Inspired by this prompt. Lyrics from "Home" by Phillip Phillips.

In the Digimon Adventure universe there are so many ships, but what's so strikingly beautiful about Taichi and Koushiro -whether they're romantic or platonic- to me is that they always seem to find each other again in a very pure way that happens naturally.

Both of them had to face their troubles and demons, deal with traumas both together and seperately. But in the end they can come home to each other and help each other heal. And that's a relationship, friendship and dynamic that will stick with me for a long time. (On a very personal level that is, because I myself have been struggling a lot with the concept of finding and keeping my "homes" -both literally and figuratively-. Only shows what a ship can do to a person, am I right?)

90. Break

“I need… a break.” Koushirou gasped between breaths. It was too hot for this. Sweat was dripping into uncomfortable places. His t-shirt clung to his body and did nothing to alleviate the heat stroke he was no doubt going to end up with. The muscles in his legs wobbled and he feared his face was about to meet the concrete. “How’d you… convince… me to… do this?”

Taichi, in all his athletic glory, had the nerve to turn around — jogging backwards so he could easily talk to Koushirou. “Hey, you were the one who said he was stuck on his project,” Taichi replied with a smile, “and exercise is a great way to boost brain functioning.”

Well, yes, he knew that — logically. Except he thought Taichi had something like yoga in mind or a leisurely walk. Koushirou still didn’t know how he ended up running of all things. “I… hate you,” he grumbled. It was the simplest thing he could say that somewhat relayed his frustrations. His lungs burned too much to utter anything else. Except his words only managed to make Taichi grin wider and for Koushirou to frown as sweat dripped into his eyes.

Well, I wasn't able to find the time to continue koushirou week, but secretly that's because i was saving my energy for taikouvember :]

Of course, I'm starting a day late, but what can ya do...

anyway, this is for the Day 1 prompt, Canon / AU I've wanted to draw something for this scene & those messages since I watched Kizuna... These two are so funny. I of course love how well they get along, but I also always appreciated how both Taichi and Koushirou can be stubborn & get angry with eachother over silly things, but they're always quick to get over it and patch things up!

Also Taichi's emoji usage makes me laugh
