Lets get a mantis shrimp aegir op in this game.
I know you're probably thinking about this in a peacock mantis/shrimp-colors kind of way, but stomatopods are seriously dangerous predators for their size. You can lose a finger to these things.
The species are often categorized as spearers or smashers by their front claw structures. Some even use cavitation bubbles to do double-strikes, which makes them an easy fit for a swordmaster guard.
An alphaeid shrimp could also be fun, if they wanted to lean into the cavitation attacks.
