It’s so good and unique as always with them ~ fav bsides - Paradise and Lucid but I liked All Night too!

But gingamingayo is one of my favorite songs ever so it deserves a 9 with one point taken off because it’s not a new song. Same with Everybody’s Got a $ecret. It was the only bside but I love that song so it’s my favorite

MIN YOONGI WAS SUCH A CUTE PRECIOUS BOY IN THE NEW SUCHWITA EP WITH TAEYANG! YOONGI WAS FANBOYING SO MUCH TT CUTE! THIS PART WAS A NICE (KINDA) PURR FROM YOONGI OMG! I actually didn't bother to remember the release date of this at all...lol

Taeyang seems like a nice, humble person to me after watching it. He has some things in common with Yoongi. (I'm a lil sorry for roasting Taeyang before now. But this hairstyle really isn't it...) As usual, deep talks about being famous and a lil on music. Taeyang gave me some nice advice. It's nice to see a lil more footage of Yoongi eating. Yoongi said he worked with Tablo and was really excited about it. Did they work together before? I don't remember hm. It was so cute that he talked more about how bigbang was a big role model for the boys. He said that they drank alcohol and then sang bang bang bang like 100 times at a karaoke place once Jk turned 20 lol Taeyang want Jimin and Yoongi to come to his house and he'll cook kimchi stew for them aww.

Bigbang really were iconic legends. Bang bang bang is such a bop. And I liked a few of their other songs too. I used to really like GD. They took forever to release anything though istg. My feelings on them are illogically bitter. Because of that guy with his big af scandal ew. Top's drug "scandal" doesn't count for me. The only ok ones might be Taeyang and Daesung for me.

GD used to be like one of the only people i knew the r name of in kpop, i’ve never invested time into looking deeper into them as a group though, i know a few members have been kinda iffy or at least accused of things 🥲

Entitled, “How to make an iconic K-Pop music video,” a 2018 Dazed article described the state of video directors thusly—“Despite K-pop’s year-on-year growth, the number of video directors – particularly those taking on high profile commissions – remains small.” Just how small is not clear. Much as with new group debuts each year, there is no official tally or list of directors working in the industry. Instead, the closest thing that exists are various fan-compiled lists across social media, forums, and YouTube videos that inventory directors and their work. These are hardly a substitute, as they are not meant to be comprehensive, favoring certain directors over others.

In their defense, compiling a comprehensive accounting of every director would be nearly impossible. The number of music video directors active each year is not constant. For example, consider April Shower Film. Founded in 2007 by director Song Won Young, the studio worked steadily since at least 2009, taking on multiple videos for Brown Eyed Soul in addition to miss A’s “Good-Bye Baby” and Orange Caramel’s “Shanghai Romance.” By 2019 though, they directed their last video, with a video for Nine9’s first solo release, “Dreamer.” Since then, they have not updated their Vimeo or website, although the latter remains active (but with a 2019 copyright notice in the footer). Moreover, they have not released a statement regarding their inactivity, meaning I am uncertain how to parse this disappearance, which raises an important question. If, theoretically, I was trying to count directors would they be included?

There are more like April Shower Film, directors and studios whose status is a question mark. Yet while their status may be a mystery, why the industry fails to retain talent, or even grow is not. Although the “smallness” of the talent pool for directing paired with the “oversaturated” idol scene, may give the allusion that there is work enough for everyone who wants it, the reality is different. Agencies, especially those on the upper tiers tend to gravitate towards the same high-profile director, repeating the same cycle. The most well-known directors tend to work with the most well-known groups that have the biggest budgets.

Even if a director does obtain work with a well-known group though, their hardship does not end there. Music videos in k-pop are the result of notoriously tight production schedules, often requiring multiple days of marathon long shoots. This usually means that staying on schedule requires directors to sacrifice sleep as well as a personal life, for both the video they are working on in the moment, but also their career.

Add in the amount of time editing and post-processing takes and multiply all of that by five or six times a year, or even multiple times a month. No wonder then so many directors and studios pivot to commercial work, burn out, and even disappear.

EPIK HIGH PROVEN A LEGENDARY POWERHOUSE AT “EPIK HIGH IS HERE Asia Pacific Tour 2022 in KUALA LUMPUR”

KUALA LUMPUR, 2nd December 2022 — Dubbed as Chapter 2 of their Asia Pacific Tour 2022, Epik High, a renowned South Korean hip hop act marked their first time performing in Malaysia as a night to be remembered for all in their latest concert tour – "EPIK HIGH IS HERE in KUALA LUMPUR".

Organised by CK Star Entertainment, the night begun with the first song in the setlist "Here," from their most recent album Epik High is Here下(Part 2) blasting in the newly operating and an addition to Malaysia’s ever evolving concert scene, Zepp Kuala Lumpur.

Despite the rainy weather outside, Malaysian High Skools flocked to the venue in excitement to watch the trio performing live, showing their passionate energy burning up the atmosphere even from the beginning.

“Hello beautiful Kuala Lumpur! Make some noise!” the group’s producer, Tablo greeted during the group introduction.

Sharing that this is their second-last stop for the tour, the group promised an unforgettable experience for the audience, where you can even curse at the things that are stressing you out, they added jokingly.

Originally consisting of various famous features, Epik High continues to wow with their recent hits "Rosario" and "Face ID."

Next, keeping with the momentum, a medley of their evergreen hits – "Love Love Love," "One" and "Fan" showcasing the group’s experience under their belts.

During the interlude, Tablo proceeded to introduce the newest 'dancing machine' who is also a 'father of two' — DJ Tukutz, who performed a dance break on stage with comical support from fellow members Mithra and Tablo. They're applaud with cheers and laughter from fans showing how laidback the veteran acts engaged with their audiences casually.

Topping the concert ending with a bang, with the iconic "Born Hater" surely made all of the concert attendees leaved satisfied for the night. The night clearly showed Epik High's success for their longevity are with wonderful discography and an undeniable teamwork when performing.

With this, we hope they will continue to include Malaysia as one of their concert stops in the future!
