A/N: Temporary but then married, that's the real speedrun.

Mikey was a little shocked when you showed up saying you were his roommate because he doesn't remember ever advertising he needed one. Turns out that he didn't, his friends did because he was getting into too much trouble and not telling anyone. Safe to say that he kept to himself most of the time for over a month, you barely saw him other than for meals.

You got worried for him when he'd get home with bruises and began tending to his injuries more, which helped the two of you talk more often and let Mikey get to know you better. What do you know, it's not so bad after all, having someone to talk to. After you move out he keeps in touch as much as he can, inviting you over when he needs to be patched up and joking how you were the best live-in nurse he ever had.

Draken only asked to have a roommate so he could have someone to look after his place while he wasn't there. He greeted you, talked to you a little bit and then told you he won't be home a lot and that you could do what you want, just keep the place tidy and have fun. You would hear him get home late and cursing under his breath, and the next day he'd be gone before you woke up. He would do all his chores but never with you in the room.

The times you did see him he was overly familiar with you, flirty, enjoying how you'd get flustered. That was another reason why he asked you to move in, he could have fun with you if you wanted it, help get the stress of studies and fights out. Of course he did want you to have fun too and didn't mind when you'd confront him about things, it was cute to see you pouting. When you were packing to leave you noticed he packed his jacket in your suitcase, meaning you could visit him anytime you wanted.

Shinichiro really wanted someone who could help him keep the place together. It gets boring and tiring when you're on your own still trying to provide for the younger generation. Good thing he knew you from your school days so it was easy to settle into a routine, the chores and bills were all quickly divided and he even helped you get moved in, stealing glances at you. The first meal was cooked by him, he wanted to catch up on everything, although he was more nervous then you remembered him.

He didn't even last a night without revealing his crush on you, not of his own will, he had a little too much to drink and you got a big laugh out of teasing him the next morning. A great start to your temporary living situation. This established a dynamic of teasing that quickly escalated to night time cuddles, and then finally exploded to more as you found yourself beneath him in his bed, his mouth against yours, offering you to move in for good.

Mitsuya took you in when you had it a little rough and he was worried for your safety. He knows many who would take advantage of someone in a vulnerable state so he chose to step in. He always had a kind of overprotective attitude toward you, anyone who he deemed important enough really. As a roommate he wasn't bad at all, very welcoming and often the one to bring food or make it. Plus it was fun to have someone who he could talk about his gang with.

When you would cook he would come up behind you and jokingly tell you the things you were doing wrong. What? He had to teach you his favorites of course. He got a little more handsy when he felt like you were more comfortable around him, which then led you to teasing him by grinding against him while he tried desperately to keep his composure. When you left he missed you so much he invited himself over to your place every night until you started welcoming him with kisses.

Baji had a hard time adjusting to you living with him cause for the first few weeks he still walked around half-naked and would make you a flustered mess. When he noticed how much you stared he would flex when he noticed it, asking you if you want to touch or maybe work out with him sometime. He would love to give you private lessons.

Sadly not the kind you had in mind. He might be a flirt and a tease but he only makes a move after you make it first and even then he's hesitant because if this goes too far it will only be harder to part ways after. It was funny that he kept telling himself that while shoving his tongue down your throat. His thoughts were true a week after you left you heard he was looking for a full-time roommate. And what do you know, so were you.

Guardian Angel AU

So this is a NaeIshiMondo AU (tbh when is it not?) which means that Makoto is the main character here.

Makoto is your average Naegi. Makoto Naegi-ing all over the place. This includes his crazy good luck. However, at some point he does a stupid idiot thing and hits his head really hard. He wakes up to the sound of unfamiliar voices.

“You we’re supposed to be watching him while I watched our surroundings!”

“I looked away for two seconds, Taka, gimme a damn break!”

Makoto opens his eyes and sees two people with wings standing above him. Obviously he freaks the fuck out because why are there winged people in his house all of a sudden?? Meanwhile, Taka and Mondo just freeze up cause why is their mortal yelling at them like he can see them??

Eventually Makoto calms down enough that Taka can explain that he and Mondo are his guardian angels. (I’ll mention here that Taka’s wings are a white and red ombre, and Mondo’s are black with rich purple inner feathers).

According to Taka, Makoto’s luck was so bad that his previous guardian angel quit out of stress. Taka had just died and was completely scandalized at the idea of spending eternity doing nothing, so he decided to take on the challenge.

Mondo died shortly afterwards, and decided to become a guardian angel because he was bored and it gave him an excuse to fight something. The gods were like “Okay we’ll assign you to this freak down on Earth who’s really bad at being alive. You can help out Ishimaru.”

So anyway rivals to lovers ishimondo happens, and now we’re here. Makoto listens to this and is like. “… Okay… I’m gonna go to bed… Just do… whatever you do when I can’t see you…” and passes the fuck out.

Taka and Mondo are like “Okay! :D” and then the second Makoto falls asleep they’re like “The mortal we’ve been pining after for years can talk to us now oh my god we’re gonna die a second time.”

Time passes and Makoto grows closer to the both of them. Fluff ensues. They fall in love. All that pizazz.

At some point the gods are like “oh shit he can see them he can’t do that” and start targeting Makoto. Taka and Mondo obviously protect him, cause the heavens can’t get mad at them for doing their jobs, and cool action scenes are mixed in with the sweet romance.

While Canonicity is a bit dubious what do you think of that one bit of, if IshiMondo survived they would've moved in together and having been in love but never realized it

OK SO, I THINK ABOUT THIS ALL THE TIME, NOT BECAUSE OF THE IMPLICATIONS OF THIS BECAUSE. Let's be 100% clear, I think anybody could've drawn this conclusion on their own without much help. I THINK ABOUT THIS A LOT BECAUSE. WHO WAS THE TWITTER PR WHO WROTE THAT? It actually wasn't the only time that Ishimondo was teased like a carrot on a string on twitter either. I don't have screenshots so you'll just have to take my word for it, but there was one instance where they tweeted about the valentines day cakes with the caption "if they're on the cakes together, does that make these pairings* canon?" (or something of that vein) (*the other pairing was komahina I believe), and another instance was I believe a DM where someone asked about a pairing of two COMPLETELY UNRELATED dr3 characters (i forgot which ones, sorrie). I think they asked how cute they were together on a scale from one to ten. and the account. had the GALL. THE ABSOLUTE AUDACITY. TO SAY SOMETHING LIKE; "They'll have to work if they wanna catch up to Kiyotaka and Mondo." I need to know WHO this pr was. Was it the same person? Who are they? Where are they now? do they know the damage they've caused? BUT. In terms of Taka and Mondo both surviving, going through the whole future foundation rigamarole, and all the while slowly pining for eachother; obviously I love it as a trope. It pokes into the implications of everyone getting their memories back, so that makes me wonder how their relationship would change. It's something I would love to explore more often as a concept, since we really never get to see these two react to the tragedy as a whole.

Takemichi always waits for his kid and is often one of the first parents to arrive. He notices you waiting, looking at him and smiling his way. The first few times he doesn't talk to you, just gives you a polite smile as he picks his kid up and leaves. When he sees you for the nth time he begins to chit chat to pass the time and honestly he doesn't even hear the bell go off, he's so engrossed with his conversation with you. A little embaressing on his end but cute on yours.

Mikey is only there sometimes, he and his ex pick the kid up in shifts depending on the day. However he always welcomes his kid with a big smile and lifts them up, asking how the day's been. When the two of you start talking he wants to pick his kid up more often to have an excuse to talk to you, won't admit it though cause how would that look? Luckily his kid seems to notice that he's been talking to you a lot and finds it funny, they could have two moms and a dad if it works out.

Draken looks really scary as he waits outside which gets him suspicious looks from quite a few parents. He was really surprised when you started talking to him. You were honestly a bit scared of him too, with all his tattoos and scary face but turns out that he's a very sweet man, and a good dad judging by how fast his kid runs to him. A huge flirt too, you find out when he asks for a date. Og not a play date for the kids, a very grown up date, with the two of you all alone.

Baji is someone who all the kids look forward to seeing cause they love to be lifted up by him. That incudes your kid and its how you meet, when you go apologize for your kid hanging off his arm like a swing. His very, very strong arm. Oh god, you were staring at him. But judging by the smirk on his face he didn't mind it at all. In fact he started to show up in sleeveless shirts since that day. So much eye candy for you.

Takashi notices immediately that you don't have a ring on your finger or a wedding band. He doesn't say anything about it for the longest time because he's here for his kid, not to pick up ladies. However he can't deny that he's been looking at you. His ex-wife hasn't beein in his or his kids life for years now and his kid has noticed the two of you hanging out, or actually pining for each other. It's almost like a parent trap situation when the two of you are the last parents to leave, making you talk to each other.

Kokonoi first meets you at the park where your kids are playing. He already likes you but figured he missed his chance to ask you out for coffee that day. Imagine his surprise when it turns out you've chosen the same kindergarten for your kids. Your kids were already friends from playing in the park so it was easy for the two of you to arrange playdates for them, getting closer and closer to each other in the process.

Oh! YES! So, this is probably my favorite Ghost of Tsushima fic I've written. This is the first (finished) novel length fic I wrote so I am so ridiculously proud of it. (RIP Autumn Heat Changing Seasons, I shall finish you one day)

But director's commentary. First of all this fic wouldn't exist without your theories about what modern music the characters would like and that "Thirsting over Ryuzo" post. You inspired me and that fic is dedicated to you.

Secondly, I love the argument in the car and the food-porn in this fic. Writing about those delicious meals was so good. I am ridiculously proud of the argument in the car and having Bilbo Baggins on Yuna's playlist. Taka is such a sneaky shit of a little brother <3

The pining though. Damn did I make Taka a thirsty boy XD

I think my favorite underrated scene is Ryuzo giving Taka the crab. It's the first time we see him being soft and caring. Up until now he's been very hard and pushy in his overtures, but this is the first time we see him be gentle. And I don't know if anyone's ever held a tiny crab, but the feeling of it's little legs skittering is magical because it's just so tiny. <3

Naruto and sasuke becoming super close as genin in a communicative and bonding way compared to canon. Taking care of eachother training being leisure. It throws sasuke massively off course as itachi becomes more a lingering thought. Naruto being introduced to more uchiha customs which makes him sad about family and stuff and they sneak off to the library where it’s bare scares on uzumaki - mostly konoha propoganda which neither can understand cause kids. Naruto meeting nekoba and her apprentice.

It makes things 100x worse when orochimaru digs his claws into sasuke and itachi torturing him. When sasuke leaves naruto is more terrified than challenging towards konoha striking sasukes name from their favor and brands him as a criminal. They crack down on narutos freedom and he isn’t allowed to go with jiraiya - tsunade being put under the thumbs of the elders and Danzo throwing weight around. Etc etc lots of plot to fuel naruto leaving the village and running away to nekoba where he trains to be stealthy, seals, and jinchuuriki shenanagins. He basically becomes a book and lore nerd under her care more stuff happens narutos been missing for years and the other tailed beasts are treated worse for par ever since naruto left bc of his actions.

Id like to twist the usual to be if sasuke remains on canon path of post killing itachi and learning the truth and wanting revolution he steers taka into hunting the other beast hosts in order to recruit them to taka and help assist him in those efforts. A much more humane lens empathizing with the hosts and beasts vs using them as tools. Insert lots of naruto regret and pining

Naruto on the other hand flits around. Does not engage in any sort of social or political activity ignoring his moral compass. Living in isolation and sticking to non ninja villages or collecting uzumaki history. I think after everything he would be very self preserving for once his morals only extending to support the completely defenseless and poor.

This au is very much in shambles and is such a different take than I’m used to ontop of being rough on naruto worldbuilding the only thing I know is I want naruto to have the habit of disguising as all sorts of different identities whenever flitting about in public spaces and sasuke immediately recognizes him when they cross paths and it’s a lot of drama and chasing and tldr naruto joins the taka crew which is made up of junchuriki survivors too their enemy being the village systems and whoever follow be they kages elders other powerful political figure etc

I've actually had Matsu, Forest & Camellia in my library for quite a while, but I haven't really played with them until recently. I'm a little bit in love with them now.

The kids all have the same birthday. Matsu is only a couple of hours younger than Forest & Camellia

Their full names are Camellia Destiny Abbottsford, Forest Winter Abbottsford, and Matsu Abbottsford. All their names have significant meaning for their parents.

Matsu's name means "pine tree"

The children are bilingual, or will be when they fully learn to talk. Fox speaks English to them and Takahiro speaks to them in Japanese.

Takahiro has chosen a "Canadian name" since moving to Canada, because a lot of people can't say his real name correctly, and he wants to give them an easier option. Fox teases him about it, because the name he picked is also the name of someone famous. (David Suzuki)
