Little frog at the river

Little frog jumps, and with jumps he reach the river. And he looks how water is flowing. It is a small fish is moving in the river, near him.

“Hello little fish”

He has time to say it.

Little fish answered to him: “Hello”.

But fish moves by river very fast, and disappear soon. And little frog hard to hear that. As little fish is crying to him hello word. And also, it was from underwater. And makes a bubbles.

So, this is leaf, and he is moving by river. Green leaf was falling down from a tree and now he moves by river.

“Hello, little leaf. Kwa!”, - said little frog.

But little leaf answered nothing and just moved by river forward.

Little frog was looking at the way how sun is reflecting in the water.

“How beautiful it is here at the river! At the summer! Kwa!”, - said little frog! “Kwa!”, - said little frog with a happiness.

Fly was here. And it said –“Hello!”

“Hello! Kwa-kwa!”, - answered little frog.

“Let’s go to a field and play some games.”

“Let’s go”, - answered little frog.

And they were playing until sunset, they run after each other, and try to catch each other. It was fun. Later, they watch a beautiful sunset. And drink a tea.

Everytime I see videos or posts about indie animation, I'm a little more sad that people seem to completely gloss over 'Tales of Alethrion', despite them being at it for ten years now and having completely set the high standard for indie anim on Youtube back in the day.

Anyway if you care about indie animation, this is your sign to go watch the episodes now and spread the word about this forgotten masterpiece - especially since a new ep is apparently in the works...

Okay, two weeks to go, putting my cards on the table: there is no way in hell that Barriss is going to be an Inquisitor. That's not what this is. Everyone’s taking for granted that because the trailer sets up her training as an Inquisitor that means that we’re seeing a corruption arc for her, but just. Look at her. There is not a single frame of this trailer where she is not visibly looking for the exit. There is not a single frame of this trailer where she isn’t either visibly masking what she’s feeling or just looking determined to survive. This isn’t a start of darkness; it’s Ahsoka getting hunted for sport in Padawan Lost.

We aren’t doing the “we’re setting Barriss up as an Inquisitor so we can give her a redemption arc later” scenario. This is the redemption arc, this is her facing an in-universe attempt to force her into the fanon Inquisitor!Barriss mold that she doesn’t fit into at all, and she’s going to prove it and she’s going to outsmart all of these actual fallen Jedi she’s surrounded by who are trying to make her be like them. When Order 66 happened, Barriss was sitting defenseless in a cell and was offered a series of choices that weren’t real choices. But she knows that, she is not buying into it, and that offers her one, incredibly dangerous route to freedom: convincing them to trust her enough to send her into the field with a lightsaber.

It’s going to be rough, it’s going to be an incredibly dangerous, difficult path for her to navigate—they will make her do some messed up stuff to prove herself and for a moment it might look like she's given into despair—but she’s going to come out the other end of this miniseries having rejected both the Empire and the dark side. Not only as a Jedi in every way that matters but also as someone who is equipped with knowledge of how the Inquisitorius operates, which she can use to save as many people as she can from them—because she knows what happens when they take you alive.

And she's going to do it all onscreen in a story that is about her, she is the main protagonist here, and that is frankly something that was beyond my wildest dreams.

This isn’t wishful thinking on my part, this isn’t me trying to do a preemptive rewrite—this is me looking at what’s onscreen in this trailer, at what they’re telling us, at what they’re not telling us, and seeing the story laid out in front of us.

The only way out is through.

the slippers are made of glass because its awesome where's your whimsy, where's your basic human decency if you don't like it kindly enjoy another genre that isn't FILLED WITH impossible dresses made of moonlight or silver. I'm sorry, you need someone to explain how a glass slipper wouldn't be impossible to dance in? a glass slipper that came from a FAIRY Godmother? Are you going to nitpick spinning straw into gold, too? You sound like the people who complain about musicals having music. It's about the beauty in imagination. It's about emotion manifesting impossible things. You don't have to like it. You don't have to engage with it. but that is the Point of this genre. the slippers are made of glass because it's awesome.

i know this episode is dumb filler but:

and what pisses me off is that we could've had THIS with him and moroha. we could've had him helping her train, taking care of her when she's ill, and just...being the father figure he wished he could've had in his life. there's this repeating theme of him seeing himself in other youkai children and taking care of them, or at least emphasizing with them. he relates. he gets it. he doesn't want them suffering the way he did. and yashahime was like "hm...what if...amazing idea incoming...he didn't get to raise his daughter? lol."
