In the semifinals for the @ultimate-submas-tournament, the Woodsman finds himself challenged not by PMD Sneasel!Ingo (@teamconductors) or Ghost Worm!Ingo (@blaiddraws) themselves, but more by what they fundamentally are. Re: dead and a Sneasel. It’s a lot for a guy to take in.
Transcript
Woodsman: *jibbering nonsense*
PMD!Ingo: Think he’ll calm down anytime soon?
Worm!Ingo: Doubt it.
Woodsman: WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON ANYMORE?! SNEASELS?! WORMS?! WHY?!
PMD!Ingo: Is he… crying?
Worm!Ingo: …yes.
Woodsman: Oh my dearest brother, we’re really in it now!!!

Map of Soho Good Omens Season 2 - Part 4 (Whickber Street [right])
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
Update: Map now identifies Lucky Snake
Tumblr media
The right side of Whickber Street doesn't have as many stores. It also ends with a park. On one side: -Dirty Donkey Pub The pub occupies most of the block, in the far side there is a small alleyway that leads to a courtyard and to the pub's backdoor. This courtyard has two large doors facing the street. Since there is an alleyway the courtyard is not isolated, people can come and go. I imagine this courtyard acts as a loading area where the pub receives and unloads supplies. And on the other side:
-Market This structure is more like a small office building or a parking garage with flower and fruit stands at street level. It was already there in Season 1 -Unknown structure There is an alleyway between this mysterious structure at the end of the block and the market, so they are not connected. This structure has a door but no sign that I could see. It doesn't look like a storefront at all, maybe storage? public restroom? something so British that a non-British person is unable to imagine?

For the @steddiemicrofic challenge Prompt: cake | WC: 311 | G | no CW A Dustin POV steddie discovery, everyone's fave
Steve has been up to something for weeks. Dustin knows the only way to find out what he’s been up to: sneak in and go through his shit. He’s calling it sneaking too, because if he knows where the key is he doesn’t think it can be called breaking and entering.
He twists the front knob slowly so it doesn’t click in the latch, even mostly deaf Steve always knows when someone’s at the door. Eddie would say crouching before he’s even through the doorway is a dead giveaway that something’s up. But what does he know?
“There are more helpful places your hands could be.” Dustin freezes in place; his hand still on the front door.
“There are less helpful places my hands could be.” That’s Eddie’s voice responding, but his van hadn’t been in the driveway.
“You’re the one that said you wanted cake.” He’s too far from the kitchen to tell, but Dustin would bet Steve has his hands on his hips.
“What if I said I actually wanted beefcake.”
Steve can be a bit of a ditz sometimes, but Dustin can’t imagine him getting cake and that confused. What would beefcake even be, meatloaf?
“I would say you should have said something before we got up.”
“I would’ve but y’know how you get when your mind’s made up, Sweetheart.”
“No, I don’t actually. Want to share, Edmund?”
“Only that delicious cake you’re making.” Dustin can hear Eddie’s feet moving on Steve’s tile flooring. He’s creeping up on the doorway now, but has to assume based on the giggling that Eddie was moving out of smacking range.
Moving even closer, Dustin can see Steve facing the oven. Two perfect, white handprints on the ass of his jeans. “Your child is lurking,” Steve says, “do you wanna tell him what you’ve been doing to his babysitter, or should I?”

Why do Aziraphale & Crowley go to the pub?
There’s no obvious reason, right? They could have talked about the 25 Lazarii miracle and the Nina & Maggie love plan in the bookshop. Jim was obviously there for the miracle so he knows about it and its real purpose, and he was there for Aziraphale and the angels discussing the miracle strength and Aziraphale's lie. Later Crowley will do the awning-of-a-new-age plan in front of Jim, even before* he gets wine-drunk and protective and tries to get Jim to out himself as Gabriel. Jim also knows about the song he himself sang that Aziraphale performs for Crowley on the street outside the pub.
There’s nothing that happens during the pub outing that Jim doesn’t know already except that Crowley is a sap who watches Richard Curtis films and/or fell in love under an awning (I think the latter).
So why go to the pub, which is apparently not their normal routine? Am I missing something?
If there’s a reason that doesn’t meet the eye, I’m thinking it’s one of the following:
To ensure that Mr. Brown asks Aziraphale to host the shopkeepers meeting so everyone on the street will be inside the bookshop/embassy Thursday evening.
To show themselves together acting normally (or as normally as these drama queens get) to anyone watching.
To keep an eye on someone in the pub.
To make sure someone on the street overhears the song.
This is a different timeline and some details are different enough that it necessitates having this conversation outside the bookshop.
Am I missing something? Is there another reason for not having this discussion in the bookshop? Is this a ⭐Clue⭐? Or did Neil just want them to go to the pub? Has anyone addressed this?
*Assuming time is normal (ha!)

I can't believe they really went with "antagonist gets amnesia, vaguely recognises the protagonist and decides that they are besties actually" trope

221B Baker Street Christmas!
I'm making my house a Murder Mystery Christmas. My newest acquisition is a Department 56 Literary Classics model of Sherlock Holmes' house, with Sherlock and Watson!
Tumblr media
It's all set for the season with garland and wreath, a table full of tiny British Xmas foods, a Christmas tree, and three annoying carolers. Miss Marple, Father Brown, and Hercule Poirot watch over them like Guardian Angels.
Tumblr media
Dr. Moriarty left them a plum pudding. I don't think they'll eat it.
Tumblr media
A better look at the two.

I was thinking about Kate and Milligan (as usual) but specifically about what Kate calls Milligan. Because he's Milligan to her, but that doesn't make him any less her dad, but she doesn't call him Dad, yknow?
How did it go? Was it an unspoken agreement where they just knew and understood the other despite just having met as father and daughter for the first time? Did she just bounce up to him and go "I'm not calling you Dad. You're Milligan and you're going to stay Milligan." and did he reply "Alright, Katie-Cat" without even a twinge of hurt because it's just so right? He just found his daughter, how could he ever be sad about anything ever again?
Or- maybe it wasn't that easy? Maybe she bounced up to him, and everything felt right, but he couldn't help but wonder... and so he went to the one place he always knew he could go when he felt lost. When he presented his troubles to Mr. Benedict - "No, it's going great, but I can't help wondering ... she doesn't want to call me Dad. Which is fine, of course, but ... maybe she doesn't see me in that way?" - when he presented his troubles to Mr. Benedict, how long did he laugh and slump unconscious for, before waking up and apologizing profusely, before helping Milligan sort it all out. (Which really meant sort himself out. Kate had it all figured out, apparently.)
Or- did she try at first? Did she try to press at a puzzle piece that just wouldn't fit? Her dad left. He left a long time ago and she's lived with that her whole life. But - her Milligan is here now. Could he ever understand?
Or- maybe it just slipped out one day, years down the line? When she was teasing him - "Extra coat, Kate, it's brisk out!" / "Da-ad, I'm nearly sixteen, you know, you don't need to-" - did they both freeze? Did she not realize what she'd done until she was halfway down the sidewalk? Did she catch him wiping at his eyes and blowing his nose? Did she tuck that away in her back pocket for later?
Just. It's all good, ya know?
