Some of my spotters for my Lopers if the Maudlin Marsh force. The lopers are maybe my favorite army to build and play in any game. They look as ridiculous as they are to play, and stumbling across the field, exile everyone else has to deal with stupid little rules like range, positioning, and terain is just a good time.
They stilts are made from cut down sprue, and I added a bit of SceneAramma foliage and grass to get the proper grit. And grass packs. Green hag and rootling for scale.
The lopers may have their heads in the heads, but they remain rooted to the earth!
View of stilt walker, wearing a top hat and suit, surrounded by crowd of men and boys in front of the Hotel Fowler in Detroit. Boy in foreground stands with bicycle. Advertisement on back of stilt walker's coat reads: "$1 secures a lot [undecipherable] Park, take Jefferson Ave., cars to car barn, and take free sight seeing auto, tickets at La Fond's cigar stores, 406 Penobscot Bldg." Handwritten on back: "Streets--Detroit, 1910."
