You checked your watch, 1 more minute.

You shifted in place, in a position that would be comfortable enough to stay in for long.

And out of all the places in the castle, where were you hiding, you may ask?

A box.

Hidden in plain sight! Sometimes Horror liked to leave piles of boxes in certain places until he got the opportunity to trash them, so you used that to your advantage. You had taken an empty box that was big enough to fit you, got inside of it, and pulled the flaps closed.

You had poked tiny holes so you could see.

A buzz came from your watch, time was up.

You smile and stay completely still, limiting your breathing. You knew Dust, he is the type to use his senses, which for some reason skeletons have sharp senses like wtf.

You peek out the tiny peep holes, and soon enough you catch the form of dust, peering around the room. You hold your breath, movements completely still. You see him glance your way, but then look towards another way, a faint noise coming from there. In seconds he sprints towards the noise.

You let out your breath, snickering.

In the background you can hear a yelp from Killer, then a bunch of commotion before you can hear dust say, “gotcha.”

You huff out in amusement before stabilizing your breath once again.

“Now help me find the others.” You can hear him say in the other room.

“Sure thing dusty!” Killer teases and dust growls under his breath.

A few minutes go by and you peep through the holes, it was just you left. He found horror, killer and cross, only you to be left.

“Where ta fuck are they??” Killer cries out, getting angry.

“Dunno.” Horror responds.

Dust stays silent, you could see him staring intensely around the room. You then see him glaring at your box!

Wait.

He slowly walks over to your box, getting closer. Your breath catches and panic rises in you.

Shuffling above you, you look up and sure enough he has the carboard flaps in his hands, your hiding spot revealed.

“You little fucker.” He hissed before tapping you harshly on the head, “tag or whatever. A fucking box!? Are you serious!??”

With that you burst out laughing, You can hear Killer giggling right behind Dust, looking over his shoulder.

“N-no way! Ahaha!” Killer cackles.

You giggle at Dust’s obviously enraged and disappointed expression.

“I saw you pass me like 20 times.”

“Shut up.”
