Hinata- haunted house
A/N i dont know how to write for hinata yet sorry
On his way home from practice
Hinata found a flyer for a haunted house near by.
Your expectations were low. How good could a home made haunted house be?
But it was free. So you agree with Hinata that it was a wonderful idea.
And god the second you two walk in you get jump scared so hard your heart leaps into your chest and you leap into his arms
Hinata laughs it off, but you can feel him shaking as he holds you.
You both keep going deeper into the haunted house
The thought and preparation that went into this haunted house? Next level man! It told a story. A sad one too.
The entire time you both keep going, scared one minute
On the brink of tears the next
By the time you reach the end youâre bith crying and SHIVERING in eachothers arms. The walk back to your car you both are constantly checking behind you and flinching at every dry leaf that crunches beneath your footsteps
The haunted house became your yearly halloween tradition until the couple that hosted it moved away
The first year with out it nothing feels right
So the following year you both start up your own haunted house together
Keeping the tradition alive.
Atsumu- horror movie night
Atsumu wanted to go to a party
But you had already gone to THREE
THREE HALLOWEEN PARTIES
all in one month!
You were running out of good costumes!!!
So you convinced him to settle into your couch together
And watch horror movies
He was against the idea at first
But your doe eyes?
They got him.
âTsumu which should we watch first?!â You asked excitedly in your bat onsie
âYer pick babesâ
Sliding in Ringu to your dvd player
You slide into your spot under a blanket next to him
In the corner of your eye you can see Atsumu shrinking away from the tv as the movie progresses
âTsumu you arenât scared are ya?â You tease
âI ainât scared y/n! Iâm bot some babyâ he says with fake confidence
âSHIT!â He ends up screeching only five minutes later
By the end of the night heâs hiding behind you holding you tight
âWant me to put on something less scary dear?â You ask him
âN-no Iâm fine I ainât scared at all...but ya know if yer scared ya can change it...we could watch frankenweenieâ
âOkay tsumu lets watch thatâ you decide not to argue on how scared he is
The relief that washed over him as you watch
Absolutely adorable
(He still will not admit he was scared)
Bokuto- Trick or Treating
Both being somewhat children at heart
You decide whatâs the harm
With trick or treating as adults?
âY/nnnnnnn I miss trick or treatingâ bokuto whines to you
âWell whatâs stopping us from trick or treating?â
And as the month of october progresses
You are struck with a better idea
The day before Halloween when Bokuto comes home
Youâre waiting
âKĆ I have the BEST ideaâ
âReally?! What is it?!â Your eagerness clearly feeding him to be as eager
âWhat if we reversed trick or treatingâ
He tilts his head confused
âKĆ KĆ! Weâll go to peoples doors and give THEM candy!!!â
âAngel! Baby! Bunny! Kitten! Sugar plum! You are a GENIUSâ Bokuto beams
So you both get dressed up
And fill a big container with candy
And go door to door
Giving people candy
Altho one old couple slams the door on your face since you arenât kids
(Bokuto ate half the candy while you reverse tricker or treated)
(You did go home a little early because he did get an upset tummy)
Sakusa- avoiding trick or treaters
Sakusa wanted to break out of his shell
So he agreed to give out candy with you at your shared home
But when halloween actually came
He just couldnât bare the thought
A long day
A long week
Fuck a long month. He just. Couldnât do it.
Coming home with bags if candy you find him pacing around the living room
Stretching his hands in all sorts of ways
Going in circles
âSweetheart?â You ask
Putting your bags down and rubbing on your doorside handsanitzer
He looks up at you like a dear in headlights
âWhatâs wrong?â You inquire seeing the anxiety written all over his face
He takes a deep breath
And goes on and on about how scared he is
It comes out all in one sentence
So you gently take him by the hand to your couch
And reassure him that itâs okay
Thereâs always next year
Kissing the top of his head gently
You go to the kitchen and pour all the candy into a bowl
And shut off the outside light
âMore candy for me anyways!â You smile at him cheekily as you sit with the candy bowl in your lap
You flip on the xfiles
And enjoy your halloween in eachothers arms
(Next year Kiyoomi is ready! You both give candy out and have a wonderful time!)

Trick or Treat
Trick or Treat? you got Treat!
headcanons of Kuroo, Oikawa, Kita, and Kageyamaâs first Samhain together
shout out to my fellow pagan and wiccan babies this one is for you!
This is my first time writing a semi-proper headcanon. It was fun! I got a lot of improvement to do but itâs a good start.
Kuroo
at first kuroo doesnât get it
Heâs not really one super into witch stuff
A man of science!Â
But when you ask him all doe eyeâdÂ
To spend the evening with you
Helping you with rituals and spellworkÂ
He canât help but say yes
Everyday leading up you send him a text
âCan you buy me some orange candles?â
âKuroo sweetheart can you get me whole cloves?â
He doesnât really understand but everyday he comes home with the items you keep forgetting
He has work the day of
So the night before you do prep work together
You make him grind spices and things for you
Heâs strong and makes light work of it
While he is at work you cleanse the home
And do some independent spell work
And even bake some spellwork food
And when he comes home the house smells of
Cinnamon and many smells he canât quiet name
But it smells like comfort, warmth, and magic
And as you begin your evening spells
He just watches you
Like your magic is what makes the stars shine at night
âWhenâs the next holiday?â
Heâll ask you once you settle down for the night
âMm Yule is in Decemberâ
âCan we do stuff together for yule?â
Heâll ask sleepily leaning into you
âOf course sweetheartâ and you place a soft kiss on his forehead
Oikawa
oikawa is an obsessive person
Not in a bad way
...usuallyâŠÂ
so when he finds out you are pagan (or wiccan or what have you!)Â
He does a ton of researchÂ
Usually he doesn't have time off to spend with you
Heâs missed every holiday so far
But this year? He gets to spend Samhain with you
Heâs excited to spend a few days with you for it!
He wants to do the whole nine for two days with you
He comes home the night before the 31stÂ
With a box full of books and supplies
He even looked into spell work he wanted to try himself!Â
The next day you help him do all of his spells
And teach him how to do his own tarot reading
Boy he is having so much fun with you
âHey Oikawa do you actually believe in this stuff?â
You ask insecurities at the door wondering if he actually cares or if magic work is just for fun to him
âWell prince(ss) if aliens are real why not magic? I mean I was reading about some stuff and I donât see why it wouldnât have some impact? Even if it just makes you feel good, itâs that a type of magic?â
Side note but my god when he finds out what some couples do for Beltane he goes fucking feral and canât wait for that as well
Kita
Kita loves routines
a stable routine keeps him going
Your nightly tarot readingsÂ
And weekly offerings
And schedule with the moon
He loves these routines of yours and watching you do them
His grandma was religious too
Even if in a different way
So whenever he sees you doing your practice he is reminded of herÂ
He has never been the religious type
unlike his grandmother...
And he doesnât plan on becoming one
When you asked him to spend Samhain with youÂ
His blunt nature came across
âWhat for? I donât see why you want me toâ
And with a little pout you tell him
How you never do anything together for holidays
And how he merely watched you and your routinesÂ
âIâm not asking you to believe Shinsuke Iâm asking you to just...entertain the idea of itâ
He cares so deeply for you but honestly
Boy just doesn't get it
But when he sees you struggling with getting all your supplies together
He grabs the list you have while youâre sleeping and picks up all the items after working in the rice fields
And leaves them by your altar for you
The night of Samhain he doesnât participate so much
But he watched you
Maybe watching you practice on these big days
Will become a new part of his routine too
Kageyama (CONTAINS A SPOILER IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE MANGA! itâs important to his character arc!)
he doesnât understand all your witchcraft
But this?
He understandsÂ
Many focus in the harvest for samhain
But the two of you focus on those who have passed on
Cooking the favorite meals of someone you both have lost
Kageyama cooks for his grandpa
Kageyama says a prayer when putting food out for his
He sits for awhile talking to his grandpa
Kageyama doesnât know if there really is an afterlife
Or if there is if his grandpa can hear him
But he talks anyways
Telling him thank you
Thank you for helping my love volleyballÂ
Thank you for being there for me
I made great friends because of volleyballÂ
And Kageyama will cry
Heâll cry and youâll pretend not to notice this time
Because these tears arenât ones full of burden
They are tears of natural grief
itâs honestly the first time heâs cried about his grandpa in front of someone
The two of you spend the rest of the night reminiscingÂ
When the sun begins to come up over the horizonÂ
Kageyama will smile at you and ask
âCan we do this again next year?â
And samhain becomes a holiday you always spend together more important than any other
