It isn't on Tumblr, but some of my moots know about this. I'm wiring a book at the moment, and I'm nearly finished with the first draft!! I'm so excited 🤧 Who knows if it will ever get published, but I'm really proud of it so far *^*

I think I have a weird taste in comfort media because... Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer are my comfort shows 😶

this is based off the small hc i have that he is sometimes so forgetful bc he has 20 other things to worry about and I LOVE IT so i hope you enjoy it :p
"babe are you ready to go?" kuroo shouts across the apartment, digging through a drawer in search of the car keys.
"yeah, just another minute!" you respond, finishing packing the necessities (and more because you know kuroo forgot something in his packing). after grabbing the last few items and throwing them into the beach bag, you run out into the living room where kuroo is waiting by the door for you.
finally approaching him, he wraps an arm around your shoulder, placing a small kiss on your temple then opening the door for you. both heading out the car hand in hand ready for the beach day.
"i would just like you to explain," there's silence as you try to hold back your laughter, "how you managed to forget a swimsuit...to go the beach..." you both sit in the silence for a few minutes before you can no longer hold your laughter in.
"heyyy" he pouts down at you, "its not funny, i was busy looking for the car keys then i blanked." you lean up to peck his lips before smiling, "there's a small shop the sells swimsuits about 5 minutes from here, lets go buy you one."
after 20 minutes of digging through the swimsuits through the store, you managed to find one that matched your swimsuit perfectly. and after buying it, kuroo changing into it (and 32 cute mirror pictures), you made your way to the beach, his arm wrapped tightly around your waist.
once the towels were set up, both of you finally made your way into the water, splashing and swimming around for hours. as the sun begins to set, kuroo makes his way to you -after calling a truce that he wouldn't dunk your head underwater anymore- to hold you as you both relax in the ocean.
your arms and legs wrapped tight around him as he holds you up, rubbing slow circles onto your back.
"thank you for a fun birthday tetsu." you pull your head off of his shoulder to plant a kiss on his lips, "im glad you enjoyed yourself honey, happy birthday." he places a small kiss on your neck, dropping his head to now rest on your shoulder.
"do you want to get out soon?" you ask as you run your fingers through his hair, you watch him visibly relax at the action.
"soon, i like being here with you." placing a few kisses on your shoulder you sigh and after a few moments of silence you whisper, "you're avoiding getting out because you don't remember where you put the car keys huh?" you giggle as you feel him tense in your hold. you pull his head up, placing your hands onto his cheeks, "they are in my bag."
"pft. i knew that." he lays his head back down onto your shoulder, "i love you."
"i love you too tetsu."

hmmmm tbh i think i’d like to do a trip where we go to a bunch of places but maybe stay in each for a few days- a week at a time ? i usually prefer laid back vacations where there’s not a set itinerary since that’s what i’m used to <3 also idk how i would handle that much driving LOL i cannot spend that much time in a car

summary: you try to guess who the familiar handsome stranger you’re seated next to on the plane is

"AB23...AB23...," you whispered under your breath, dragging the worn suitcase along the narrow, crowd-filled space, abruptly stopping when you look up and spot the AB row, a heavy body crashing into you from behind, the person quickly holding your shoulders to stabilise you, before politely retracting their hands just as quickly.
you turn back to see a tall blonde haired man, a little taken aback at the handsome face staring back at you, you eyed his athletic physique a little before profusely apologising. cheeks a little reddened.
"don't worry about it, are you okay?" he leaned towards to inspect you for injuries as you instinctively step back, you were definitely flustered, it's not everyday an attractive man gives you this much attention.
"yeah i'm good," you responded giving him the thumbs up, quickly placing your carry on in the top compartment and taking the window seat, desperately hoping you wouldn't have to interact with the gorgeous stranger and possibly embarrassing yourself anymore than you already have.
oh little did you know, the handsome stranger returned taking the seat next to yours.
noticing your confused stare, "got a little distracted finding my seat," he said.
"oh, you look strangely familiar," your head cocked to the side, as you tried to figure out who he was.
"really now?" atsumu sits up straighter, you were cute and he wasn't gonna let an opportunity as good as this slip by. the devious little fox couldn't contain his smile as an interesting idea popped up in his head. "if you can guess who I am, I'll treat you to coffee and a meal, but if you don't, well I like espressos." he smiled victoriously, he wins no matter what.
honestly you knew your chances were low but you weren't exactly thinking with your head, thoughts fixating more on the idea of having dinner with him. ah well you were on vacation anyway, what's letting a little loose gonna do?

"i got it! you're an actor aren't you?"
"nope. wrong again.~" he laughed, pushing his tupperware of grapes towards you before popping one in his mouth.
"hmm....," you eyed him, strong jaw, well defined features, and he was in amazing shape, "a model?"
"well...," you held your breath in anticipation, "sometimes."
"what does that even mean?!" grabbing a handful of grapes and stuffing your mouth with them. in a muffled voice you manage to say, "model sometimes...a fellow struggling college student trying to make some extra cash on the side?"
"we-"
"nah, everything on you screams expensive."
"hey! what's that supposed to mean."
atsumu couldn't help but grin at you, your nose scrunched up, eyebrows furrowed as you try to place who he was, cute, he thought.
you guys passed time asking stupid questions that led to questions about each others' life which in turn led to questions about existence, it was fun. you also played a fair share of those multiplayer games on the mini-tv.
"i guess you owe me coffee."
"i guess you owe me coffee."
"i guess i do." you said lugging your luggage behind you.
you remained good on your word treating him to an espresso but even after coffee you couldn't figure out who he was, and so it extended into dinner.
as you guys were in the middle of the meal, atsumu excused himself to the bathroom and that's when you realised you haven't checked your phone at all all this time.
you renabled your wifi, checking your group chat messages when one particular picture made you drop your fork.
"oml miya atsumu is so dreamy, LOOK AT HIM, he is just STUFFED in that suit."
"100% agreement, he's hot."
"mhm i would let him do anything to me. he is so fine."
your friends had been commenting on the picture one of them sent.
staring back at you was the face you have just spent the last 18 hours next to, stuffed into a perfectly tailored suit, a perfume bottle between his gorgeous fingers, and underneath it all it read, "Miya Atsumu, Olympic Team Japan, Volleyball."
"guys don't freak out, but i think, no bs, i'm having dinner with miya atsumu."
chaos ensued in the group chat.
you were fueled with excitement waiting for atsumu to comeback, you couldn't help smiling as your heart swelled with giddiness.
"what are you so happy about?" atsumu raised you an eyebrow walking back from the bathroom towards the table.
"i don't know, why don't you tell me, miya-san," you looked up him, atsumu notted how much you looked like a little puppy waiting to be petted.
he gave you a proud smile, "you figured it out!" you nodded excitedly. "i did! i can't believe i'm in the presence of an olympian! it was so obvious! athlete, duh. my friends are big fans of yours."
well you couldn't exactly tell him about the simpfest in your groupchat this early in your friendship.
"how about you? not a fan?" he asked sitting back down again.
"oh i'm more into competitive swimming." you said, twirling a huge bite of pasta and spooning it into your mouth.
"it's okay we can change that." atsumu said under his breath, taking a sip of his wine.
"what's that?"
"no it's nothing," he looked at you with a devious grin as you innocently enjoyed your pasta.
"ooo this pasta is so good, especially since it's gonna be free. should we share a tiramisu too?"
"oh i see you're revealing your colours now huh, sneaky little girl," atsumu had his elbows on the table, chin leaning on the back of his hand.
“you’re so stingy, mr olympian,” you pout.
"alright alright, i guess i wouldn't mind some tiramisu too," he said in feigned exasperation, before you two break out into laughter again.
✈️✨✈️☁️
finally the end of the night was nearing, you guys sat at your table waiting for the waiter to return with atsumu's card.
your heart sunk a little knowing you probably wouldn't see your airplane friend again. you wished you could stay in the moment forever, your conversations flowed so effortlessly, your sense of humours were so perfectly compatible, with passionate personalities the both of you just operated at the same frequency and even the moments of silence were comfortable, as if the both of you had known each other forever.
atsumu leaned towards you, laying a hand on your head, ruffling it a little, "why the sour face pretty girl?"
“we have to part already, it was so fun. chatting i mean." oh you were just so adorable, he could just kiss you right there.
"well if you're that sad about it, i'm free tomorrow night for dinner." he withdrew his hand.
your eyes widened a little, "really?"
"unless you don't want to...," he trailed.
"no! i want to." you said a little too eagerly, exactly the response he was expecting and exactly the response he adored.
atsumu chuckled, "you've never been in the area before right? i know a nice place." he paused before adding, "let's count tomorrow as our first date, today doesn't really count since you didn't know who i was," he said nonchalantly.
"wait date?" your eyes widened even further.
"unless-"
"no! i want to...."
still sensing a little bit of hesitation, "i don't chat up every girl i bump into on the plane you know," he adds, laughing. "here hand me your phone, this is my number." he said adding his number to your phone under 'handsome plane cutie' before calling himself, "now i have yours too."
just as the waiter returned with his card, his phone rang.
"i have to go now, guess someone kept me here too long."
"oh okay! so do i..."
"i'll text you cutie, don't try to ghost me now." he stood up, pulling his stuff together. "i won't!" you huffed, pouting again, making him stop momentarily, turning back to pinch your cheek and leave a kiss on your forehead.
"a little teaser for tomorrow." he said before waving and walking away.
a devious smile plastered on his face for the nth time, he was sure about two things, one- he was so glad he missed his first flight with the team and two- he couldn't wait to play with you tomorrow.

OHHH SUGAWARA!! you are at lunch w one of your friends and then someone comes into the restaurant and your friend introduces you two!! it’s super awkward at first bc you guys have never met but after a while it starts to flow better and you think he seems like a nice person. now all of a sudden you start running into him everywhere?? like you’ve never seen him before and now you run into him at the grocery store, the mall, the coffee shop 22 minutes away from where you live. and so you both decide maybe you should try to be friends if you are constantly seeing each other. you invite him over for like coffee and dessert and you make him bread pudding and he raved about it afterwards and now he’s always asking you to make him some </33
