They’ve been searching for days by now, trekking through the near waist-high snow gathered at the valley separating Mount Alodiel from whatever lies beyond. Tariq warned them not to cross the darkness; there is no telling what lurks in the plain where even the Scribes’ radiance does not reach, and they may very well be lost forever if they cannot return to the light of the stars.
Neither of them cares. They will not leave Oralech in this place.
