Hello, friends - and welcome to our second casting call post in a month! We're extremely excited for Rites of Descendancy to finish casting, but we're ALSO looking for roles to fill for Season 4 of Syntax! All of the roles posted will be involved in both Season 4 and Season 5 of Syntax, and vary on recording times/length. As per usual, these roles will be paid depending on sponsorships, ad revenue, and Patreon income!

Midnight Burger - soooo funny and cool??? Gloria is such a mood and Caspar pls I love him (also I’m on episode 5)
The storage papers - I finally caved in and listened to it, it’s good but Uhm I think I missed the over all plot (or maybe there isn’t one idk I’m just confused 😭💀 but I’m also only on eps 10)

Me drawing more Syntax fanart?? Yeah thats not shocking...
Had to draw everyones favourite Bird Bait, specifically based on a description given to me for Silas' appearance during college. I do find it funny that despite my favourite character being Cassius, I draw Silas the most.
Im actually happy with how this has turned out. Recently, I have been having to learn to draw with my left hand and its pushed me to just generally improve my art. I think my main focus on things to fix is how I dras shoes, cause those shoes are questionable...
I love this podcast so much that 10/10 would recommend it. Although it has made me cry too many times.

Help for an LGBTQIA+ Podcast?
hey guys!! i’m making a post for my audio drama/podcast called Syntax. we’re really really trying to raise funds for our second season so we can pay our cast and crew accordingly, and we’re 13 days away from closing the campaign with only 26% of goal raised!!
it’s a full-cast, sci-fi horror audio drama with an entirely LGBTQIA+ cast, as well as huge queer elements within the show (such as a non-binary main character!)! it’s primarily focused on a linguist who gets handed a set of artifacts and is asked to translate an unknown language, which sets him on a path of all kinds of fuckery, trauma, and horror. It’s extremely found-family with some really cool monsters/worldbuilding and character dynamics!!

SYNTAX CAST ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!
As many of you know, we sent out a casting call for Syntax's 4th season not too long ago, and the time has FINALLY come to reveal who will be bringing these new characters to life in this upcoming season! Check them out below!
If you saw our S4 teaser, you may remember the name Nico Weber. This is one of the new characters that will appear in Syntax, portrayed by the amazing Rae Witte! You may have heard her in Observable Radio and The Dex Legacy! You AIN'T ready for her portrayal of Nico!
Next up, we have the talented Asher Amor-Train, who is most familiarly known as Frank Williamson in Tell No Tales! They will also be heard in the upcoming show Forged Bonds, and more! We're so excited to have Asher joining us, especially as a WILDLY different character!
Now, we have the multi-talented Elijah Harper, who you may have heard in Eeler's Choice, and, most recently, Signal Intrusion Four of The Moon Crown! They will be portraying the 'muscle', Lief Hanson! You can find out more about them at their website here: https://elijahharper.neocities.org/audio/
Next may come as some surprise to folks... We're welcoming the incredible Rhys Lawton to portray Pierr--... I mean, the notorious Nicholas Thatcher! You may know Rhys from The Secret of St. Kilda, Ethics Town, The Nebulous Saga, and more! Check him out! http://rhyslawton.com
Last, but certainly not least, we're welcoming Millie Tanookie on as the Specialist! Though this role was not mentioned in the casting call, we were thinking of it throughout auditions, and found Millie to be an exceptional fit. This will be their debut of voice acting! Yippee!
