worked with spots; work 3 solid rnds after this, increasing as established.
Anal fin is exactly like second dorsal fin but all in white.

Fold the fin in half and seam the lower section of the fin together. Leave rows 10-11 unseamed. Stuff gently.
Claspers (optional):
Make fsc row with a smaller hook if necessary to avoid flaring.

Make turning chain, sk first sc, sc 9, turn.
Sc 8, sl st. F/O.
Fold short part of claspers over and seam into a tube, stitching final row to base of fsc and closing the tip. Jam the ends inside the tube but leave unstuffed otherwise.
Anal fin should be attached to belly directly underneath second dorsal fin. Posterior tips of the pelvic fins should be level with or slightly past the end of the first dorsal fin. Seam only the open parts of the pelvic fins to the body, leaving the tips free. Once pelvic fins are attached, take the claspers and flatten the single-layered portion against the base of the pelvic fins, towards the center of the belly. The opening to the folded part of the claspers should be up against rws 10-11 of the pelvic fins. Seam the single-layered portion to the pelvic fins as flatly as possible so it blends in, closing up the opening of the tube as you go.

In which a sleepy Noel cuddles up to Mischa at night, only for a drowsy Mischa to wake up to more snuggles in the morning <3

Mischa awoke to a pair of lips pressed against his neck. There was soft breath echoing into his ears, and arms wrapping around his abdomen. Mischa chuckled. Noel must have come in to snuggle again.
After graduating from St. Cassian’s, the choir had moved in together to an apartment in Toronto. Mischa and Noel shared the smaller bedroom, Ocean, Penny, and Constance shared the master bedroom, and Ricky slept on the pullout couch. Per Ocean’s rules, Noel and Mischa TECHNICALLY slept in two different twin beds on opposite sides of the room. Techinally.
But what Ocean didn’t know was that most night they ended up snuggled together anyway.
“Mmf…Noel, you’re freezing.” Mischa murmured. He rolled over so he was facing Noel, the shorter boy’s half-shut eyes meeting his.
“And you’re warm.” Noel purred, nestling his face into Mischa’s chest. Mischa rested his chin on Noel’s head, their legs tangling together, bodies entwining into one.
“Poet, you’re drooling.” Mischa groaned. Sure enough, a small pool of moisture had formed, staining Mischa’s checkered pajama top. But at this point, Noel was too drowsy to even notice. Mischa rolled his eyes, pulling the blankets further up around the pair of them, snuggling closer to Noel.
There was a beam of moonlight shining through the window, but it was so dim it didn’t cause any eye strain. It illuminated a white-hot patch on the comforter, right by the boys’ faces. Mischa’s mouth was curved in a permanent smile, blinking slowly as he watched his boyfriend doze, breath slowing.
Mischa could barely see the digital clock on his nightstand, glowing. It was 11:42 at night, meaning Ocean was probably already asleep. Just like every night, Noel had snuck in knowing he couldn’t get caught.
Mischa moved ever so slightly, just enough to press a smooch to Noel’s forehead. He swore he saw the corners of Noel’s mouth tip up in a sleepy smile.
“Goodnight, Poet.” Mischa laughed. It only took a few blissful moments before he drifted off himself.

The next morning, Noel awoke to a pair of lips pressed against his neck, to soft breaths and strong arms pulling him closer. Evidently, Mischa was having a sleepy morning.
Noel pushed the chestnut brown curls out of the taller boy’s eyes, fingertips lingering on his skin. “Beautiful…”
Noel pulled his body into a sitting position, gathering Mischa’s weight atop his lap. He glanced at the digital clock on his boyfriend’s nightstand. 7:01 on a Saturday? There was no way Ocean was awake yet. They could afford to cuddle for a while longer before she came in to make sure they were “keeping their distance” (she was very much of the belief that teen sex killed, and despite the choir being in their twenties now, didn’t want any hanky-panky in their shared home, not that anyone was brave enough to do it and face her wrath) during the night.
Noel ran his fingers through those silky brown curls, weaving it between his digits like fine yarn on a loom. Mischa was snoring like a trucker, mouth wide open and nostrils flaring as he enjoyed the last few moments of his slumber.
“Such a monster,” Noel chuckled. “Listen to him!” He didn’t fully know who he was talking to, whether it be to himself, Mischa, or perhaps the ceiling. Either way he was enjoying this.
He spent the next five minutes stroking Mischa’s hair, until the familiar ‘ding dong!’ of the alarm greeted them like a rooster’s crow. Mischa squinted, wrinkling his face up adorably.
“Don’t wanna get up, do you, honeybee?” Noel teased. Mischa grunted, opening his mouth to speak, but Noel shut him up with a kiss.
Their lips touched for a mere moment before Noel pulled away, giggling. Mischa sat up with him, tucked awkwardly against the poet. This bed was smaller than it seemed last night.
“Come on.” Noel stood, stretching, his shirt coming up enough for Mischa to see his belly. “Breakfast time.”
Mischa, being the food-motivated idiot he was, flew to his feet, draping himself over Noel. “Now THAT sounds like the perfect morning.”

Rewatch: Kiseki: Dear to Me
Interesting how even though I've seen this before and know how it comes out I still get scared for the mains. Fine acting!
What triggered the rewatch was to see the differences between the Gagaoolala and the Viki subtitles, after reading (and commenting on) a post on subtitles by @absolutebl. I actually only re-watched episode 1 on both services (and noticed multiple subtitle differences between the services - noted on the linked reblog) and re-watched the rest on Viki. My first watch was on Gaga.

I don't view Kiseki: Dear to Me as a comedy, although there is no shortage of comic moments. But I don't recall there being cute sound effects the way they are littered all over Thai comedies.
Noting the comfort plushie at 8:42. Nice to have autism rep/normalization (and wish I had the nerve to have one when I was in school - actually it wouldn't have even occurred to me that I could have done so).

Okay, there's the rooster sound when Jherui, in his sleep, gropes Bai Zhongyi and Zhongyi wakes up with an erection - or at least that's what the sound effect and Zhongyi's actions afterwards are presumably meant to represent. I guess technically this is a comedy. But its a very dry comedy with plenty of drama.

Then there was the cat meow when Zhongyi's classmates asked Zhongyi whether he had brought home a cat or a dog and Zhongyi flashes back about Jherui's behavior.

Good to see Jherui question his attraction to a 17 year old. (For the record, the actors are adults and 17 is of legal age in Taiwan, although it's questionable at the moment with Jherui pretending to be Zhongyi's teacher.)
Actually, I'm questioning a 17 year old being in an apartment on his own while he goes to high school. That was the first thing I questioned.

In an electrifying comeback, Paige Bueckers returned to the court for UConn's season opener against Dayton. The XL Center crowd erupted with applause as she was introduce, marking the end of a long wait since their last game that counted. Memories of last season's disappointing loss in Seattle were finally put to rest as a new chapter began.
Bueckers wasted no time making her presence felt, sinking her first shot - a layup with 8:17 remaining. Even getting yelled at by coach Geno Auriemma when she left the game late in the first quarter couldn't dampen her excitement. Reflecting on her experience from last year, Bueckers expressed gratitude for being back on the court and even welcomed being scolded by Auriemma.
Throughout the game, Bueckers showcased her skills with six points in the first quarter along with three rebounds and an assist. Auriemma took advantage of his deep roster this year - unlike last season plagued by injuries - and made liberal substitutions. In just 17 minutes of play, Bueckers contributed eight points on 3-of-9 shooting, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. With UConn comfortably leading by 40 points in the fourth quarter, she sat out for rest.
The Huskies demosntrated their depth further by utilizing ten players in the first half alone. Their bench outscored Dayton - an opponent coached by former Huskies star Tamika Williams - Jeter - by an impressive margin of 38-17. Aaliyah Edwards led six Huskies who reached double figures with an outstanding performance of 23 points on efficient shooting (10-of-12), accompanied by nine rebounds and two blocks. Azzi Fudd added another 13 points, while Aubrey Griffin contributed 12. Auriemma expressed satisfaction with certain aspects of the game but acknowledged the need for improvement in areas such as defense, minimizing fouls, and rebounding.
The game against Dayton marked several memorable firsts. Ice Brady, who missed the entire previous season due to a patella dislocation, made her return count by hitting a turnaround jumper in the paint. Freshman KK Arnold also made an impact by scoring her first UConn points with two free throws and finished with eight points, seven assists, and four steals. Qadence Samuels showcased her talent by sinking her debut 3-pointer and contributing 11 points overall. Another freshman, Ashlynn Shade, secured her first UConn rebound and assist during the game.
UConn gained an early advantage even before tip-off when Dayton provided incorrect player numbers to officials - resulting in Azzi Fudd shooting two free throws for an adminstrative technical foul.
Dayton struggled to match up against UConn's dominance throughout the game. By the end of the first quarter, UConn had established a commanding lead of 26-13. Although Dayton put up some resistance initially, UConn pulled away further in the second quarter to enter halftime with a comfortable 59-31 lead.
In Bueckers' return during the third quarter, she wasted no time making an impact once again by hitting a jump shot early on. She briefly left at 7:42 but returned shortly after with just under five minutes remaining in that period. Two minutes later, she stole the ball and set up Edwards for an easy layup that extended UConn's lead to 81-38.
Bueckers closed out the third quarter on court alongside Griffin, Brady Shade, and Samuels but missed her last two shots before being subbed out.
Overall it was an impressive start for Paige Bueckers' comeback as well as UConn's new season, showcasing their depth and potential for a successful campaign ahead.

Frankfurt have won their first European trophy for 42 years after overcoming Rangers 5-4 on penalties following a pulsating 1-1 draw in the UEFA Europa League final in Seville.
The first period was a half of two halves with both sides eager to seize the upper hand. The 40-year-old Allan McGregor repelled an early effort from Daichi Kamada and made a fine fingertip save to deny Ansgar Knauff as the Eagles had the better of the opening 20 minutes, before Joe Aribo curled just wide and John Lundstram's header was tipped over by Kevin Trapp as Rangers rallied.
Frankfurt started the second half on the offensive but were rocked when Tuta lost his footing trying to react to Djibril Sow's header and Aribo raced away to calmly slide Rangers in front. Oliver Glasner's men refused to panic – a sign of confidence from a team yet to taste defeat in the competition this season – and duly equalised when Filip Kostić's low cross was prodded past McGregor by Rafael Borré.

Both sides continued to press for a winner in normal then extra time, but neither summoned the necessary guile or composure to break through and spare their fervent supporters the spectacle of a penalty shoot-out, Ryan Kent coming closest in the dying moments only for Trapp to produce the save of the match via an outstretched leg.
The Frankfurt goalkeeper would have the final say in the shoot-out too, saving from Aaron Ramsey to allow Borré the chance to seal the trophy for the German club and book them a first ever berth in the UEFA Champions League group stage.

Conlanging for cheaters
quick tips for creating fantasy language(s) that look believable if you squint
Pick a few rules about what letter/sound combinations can and cannot exist (or are common/uncommon). For example, in English, "sp" or "st" can begin a word, but in Spanish they can't. The "ng" sound (or the voiced velar nasal if you want to get technical), can't appear at the beginning of a syllable in English, but it can in at least of third of languages around the world. English allows for consonant clusters (more than one consonant together without a vowel), but some languages, such as Hawaiian, don't. Picking a few distinctive rules that are different from English or the language you are writing in, and sticking to them, will yield a lot better results than just keysmashing.
Assign meaning to a few suffixes, prefixes, or roots. A simple and useful example of this is making up a particle that means -land or -city or -town, and tacking it onto your appropriate place names. You could also have a particle with a similar meaning to the "er/or one we have in English, such as in "baker," "singer," or "operator," and then incorporate it in your fantasy titles or professions. It's like an Easter egg for careful readers to figure out, and it will make your language/world feel more cohesive.
Focus on places and names. You usually don't need to write full sentences/paragraphs in your conlang. What you might want to do with it is name things. The flavor of your language will seep in from the background, with the added benefit of giving readers some hints on background lore. For example, you could have a conlang that corresponds to a certain group of people, and a character with a corresponding name could then be coded as being from that group without having to specify. A human-inhabited city with an elven-sounding name might imply that it was previously inhabited by elves.
You don't have to know what everything means. Unless you are Linguistics Georg R. R. Tolkien, you probably don't want to (and shouldn't!) actually make up a whole language. So stick some letters together (following your linguistic rules, of course) and save fretting over grammar and definitions for the important stuff.
(Bonus) This isn't technically conlanging, but it can be fun to make up an idiom or two for your fantasy culture (just in English or whatevs) and sprinkle that in a few times. The right made-up idiom can allude to much larger cultural elements without you having to actually explain it.
Congrats! You now have a conlang you can dust over your wip like an appropriate amount of glitter. Conlangs can be intimidating, just because there's so much you can do, but that doesn't mean you have to do it all. So yeah anyway here's what I would recommend; hope y'all have fun :D

I’m getting so annoyed at people who aren’t in Europe and are making comments like ‘just buy an AC unit!’ or ‘lol that’s normal weather for us’ and acting all superior about it or like we didn’t think it through if we didn’t get “ready” for it, because seriously, in 2022 you are still this ignorant, and also wow, you think people are just... not looking for solutions, and you can show up and tell them where they went wrong?
(I’m not talking about people suggesting in good faith how to survive the heat, they mean well, and if you can afford to make a lot of ice all day to put it in front of all your fans it’s a helpeful tip.)
Honestly, some people are sounding so DAMN RIDICULOUS not assuming that the ones dying from the heat may have a good reason not to get air conditioning??
I will just make one ‘for example in south Italy most people need multiple powerful AC units because of our house’s size and structure, and the money to pay the bills later, as well as to change our electrical system depending on the house, because the units require too much energy for the standard one that people with low-medium income get, and that also means fines because you are using too much energy’ comment and that’s it, I’m not even going to touch other impractical solutions or how our homes need to be changed too, that was my one comment on it.
BUT LIKE. With all the American posts about their medical system issues I wouldn’t dream to be like ‘lol you idiots should call an ambulance every time you aren’t well! in my country we always go to the hospital right away’ because at this point, in 2022, I know they’d be bankrupt right after, Americans aren’t stupid if they try to avoid doctors, they know what they cannot afford. So HOW do you still not get our problem? Or that if you think you can solve everything with what you came up in five minutes and a google search, maybe YOU missed something obvious??? You really haven’t seen any post in all these years with people explaining why? And yet you assumed??
And Australian and others who are like ‘that’s normal weather for us’ please. People die from the heat there too even when prepared. Try not to focus on the literal C° or F°, but on how much hotter than usual and humid it is. Because even if we Italians are “used” to 40°- 42°, when I heard what was happening in the UK I was horrified because I knew they aren’t used to it, their houses are worse than hours, and in my head I imagined it would be like having 50° here. This African guy stopped to talk to us at the beach and complained about the heat too because even if technically where he came from the temperature was higher, he said that the humidity here made him feel so much worse. It’s not about the numbers, it’s about the whole situation, the temperature going so much higher than usual, humidity and entire countries built for the mediterranean weather finding themselves in tropical weather within a few years.
short version: we lived in a mediterranean weather for centures and it turned tropical all of the sudden, the uk was its own rainy cold place as well now going very fast to the tropical lane too, so we don’t have the means to change the entire way we live and all buildings of all countries all of the sudden. If ‘you are used to this heath’ you can’t understand and need to listen. If you aren’t used to it but can deal with it by getting AC it means you can afford paying the bills that AC brings, so you aren’t from here or you aren’t poor, either one of them means shut up instead of assuming everybody can.

Just a smidge of pink is just fine especially if it’s rose gold. Here is me boi Hyde. I have been changing his design for some time now because I didn’t want to make another Red because, well, technically he isn’t. I still think I can do better but I’m happy with this design for now.

I never had such a struggle with a redesign in my life but here we are. Anyway here’s Hyde Gaster the second son of Zapf and the second most respected brother/cousin. Hyde is one of the rare monsters born with pure Determination magic. This is due to the fact that he as well as his siblings are 1/4 human due to their mother being 1/2 human 1/2 monster. Hyde would get into a lot of fights when someone would say something bad about Brigadoom and Kaliber. Hyde isn’t one to shy away from a fight but would honestly like to talk it out first and foremost. He has always been the voice of reason and could actually talk his way out of a lot of situations, something Kaliber learned from him growing up. He has also been known to be very outgoing and would always show off Vlad’s outfits he made for him. After awhile Vlad just decided to make him one of his male models and his right hand man. Hyde joined the Air Force at the age of 18 only to become a pilot in the end. During the force he did get into a big fight that lead to him losing the tip of his finger. After leaving the force he went ahead and got Kintsugi like his cousins and brother, also replacing the tip of his claw with a metal replacement and rose gold coating. Now that he is retired he focuses full time as a male model and a Biker gang leader.

i messed up
- had a plate of cheese tortellini with light cheese on top and 5 baby carrots and 2 small peach slices - about 310 calories
(after burned 200 cal)
later calories burned: 30
i’m sorry for messing up, even though its technically are a ‘normal serving’ i still feel terrible.
i’m so scared i’m gonna gain all my weight back.
please give me any advice or tips on how to avoid eating dinner with family, and any info you know about gaining back weight from 1 meal if it’s possible, thank you so much🫶
