playing a game with friends where each person gets assigned 5 dresses that reminds everyone of them, these are the 5 dresses people picked out for me when it was my turn to be assigned dresses ^_^
Soap Bubbles is the dress that won (as in, the dress everyone thought was most "me") - which is surprising! maybe everyone just really liked this coord i did with it from Harajuku Day LA in the summer?
My own vote however for dress that is most me is Sugary Carnival Special Set! It's a dress I've wanted ever since I started in 2011, and thought I'd never own since it's kind of a rare and limited colorway - only a small amount were made and you could only buy it from the Tokyo store location. Someone leaving lolita listed up the set for sale secondhand in 2017 during a period where I wasn't even wearing lolita much and was thinking about quitting myself, and I asked them kindly if they didn't mind the dress dying in a closet, why not it be my closet it dies in? and here I am 6(almost 7) years later, still here, still wearing lolita fashon :^)
Note: anyone can pick any dress for the assigned person, even dresses they don't own, but coincidentally I do happen to already own all 5 dresses that were picked for me (although in other cuts/colorways - I have resigned myself to never owning sax x pink Carnival and that's okay lol)
Paris Fashon Week - Summer/ Spring Collection This is the piece i have created for london fashion week, i have used elements of 2 illustators within my work, i chose the Givenchys piece as i found the denim outfit appealing to my own personal style. I enjoyed creating the background as i incoperated real denim into the backgroud for texture. The media i used was graphic pens to create the look of denim which i found difficult but once looking at some tutorials i belive the outcome was very effective. If i was to improve this piece i would make it bigger to fill out the page to make my drawing the centrepiece.
