LUKE AND MAMMON REQUEST!!

Something slice of life?? Mc and mammon could go grocery shopping then see luke and now its all just a big familt outing doing chores together

A/N: Ahhhh I finally got my creativity back!!!! (About time brain, c'mon) Summary: It was Mammon's turn to do groceries, and MC decided to tag along (totally not because Mammon practically begged them to lol). They find Luke and Simeon, and after finding out Luke deserves a reward, they all decide to stop by a flower shop!

Genre: Fluff Content: Gender neutral MC, (implied?) MC x Mammon content, MC is implied to be able to cook better than Solomon

"Human, let's get goin'!" "I'm coming, I'm coming!!" Mammon helps MC down the steps of the House of Lamentation, which earns him a thank you that he brushes off with a flustered face. The two quickly make their way to the market, but decide to make a quick trip at the shopping district. Mammon was trying to not get distracted by the shiny new things in the shop windows when he notices two familiar somebodies.

Those two familiar somebodies happened to be Simeon and Luke.

“Let’s go say hi!” MC drags Mammon to the two angels with no resistance, and Luke was the first to notice them. He tugs on Simeon’s shirt, and he looks away from the store window. The elder angel greets MC and Mammon with a smile.

“Hi you two!” Luke greets, with an equally if not more wide smile.

“Heya, watcha out shoppin’ for?” Mammon asks.

“Luke hit a milestone in his baking skills so I thought I should get him something, we needed to get groceries anyways.” Simeon tells the two.

“That’s amazing Luke! Good job!” MC praises, to which Luke bashfully smiles.

“Hehe, thanks!”

“Anythin’ specific ya want?” Mammon asks the young angel, who ponders this for a moment.

“I wanted to research more about Devildom plants and botany! From what Barbatos showed me, it’s so varied!!”

“There’s a flower shop not too far from here, wanna go look?” MC asks. “I’m pretty sure they have flower and botany guides for sale.”

“Ah, the one not too far from the market, it just opened recently if I recall correctly.” Simeon notes.

“Yea! That sounds awesome! I want to go!” Luke smiles, with stars in his eyes.

“Hey Sims, if you’re busy, we can take him there.” Mammon offers. “Most of our groceries come from the market anyways.”

MC nods in agreement. Simeon frowns, not wanting to trouble the two.

“Are you sure that wouldn’t be much of a bother?”

“Nah, it’s fine!” Mammon waves his hand dismissively. “Besides, it’s been a while since either of us hung out with Fido.” "Hey!! I told you not to call me Fido!" Simeon pats Luke on the back in comfort while he smiles at Mammon and MC. "I don't see why Luke can't go with you." The elder angel takes out a small pouch and gives a fair amount of grimm to MC, who pockets it. "That's for anything Luke may want, I trust you two to bring him to Purgatory Hall before dinner."

"Aye aye!" MC and Mammon both do small salutes before Mammon drags Luke to the direction of the market, a yelp of surprise coming from the young blond as he tries to get Mammon to wait for MC, who shoots Simeon a smile before following them.

Getting to the market, MC meets Luke and Mammon in front of a "exotic ingredients" stall, which was really just cooking and baking ingredients from the human world and the Celestial Realm imported to the Devildom, which makes them a bit more expensive then Devildom ingredients.

"Oi! Human, do ya think we can get some of this stuff from the human world? You haven't made anythin' from the human world in a while!"

"Yea! I missed your cooking, it definitely beats Solomon's cooking." Luke adds on.

"Sure, I'm guessing Lucifer wouldn't mind if I spent a little extra for this." MC muses, letting Mammon put some human world ingredients in the basket and paying for it with some of the money Lucifer gave them from groceries.

After a bit more grocery hunting, they make their way to the flower shop, which had dozens of flowers on sale upon entering. Along with flowers all arranged by color, they offered garden and flower books near the back, most of them were planting guide books, but others were just flower fact books.

A book on one of the lower shelves caught Luke’s attention. The front covered had the title of “Flower Symbolism: A Guide to What Your Flowers Mean!”

“Oh cool!”

“What’d you find, Luke?” MC asks.

Mammon and MC peek over the young blond’s shoulder and read the title. Mammon raises an eyebrow.

“Eh? Flower symbolism? Isn’t that the thing where flowers can mean different things?”

“Yea!” Luke smiles, opening the book and flipping to a random page.

“Orange gerberas often symbolism warmth, enthusiasm and energy, which is in line with its bright color.” Luke quotes from the book. He flips to another page, one about sunflowers.

“Sunflowers are known to mean adoration and devotion, and their symbolism with the sun makes the name rather fitting.” He quotes again.

“Huh, never thought this’d be a thing, guess it makes sense though.” Mammon hums as Luke goes to the counter to buy it.

While MC and Luke were at the register, Mammon had an idea. A corny one, but an idea nonetheless.

“Mammon?” MC calls out, snapping the second eldest out of his thoughts.

“H-Huh? Yea?”

“You coming?”

“Uh..” Mammon looks at the book Luke was holding in his arms. Buying flowers for these two wouldn’t be the worst idea, right?

“I’ll meet ya out in a couple minutes, still wanna have a quick walk round.” Mammon says.

“Oh, okay! We’ll just be outside the shop!”

MC and Luke leave the shop and Mammon is quick to use the money he earned from his side hustles to buy bouquet of sunflowers for MC and orange gerberas for Luke, and he couldn’t help but get excited at the idea of giving them flowers, but he couldn’t help but be a bit nervous.

He eventually got outside and sees MC and Luke with some crows on the steps below. He felt like a proud father watching his crows make noises of affection when Luke and MC pet them.

He makes his way down, and MC was first to spot him. They greet him with a smile and Luke looks up and waves before returning to petting the crow he was before.

“Hey Mammon, all done?”

“Yep..”

The crows perch themselves on Mammon’s shoulders while he leans down to Luke’s level and gives him the bouquet of orange gerberas.

“Here, got ya this.”

Luke looks at him with wide, surprised eyes but he eventually takes it with a giggle, understanding what it meant.

“Thanks Mammon!”

Mammon smiles and pats him on the head, something that nowadays doesn’t really bother Luke if it’s the second born, and stands up. The Avatar of Greed faces MC with a blushing, bashful expression, unable to look them straight in the eyes.

“H-Here.. Got ya this..” He stumbles, holding out the bouquet of flowers for MC to take.

MC was clearly not expecting this, and Mammon feared that MC didn’t like them, but after a moment of silence, they take the bouquet with a smile, squeezing Mammon’s hand in appreciation.

“Thank you, Mams..”

“D-Don’t mention it..”

Mammon lets out a major sigh of relief when MC wasn’t looking, talking to Luke about the plans going forward.

They decided to get the last groceries and then MC and Mammon would take Luke back to Purgatory Hall.

Mammon couldn’t help but grin as Luke happily showed Simeon the flowers the second born got him alongside the book about flower symbolism.

A few days later, Mammon was planning on going to his favourite human’s room to check on them, but he was pleasantly surprised when he saw MC had set up a whole system of artificial light so they can grow properly, since the Devildom doesn’t really have a sun.

“Oh, hi Mammon!”

Mammon yelps in a bit of surprise as MC caught him staring.

“O-Oh.. H-Hey.” He stammers, trying to play it cool. “Do you like the flowers I got you..?”

“Yeah, I really do..”

It was a love story from the very beginning.

Breaking Walls (Part. II)

(12x22)

Hello my friends! We are about to finish the metas from season 12.

This time we will talk about Leader!Sam and the Foreshadow of Healing!Dean from season 14.

Trapped

The episode opens with Sam, Dean and Toni locked inside the bunker, trying desperately to find a way out.

The curious point of it, is that they will try a spell to break free...

SAM: Seems like pretty basic ingredients. Nothing we don't already have. Oh. (...) The mechanisms “must be anointed with the blood of virgins.” (...) I mean, I've read half a dozen purification rituals in the last hour. If we used one of those on – on our blood...

DEAN: Then what? Revirginize it?

SAM: Maybe.

TONI: So we purify the blood, then do the spell.

Focusing on the symbolism here, first of all, the bunker becoming a trap, and the boys trying to scape from it, is a foreshadow of Dean trapped in his own body, possesed by AU!Michael. But then the spell they choose, need purity, virginity, clean blood.

Purity will be a relevant point in season 14 as the goal searched for AU!Michael and as a recalling to Purgatory, foreshadowing Purgatory 2.0 in season 15.

So when Toni says WE PURIFY THE BLOOD AND THEN DO THE SPELL, she's giving us the prelude for Healing!Dean in season 14. The path Dean will take to purify his soul, to really grow after being possesed, and facing himself. He will have to find his own in once to break free from Michael, and his emotional prison.

While talking about the way Dean had pictured his death, this is the face he made when they mentioned "blaze of glory"

Which is not the face you would do if you really wanted to die of that. Dean is, at this point, as he was in season 10, considering his options, he is growing up and the blasting idea of die as "blaze of glory" is not what he really wants for himself.

When we heard his confession in season 10 and then we saw him meeting Jesse and Cesar in Season 11, we can infer what's in his heart. What he really wants. Curiously, the topic of season 14.

The explosion Dean made on the wall to break free, is a symbolic representation of the big turning point in his life when he lost Castiel.

Breaking down the walls

The mention of Jericho at the beginning of the episode refers to "break down the walls".

Jericho's battle, described by the bible, was the first battle israelites to conquer Canaan. Jericho was powerfully guarded by wall, they were able to break down in the seventh day of the battle.

What this has to do with this episode? Well. Is an episode that shows us a lot of wall that fall and break down. First of all, the bunker becoming a prison, Dean broke the wall. Now is time to break emotional/psychological wall: when he gets inside Mary's mind, trying to reach her through a very emotional speech, he will be breaking those walls, and at the same time, he will be foreshadowing Cas and Sam getting inside his head to reach him, in his emotional prison in 14x09.

Dean reached Mary through family love, but it was necessary two kind of loves to break Dean's walls: Sam (family love) and Cas (romantic love) in season 14.

The speech Dean gave to his mom to reach her is the self knowledge about his traumas.

And because is a Berens episode, we have the parallels between scenes, to show us a message.

In one scene we have Sam trying to break down the walls of British Man of Letters to defeat them, guiding a team of hunters, foreshadowing his leadership in season 14.

And in the other scene, we have Dean trying to break down his mom's walls from her emotional prison.

Bot scenes interrelated with the profound meaning that will have Dean's possesion by AU!Michael.

The way Dean's speech to reach his mother is a reflection of his own self, is the perfect philosophical path he will take in season 14: Self discovering, self acceptance.

So, we can infer that the parallel between Sam's battle against BMoL is a reflection of Dean's battle to reach his mother, but at the same time, Dean's future inner battle to break free from his emotional prison.

Sam defeats and kills the head of BMoL, releasing the american hunter's from her. Just like Dean will release his mother from the mental control. And just like Dean will break free from his emotional prison in season 14.

Dean's self aknowledgment of his traumas

When Dean arrives to his mother's mind, he finds her younger, taking care of him and Sam before she died. Is a perfect (fake) world her own mind had created to keep her away from the reality, because the reality hurts. This is the perfect parallel to 14x09, when Sam and CAS find Dean in the Rocky's bar.

DEAN: Look, I know that they messed with your head, okay? I know it feels better in here. It feels safer. (...) Mom, look at me. (...) You're choosing this.

Dean is aware his mother is trapped in her own mind, her own emotional prison. That's not real. This way he is mourning his childhood's mother too. Because he faces her, and he tries to drag her back to what she is now.

DEAN: You promised you'd keep me safe. And then you make a deal with Azazel. Yeah, it saved Dad's life, but I'll tell you something else that happened. Because on November 2, 1983, old Yellow Eyes came waltzing in to Sammy's room, because of your deal. (Mary turns abruptly and walks past Dean to Sam’s crib in the living room) You left us. Alone. 'Cause Dad was just a shell. His perfect wife? Gone. Our perfect Mom, the perfect family... was gone.

Okay, i will make a cut here. When Dean starts the speech that will make Mary to break free, he starts saying YOU PROMISE ME YOU'D KEEP ME SAFE. He's talking about him, here, that's why I said that in this same speech Dean Winchester finds himself, his traumas, as the begining of his healing journey. Then, he narrates the big scene that changed his life forever. That day he went from a normal kid to have a hard life. YOU LEFT US is pointing at the demand to his mother, the empty space that must be filled (by Dean). Something he had in his heart, burried. Is te request of that little 4 years old kid. DAD WAS JUST A SHELL is also demanding to John Winchester for not be for them as he should. He was a shell, empty spot it must be filled. (By Dean). The perfect wife and mom doesn't exist, it was a fantasy Dean kept in his mind, it was the image he had of Mary Winchester. The image of the little boy. The perfect family, gone. Remarks the mourn Dean is doing, as an exercise while talking to his mother.

Dean's aknowledgment of his role in Sam's life brings him sorrow and pain, because as he will continue saying, he feels he failed.

DEAN: And that wasn't fair. And I couldn't do it. And you wanna know what that was like?

They killed the girl that he loved. He got possessed by Lucifer. They tortured him in Hell. And he lost his soul. His soul. All because of you. All of it was because of you.

Even when Dean is taking all of the bad things that happened to Sam on his back, he shows his mother she started it all. But look how Dean carries with all these curses.

DEAN: I hate you. I hate you. And I love you. 'Cause I can't – I can't help it. You're my Mom. And I understand...'cause I have made deals to save the ones I love more than once. I forgive you. I forgive you. For all of it. Everything.

Okay, this is very deep. First of all, we have Dean starting his ILY journey right here. The firsts words are said by his innocent heart, the 4 years old kid is talking here: I HATE YOU AND I LOVE YOU, is the duality of his feelings, his deep fears, and his repressed emotions. He hates his mother Because he had to go through all of that, and because Sammy had to go through all of that because of her mistakes. So, as the child he was once, he says I HATE YOU AND I LOVE YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE MY MOM. Then, it comes the grown up man talking, as an adult, Dean is able to understand and forgive Mary's mistakes. Now that he is a man, he can connect with his mother's errors. And he is able to forgive her, reaching that peace he needed in his heart with her and with himself.

DEAN: On the other side of this, we can start over, okay? You, me, Sam. We can get it right this time. But I need you to fight. Right now, I need you to fight. I need you – I need you to look at me, Mom. I need you to really look at me and see me. Mom, I need you to see me. Please.

This, this is huge. Why? Because is a parallel to the mixtape scene. Look how Dean mentions 'YOU, ME, SAM', there's not doubt, not head tilting, no regrets as it was in the mixtape scene, why? Because there's no doubts Dean is talking about FAMILY, and not RANTIC LOVE HERE. In the mixtape scene he puts Sam as a shield, because he needed to protect himself from his own feelings YOU, ME (CAS/DEAN) it wouldeant JUST CAS AND HIM, THE TWP OF THEM, ROMANCE. GAY. But putting Sam there, he turns that into FAMILY. Now, there's not doubts in this scene, because Dean is talking about family. There's not shield needed. Family: YOU, ME, SAM. In both scenes he is asking for a new beginning, work toge as a family. But in the mixtape scene there was this romantic tension giving it an all different meaning.

When Dean asks his mom to really look at him, is the way he will bring her back to reality. Because the grown up man in front of h is the real one, his real son. The same will happen with Dean being possesed by AU!Michael, in which Dean will be able to see himself as he really is.

To Conclude:

This episode was full of symbolism, but the main topic was how to break walls, emotional walls, as a prelude to season 14, in which we will have Healing!Dean and Leader!Sam.

Genuinely flattered to be tagged by my favourite Wolfstar writer @veeagainsttheday *___* - I, of course, have forgotten every song that has ever existed whilst doing this

1. Favourite song at the moment

I'm still riding the Eurovision high, so probably Zitti e Buoni - Maneskin, or maybe even I Wanna Be Your Slave - Maneskin. Other bangers include: Technicolour, Discoteque, Shum, 10 Years, Embers (#wewasrobbed #noteven1pointeurope? #rip). Before May, I was on a real Elle King kick, so would have been Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)

2. A song you associate with your favourite ship

Oof, tricky, for whatever reason, my brain does not readily associate ships and songs together for me? Here's a few that I can come up with after wracking my brain for a while.

Booker/Misery: Good Thing Gone, Chained, Sober - All by Elle King. The voice of his poor, broken little heart

Percy/Oliver: It's Late - Queen. Based off a scene in a fic that I will finish, damn it.

Merlin/Arthur: My Friend - Dan Deacon. Oof those post finale feels.

Wolfstar: .. difficult. I would say Cybertronic Purgatory - Janelle Monae, #theveil. But it also reminds me hugely of my friend who died last year and .. It's hard to relisten to it, however brief it is. I can't really think of anything else for Remus/Sirius :/

Looking back, I do realise these are all pretty angsty .. I do like fun, happy songs and fun, happy fics! Just .. angst speaks to me, apparently.

3. A song that could be about you

A bit tongue in cheek because I can't think of anything else: I'm In Love With My Car - Queen. Thrilling Roger vocals, and I referred to my car as "a very pleasant lad" to one of my colleagues yesterday. And he is.

4. A song you think is overrated

There are plenty .. There was a song that got played so often on Absolute on my commute in, I would deliberately change my radio to static rather than listen to it. Can't remember what it is now, but it incensed me constantly. Dishonourable mention to Beneath Your Beautiful, which I don't think is overrated but the grammar of the title is like ants under my skin, and one of my university roommates used to play this on a loop, and sing to it, AND try to learn it on my keyboard, and I think it might have genuinely been the thing to tip me over the edge during third year. The murder would have been justified.

5. A song that reminds you of a good memory

Oooh .. Start Me Up - The Rolling Stones. It doesn't remind me of any particular moment, but always reminds me of the MASSAMAFIA gang and many trips together and I miss them so much ;__;

6. The last song you listened to

Right Here, Right Now - Fatboy Slim. Radio X was playing it when I was waiting in the drive thru, so I skanked along whilst waiting for my nuggets

7. A song that makes you laugh

Anything off the Music For The Mature B Boy album by DJ Format, particularly Ill Culinary Behaviour or English Lesson (remix), he brings a lot of humour into rap. Or One Vision - Queen, because of the sheer glee at being able to yell "FRIED CHICKEN!" at the end and also in the video, Roger does this and it kills me every time

8. A song you want your mutuals to listen to

Party Poison - My Chemical Romance: haven't got a shoutout elsewhere on here and I am *theoretically* seeing them in 2022, subject to the pandemic, and it is time to begin getting hyyyyyyped.

Volume LXXXVI

It was a love story from the very beginning

Lovers Separation (Part II)

Hi my friends!!! I bring to you another meta from season 12, this time a very meaningful episode, because it showed another foreshadow of lovers separation. Ugh, and tonight's episode... Like... Okay.

I will start now before crying all over hehehehe.

Gwen and Marcus: a love tragedy

The episode starts with these two lovers, having fun in the woods. But, pay attention to their wardrobe.

Marcus is wearing blue (Castiel) and orange with a tone of beige, just like the trenchcoat. And Gwen is wearing Green (Dean).

They sat quietly to enjoy the evening...

The tent is a mix of green and blue (Destiel) and Castiel mirror seats in a green chair while Dean's mirror seats in the blue. The colors and the scene are pointing at DESTIEL, so, what is about to happen, will be a foreshadow of Destiel tragedy at the end of the season.

Now... The dialogue here:

GWEN: I’ll miss this.

MARCUS: I’ll miss you. And I get it. I mean Washington has the best veterinary program in the country. You got in. I mean, you have to go. But people make this long distance thing work all the time, right?

Dean's mirror is not using the words correctly, Green should say I WILL MISS YOU. But is Marcus (Castiel's mirror) the one who says words correctly. And the long distance lovers is talking about the separation too. Is a blatant Destiel scene.

After this, we have Marcus going for more wood, and Gwen finds the ring in one of his boyfriend's gloves.

This ring represents the bond, but also, it represents like the Locket in the previous episode, the Destiel mixtape. Is a visible sign of their romantic love for each other.

Then, the tragedy, because Marcus (Castiel's mirror) dies.

The words I should say

Dean and Sam arriving to the crime scene, and the mixing dialogues...

DEAN: Oh, really?

SAM: Oh, that's great, Mom. Oh.- No, we're -- we're fine. We, uh...

DEAN: - It sounds like somethin'.

SAM: Yeah. Love you, too.

DEAN: All right, Cas. Let us know.

Why they mixed these two phone calls? Just like the mixing scenes Berens likes to write to show a point, this time, Perez mixes two chats. In which Sam ends the phone call with 'I love you too' to Mary, and Dean with 'All right. Let us know.' So, Sam is foreshadowing Dean's journey into expressing the L word, first to Mary, second to his Dad, third to Sam and the family that is TFW, and last, but truly very meaningful, the I LOVE YOU to Castiel.

Why? Because Cas already said it, but Dean didn't answered I LOVE YOU TOO, those are the words Dean needs to say.

Pay attention now to Gwen's house...

She's dressed in green again, mourning Marcus. The coaches are red and blue, (Destiel again, but red showing Dean's anger after Castiel's death).

She explains she tried to kill the hellhound with an axe. This weapon represents anger too.

And then we have this scene between Crowley and Lucifer:

This represents revenge, and ANGER, and is a foreshadow too for Dean and his crusade to kill Lucifer, saying yes to AUMichael. Because is Lucifer the one who will kill Castiel, and is Lucifer the one that haunts Sam.

But, returning to Gwen, and the words Dean should say... We had the car scene with her and Sam and this dialogue:

GWEN: I... [ Sighs ] I don't think I even know what “okay” means anymore. Marcus… going camping was my idea. I took him out there even though I knew. I knew it was over. I liked Marcus. He was sweet and kind. And he loved me. [inhales deeply] More than I ever loved him. More than… If I'd just told him… If I… Why couldn't I just tell him the truth?

SAM: Gwen...

GWEN: Yeah, but I didn't. [Voice breaking] I lied. I lied to make things easier. I… I'm sorry. I… We should go.

Regrets, the words she didn't say, she loved him. But she lied to herself she didn't to give it an end, but Marcus wanted to be with her. So she regrets to say those words. The same occurs with Dean. Dean couldn't said the L word back to Cas. Why? Because he is not ready, he keeps pushing his feelings down, repressing them. But he will learn how, slowly. Gwen is here Mourning!Dean, just like that widow in 11x15.

We had Dean saying thank you to Crowley because he saved Cas, that meant a lot, the same way Benny saved Castiel in Purgatory, Dean shows gratitude.

At the end of the episode we had Cas lying by the phone to Dean, and Dean suspecting something was wrong.

Castiel hates it, he doesn't like to lie, and mostly to Dean, but Dean feels deep inside something nos off with him.

Now... The scene in which Sam admits he's working with the BMoL caught my attention because Dean forgives him immediately.

DEAN: Well, okay.

SAM: Okay?

DEAN: What do you want me to say? Do I like it? No. Do I trust them? Hell, no. But you're right. We work with people we don't trust all the time. I mean, hell, I just Liam Neeson'd it up with Crowley. So if you wanna give this a shot, then… [ Scoffs ] Fine. But the minute-- and I mean the second-- something feels off, we bail.

SAM: Yeah. Of course. Deal.

The way Dean immediately forgives his brother and the way Dean won't forgive Castiel in 12x19 shows us the difference between FAMILY LOVE and ROMANTIC LOVE. Is because in the first, is family, and in the second, it hurts more because ranting reasons.

To conclude

This episode, just like the previous, talks about separation by death of two lovers. Is the foreshadow of the incoming tragedy at the end of this season.

Shows us too regrets, because Dean didn't said the words he needed to say, but it also starts the L WORD JOURNEY, our hunter will start soon.

Destiel meta. Supernatural 15x08 meta. Our Father Who are not in Heaven.

Hello my dears!!!! Did you enjoyed this mid season finale episode? It was epic to me because it was full of surprises and the cliffhanger... My friends... It surprised but then, recalling my whole metas from last season 14, is not so unexpected...

I will invite you to read my analysis about Purgatory before I can continue here...

Let's make a tour inside Dean's soul

In this meta I wrote in the pre season 14 hiatus, I talked about how Dean realizes he is in love with Castiel in Purgatory.

Purgatory is in the air

This is from episode 14x03, in which I saw parallels between AUMichael and Purgatory references.

Okay... Let's start this...

Is broken

When the episode starts and ruing the whole hour, we saw Dean and Cas being separated, showing us in the frames, the bond is disconnected.

They are working together but they're not in Synchronization and they are still mad and hurted.

Castiel showed by Sam's side. Like their bond is stronger now than Dean and Castiel's.

Even in the frame when Donnie is trying to read the demon tablet, we have Dean in one side and Sam and Cas on the other side.

When they are about to do the spell, Dean cut his hand, to use his blood and then Cas heals him... But Castiel for the first time DIDN'T TOUCH DEAN TO HEAL HIM. HE DIDN'T TOUCH HIM!!! And Sam side eying them noticing something is odd there...

Dean keeps treating bad Castiel. Sam and Dean are taking war decisions here and Cas is thinking about Jody, Donna and Eileen. The heart decision. He's emotional, because he had passed for too much, lost a lot of people and Jack because of Chuck. Dean snapped at him some other hard words "If you wanna stay here, then stay." Like... We are not going to obligate you to come with us.

If you don't want to come with me, fine. Stay!

That also is part of their bond, till now Castiel always offered himself to go with Dean, no matter what.

Fix it

When Rowena, Queen of Hell (OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!), Sent Sam to fill her glass... The scene was very interesting...

Cas... Empty seat...Dean

Rowena knew something was wrong with them, the connection is broken. She cares about those two. They answered at the same time a not really very convincing"Fine" to her. And yes... Rowena has something bro tell them.

They better fix things now they can, she couldn't do that with his son, and that's something that will live like a spine in her heart. So she knows what she's talking about...

And the mention of the Flesh to Flesh sex, and the camera showing Dean's priceless face... It reminded me to the "What is by is by" scene with Dean swallowing uncomfortably. Rowena's quotes has that effect on him.

How could Dean fix it?

When he is talking with Sam about Eileen... It gave me talking to myself vibes. Why? He mentioned the happy pie life, but them, as hunter's, can't have it. But what about settled down with a hunter?

Eileen... Is the perfect girl for Sam, according to Dean, because...

She knows about this life... Just like Cas...

She's hot... Just like Cas.

And they deserve better... Yes... They all deserve better...

The episode continued, and Cas and Dean weren't looking at each other... When one of them watched, the other didn't... And they kept doing that the whole episode...

But we were talking about how Dean could fix things with Cas? One is talking, like Rowena said... And second...

ADAM: What about 'I'm sorry'?

This was so so screaming WHAT ABOUT SAYING I'M SORRY TO CAS!??? Adam looked at Dean in the eye, and the camera showed us a very affected Dean.

Go To Purgatory

And if you have readed the metas I put at the beginning of this one, you will understand how perfectly this was constructed...

For me, Purgatory was the place in which Dean realized what he really wanted. Because he didn't feel human's necessities as EAT, SLEEP, etc... So, the only thing that remained in his head and heart... After clearing of all these things, was the Purity of his heart: TO FIND CASTIEL. BECAUSE HE LOVED HIM.

He prayed to him, every night, till he found him. And when CAS explained why he had gone... Boom!

Realization face!

That face right there, i wrote this a thousands of times and I can't believe they're coming back to this people, so maybe I was right. Dean realizes he loves Castiel right in this moment. It wasn't just friendship, it was more huge and pure. And he had to come to this place, this place that was pure, to get to the point of it.

It also was a prelude season 14: WHAT DO YOU WANT SEASON.

AUMichael asking to everyone, because he wanted to know what was wrong with his bond with Dean, because my theory says they didn't bond. They didn't. That's why Dean fought the possession. And that's why Michael wanted to know what Dean really wanted. And AUMichael wearing a lotus flower ring in episode 14x09 (the lotus flower means purity) and talking about purity, was the prelude to this. Because now is our Michael who put Dean and Cas together again in that pure place where Dean knew he loved Castiel.

So yes, you need to fix this, because this time IS BROKEN.

I just can't stop thinking about that scene in episode 6x20 when Dean desperately shouted to CAS WE CAN FIX THIS! AND Castiel answered DEAN IS NOT BROKEN!

Well... Now it is... Now is time...

"Leave. I want you dead. We didn't bond."

And Dean's regretful face...

To Conclude:

Dean and Cas keep mad at each other, the tension is so big, they need something big to happen to fix it.

Te recall to Carver era form the beginning of the season, reached his climax now in the cliffhanger of mid season, sending Cas and Dean alone, together, again to Purgatory, where Dean realized he loved Castiel. A pure place where he cleared his head (just as he said he wanted in 15x07).

Hello my friends!!! We are so close to finish season 8!!!! I can't believe how far we have come with these series of metas! I'm emotional right now... 😢💚💙

I had to put episode 22 in two parts so I can analyze in a better way.

Now let's start talking about Castiel... And how after ran away, he had Dean present...

Smart Heart and Beer

In episode 8x21 The Great Escapist (Edlund's) we are in front of a great strategist as Castiel is. He was avoiding the angel using the different locations of Biggerson's restaurant.

He had a little chat with one of the waitress, and asked for an interesting dish with tempura...

KARA: Uh, I'm sorry, mister, but you're gonna have to order more than coffee if you wanna keep the table.

CASTIEL: Of— of course, um. [glances at a menu] I'll have the smart-heart beer-battered tempura tempters.

KARA: Of course. Coming right up.

Read at that dish choice, the name is so symbolic... Smart heart... Is Castiel battered in beer... Is Dean.

Even knowing he had to left Dean behind, choosing the was decision over any other emotion, Cas is still battered in beer, he's still thinking about Dean and what he did to him. We will know better in episode 8x22 when he will try to fix things with the hunter.

What other proof do we have to say Cas was thinking about Dean, to protect him, and missing him and worried about how Dean would be feeling now? Well... This scene right here ...

Who's that good friend? Obviously he is talking about Dean, so, we had two comments Cas made about Dean. Proofs that he had him in mind, worried about him... Gawd... Destiel is gonna be the death of me... I'll be writing Destiel metas from my grave when I get old and die.

Castiel is special

The whole conversation Cas had with Naomi was revealing to us, because we understood there how many time the angel tried to control Castiel's rebellious and unpredictable behavior.

CASTIEL: We were supposed to be their shepherds, not their murderers.

NAOMI: Not always, angel. There was that day, back in Egypt, not so long ago, where we slew every first-born infant whose door wasn't splashed with lamb's blood. And that was just PR.

The word angel here, is used with irony, because it seems Castiel had an odd idea about what an angel should be. Against what an angel really is. Castiel talks about a divine and Righteous mission, angels should follow, is the same thing he said to Hester, because he really believes it. But Naomi knows that's an utopia. And that mission isn't in their priorities.

CASTIEL: Well, I wasn't there.

NAOMI: Oh, you were there. You just don't remember it.

NAOMI: (...)You have never done what you were told. Not completely. You don't even die right, do you? Where is the angel tablet, Castiel?

Naomi is just naming and naming what she thinks is failures of Castiel... But those are not failures... Those are characteristics that not angel has, and that's what make Castiel unique. Hated and Loved by his own kind.

Sam in front of too much Destiel drama

Okay, jumping now to episode 8x22 Clip Show, at the beginning of this episode we had a Destiel fight... It was very hard, because ... Poor Sammy was there... But ...

First of all we have to pay attention to the first scene... We had this character Tommy, from Wendigo episode in season 1, and there was this line...

GIRL: I can't believe you finally came up here with me.

TOMMY COLLINS: Why wouldn't I?

This is like the feeling inside Dean right now... He can't believe Castiel is back, but he can show him he's happy, because he's mad at the same time, and he need to show him how hurt he's, like a lesson, a hard one. Because he's so in love, he needs to overreact to it...

Dean's reaction is too way too much my friends, for just a buddy mad at his buddy, you know? Like... Dean was the jiltter lover here, I'm telling you... Look at this scene...

Ugh... Cold war my friends... Look how I'm ignoring you, because Dean is a schoolgirl in love, he will apply the cold war on Cas...

CAS: (...)I like this bunker. It's orderly.

SAM: Oh, give us a few months. Dean wants to get a ping-pong table.

CASTIEL: I've heard of that. It's a game, right?

Okay, why I'm pointing this out? Because a ping pong warnof cold words is about to start between CAS and Dean.

Ohhh this quote... The "I can go with you" a classic... But it doesn't work this time...

DEAN: Everything? Like, uh... Like ignoring us?

CASTIEL: Yes.

And here is when the US/WE gets started... Dean, heartbroken as he was, he confessed his feelings for Castiel and he was REJECTED, he saw Castiel didn't trust him, so he covered his soul again with this armor, pushing his feelings down, and there will be no more YOU AND ME, but this shield named YOU, ME, AND DAM. WE / US .

And he said it... He said what it hurted so much... But that's no everything... He said I NEED YOU, and Cas didn't respond to that, "I GAVE YOU NU HEART AND YOU JUST SMASHED IT".

That's why there's not apologize that would work with Dean right now.

Oooooohhh boom! Okay... That's one of the things, I think, Dean likes from CAS. Castiel is always trying to do the right thing. But right now... That's one of the things it took him away. So... Yeah... He's being hard with Castiel. He needs Castiel to realize how hurted he was... He needed Castiel to be worried about it. To recognize what he did to him by running away, after he confessed, and not trust him. Just the same feeling he had when he came back from Purgatory...

And the eye fucking... Okay guys...this is too much...

And pray for Sammy please. And the subtext in his words... "Do we have a room 7B?" Immediately after the old married couple fight and the eye fucking... Is reflecting his truly thoughts... "Guys... Just get a room."

Once Sam and Dean were alone, Sammy tried to be a mediator between them, but there was not resolution, Dean was very hurted, more hurted than mad, even if Sam said he should forgive him BECAUSE IS CAS.

But even so we had this scene...

Obviously we know who made that pop corn to CAS, right? It was Dean... Maybe after Sam's words... Okay... Dean can't be mad at him... For too long.

Crazy love is crazy...

But also... Castiel eating popcorn, could work as a foreshadow for Human!Cas.

Miscellaneous

The whole meaning with curing a demon, was a foreshadow for Demon!Dean and the way they will cure Dean. Even Crowley tasting the humanity, will be a Castiel mirror, and a foreshadow for Human!Castiel too.

To Conclude:

Castiel is a smart angel, he takes war decisions and is a very clever strategist.

He is different form other angel, and the things Naomi marked as failures in him, is what make Castiel unique.

Cas was away from Dean, but subtextually he named him twice while he was in his dangerous mission, what makes us infer, he was aware and thinking about Dean, and he knew his actions towards him will have some consequences.

Dean acted like a jiltter lover. He felt abbandoned and betrayed and rejected by Castiel in the crypt, after he manifested his feeling for him, so, it wouldn't be easy for him to forgive Castiel.

Even so, we saw he prepared pop corn for CAS .. like a contradictory behavior towards him, but a delicate attention to his friend. Also, Castiel eating pop corn could work as a foreshadow for Human!Castiel.
