Takeout from Sukiya! I tried their Triple Garlic Beef Bowl: fried cloves of garlic, garlic sprouts (the green things), crispy fried garlic chili flakes (the red crunchies), and black garlic oil. Which seems to me to be four garlics? I think that maybe it's the garlic sprouts don't count. They're sweet and not too garlicky.

Pros: It's nice to have so many vegetables in a beef bowl. Also, I *love* the garlic chili flakes! Great crispy texture, great flavor, great balance of spicy and savory. If they sold them as a condiment, I'd buy a bottle.

Cons: Too much garlic! Even for me. Even knowing what I was getting into. I think I had 8 or 9 cloves of garlic, and that's for a mini size, which, apparently, comes with 60 grams of toppings. That's a lot of garlic! I felt like I still had garlic breath the next morning. That said, I may well get it again.

Oh come on, Sukiya also still exists! Least these don’t look hastily slapped on this time like the Sukiya logo (although Karatetsu was the only one I could tag and was already there in The Rising)... Looks like they also got rid of the Futomen Doudou sponsorship, is that still a thing? Well doesn’t matter, when it comes to heroes sponsored by bowl noodles, they didn’t have Hiroshi “Segata Kamen Sanshiro Rider” Fujioka in their advertisements.

Black sesame bubble tea - very deep tasting, not sweet. Preferred it to be a little sweeter tbh.

Visited Sukiya when super hungry and ordered a regular size for the first time in years. The amount was shocking! It probably didn't help that I got two toppings: my perennial favorite, grated daikon and ponzu, plus a limited-time one, menma with crunchy chili oil. Fire and ice makes a weird combo, but eating them in alternation is pretty good.

Sukiya works really hard on new menus, but the new teriyaki salmon...too much sauce...
