Do you like Control, The Magnus Archives, or Alan Wake? And general archival and mistery type content? Maybe I was under a rock and everybody already knows about this but I found this hidden gem that strongly reminds me of TMA. It's a mostly audio based story of an FBC employee analysing filed altered objects, as the story continues we hear more about his situation during the bureau lockdown.
I'm not done listening to it but I'm really enjoying it so far!!

* Prologue
There used to be a child, one named Chara.
Chara was an unhappy child, growing up in a bad family.
At seven years old, they decided they had enough.
They climbed Mount Ebott, and they jumped in a deep hole they found inside.
They started plummeting to their death.
Or, so they thought.
No, they did not die.
In fact, they were mostly unharmed,
it was a miracle!
But not for them.
They wanted to leave this plane of existence, their plan failed.
They fell into the Underground.
Someone heard them hit the flowers below.
It was a little goat boy.
His name was Asriel Dreemurr.
He was also seven at the time.
He wondered what the noise was, so he investigated.
Finding an injured human, he nearly panicked.
He rushed to their side.
Then, with the Surface light basking them both, he helped them onto their feet.
He took them to the safety of his home.
There, Chara grew fond of the monsters.
They loved them more than they ever did to humans.
This one, was actually a miracle.
They heard the tales of monsterkind.
They grew saddened by all the monsters lost.
They grew up in the underground.
A near case of manslaughter and six years was howwhat it took them to make a plan.
They were thirteen then.
They dicussed their plan with their brother, Asriel.
They would eat buttercups, they would die, he would absorb their soul.
The little goat boy was immeadiately worried, were they going to die then? He asked.
They confirmed, yes they would.
He began to cry, they asked him if he was crying; now worried.
He denied it, he agreed to the plan.
They felt bad.
They set the plan into motion.
They failed
They died.
Monsters moved on, it took years for another human to fall.
They needed seven to break the barrier.
They had seven, counting Chara's mostly shattered one.
That wouldn't do.
They needed a seventh.
And eventually, a seventh human fell down.
A human by the name frisk.
A homicidal child.
They started to kill everything in their way.
They could come back after death, there were no consequences.
They grabbed their nearest weapon, and slashed at the monsters.
One, by, one, they died. Fruitless efforts to end them occurred.
They won, they killed while Chara helplessly watched; attached to Frisk's soul and unable to leave.
Their mother, and a horde of monsters they'd never met but felt immensely bad for.
Until, something began to eat at them.
They liked to call this thing, Hatred.
It consumed them, in the form of LV and EXP.
They lost their mind.
They made a deal with Frisk.
A deal with the Devil.
Their soul was taken in exchange for restoring the world.
RESET.
That was what they did.
They went through the Underground again, sparing and befriending everyone.
Hatred had not completely let go of Chara until their brother re-appeared.
Frisk fought valiantly, they died. And they refused. Re-fused.
They came back, and they shattered the barrier.
They set the monsters free.
They stayed with Toriel, much to Chara's content.
But Chara still technically owned their soul.
So they took over, one night.
A murderer such as Frisk did not deserve all these good monsters.
They were not above consequences.
This was Karma getting back at them.
The consequences of their actions.
And so, they were back.
Chara is now open to Asks.

Paranormal comedy The Supernatural Protection Company: "Intake #04329 - Bleeding Hearts Therapy" out NOW!
Episode 8 of The Supernatural Protection Company is available now on RedCircle, Spotify, Apple, Apollo Podcasts, or wherever else you like to listen.
In this episode, Dr. Marcus Williams, vampire therapist and bestselling author, calls to register his practice as an in-network provider. Guest starring Adam Robinson, a cast member on @themooncrownpod, another phenomenal show that I love very much.
It's been a while since my last episode due to personal reasons, so if you are unfamiliar with my show it is episodic so you can start anywhere! Episodes are a mixture of scripted and improv comedy, based around the concept of "what kinds of calls would you get working in a call center for paranormal insurance?"
You can find our other socials on Twitter (it sucks, don't go there if you have other options), Mastodon, and Bluesky.
I'm always open to pitches for collaboration (especially improvisers, but also with other shows like I've done in the past 👀), so if you have an idea for an episode or just a general desire to take part, shoot me a DM!
PLUS patrons of all tiers now have access to an exclusive excerpt from Dr. William's bestselling self-help book "Don't Suck It Up! A Guide to Emotional Healing for the Modern Vampire":
