AHMAD DHANI MEMANG YAHUDI, TETAPI BUKAN ZIONIS. BENARANKAH?!

Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo alias Ahmad Dhani, memiliki darah Yahudi dari garis keturunan ibunya. Kakeknya adalah Jan Pieter Friederich Kohler, seorang Yahudi-Jerman, yang merupakan ayah ibunda Dhani, Joyce Theresia Pamela Kohler.

“Mata Ilahi” (Eye of Providence), atau piramida terpancung dengan mata satu diatasnya, merupakan simbol Kristen yang kerap diidentikkan dengan organisasi Freemasonry dan Iluminati. Simbol tersebut terlihat sekilas dalam karya-karya Dewa-19. Begitu juga Piramida terpenggal ditampilkan pada cover album “Dewa-19” (1992), dan Mata Satu terlihat pada cover album “Cintailah Cinta” (2002).

Dalam video klip “Satu” (2004), pada durasi 1:43, terlihat seseorang dengan “Piramida mata satu” diatas telapak tangannya. Dalam beberapa kali konser, Dhani kadang kedapatan menggunakan kalung “bintang daud” yang merupakan simbol Yahudi.

Meski tersirat unsur-unsur Yahudi didalam karya-karyanya, Dhani ternyata gerah dengan tuduhan “Antek Yahudi” dari para haters. Ia menegaskan dirinya bukanlah Zionis dan tak pernah mengkampanyekan Yahudi, apalagi berurusan dengan perpolitikan Israel. Baginya, simbol-simbol tersebut hanyalah ekspresi seni belaka. Meski masih keturunan Yahudi, Ahmad Dhani adalah seorang muslim, dan unsur tasawuf kerap tersirat didalam karya-karyanya bahkan nama anak-anaknya.

Pada Maret 2011, Ahmad Dhani turut menjadi target terror bom buku karena dianggap sebagai figur Yahudi. Bom disertakan dalam buku berjudul “Yahudi Militan”, yang mana Dhani dijadikan model sampulnya. Beruntung, Dhani selamat dari rencana pembunuhan tersebut. Dhani kemudian melaporkan dua orang penulis buku, yang menurutnya telah menggiring opini berbahaya seolah-olah dirinya antek Yahudi.

Setelah menanggalkan unsur-unsur Yahudi dalam karya-karyanya, pada Tahun 2014, Media “Times of Israel” mengecam kostum Dhani dalam video klip untuk kampanye capres Prabowo Subianto yang mana dianggap mirip seragam pejabat elite partai Sosialis Nasional Jerman.

An Island bar with Jäegermeister shots coming at -18 C , exclusive single malt section is mandatory but to be asked in what whisky you would like your warm toddy (gently simmering with orange peel, cloves , cinnamon…) was a first . Endless buffet with regional cuisines is mandatory but a section with a degustation menu served personally by a celebrity chef was a first . Live performances is mandatory but to have a Sufi singer with an 8 piece band including a violinist was a first . The mandatory “bhaaji” given by all punjabis is mandatory but to get a gigantic box custom made by Haldirams was a first . I don’t really get to listen to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan back in the USA. I used to BUMP this in the car, cranked up to 27. After 9/11, suddenly it wasn’t something you could play too loudly without neighbors looking at you suspiciously anymore. It’s great music, no matter what anyone says. Some of you might recognize this one from Natural Born Killers, the riot scene when Tommy Lee Jones loses control of the prison. I really don’t know what Oliver Stone was thinking using a devotional love song for the most violent scene in the film. But he did. Good song, though. Great album.
