Does anyone else just cry for John ? He was just so beautiful and rare and sometimes it just makes me cry

A bit ashamed to say yes. I do. Quite often actually. It could just be reading something he has said: “Do you like me?” or whatever it is. I’ve always – uh, played that one." (talking about needing constant reassurance) or when Paul talks for example about John having thoughts of how people will perceive him when he's gone.

Also while listening to his songs. The demo of Strawberry Fields Forever (eerie song to a sad childhood that he can't seem to let go of and looks upon with such sentimentality?). And then "A Day in The Life", a song about having your brains blown out and ending up the same.

He was beautiful, not in the way that he was perfect. But because he wasn't at all. He saw himself as an "unpleasant character" and was very vulnerable but had this sharp humor he used as an armor which intimidated people. I love him so much.

Also sobbed a lot when Now and Then trailer dropped, when Paul said "In My Life" and the video panned out to young John (a glimpse of Beatlemania and their beginnings as a successful group).

Thank you very much for your messages of support (and an apology because I haven't had the head to reply), my kitty Biscuit is feeling better and that's the most important thing. :) Now, on Monday I'm going back to faculty and I'll have a new subject so I'll have some drawing inactivity but as soon as I have the chance I'll be back (I'll keep coming back to this place because I feel at home here, you guys are already like my family). I love and appreciate you with all my heart. I wish you a lot of peace and love as Ringo Starr would say. :) 🌷🌻🪻🍓💫
